The article is devoted to studying the development of scientific and methodological work and its impact on the quality of students' vocational training in higher pedagogical education institutions by applying information technology. The article aim is to development of the organizational methodological support and pedagogical diagnostics of the effectiveness of the project «Modelling scientific and methodological work in a higher education pedagogical institution by applying information technology » realization in the framework of increasing the level of scientific and methodological work in a higher education pedagogical institution as a factor contributing to enhancing the quality of pedagogical education. The research program of the project activity envisages stating and substantiating the problem of scientific and methodological work by applying information technology in the framework of increasing the level and quality of educational activities in a higher pedagogical education institution through the implementation of the project approach, developing a model for the system of organizational and methodological support of the project implementation as well as monitoring the process and evaluating the results of the project implementation in terms of developing teachers' scientific, methodological, information competency and enhancing students' progress in studying. The set of criteria were developed to evaluate the level of formation of scientific and methodological competency as a result of implementing the project for the development of scientific and methodological work. The scientific and methodological work by applying information technology in the academy was carried out in accordance with the following principles: systematic character, consistent diagnostics, practical focus, scientific organizational and methodological support.

Background and objective: The vitalization of urban agriculture has increased various forms of experience-based education using school gardens, which raised the importance of school gardens in terms of value as well as the need to develop an implementation system for education-based agricultural experience service using school gardens. Thus, we reset the evaluation indicators from the previous study to establish objective evaluation indicators that enable quantitative comparison of school garden education services. Methods: Analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and direct question (DQ) surveys were conducted on 20 experts from October 12 to 19, 2020 after establishing the purpose and subjects of evaluation, and then the weights were calculated using the Expert Choice 2010 program. Results: First, we analyzed the problems of the previous indicators by categorizing the performance indicators and comparing and verifying them with six requirements of valuation. Then, we added 'welfare values' and established sub-indicators accordingly. The importance of value indicator in AHP was in the order of education values (0.544), health values (0.182), welfare values (0.164), environmental values (0.062), and economic values (0.049). The importance of environmental and economic values was relatively low, less than 0.1. The importance of sub-indicators was highest in cultivating character (0.144), followed by enhancing ecological sensitivity (0.141) > promoting mental health (0.134) > cultivating agricultural literacy (0.120) > improving social skills (0.104). And mitigating climate change in environmental values was lowest (0.009). Increase in income was the lowest (0.036). This can be regarded as the expression of change to increase the educational effect based on collective life and the connotative meaning of 'school'. In the case of DQ, the AHP weight and order were the same, but the environmental and economic values were relatively low, and the result was different from AHP weight. For sub-indicators, the importance in DQ was highest in promoting mental health (0.136), followed by promoting physical health (0.085), ]cultivating character (0.082), social integration (0.072), and enhancing ecological sensitivity (0.071). After reviewing related experts, we came up with 5 evaluation indicators and 16 sub-indicators for school garden education service, which are objective evaluation indicators that enable quantitative comparison. Conclusion: In the future, we will validate the socioeconomic values of school garden education services and contribute to revitalizing school gardens by establishing policy alternatives for effective operation and management of school gardens.

Many enterprises make use of 'mecenat action' for positive image ensuring to company and harmony within organization members. Also, at the same time the research has continued estimating of efficiency about that area. but that estimations get accomplished inclusive and abstractive, and then estimation of significant effect isn't sufficient. In this study we consider that many enterprises practice culture and art education program, and related that analyze the estimation of effect in 'mecenat action'. Stand on this analysis we attempts to extract factor, having representation character with making standard for estimation of education effect. That is a implication that relation education programs are prepared many enterprises, In future study, we will need to make standard and select methods about effect estimation, add measurable index that reliability can increase.

This qualitative content analysis aims to explore the meaning of experiences for college students who have experienced community service activities. This study aimed to find the essence of college students' community service experiences and provide them with basic data to develop effective personality education methods and service programs. The participants of this study were six college students with community service experience. Data were collected through in-depth interviews from May to September 2019 and were analyzed using the qualitative content analysis method suggested by Graneheim & Lundman. The community service experiences of college students could be summarized by the core theme, "Becoming a social professional through growth and maturity", consisting of the following themes: together in a living experience, growth through sharing, achieving maturity toward professionalism, and experiencing one's limitations. Through this study, it was confirmed that the experience of college students' service activities would cultivate the human character and competency necessary to live with others, the community, and nature. The college student's service activities could be used as an important educational program in personality education.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the problems and conditions of educational guidance and counselling of teachers in the gifted classes. For the study, 267 teachers were sampled from the Gifted Education Institutes of metropolitan and provincial offices of education and Gifted Classes of the school across Korea, and the questionnaire developed by the researchers were administered to them. The results of this study are as follows : First, the 82% of respondents reported that the guidance and counselling in the gifted education is needed. So it demands the active responsive strategies on it. Second, the respondents reported that the selfish or self-centered traits of the gifted students are the most problematic in the gifted classes. It shows the emphasis should be put on the basic life habits and moral education in the guidance and counselling of the gifted education. Third, they pointed out the case-based education is needed for the parents of the gifted to correct their misconceptions about their children. Fourth, to support the teachers of the gifted program, the administrative measures have to be taken, like operation of character education program, forming a consultative group with the experienced teachers, developing the case-based guideline for the guidance and counselling for the gifted education, etc. Fifth, we should develop the Korean model of the gifted education to promote social capital for our future society.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the current status of the 3+1 curriculum implementation of nursing college in transition from a three-year to a four-year nursing education system. Method: This study employs a triangulation study including a questionnaire survey and a focus group interview. The data collected from 34 nursing colleges were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 21.0 program and the interview data(9 department chairs of nursing colleges) were analyzed using qualitative content analysis. Results: The important results are as follows; Many colleges applied academic performance as student selection standards. Factors in students' satisfaction are acquiring the bachelor's degree and a lot more relaxed college life. Factors in students' dissatisfaction are anxiety about national nursing exam and absence of college's own specialized programs. Main points of 3+1 course policy making are strengthening character education and core-fundamentals education in nursing. After qualitative contents analysis, three management-related subjects and 7 sub-subjects emerged. Three subjects were the effects of the 3+1 course running, the difficulties in management and how to run the 3+1 course effectively. Conclusion: From the results of this study, we concluded with some practical implications for the 3+1 course running for reformed nursing schools.

In many of ITS(Intelligent Tutoring System), they only evaluate student level or simple some student character. We propose student model for considering many student characteristics. Our student model contains student level and student's weak problem type, domain field, problem situation. We can provide optimum problem to individual student by student model.

As propagation of mobile smart devices is widespread, it is an observable trend that the cases of utilizing them are increasing in the school programs, and it is also anticipated that they will be very important part of the educational equipment in near future. For this reason the department of education and science technology has announced a medium and long term project on the education with smart device, which is undergoing the preparation stage, and the various academic and industrial institutes have actively produced the related research results and the application prototypes. In this paper we propose a framework on design and implementation of a visual context recognition system for educational purpose usable in the school program by utilizing a module for recognition of the texts embedded in the image captured by video camera from mobile smart device. The system proposed in this paper is consisted of the four modules, such as, image acquisition, image processing, information extraction, and knowledge representation, which are explained in details with the practical examples.
