This paper examines the nature of the transcendent, absolute, and personal host of ancient philosophical notions of the Higher Power (天觀 cheongwan, literally 'view of heaven'), which flows through Toegye's Principle of Reality (Li), Dasan's Supreme God (Sangje), Suwun's Lord of Heaven (Cheonju), and Jeungsan's Supreme God (Sangje). This confirms the sentiment that despite the conceptual differences relating to appearance, as represented by the Principle of Reality, the Dasanian Supreme God, the Suwunian Lord of Heaven, and the Jeungsanian Supreme God, the contents of these notions do not substantially differ from one another. Moreover, the nature of the ancient philosophical notions of the Higher Power lead to Toegye's Principle of Reality, the Dasanian Supreme God, the Suwunian Lord of Heaven, and the Jeungsanian Supreme God. Toegye emphasized the nature of the Principle of Reality as transcendental and absolute, and also as a personal host. This led to Dasan's Supreme God, and furthermore, it also inspired the Suwunian Lord of Heaven and the Jeungsanian Supreme God. In other words, although Dasan criticizes the Principle of Reality and presupposes a Supreme God, a personal host, this is not especially different from the character or role of Toegye's Principle of Reality. It likewise does not especially differ from the Suwunian Lord of Heaven or the Jeungsanian Supreme God. On the contrary, without the foundation of the religious tradition behind Toegye's Principle of Reality, it would have been difficult to establish a theoretical system leading to the upper system of the Dasanian Supreme God, the Suwunian Lord of Heaven, or the Jeungsanian Supreme God. Of course, the construction of heaven and earth, which in Daesoon Thought is actually performed by the Jeungsanian Supreme God, is, in fact, fundamentally different from Toegye, Dasan, and Suwun's previous notions of the Higher Power. In this sense, it is necessary to present more clearly the religious character of Toegye's Principle of Reality.

There have been reports that the "jeongcho (定礎)" letters of the foundation stone at the historical site No. 280 of the "Main Building of the Bank of Korea in Seoul" were written by Prince Ito Hirobumi (伊藤博文), the first Resident-General of Japan in Korea. An on-site investigation by an advisory group consisting of three experts in calligraphy; revealed that the two characters of '定礎' inscribed on the foundation stone are the characteristics of Ito Hirobumi's handwriting, judging from the writing style and habits observed in the collections of the Central Library of Hamamatsu City, Japan. It was reported that his writing was confirmed by the experts, but no basis was provided. To provide more objective and quantitative supporting data, rather than qualitative judgment based on feeling, it is necessary to present the basis for judgment through quantitative image comparison results through image analysis. In this paper, using image analysis software, Ito Hirobumi's calligraphy writing and the inscribed characters of the foundation stone were compared and analyzed to confirm the contents of the press release. The character comparison process and character area measurement results are a good example showing that if objective judgment basis data are needed in a similar situation, an objective judgment basis can be prepared through quantification using image analysis.

Musicals are plays in which songs and dances are closely aligned with the plot development of the play, and songs and dances develop specific situations and a series of events. In particular, songs perform a fuction of causing the significant changes and emotional ventilation and amplification in the play by specifically capturing the goals and actions the characters are aiming for. This paper focuses on the song that takes on the function of the plot deployment, defines songs that embody actions and stories on stage' as 'action songs' and highlights their role and importance. Action Song is not a clearly defined or prescribed term in Musical. However, 'Action Song' is a song about how a character's desire or motivation for action, given as a 'character song' inserted at the beginning of an integrated musical play, provides a conflict that is a central event of action. In other words, 'action song' means a song that organically combines music and narrative by conveying the action on the stage as a song with lyrics. In addition, it is a song that moves the plot forward and contains a series of events or actions that are the material of the plot. This paper is intended to summarize the concept of'Action song which is not well known to us, and to lay the foundation of the stud, learned the concept, function and efficiency by the analyses of script and music of the musical . As a result, action songs accumulate and amplify tension caused by conflicts and induce the audience to immerse in their emotions. At the same time, the action song multiplies fun and interest of the play while the audience's expectation increased for the next scene after the action song and the progression of the play with single action makes the contents of the drama to be understood clearly.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the possibility of Science Social and Emotional Learning(SSEL). The factors of SSEL were suggested, and by utilizing them, the contents of middle school's science and Chemistry 1 textbook were analyzed. The factors are as follow: numeracy, information and communication technology, critical thinking, creative thinking, personal and social capability, ethical understanding, and intercultural understanding. The results showed that the 60~70% of textbooks put emphasis on numeracy, information and communication technology, critical thinking, creative thinking while some factors were limited in th contents, which were personal and social capability, ethical understanding, and intercultural understanding. Therefore, teacher should try to reconstruct the teaching and learning materials and fill in the deficiencies of SSEL factors through class activities. In addition, it is suggested to study specific application methods such as science activities or experiment activities in detail to meet social and emotional learning.

Recently, various types of dramas have been broadcasted in Korea. Especially, historical dramas having backgrounds about historical events or characters have been recorded high ratings of the viewing audience, as well as a lot of influence on many parts of Korean society. Besides, the historical drama like raised a craze for popular Korean cultures in many Asian countries. The subjects and characters of historical drama are diversifying in recent years. For example, is a royal cook, is a story about running away slaves and their chaser, is a story about a very well-known painter of the Joseon Dynasty era, and is a veterinarian. At this point, in celebration of the officially appointed "year of mathematics", it is very meaningful to demonstrate the importance of mathematics with a historical drama about mathematics and mathematicians of the Joseon Dynasty. In this article, the reasons for production of historical dramas about mathematics and mathematicians in the Joseon Dynasty was presented in two ways. First, modern mathematics has high level of abstractness as its nature, and therefore many students and the public can not understand what except for some areas. Second, it is possible the easier and various approaches can be used to deal with contents about real-life in the view of popularization of mathematics. Also, this article would aim to explore the main character and episodes about mathematics and mathematicians in Joseon Dynasty. For example, the anecdote of Hong Jung Ha, the works of mathematics in the King Sejong's periods, the study of Hong Gil Ju, the joint researches between Nam Byung Gil and Lee Sang Hyuk, the story of Lee Seung Hun, and the mathematics study of middle class people.

Korea has suffered numerous casualties due to a lot of accidents caused by safety insufficiency in recent years. Therefore, safety education is more important than ever before, and 'how to educate with what contents' is an important subject. Especially, experience education is effective rather than theoretical education because of the nature of safety education. However, it is not easy to design and develop these safety education programs. There is not much opportunity to access first-aid training, which is a part of safety education, unless it is compulsory to learn through public institutions. As a result, program utilization on safety education in Korea is still insufficient to what it should be. With that taken into account, this study proposed an effective serious game with fun and immersion for medical first-aid education. To do this, we analyzed five medical games through 20 cases of first-aid applications and elicited five factors that enhance the usability of serious games. With an analysis of five medical games, we selected one game to borrow the game rules, and applied the elicited five elements in the forms of level-up structure, iterative learning, compensation outcomes, competition system, and information transfer. The proposed medical education functional games should have 1) a character that plays a role of a patient, 2) a narrative flow that shows the situation, 3) the user should judge the situation and induce first aid. 4) compensation, levels, and simple repetition should be designed, and 5) information should be shared with the others in the given community. The results of this study is believed to contribute to enhance the medical emergency education in Korea.

This study aims to understand how a global corporation's storytelling-based curriculum is developed for improving English proficiency. Little research has been done from the perspectives of global corporation, and a curriculum of storytelling on Stein and Glenn (1979)'s model was implemented inside English Language Education Program of Samsung Display. 10 participants employed at the global corporation were taught by two instructors during the first semester of 2017 language learning program. The curriculum consisted of three modules: event focused, structure focused, character focused. Storytelling elements of each module were explicitly planned and taught by two instructors. All classes were audio-recorded and observed by the other researchers. It was found that there is a need for improving storytelling proficiency in the global corporation, and that storytelling skills can be teachable, learnable, and assessable.

To investigate the usefulness of Kenaf(Hibiscus cannabinus L.) as mushroom culture media source, we analyze physical condition and contents of nutritional components. The water absorption rate of Kenaf bast was 578% and it was 95% higher than that of poplar sawdust's. This was caused by Kenaf's porous cellular structure. so it could give more moisture and oxygen to cultured mushroom. Total carbon contents of Kenaf was 91.4%, it was quite higher than that of poplar sawdust, wheat bran and rice bran. Total nitrogen content was 1.76% and C/N ratio was 51.9. The content of NFE(Nitrogen free extract) was 46.6% and it was similar with rice bran. Cellulose content was higher than poplar but lignin content was lower. specially hemicellulose and pectin complex which more digestible carbon source to mushroom was 3.7% higher than poplar. Mineral component and amino acid contents were also maintained high compared with poplar. Fe was 4.2 times, P 3.2 times, K 2.2 times more and Ca was higher 16 mg/kg than poplar. The content of amino acid was quite more higher than poplar sawdust but lower than chaff. Consequently Kenaf had a good trait for basic support material in mushroom culture media and also had a good character as nutritional source.

Versatile Video Coding (VVC) is a new video coding standard that is being developed by the Joint Video Experts Team of ISO/IEC/ITU-T and it has adopted various technologies including screen content coding tools. Screen contents have a feature that blocks are likely to have diagonal edges like character regions. If triangular partitioning coding is allowed for screen contents having such the feature, coding efficiency would increase. This paper proposes a intra prediction method using triangular partitioning prediction for screen content coding. Similar to the Triangular Prediction Mode of VVC that supports the triangular partitioning prediction, the proposed method derives two prediction blocks using Horizontal and Vertical modes and then it blends the predicted blocks applying masks with triangle shape to generate a final prediction block. The experimental results of the proposed method showed an average of 1.86%, 1.49%, and 1.55% coding efficiency in YUV, respectively, for VVC screen content test sequences.

The purpose of this study is to find out problems through looking into the actual condition of management and the extent of application in cooking practice in High School Home Economics Education, and as a practical subject, to present some basic materials to contribute to accomplishing the object of High School Home Economics Education through trying to find a direction to enhance educational value. The contents of this study are these ： to study with a theoretical background character, object, and contents of Home Economics referring to related books and to investigate the actual condition of management, the extent of application to life of cooking practice unit, and standard of recognition of students and teachers about this subject and to find out rational and efficient method of management. 552 girl students and 72 home economics teachers in cities and counties in Kangwon-do were asked to answer the answer-sheet prepared. The result of this study is summerized as follows. 1. Most of the respondent regard the characters and objects of Home Economics as a matter of basic education, education for life, and education for the wholeman, but they neglect the aspect of education for a course of this subject. 2. Among the contents of Home Economics, students are much interested in the Unit of preparing table, especially in cooking. Most of the teachers teach the cooking unit with only explanation without practice because of the lack of material and human resources. 3. Students have desire to do cooking practice, but the extent of application of their real life appears to be low. 4. It appears to be necessary that boy students as well as girl students should learn Home Economics as an education for preparation for managing housework. 5. Home Economics teachers are mostly satisfied with their teaching profession. But teachers who have been teaching for 3 or 5 years appear not to be satisfied with it. 6. Although Home Economics teachers can teach Cooking practice Unit with confidence, they usually do it with theory rater than with practice, and they evaluate it after practicing, but most of them do not add the result to the student’s grade. 7. They use most of the cookers fixed on the standard list of High School Cooking Practice appliances, but they seldom use electric heating cookers.
