탄소저감형 다차원 도로선형설계를 위한 솔루션 알고리즘 개발 (Development of Solution Algorithm for Multi-dimention Road Alignment Design Considering Low-Carbon)

  • Government efforts for green growth policy initiatives demand low-carbon technologies in the road construction industry. The purpose of this paper is to develop an algorithm of a road alignment design solution for establishing the multi-dimensional information, and to calculate carbon emission quantity due to the geometric design elements in the planning phase of road alignment. The paper developed a calculation method for carbon emission quantity by drawing a speed profile reflected in the operating speed, acceleration and deceleration, which are majors factor of carbon emissions while driving and by applying a carbon emission factor. From this effort, it enabled alignment planning to reduce carbon emission. Object-based parametric design methods of the cross-sections were proposed for alignment planning, and the paper demonstrated a BIM-based road alignment planning solution. The proposed solutions can provide multi-dimensional information on carbon emission quantity and cross section elements through driving simulation. It is expected to allow construction of eco-friendly roads by deriving optimal road alignment to minimize environmental costs.

  • 국토해양부에서 2011년 시설물별 탄소배출량 산정가이드라인을 통해 제시한 토공장비의 $CO_2$ 배출계수는 IPCC 탄소배출계수를 활용하여 연료사용량을 기반으로 만들어졌다. 하지만 이 방식은 현장의 다양한 조건을 반영하지 못한다는 단점이 있다. 따라서 이러한 단점을 보완한 새로운 배출계수가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 토공장비를 대상으로 농도-유속측정(C-FVM)을 이용한 직접측정방식으로 $CO_2$ 배출량을 산정하고, 국토해양부에서 제시한 배출계수와 비교분석 후 토공장비의 새로운 $CO_2$ 배출계수를 제시하고자 한다.

The Influence of Industrial Structure Upgrading on Carbon Emission Efficiency in China

  • Purpose - The industrial structure upgrading can play an important role in promoting the carbon emission efficiency. Thus, this paper attempts to study the impact of industrial structure upgrading on carbon emission efficiency in order to reduce carbon emissions. Research design, data, and methodology - This paper selects panel data of 30 provinces and municipalities (autonomous regions) in China from 2001 to 2016, and divides them into three regions. The Moore index is used to measure the industrial structure upgrading, the non-radial SBM model based on undesired output is used to measure the slack variable to calculate the total factor carbon emission efficiency. Finally the impact of industrial structure upgrading on the carbon emission efficiency are analyzed. Results - It is found that the Moore index and the carbon emission efficiency in the eastern region is the highest in the three regions. Conclusions - The influence of various influencing factors on carbon emission efficiency is different between regions. The Moore index has a positive effect on the carbon emission efficiency in the eastern region, and has a negative influence coefficient on the central region. The effect on the western region is not obvious.

국내 유연탄의 발열량 추이 분석(2010~2014년) 및 탄소배출계수 개발 (Domestic Bituminous Coal's Calorific Value Trend Analysis (2010~2014) and Carbon Emission Factor Development)

  • Korea's energy consumption has been constantly increasing. Final energy consumption was increased by an annual average of 2.9% compared to 2010. The consumption of all energy sources except for its oil was increased during the same time. While electric demand has increased coal consumption increased rapidly. Therefore, calorfic value and carbon emission factor development can improve the quality of Korea's greenhouse gas inventory. Calorific value is the amount of heat generated while burning coal. Caloric value is one of the most important factors in the development of carbon emission factors. Calorific value is used as the basis for the analysis of the various energy statistics. This study has calculated the other bituminous coal and coking coal's calorfic value by the data received from domestic coal-fired power plants and steel manufacturer. Calorofic value's trend analysis period is the year of 2010~2014. Through analyzing the carbon content it was calculated the carbon emission factor. The bituminous coal and coking coal's uncertainty analysis was performed using a Monte Carlo simulation.

국내 활엽수종의 탄소배출계수 개발 및 적용 - 아까시나무, 자작나무, 백합나무를 대상으로 - (Application and Development of Carbon Emissions Factors for Deciduous Species in Republic of Korea - Robinia pseudoacacia, Betula platyphylla, and Liriodendron tulipifera -)

  • According to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), all parties have to submit the national GHG inventory report. Estimating carbon stocks and changes in Land Use, Land-Use Changes and Forestry (LULUCF) needs an activity data and emission factors. So this study was conducted to develop carbon emission factor for Robinia pseudoacacia L., Betula platyphylla var. japonica, and Liriodendron tulipifera. As a result, the basic wood density ($g/cm_3$) was 0.64 for R. pseudoacacia, 0.55 for B. platyphylla, and 0.46 for L. tulipifera. Biomass expansion factor was 1.47 for R. pseudoacacia, 1.30 for B. platyphylla, and 1.24 for L. tulipifera. Root to shoot ratio was 0.48 for R. pseudoacacia, 0.29 for B. platyphylla, and 0.23 for L. tulipifera. Uncertainty of estimated emission factors on three species ranged from 3.39% to 27.43% within recommended value (30%) by IPCC. We calculated carbon stock and change using these emission factors. Three species stored carbon in forest and net $CO_2$ removal was $1,255,398\;t\;CO_2/yr$ during 5 years. So we concluded that our result could be used as emission factors for national GHG inventory report on forest sector.

  • We investigated the field emission of single carbon nanotube including the anode effect by calculating the tunneling probability of an electron. The experimental results from this study were in agreement with our theoretical calculations. The constant enhancement factor was calculated using an approximation of the potential barrier.

지자체 단위의 GIS기반 탄소발생량 추정 (GIS based Estimation of Carbon Emission for a Local Government Unit)

  • 저탄소 녹색성장은 국내외적으로 중요한 이슈가 되고 있으며, 중앙정부 및 각 지자체별로 기본계획 및 데이터베이스를 구축하고 다양한 관련 연구를 진행중이다. 이러한 관점에서 지자체의 탄소배출량 및 탄소흡수량을 계산한 탄소배출총량은 향후 도시계획 및 관리에 있어 중요한 요소가 될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 경기도를 대상으로 통계자료 및 수치임상도를 이용하여 탄소발생총량을 산출하고 탄소발생환경을 분석해 보았으며, 그 결과 산림면적이 넓고 탄소흡수율이 우수한 품종을 많이 보유한 가평군, 양평군, 연천군, 과천시, 동두천시, 여주군 등의 탄소발생총량이 비교적 적은 것으로 분석되었다. 향후 주기적인 연차별 데이터베이스 구축을 위해서는 위성영상 등을 이용한 탄소흡수량 추정 등이 필요하며, 이러한 기반 자료들은 저탄소 녹색성장을 위한 정책기반자료로서 활용가능할 것이다.

국내 석유계 에너지원의 열량 및 탄소배출계수 변화 특성 연구 (Study on Characteristics of Change in Calorific Value and Carbon Emission Factor of Domestic Petroleum Energy Source)

  • 국가 온실가스 인벤토리를 Tier 2 이상의 수준으로 향상시키기 위해서는 IPCC 기본값 대신 국가 고유의 배출계수가 개발 및 이용되어야 한다. 국가 고유 배출계수는 에너지원 종류, 에너지 공정, 시간 추세에 따라 달라지기 때문에, 각 에너지원별 특성값을 파악하는 것은 정확한 인벤토리 구축에 중요한 부분을 차지한다. 국내 석유계 에너지원의 물성은 시간의 경과에 따라 큰 변화는 없었으며, 국내에서 고시되고 있는 에너지원별 열량환산기준 상의 석유계 에너지원에 대한 열량 및 탄소배출계수를 2013년과 2016년에 실제 시료를 수집하여 발열량, 탄소함량 및 탄소배출계수를 산정한 결과값과의 비교분석에서는 대체적으로 일정한 값을 유지하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 석유계 에너지원별로 산출된 순발열량과 탄소배출계수는 2006 IPCC Guideline에 나타낸 값들과 비교하였으며, 대부분의 에너지원이 2006 IPCC G/L의 기본값 및 상한, 하한 범위내의 값을 나타내었다.

CVD법으로 제조한 탄소 나노튜브의 전계 전자 방출 특성 (Properties of Field Emission Electrons for CVD-grown Carbon Nanotubes)

  • The microstructure and field emission properties of carbon nanotubes(CNT) grown by Ni-catalytic chemical vapor deposition(CVD) were investigated. CVD-grown CNT had a high density of curved shape with randomly oriented. It was found that an increase in electric field caused an increase in field emission current and field emission sites of CNT. The maximum field emission current density was measured to be 3.6 ㎃/$\textrm{cm}^2$ at 2.5 V/$\mu\textrm{m}$, while the brightness of 56 cd/$\textrm{cm}^2$ was observed for the CNT-grown area of 0.8 $\textrm{cm}^2$ from a phosphor screen. Field emission current at constant electric field gradually decreased initially and then stabilized with time.
