  • Reverse engineering is an emerging technology to obtain CAD models from existing physical parts in the case that CAD models are not available or paras are changed an(1 modified so that new CAD models for final parts are necessary. Reverse engineering helps designers to quickly generate computer interpretable data from existing Physical objects So it is applying for field of Rapid Prototyping NC Processing CAE, Inspection and so on. The objective of this study is to develop the software that deals with unorganized point data and quickly obtains CAD model. In this paper, several models such as human\`s bone, car, are experimented by the proposed methods.

  • This paper presents development of ROV-type underwater robot capable of cleaning ship hull in automatic mode. The purpose of developing this robot is for underwater cleaning to secure the safety of divers who inspect and clean the ship hull. The robot consists of the cleaning system with rotating brush mechanism, a car-like driving mechanism, inspection system using video, and overall control system for underwater communication and operation. In this paper, we present overall design process of the cleaning system and operating system and technical contents of the overall control system for the underwater cleaning robot.

  • In this paper, we carried out investigation of monitoring algorithm development for examination of inverter system. For transmiting data, RS-422C is adopted. The LabWindows/CVI development tool of National Instruments Co. is used for the formation of monitoring screen. The experimental set-up is composed of a PC to PC system. It is applicable to electric car inspection and repair.

A drive-by inspection system via vehicle moving force identification

  • This paper presents a novel method to carry out monitoring of transport infrastructure such as pavements and bridges through the analysis of vehicle accelerations. An algorithm is developed for the identification of dynamic vehicle-bridge interaction forces using the vehicle response. Moving force identification theory is applied to a vehicle model in order to identify these dynamic forces between the vehicle and the road and/or bridge. A coupled half-car vehicle-bridge interaction model is used in theoretical simulations to test the effectiveness of the approach in identifying the forces. The potential of the method to identify the global bending stiffness of the bridge and to predict the pavement roughness is presented. The method is tested for a range of bridge spans using theoretical simulations and the influences of road roughness and signal noise on the accuracy of the results are investigated.

국내 교체용 타이어 수입실태 및 품질 성능 평가 (Investigation of Market Status of Imported Tires and Quality Evaluation)

  • In domestic replacement tire market, imported tires are increasing condinuously. Because there is no institute officially investigating tire safety and performance, domestic drivers can be exposed to defective tires with no regulations. In this study we performed investigation of replacement tire market status and amount of imported tires. Over $90\%$ of imported tires are for passenger car and the number of total imported tires is increasing in recent years. Low price tires imported from Southeast Asia and China are selected to evaluate quality level. Basic inspection, indoor test, outdoor test, material test are conducted to evaluate the selected tires and compared with tires of domestic maker. From test results quality level of the selected tires could be found.

SVM 학습 알고리즘을 이용한 자동차 썬루프 장치의 볼트 유무 검사 장비 (A Machine Vision System for Inspection of Car Sunroof Using SVM Algorithm)

  • 본 논문은 SVM(Support Vector Machine) 학습알고리즘을 이용하여 자동차 썬루프 장치의 볼트 유무를 검사하는 자동차 부품 검사 장비에 관한 것이다. 자동화 시스템은 높은 정밀도와 생산성을 위한 빠른 처리 속도를 요구한다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 선형 SVM 학습알고리즘을 활용하여 자동차 썬루프 장치의 볼트 유무를 검사하는 알고리즘을 개발하였다. SVM 알고리즘은 분류를 위한 알고리즘이지만 ROI(Region-Of-Interest) 내의 모든 윈도우에 대한 분류를 수행하여 검출기 역할을 할 수 있도록 한다. 볼트가 있는 경우와 볼트가 없는 경우가 아닌 네거티브 샘플을 확보하기 위해 검출 대상 물체 주변에서 다양한 네거티브 샘플들을 추출한다. 그 결과 물체가 예상 위치에서 다소 빗나가는 경우에도 볼트 유무를 판별할 수 있을 뿐 아니라 볼트의 위치까지 검출할 수 있고, 처리 속도에서 자동화 시스템이 요구하는 수준에 도달함을 실험 결과를 통해 검증한다.

LPG 자동차의 긴급차단밸브 기상필터막힘, 솔레노이드밸브 조립부손상, LPG 스위치 커넥터 핀 접촉불량에 관련된 고장사례 연구 (Study for Failure Examples Including with Gas filter Clogging of Emergency Cutting Valve, Assemblying Part Damage of Solenoid Valve, Contact Damage of LPG Switch Connector Fin in a LPG Car)

  • 이 논문은 LPG 자동차 엔진의 시동불량현상을 조사하고 분석한 연구이다. 첫 번째 사례는 긴급차단 밸브를 점검한 결과 밸브의 기상측에 미세한 이물질에 의해 필터 막힘으로 인해 연료공급이 안 되는 현상을 확인하였다. 두 번째 사례는 액·기상 솔레노이드 밸브의 초기 작동시 연료의 누설에 영향이 없었으나, 시간이 지나면서 솔레노이드 조립부의 손상부가 내구성이 떨어져 LPG 가스의 누설이 진행되어 연소실로 공급되는 연료의 공급이 제대로 되지 않아 자동차의 시동꺼짐 현상이 발생된 것을 확인하였다. 세 번째 사례는 EGR 10A 퓨즈와 LPG 스위치 사이의 커넥터 핀이 장력불량에 의한 접촉불량으로 과열이 발생되어 소손된 것을 확인하였다. 따라서, 자동차의 시동성에 대단히 예민한 전기적인 문제가 발생하지 않도록 자동차의 관련시스템을 사전에 철저하게 점검하고 이를 관리하여야 할 것으로 판단된다.

  • In general, auto parts production assembly line is assembled and produced by automatic mounting by an automated robot. In such a production site, quality problems such as misalignment of parts (doors, trunks, roofs, etc.) to be assembled with the vehicle body or collision between assembly robots and components are often caused. In order to solve such a problem, the quality of parts is manually inspected by using mechanical jig devices outside the automated production line. Automotive inspection technology is the most commonly used field of vision, which includes surface inspection such as mounting hole spacing and defect detection, body panel dents and bends. It is used for guiding, providing location information to the robot controller to adjust the robot's path to improve process productivity and manufacturing flexibility. The most difficult weighing and measuring technology is to calibrate the surface analysis and position and characteristics between parts by storing images of the part to be measured that enters the camera's field of view mounted on the side or top of the part. The problem of the machine vision device applied to the automobile production line is that the lighting conditions inside the factory are severely changed due to various weather changes such as morning-evening, rainy days and sunny days through the exterior window of the assembly production plant. In addition, since the material of the vehicle body parts is a steel sheet, the reflection of light is very severe, which causes a problem in that the quality of the captured image is greatly changed even with a small light change. In this study, the distance between the car body and the door part and the door are acquired by the measuring device combining the laser slit light source and the LED pattern light source. The result is transferred to the joint robot for assembling parts at the optimum position between parts, and the assembly is done at the optimal position by changing the angle and step.

  • 차량 운전자는 안전을 위해 항상 자신의 차량의 상태를 점검하고 파악하는 것이 필수이다. 하지만 운전자가 차량의 상태를 알고자 한다면 전문 업체에게 의뢰하기 때문에 운전자는 시간과 금전적인 비용이 지불되어야 한다. IT 기술의 발달로 인해 스마트폰의 다양한 기능을 이용하여 차량의 상태 점검을 할 수 있게 되었지만, 기존 스마트폰 자동차 진단 시스템은 자동차의 전문적인 지식을 학습해야 차량 상태를 알 수 있기 때문에 사용자들에게 진단기의 필요성이 부각되지 않는다. 본 논문에서는 OBD-II 프로토콜 변환 WiFi 커넥터를 통해 받아오는 OBD-II 정보를 차량 운전자에게 필요한 차량 소모품 교체 주기의 점검, 차량 문제점 진단 정보를 사용자에게 실시간으로 보여주며 손쉽게 사용할 수 있는 자동차 소모품 구현을 iPhone에서 구현 하였다.

  • Measurements of the automobile manufacturers are available anywhere and anytime, directly based on the criterion of failure is measured. The maintenance of high-precision production activities is direct evidence of the fact that competitive manufacturing activities are very important in determining the success of companies to recall defective starting from raw material costs. The current manufacturing sites produce calipers and clearance gauge the degree of tool only specific. Therefore, judging the quality, including the number of errors, requires a lot of attention to the dimension failures in day-to-day measurements and measurement tasks and duties repeated in difficult situations. In this paper, we aim to develop a vehicle manufacturing plant site using each of the manufacturing processes while operating a measurement tool. We display it using the Image Processing PC-based S/W with all those visual facts by management and recorded as image information a more accurate and current situation to obtain information and share visual measurements. We carry out research on the design and development vision inspection algorithm applied for pattern-recognition techniques that can help manufacturing site quality control.
