Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the psychometric properties of the Korean version of the Alzheimer's Disease Knowledge Scale (ADKS-K) to determine its applicability to Korean adults. Methods: Cross-cultural validity was performed according to Consensus-based Standards for the Selection of Health Measurement Instruments (COSMIN). The Kuder-Richardson Formula 20 for internal consistency and Intraclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC) for test-retest reliability were conducted. Content validity, criterion related validity and construct validity were evaluated. The Classical Test Theory (CTT) model and the Item Response Theory (IRT) model were applied in performing the item analysis. Results: The KR 20 was .71, and the ICC was .90, indicating that the ADKS-K has internal consistency and stability reliability. Thirty items of the ADKS-K had significant Content Validity Ratio (CVR) values, i.e., mean of 0.82 and range of 0.60~1.00. Mean item difficulty and discrimination indices calculated by TestAn program were 0.63 and 0.23, respectively. Mean item difficulty and discrimination indices calculated by BayesiAn program were -0.60 and 0.77, respectively. These tests indicate that ADKS-K has an acceptable level of difficulty and discriminating efficiency. Conclusion: Results suggest that ADKS-K has the potential to be a proper instrument for assessing AD knowledge in Korean adults.
Purpose The objective of this study is to determine the programming language for improving algorithmic thinking of basic software education for non-majors, which has recently been receiving attention to nurture talents needed in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Design/methodology/approach In this study, Delphi method was used to select the suitable programming language for the features of each of five departments for basic software education for non-majors in order to develop the capability of algorithmic thinking. The survey was conducted three times to 21 experts, and the results were analyzed using quantitative analysis (CVR) values and stability. Findings For the most suitable programming language for each department determined in this study, App Inventor was selected for humanities department, RUR-PLE for natural science department, App Inventor for social science department, Python for engineering department, and Scratch for fine arts department. This is expected to be used as the basis for determining the direction of curriculum and operation of universities starting basic software education through programming language by department proposed in this study.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to verify the validity and reliability of the Korean version of the Pain in Older Adults Knowledge Survey (K-POAKS) to assess knowledge of pain in older adults including people with dementia for use in long-term care hospital nurses. Methods: Survey data were collected from a convenience sample of 179 nurses who have worked in long-term care hospitals in B, D and U cities. The Kuder-Richardson Formula 20 for internal consistency for test reliability was conducted. The content, criterion-related and construct validity were evaluated using SPSS/WIN 22.0. Results: The KR 20 was .75 and Content Validity Ratio (CVR) was a range of 0.84~1.00. The criterion-related validity was positively correlated with attitudes (r=.28, p<.001) and performance (r=.21, p=.004). The construct validity of K-POAKS was analyzed by conducting the principal component method using the exploratory factor analysis varimax rotation, and seven factors were derived above the eigenvalue of 1.0. The seven factors explained 58.5% of the total variation. Conclusion: The Korean version of the POAKS showed satisfactory internal reliability, content validity, criterion-related validity and construct validity. These results suggest that the K-POAKS could be used as a suitable tool to measure the knowledge of the aged people's pain, including that of dementia patients for long-term care hospital nurses.

The purpose of this study is to develop competitiveness evaluation index for global aviation training organizations. Research and studies on relevant documents were conducted to establish the index. With no sufficient study results previously done directly associated with global aviation training organization, relevant and related documents, such as studies on competitiveness evaluation index of higher educational institutions, were reviewed as an alternative. Two rounds of delphi surveys were conducted based on the review and consultation from experts in aviation training and human resource management fields. First round of survey with 62 evaluation indices were carried out, through which a total of 29 were selected, and 19 indices were chosen during the second round of survey. However, factor analysis was conducted in order to justify the survey result, which eliminated 3 more indices, with 16 finally selected. This study will provide implications for aviation training organizations which need to further improve their competitiveness globally.
The purpose of this study was to develop a high school home economics financial consumer education program based on backward design and validation by experts. The program was designed and developed by first selecting learning content elements through a review of existing research and an analysis of relevant literature. The next step was to categorize these elements into seven themes and apply the backward design instructional design model 2.0. The program was prepared in the form of a 21st teaching-learning course plan and workbook and was verified by nine home economics teachers with working experience in high school. The evaluation revealed that the average value for all questions was 3.81 (out of 4 points) and the CVR was .99, indicating that the program was valid. In addition, positive evaluations were received in terms of learning goals, content level, and learner participation by class. This study has significance in that a systematic financial consumer education program was developed by Education of Home Economics to improve the financial literacy of high school students. It can therefore be used as an elective course (mini-course) in Home Economics in the high school credit system. A follow-up study will be required to assess the improvement in financial literacy after implementing this program.
This study aimed to identify challenges faced by occupational health and safety education institutions to derive and propose methods of improving occupational health and safety education. To achieve this, 13 personnel responsible for occupational health and safety education institutions were interviewed, resulting in the identification of 14 areas for improvement. Consequently, a survey was developed and conducted among 107 individuals from 195 occupational health and safety education institutions. The priorities of the 14 items were analyzed using methods such as the content validity ratio (CVR), paired t-test, locus for focus model, Borich's needs assessment, and effect size (Cohen's d). The research results highlighted significant challenges, including the importance of mitigating abnormal competition among occupational health and safety education institutions, improving awareness among employers and workers regarding the importance of occupational health and safety education, and developing programs that satisfy customer demands.

Recently, due to external environment like the changes in health policy and various healthcare accreditations, along with hospital's internal efforts to improve the quality of medical services, demands for the development of medical information systems are increasing. Some examples are clinical information like DUR (Drug Utilization Review), CVR (Critical Value Report), and automatic benefit processing by treatment purposes, or hospital DSS (Decision Support System) on overall medical practice. Such systems act as a guide in making clinic judgments during practice or in other medical practice, and their effects on the medical treatment improvements are being proven by previous studies. In the reality of increasing attention in the effects of medical treatment improvement, studies related to hospital DDS were mostly focused on clinical, technical, and engineering points of view, and studies focusing on the user viewpoint are very limited. In order to verify the effects of DSS on practice improvements and hospital's management performance, this study used a research model constructed to verify how SERVQUAL of hospital DSS affects hospital management performance in BSC (Balanced Score Card) point of view. To empirically verify the research model, a questionnaire was conducted on the basis of "K-University Hospital's DSS" on clinicians and hospital employees related to system development, and the relationships between the factors were analyzed through path analysis. As a result of path analysis, excluding reactivity, tangibility, confidence, reliability, empathy among service qualities, had partially significant effects on management performance factors (learning and growth, internal process, financial affairs). This study is to prepare the theoretical ground on the management performance analysis of hospital DSS, and suggest the service quality of the system that should be considered in the planning and development stages for improved system.
The purpose of this study was to develop and present the accreditation criteria for engineering technology education programs in junior colleges. Research methods used in this study were review of related literature, experts discussion, and Delphi technique. Especially, Delphi technique was the major research method of this study. The Delphi surveys were taken for about seven weeks and three rounds at a higher level of expert participation. Major results of the study were as follows: 1. It proved that thirty six of total forty items had the content validity as the accreditation criteria of engineering technology education programs for junior colleges. CVR(Content Validity Ratio) of four items were below .33 and eliminated four items from the final accreditation criteria. 2. It proved that total Cronbach ${\alpha}$ was very high .9142 and reliability was very high all over items. It proved that six items made worse reliability, therefore it was desirable to exclude six items for increase of reliability. But the final accreditation criteria included six items, because they had a high validity as well as increasing rate of Cronbach ${\alpha}$ was very low with the exception of them. 3. Items of high importance were drawn out through analysis of importance. It proved that thirty of total forty items were more than 4.00 average in importance and ten items were less than average. 4. In conclusion, the final accreditation criteria were developed and presented through such analysis of validity, reliability and importance. The final accreditation criteria for engineering technology education programs in junior colleges were composed of seven domains of educational objectives, learning outcomes, curriculum, staff, facilities, institutional support, and student assessment.
The purpose of this study was to develop the Meta-Evaluation Criteria which can comprehensively and systematically evaluate and improve the Accreditation Evaluation System for Engineering Education. This will provide useful implications for establishing value, direction, and improvement remedy for Engineering Educations Accreditation System of Korea. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, Meta-Evaluation Criteria was developed to comprehensively and systematically assess and analyze the Accreditation Evaluation System of Engineering Education. The research methodology used to study these subjects: literature review, interviews with experts, Delphi survey (three times), survey, analysis of narrative opinion and secondary source. The results and conclusions of this study can be summarized as follows: First, the final Meta-Evaluation Criteria were developed so as to comprehensively and systematically assess and analyze the Accreditation Evaluation System of Engineering Education. The criteria's validity and reliability were also identified. Specific details are as follows: In a draft plan of the Meta-Evaluation Criteria, Meta-Evaluation concept was defined as evaluation on the whole range of Accreditation Evaluation System of Engineering Education. Meta-Evaluation Criteria was designed to be based on a systematic approach and applies the phased approach to the lower component to reflect evaluation's characteristics. Then validity and reliability of the developed draft plan was verified by calculating Content Validity Ratio (CVR), Degree of Consensus, Degree of Convergence and Cronbach's alpha. The final developed Meta-Evaluation Criteria obtaining validity and reliability were composed of 5 evaluation areas (environment, input, performance, result, utilization), 15 evaluation items, 68 evaluation indicators.

Strengthening the protection and management of very old trees is an important aspect of urban site preservation, urban design and construction. Rating various danger factors to evaluate the degree of danger posed can help to create the correct protective countermeasures. In order to develop the danger evaluation index, this study performed four round surveys by using the Delphi method and collected opinions from experts in related fields. Necessary indexes were fully added in the first and second round while the indexes falling beyond the guidelines were deleted. From the final analysis results, five areas derived a total of forty-one indicators to create a degree of danger index from vigour status, growth and development status, diseases and insect pests, soil status, and management status. The degree of danger evaluation index can provide basic data for the protection of very old trees.
