  • Almost all the mobile phone users already moved or are now moving away to smartphones for their various applications like games. If we are to speak about game applications, due to the performance limits of smartphones, 2D games are predominant over 3D games in every app. store. In this paper, we implement a 3D cube game application by porting an existing visual c++ irrlicht cube application to android platform library using the android Native Development Kit. After the porting is done, we add a few new features for more fun. Because the android NDK makes the existing C/C++ codes run directly on the android operating systems, we found by real execution tests that our 3D cube app. is well executed on a low-end android smartphone without any performance problem.

  • The electromigration phenomena and the characterizations of the conductor lifetime (Time-To-Failure, TTF) in Al-1%Si thin film interconnections under D.C. and Pulsed D.C. conditions were investigated . Meander type test patterns were fabricated with the dimensions of 21080$mu \textrm{m}$ length, 3$\mu\textrm{m}$ width, 0.7$\mu\textrm{m}$ thickness and the 0.1$\mu\textrm{m}$/0.8$\mu\textrm{m}$($SiO_2$/PSG)dielectric overlayer. The current densities of $2 \times10^6 A/\textrm{cm}^2$ and $1 \times10^7 A/\textrm{cm}^2$ were stressed in Al-1%Si thin film interconnection s under a D.C. condition. The peak current densities of $2 \times10^6 A/\textrm{cm}^2$ and $1 \times10^7 A/\textrm{cm}^2$ were also applied under a Pulsed D.C. condition at frequencies of 200KHz, 800KHz, 1MHz, and 4MHz with the duty factor of 0.5. THe time-to-failure under a Pulsed D.C.($TTF_{pulsed D.C}$) was appeared to be larger than that under a D.C. condition. It was found that the TTF under both a D.C. and a Pulsed D.C. condition. It was found that the TTF under both a D.C. and a Pulsed D.C. condition largely depends upon the appiled current densities respectively . This can be explained by a relaxation mechanism view due to a duty cycle under a Pulsed D.C. related to the wave on off. The relaxation phenomena during the pulsed off period result in the decayof excess vacancies generated in the Al-1%Si thin film interconnections because of the electrical and mechanical stress gradient . Hillocks and voids formed by an electromigration were observed by using a SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy).

  • This study examined the aerodynamic functions (mean airflow rate MFR, subglottal pressure Psub) and closed quotients (CQs) in the fixed pitch (C3, E3, G3, C4) with the variable loudness (70 and 80 dB) as well as in the fixed loudness at 70 dB and 80 dB with the variable pitch (C3, E3, G3, C4) in five classic male singers (Baritone). Results showed that MFR significantly increased at C3, E3, and G3 and Psub significantly increased at C4 when the loudness increased from 70 to 80 dB. At 70 dB, MFR and Psub significantly increased and CQ significantly decreased when the pitch increased from C3 to C4. At 80 dB, MFR significantly decreased when the pitch increased from C3 to G3. However, Psub showed the significant decrease with the pitch increased at 80 dB. In conclusion, as the loudness increases, the aerodynamic loss is getting higher and vocal efficiency becomes lower at low pitch than at higher pitch. At a low loudness level, the main mechanism to control loudness is the amount of medial compression of the vocal folds rather than the aerodynamic function. In addition, the aerodynamic function and medial compression of the vocal folds have a significant role in increasing the loudness level.

  • In a variety of animal species, the perinatal exposure of experimental animals to the 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzop-dioxin (TCDD) leads to the immune dysfunction, which is more severe and persistent than that caused by adult exposure. We report here the changes of gene expression and the identification of the marker-genes representing the dioxin exposure. The expressions of the transcripts were analyzed using the 11 K oligonucleotidemicroarray from the bone marrow cells of male C57BL/6J mice after an intraperitoneal injection of $1{\mu}g$ TCDD/kg body weight at various time intervals: gestational 6.5 day(G6.5), 13.5 day(G13.5), 18.5 day(G18.5), and postnatal 3 (P3W)and 6 week (P6W). The type of self-organizing maps(SOM) representing the specific exposure dioxin could be identified as follows; G6.5D(C14), G13.5D(C0, C5, C10, C18), G18.5D(7): P3W(C2, C21), and P6W(C4, C15, C20). The candidate marker-genes were restricted to the transcripts, which could be consistently expressed greater than $\pm$2-fold in three experiments. The resulting candidates were 85 genes, the characteristics of that were involved in cell physiology and cell functions such as cell proliferation and immune function. We identified the biomarker-genes for dioxin exposure: smc -like 2 from SOM C14 for the dioxin exposure at G6.5D, focal adhesion kinase and 6 other genes from C0, and protein tyrosine phosphatase 4a2 and 3 other genes from C5 for G13.5D, platelet factor 4 from C7 for G18.5D, fos from C2 for P3W.

  • In this study, impurity free V3.5+ electrolytes were prepared using formic acid as a reducing agent and PtD/C as a catalyst and it was applied to VRFB. The well-oriented 3D dendrite structure of the PtD/C catalyst showed high catalytic activity in formic acid oxidation reaction and vanadium reduction reaction. As a result, the conversion ratio of electrolyte using the PtD/C was 2.73 mol g-1 h-1, which was higher than that of 1.67 mol g-1 h-1 of Pt/C prepared by the polyol method. In addition, in the VRFB charging and discharging experiment, the V3.5+ electrolyte produced by the catalytic reaction showed the same performance as the standard V3.5+ electrolyte prepared by the electrolytic method, thus proving that it can be used as an electrolyte for VRFB.

  • Different versions of the boundary Schwarz lemma for the 𝒩 (𝜌) class are discussed in this study. Also, for the function g(z) = z+b2z2+b3z3+... defined in the unit disc D such that g ∈ 𝒩 (𝜌), we estimate a modulus of the angular derivative of g(z) function at the boundary point 1 ∈ 𝜕D with g'(1) = 1 + 𝜎 (1 - 𝜌), where ${\rho}={\frac{1}{n}}{\sum\limits_{i=1}^{n}}g(c_i)={\frac{g^{\prime}(c_1)+g^{\prime}(c_2)+{\ldots}+g^{\prime}(c_n)}{n}}{\in}g^{\prime}(D)$ and 𝜌≠1, 𝜎 > 1 and c1, c2, ..., cn ∈ 𝜕D. That is, we shall give an estimate below |g"(1)| according to the first nonzero Taylor coefficient of about two zeros, namely z = 0 and z ≠ 0. Estimating is made by using the arithmetic average of n different derivatives g'(c1), g'(c2), ..., g'(cn).

  • The anionic complexes, [ln($C_6F_5)_4$]-, which are thermal and moisture sensitive, have been prepared by the reaction of In($C_6F_5)_3{\cdot}D(D=CH_3CN$, O($C_2H_5)_2$) with the system ($CH_3)_3SiC_6F_5$/CsF, $C_6F_5$MgBr or Cd($C_6F_5)_2$. The stable anionic indium(III) complexes are obtained through cation exchange with PNPCI ([PNP]= bis(triphenylphosphino)ammonium). The pure substance is obtained by column chromatography. These new anionic complexes are unambiguously identifed by NMR-spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy, molecular weight, DTA/TG and elemental analysis.
