Let C[0, t] denote a generalized Wiener space, the space of real-valued continuous functions on the interval [0, t] and define a random vector $Z_n:C[0,t]{\rightarrow}{\mathbb{R}}^n$ by $Zn(x)=(\int_{0}^{t_1}h(s)dx(s),{\cdots},\int_{0}^{t_n}h(s)dx(s))$, where 0 < $t_1$ < ${\cdots}$ < $t_n$ < t is a partition of [0, t] and $h{\in}L_2[0,t]$ with $h{\neq}0$ a.e. In this paper we will introduce a simple formula for a generalized conditional Wiener integral on C[0, t] with the conditioning function $Z_n$ and then evaluate the generalized analytic conditional Wiener and Feynman integrals of the cylinder function $F(x)=f(\int_{0}^{t}e(s)dx(s))$ for $x{\in}C[0,t]$, where $f{\in}L_p(\mathbb{R})(1{\leq}p{\leq}{\infty})$ and e is a unit element in $L_2[0,t]$. Finally we express the generalized analytic conditional Feynman integral of F as two kinds of limits of non-conditional generalized Wiener integrals of polygonal functions and of cylinder functions using a change of scale transformation for which a normal density is the kernel. The choice of a complete orthonormal subset of $L_2[0,t]$ used in the transformation is independent of e and the conditioning function $Z_n$ does not contain the present positions of the generalized Wiener paths.

Triacsin C, an inhibitor of acyl-CoA synthetase, is known to have antiatherosclerotic and vasodilatory activities. The aims of this study were to evaluate the effects of triacsin C on endotoxin-induced (lipopolysaccharide, LPS) inflammation in 3T3-L1 adipocytes and also to evaluate its synergistic effect with triacsin C and resveratrol, a potent antiinflammatory agent. Exposure to LPS for 18 hr increased secretion of IL-6 into the culture medium and mRNA expression of IL-6, MCP-1, TLR and iNOS. Pretreatment of triacsin C for 2 hr suppressed IL-6 accumulation in the medium and the induction of IL-6 expression by LPS, which was more effective than resveratrol treatment. The synergistic effect of triacsin C and resveratrol was found to reduce the expression of iNOS by LPS. However, neither triacsin C nor resveratrol affected the LPS-induced expression of MCP-1, TLR or iNOS. These findings indicate that triacsin C may be a local regulator of inflammation in the adipocyte, although detailed mechanisms are needed to elucidate this through further research.

Define $X_n:C[0,t]{\rightarrow}\mathbb{R}^{n+1}$ by $Xn(x)=(x(t_0),x(t_1),{\cdots},x(t_n))$, where $0=t_0$ < $t_1$ < ${\cdots}$ < $t_n$ < $t$ is a partition of $[0,t]$. In the present paper, using a simple formula for the conditional expectation given the conditioning function $X_n$, we evaluate the $L_p(1{\leq}p{\leq}{\infty})$-analytic conditional Fourier-Feynman transform and the conditional convolution product of the cylinder functions which have the form $$f((v_1,x),{\cdots},(v_r,x))\;for\;x{\in}C[0,t]$$, where {$v_1,{\cdots},v_r$} is an orthonormal subset of $L_2[0,t]$ and $f{\in}L_p(\mathbb{R}^r)$. We then investigate several relationships between the conditional Fourier-Feynman transform and the conditional convolution product of the cylinder functions.

let E be a Finsler modules over $C^*$-algebras. A with norm-map $\rho$ and L(E) set of all A-linear bonded operators on E. We show that the canonical homomorphism ${\phi}:L(E){\rightarrow}L(E_I)$ sending each operator T to its restriction $T|E_I$ is injective if and only if I is an essential ideal in the underlying $C^*$-algebra A. We also show that $T{\in}L(E)$ is a bounded below if and only if ${\mid}{\mid}x{\mid}{\mid}={\mid}{\mid}{\rho}{\prime}(x){\mid}{\mid}$ is complete, where ${\rho}{\prime}(x)={\rho}(Tx)$ for all $x{\in}E$. Also, we give a necessary and sufficient condition for the equivalence of the norms generated by the norm map.

We consider a 1-dimensional reaction diffusion equation with the following boundary conditions arising in a theory of the thermal explosion {-u"(t) = λf(u(t)), t ∈ (0, l), -u'(0) + C(0)u(0) = 0, u'(l) + C(l)u(l) = 0, where C : [0, ∞) → (0, ∞) is a continuous and nondecreasing function, λ > 0 is a parameter and f : [0, ∞) → (0, ∞) is a continuous function. We establish the extension of Quadrature method introduced in [8]. Using this extension, we provide numerical results for models with a typical function of f and C in a thermal explosion theory, which verify the existence, uniqueness and multiplicity results proved in [6].

We define the spherical non-commutative torus $L_{\omega}$/ as the crossed product obtained by an iteration of l crossed products by actions of, the first action on C( $S^{2n＋l}$). Assume the fibres are isomorphic to the tensor product of a completely irrational non-commutative torus $A_{p}$ with a matrix algebra $M_{m}$ ( ) (m > 1). We prove that $L_{\omega}$/ $M_{p}$ (C) is not isomorphic to C(Prim( $L_{\omega}$/)) $A_{p}$ $M_{mp}$ (C), and that the tensor product of $L_{\omega}$/ with a UHF-algebra $M_{p{\infty}}$ of type $p^{\infty}$ is isomorphic to C(Prim( $L_{\omega}$/)) $A_{p}$ $M_{m}$ (C) $M_{p{\infty}}$ if and only if the set of prime factors of m is a subset of the set of prime factors of p. In this study, we examined the effects of Rubus crataegifolius leaf on the inhibition of differentiation and adipogenesis of 3T3-L1 preadipocytes to confirm their potential for use as an anti-obesity functional material. Rubus crataegifolius leaves water extracted using hot water were then concentrated for use, with an extract yield of 4.76%. The result of measuring the rate of 3T3-L1 cell survival of Rubus crataegifolius leaf extract (RCLE) showed growth inhibition of 13% at a concentration of 1,000 ㎍/mL. Thus, in this study, experiments were performed using RCLE treatment concentrations up to 500 ㎍/mL. Production of triglycedie in 3T3-L1 cells showed a dose-dependent decrease, and the rate of reduction was 28.7, 40.8, and 51.6% at concentrations of 100, 300, and 500 ㎍/mL, respectively, compared to the control group. In addition, the results confirmed that suppression of lipogenesis was achieved by suppressing the expression of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ (PPAR γ), CCAAT/enhancer-binding protein α (C/EBP α), sterol regulatory element-binding protein-1c (SREBP-1c), fatty acid synthase (FAS), acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACC), and increasing the expression of p-activated protein kinase (p-AMPK). Based on these results, it is believed that Rubus crataegifolius leaf extract can be used in the effort to manage obesity by regulating factors related to adipocyte differentiation and adipogenesis.

This study analyzed the range of motion of upper body in different configurations of firefighters' protective clothing and equipment. The purpose of this study was to understand the influence of firefighters' protective clothing and equipment over upper body motion in order to improve design of firefighters' protective clothing and equipment. 12 firefighters' upper body range of motion was analyzed while performing standing and walking trials in five different garment configurations including turnout ensemble, fire boots and the self-contained breathing apparatus. Analysis of upper body range of motion included spinal joints of L5S1, L4L3, T1C7, and C1Head. During standing trials, garment configurations caused a significant difference in range of motions at joints of L5S1, L4L3, T1C7, and C1Head. Analysis on the mean of range of motions at L5S1 and L4L3, showed that firefighters' waist bent forward significantly to a greater extent while they wore a self-contained breathing apparatus. A significantly increased range of motion was found for T1C7 and C1Head while carrying a self-contained breathing apparatus, which indicated an increase in the extension of the trunk and neck backward to stand upright and look squarely. A significant difference in range of motion was also found for L5S1 and L4L3 during walking trials.

L/C transaction, the most important issue for the seller and the buyer is the theory of documentary transaction and the theory of strict compliance which are the principles of L/C transactions. According to the leading cases in England and America where the practice of L/C transactions was created and developed, the descriptions of the commodities specified on all the documents which are submitted based on an L/C, should be identical to the descriptions of commodities specified in the L/C. And further, many leading cases of L/C continuously repeat to emphasize strict compliance. However, the recent leading cases in and out of the country show that the principle of strict compliance is being weakened. The leading cases in America show two trends of weakening the principle of strict compliance. That is, on the contrary to strict compliance, tends to apply substantial compliance (which puts more value on the substance of the documents). These leading cases reflect the attitudes of the judicial and the legislative authorization that don't want to approve formal approach to the commercial law. Recently, the Supreme Court of Korea is giving a decision on the principle of strict compliance, "The documents attached to an L/C should strictly comply with the conditions in the L/C, but it doesn't mean that they should be perfectly identical without any mistake in words. In case the bank can understand through reasonable care that a small mistake in words is too trivial to give different meaning or to give damage to the conditions of the L/C, the documents are regarded to comply with the conditions of the L/C. However, the judgment should be based on whether the difference between the documents and the L/C can be admitted by the international standard bank transaction practice or not." This decision tells that the principle of strict compliance is quite much modified so application of this modification can't be ignored. However, from the viewpoint of the party who requests to open an L/C, there is a criticism that a bank's arbitrary judgement can be involved. Therefore, reviewing the original purpose of L/C transactions (activating international transactions), the principle of strict compliance may be thought old-fashioned because it emphasizes a form, but in reality, for prompt transaction and payment, the principle of strict compliance should be observed in L/C transactions. And further, if a legislative device is prepared to systematically compensate for several side-effects, the principle of strict compliance will improve dynamic flow of prompt and low-costly L/C transactions. On the other hand, it will be able to protect the interested parties.
