An Empirical Study on Effect of Marketing Public Relation on Wechat Platform of China (중국 위챗 플랫폼의 MPR효과에 관한 실증연구)

  • Since its launch, WeChat has been changing the Chinese lifestyle, changing the traditional way of distribution, and changing the way companies market with the combination of information innovation and New Media. Now, WeChat plays an indispensable role in peopl's daily lives, not only in chatting software, but also in shopping, delivery, ordering, payment, and games. This study was centered on people who have used WeChat and around these backgrounds, planned study models. Through prior research, the purpose of the research is to explore the factors influencing the effects of the WeChat platform on MPR and explore the media effects of advertising attitude between WeChat platform features and MPR effects and provide basic material on its continued development. The research has shown that the reliability and diversity of the WeChat platform has a significant impact on both advertising attitude and purchase intention and propaganda intention of MPR effects. Advertising attitude has a positive impact on purchase intention and propaganda intention, and advertising attitude is shown to have a mediated effect between the WeChat platform and the MPR effects. The results of this study suggest the theoretical enlightenment of "continuous and stable development of the WeChat platform", and it is expected that marketing development plans of various social platforms will provide basic materials.

Analytical Framework for the Impact of Technical Change on Business Model Innovation (기술 변화의 영향을 고려한 비즈니스모델 혁신 분석 틀)

  • The paper proposes an analytical framework for the impact of technical change on business model innovation. Based upon the examination of the relationship between the mission of business and technology, it introduces classification of technology-based business models such as problem-solving model, production model and network model, respectively employing intensive technology, interlinked technology and mediating technology as a key technology. The discussion of various cases of business model innovation shows that the impact of digital technology is first translated into the value generation in terms of efficiency or effectiveness. These new values then enable a new business model which is based on a different key technology through business model shift, expansion, unbundling, or platform. Quite often those business model changes involves system-wide innovation. The framework for the analysis of the impact of technical change on business model innovation is presented with directions for future research.

  • Digital Social Innovation, social innovation utilizing digital technology, is gaining attenntion as an innovative new way of solving pressing social problems such as ageing, traffic, unemployment etc. while some raise concerns as to the negative impact of digital technology on society associated with Share-the-Scraps-economy and On-demand-economy. The paper aims to address these concerns by examining the nature and source of business values generated in digital social innovation. Donation, cooperation/solidarity and sharing are identified as sources of business value from social innovation. Digitization, Platform may present infrastructure upon which efficiency of economic transaction can be elevated. The participation of consumers/users in the value chain and value network enabled by digital technology is identified and discussed as the critical source of business value in digital social innovation. The business model of Docksan-dong Happy Parking Street living lab project is analysed to illuminate the realization of business vaules in real life setting. Policy recommendations and future research directions are suggested.

  • We proposed a B2B food distribution platform by transforming an established food distribution and management platform based on blockchain technology. Our proposed model introduced a method to bring innovation into the domestic B2B food distribution market and systematically manage and utilize massive data (country of origin, producer, transaction, distributor, final consumer) generated within the food distribution process.

  • As global competition of enterprises heats up recently, there is a growing the need to introduce business knowledge platform. Many enterprises work with other partners in a variety of situations and collaboration has emerged as new competitiveness of them. Collaboration improves the performance of members, and besides it has an important bearing on innovation, result, and increased productivity of enterprise. Lots of businesses, locally and abroad, extend the environment of collaboration and try to share business contents efficiently. In addition, they look into ways of invigorating collaboration by providing community tools. Corporations and Governments around the world are pushing smart work to respond effectively to this paradigm change. Smart work provides many types of collaboration and raises the productivity. Various infrastructures should be constructed for activating smart work. Most of all, core technology is to be developed. Virtual Cluster is the space of collaboration corresponding to change in business paradigm. In overseas policy of Virtual Cluster has been already enforced as an alternative to geographical cluster. The establishment and development of collaboration platform through Virtual Cluster can contribute to business competitiveness by smart work.

The Effects of User Experience-Based Design Innovativeness on User-Metaverse Platform Channel Relationships in South Korea

  • Purpose: The purpose of this research is that Metaverse platforms' UXBDI can be distinguished among Metaverse platform channel types. Metaverse platform represents a collective term signifying services that include augmented reality, lifelogging, mirror worlds, and virtual worlds. User Experience-Based Design Innovativeness (UXBDI) is characterized by novelty in product design and services that satisfy user experience. This study examined the effect of Metaverse platforms' UXBDI on user-Metaverse platform relationships. Research design, data and methodology: Metaverse platform users were selected as samples, and a marketing research institution known as a panel company conducted the survey. It used multiple regression to test the impact on platform identification and commitment based on a survey of 442 South Korean respondents. Results: The research confirmed that UXBDI sub-dimensional scales of attractiveness and interaction increased user-Metaverse platform identification and commitment. Also, a Metaverse platform identity increased user-Metaverse platform identification in virtual and mirror worlds. Conclusion: This study contributes to multiple academic fields. First, the UXBDI of Metaverse platforms appears to be a key component of ongoing user-Metaverse relationships. Second, UXBDI affects relationships differently based on the Metaverse platform type.

  • The prolonged untact era, which has continued since the end of 2019, further accelerated the spread of distribution platforms that provide cultural contents in digital form. Digital content distribution platforms are fiercely competing in the market as the central axis of cultural content planning, production and distribution. In this study, we apply the open innovation theory as a competitive element of digital content distribution platforms to assess whether competitiveness can be secured in terms of multilingualization of content.

Key Success Factors of Blockchain Platform for Micro-enterprises

  • The purposes of the study are threefold: (1) develop key successful factors of blockchain platform for micro-enterprises based on Balanced Scorecard (BSC), (2) find out the correlation between the key successful factors of blockchain platform for micro-enterprises, and (3) understand the perception of micro-enterprise blockchain and the difference between theoretical guidance and practical application. This study combines Interpretative Structural Modeling Method, (ISM) and Decision-Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) to analyze the causal relationships and hierarchical structures of the 12 key successful factors of blockchain platform for micro-enterprises and understand the correlation between factors. The 12 key successful factors developed based on the four perspectives of the Balanced Scorecard, and the questionnaire designs based on the concept of DEMATEL, and then analyzed data by DEMATEL and ISM methods to understand the correlation between key factors. The research results show that the key successful factors of blockchain platform for micro-enterprises include "brand equity", "security and anti-counterfeiting", "sales growth", "transparency and clear", "trust", "consensus mechanism", "traceability", "consistency", "tracking", "innovation management", "international", "organizational adaptation", in which consumer "trust" plays an important role. Micro-enterprises can use blockchain to expand the market, provide customers with better service quality, and bring sales growth to micro-enterprises.

  • Science and Technology Park (STP) is perceived to be a vehicle in promoting innovation-based economic growth within the framework of regional and national innovation systems. STP is a tool to encourage regional innovation and competitiveness in increasing contribution of science and technology in economic development. STP can also be a leading sector in creating conducive environment for local community's technopreneurship. In relation to the vision outlined in the 2025 Indonesian Master Plan of Acceleration and Expansion of Indonesia's Economic (MP3EI), STP is stated to be an important element in creating innovation within the framework of Special Economic Zone among six Economic Corridors. Hence, the government of Indonesia continues to encourage the development of STPs in Indonesia by involving local governments, universities, business players and stakeholders surround the area. Ultimately, STP is a platform in developing National Innovation System (NIS) and Regional Innovation System (RIS).

  • In the digital world, creative industries such as music, movies, and drama have been the most impacted by digital transformation. As these contents were converted to a digital format of 0s and 1s, the business model changed and so did the rules of competition in the market. Apple, Spotify, and Netflix were quick to ride the digital transformation wave to become market leaders in the creative industry. This study reviews case studies in the creative industry to grasp the important factors necessary for market restructuring using digital technology. It was found that companies that set visions, platform, and open innovation as business strategies were able to achieve critical mass and become market leaders. These three elements are commonly found in the contents industry. On the other hand, companies that did not embrace digital innovation have become victims of digital darwinism. By analysing the experience of digital product innovation through case studies in the creative industry, we can derive implications for digital transformation in the 4th industrial revolution.
