Virtuality is a product of the information age, and as it plays a larger role in the activities of individuals, groups and organizations, the issue of how human behavior varies between virtual and physical space has become one of the most important questions facing the management environment of today. The purpose of this article is to examine how virtuality shapes individuals' social relationships within and outside their work groups. We developed a conceptual framework that explores the links between virtuality and social network based on computer-mediated communication theory and social network theory. Using data from 172 individuals of 42 project teams in 5 global business consulting firms, we tested cross-level hypotheses. The results of hierarchical linear modeling (HLM) indicate that virtuality significantly influences individual's internal tie strength as well as external bridging ties. The results also show the effects of virtual process via CMC vary along with the virtual context.
Traditional intermediaries refer to service providers such as travel agents, real estate brokers, job agencies and insurance agents which matching services for buyers and suppliers in a traditional market. The introduction of Electronic commerce resulted in the automation of many tasks provided by intermediaries and seemed to eliminate the role of many traditional intermediaries, which is called disintermediation. However, depending on their market power, traditional intermediaries either will be disintermediated or fill new roles by providing added value and assistance, which is called reintermediation. According to the research of Alina M. Chircu et al. there are three conditions for reintermediation for traditional intermediaries. Three conditions are weak appropriability of EC innovations, ownership of co-specialized assets for both market intermediation and EC innovations and economies of scale. Besides these three reintermediation conditions, we hypothesize that leveraging BPO can be a suitable strategy for traditional intermediaries to be transformed into reintermediaries. Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) is the leveraging of technology or specialist process vendors to provide and manage an organization's critical and/or non-critical enterprise processes and applications. This paper will investigate the relationship between above reintermediation conditions including BPO and reintermediation.

In a recent study, the phenomena of attention being drawn to the media business, particularly over-the-top (OTT) services, was the focus. Particularly, after the Squid Game was broadcast in September 2021, the total number of Netflix users had topped 213.6 million since the company first entered the domestic market. Domestic companies have also introduced OTT services like 'Wave', 'Tving', and 'Watcha Play' to capitalize on this market trend. However, questions persist about how Korea's native OTT providers, both large and small, are being harmed by Netflix's strong financial position and massive content quantity. In order to offer realistic performance metrics, we analyze Coupang Play among domestic OTT service providers after reviewing the business model and management strategy of representative OTT service firms.

Drawing upon the Health Belief Model (HBM), this study seeks to gain insights into the decisionmaking processes underlying preventive behavior within this specific population. A comprehensive online survey was conducted among 364 foreigners. An analysis revealed that perceived barriers and perceived benefits played crucial roles as mediators, mediating the relationship between the examined factors and preventive behavior. The insights gained from this study have implications for public health interventions and self-preventive product businesses aiming to promote and sustain self-preventive behavior practices among foreigners residing in Korea, even after all COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted.
