보육교사의 소진에 영향을 주는 변인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Factors of Child Care Teachers' Burnout)

  • The purpose of the present study was to examine the factors on child care teachers' burnout. For this purpose, degrees of child care teachers' overall burnout, job satisfaction, and job environments were examined. Also, child care teachers' burnout was examined depending on their personal factors, job satisfaction, and job environment. Finally, the relative power of the three factors were examined. A survey was administered to 184 child care teachers in Seoul and Kyonggi areas to investigate their degrees of burnout, job satisfaction, and job environment. Maslach Burnout Inventory(Maslach and Jackson, 1986) and questionnaires on job satisfaction and job environmen were used. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and multiple regression using SPSS+12 version. Major findings are as follows: Child care teacher's overall degrees of burnout is not so high and different on their personal factors such as age, educational level, and career, and job satisfaction and job environment. The most powerful factor on their burnout was their demographic factors.

직무요구와 직무자원이 직무탈진에 미치는 영향 - 일반 사무직과 서비스직의 비교 (The Effects of Job Demands and Job Resources on Job Burnout - A Comparison of office workers with service employees.)

  • Recently firms become largely changed because of rapid technological innovation and serious global competition. It induces job stress of workers and finally leads to job burnout. This study aims to find the effects of job demands and job resources on job burnout. Job demands contains role ambiguity, role conflict, role overload and job characteristics. Job resources contains job control and feedback, involvement in decision making, learning opportunity and social support. The result reveals that job demands raises job burnout and job resources decreases job burnout. And it reveals that the effects of job demands and job resources on job burnout differs slightly according to job categories.

일부 치과위생사의 감정노동과 직무소진과의 관련성: 직무스트레스의 매개효과를 중심으로 (Relationship between emotional labor and burnout among dental hygienists)

  • Objectives: The purposes of this study is to examine the relationship between emotional labor and burnout among dental hygienists. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 247 dental hygienists from September 4 to October 9, 2014. The questionnaire consisted of emotional labor, job burnout, and job stress. Emotional labor included frequency of emotional expression, compliance with emotional regulation, emotional diversity, and emotional dissonance by the instrument pf Morris and Feldman. Job burnout was adopted from Maslach burnout inventory(MBI). Job stress was adpoted from instrument of Chang. Except 13 incomplete answers, 234 data were analyzed by AMOS 18.0 and SPSS 18.0 program. Results: The emotional labor has a significant positive relation to the job burnout. There was a statistical significance between emotional labor and job stress. Job stress had a positive relation to job burnout. Job stress had a mediating effect between emotional labor and job burnout. Emotional labor had a direct effect on the job burnout. Job stress also had a mediating effect on job burnout. Conclusions: It is necessary to improve working environment that can enhance emotional balance and to develop job stress management program.

보건소 종사자의 감정노동과 직무소진이 조직유효성에 미치는 영향 (Relationships among Emotional Labor, Burnout, and Organizational Effectiveness of Employees in Public Health Centers)

  • Purpose: This study examines the relationship among emotional labor, job burnout and organizational effectiveness of public healthcare center workers. In specific, authors focus on the relationships between emotional labor and job burnout and the one between job burnout and organizational effectiveness and mediating effect of job burnout between emotional labor and organizational effectiveness. Methods: For the empirical analysis, survey was conducted of workers in the public healthcare center, and 502 final data was secured after eliminating the insufficient ones, which were used in the statistical analysis. Results: Emotive effort showed to have a positive effect on organizational effectiveness, however emotive dissonance showed to have a negative effect on organizational effectiveness. Emotive effort showed to reduce the level of all job burnouts while emotive dissonance showed to increase the level of all job burnouts. All job burnout showed to have negative effects on organizational effectiveness. Job burnout showed to have mediating effect between emotional labor and organizational effectiveness. Conclusion: Emotive efforts of emotional labor has positive impact on organizational effectiveness while emotive dissonance has negative impact on organizational effectiveness overall. Therefore, public healthcare center should try to seek for proper way to reduce job burnout of workers, because job burnout functions as mediating element between emotional labor and organizational effectiveness.

뷰티 종사자의 직무스트레스와 소진 및 직무만족의 관계 (Relationship between job stress, burnout, and job satisfaction of beauty workers)

  • This study examined the relationship between job stress, burnout, and job satisfaction perceived by 185 beauty workers. Analysis and structural model analyses were conducted to derive the main results. The results are summarized and presented as follows. First, the job stress perceived by beauty workers has a statistically significant positive effect on burnout. Second, job stress perceived by beauty workers has a statistically significant negative effect on job satisfaction. Third, burnout felt by beauty workers has a statistically significant negative effect on job satisfaction. Through the above results, job stress and burnout should be lowered in order to increase the job satisfaction of beauty workers, and in particular, job stress must effectively be lowered in consideration of the fact that job stress is a determinant that increases burnout and reduces job satisfaction. A method must be discovered to achieve this end.

보건교사의 소진이 직무만족에 미치는 영향: 셀프리더십의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Influences of Burnout on Job Satisfaction on School Health Teachers (School Nurse): Focused on the Mediating Effects of Self-leadership)

  • This study was conducted to identify the impact of burnout on job satisfaction of school health teachers (school nurses) and the mediating effects of self-leadership on the relationship between burnout and job satisfaction. Methods: The research is a cross-sectional survey. The participants were 131 school health teachers (school nurses) in Korea. Data was collected using a self-reporting questionnaire covering demographic characteristics, self-leadership, burnout, and job satisfaction. The collected data was analyzed through t-test, ANOVA, correlation, and multiple regression using SPSS/WIN (ver. 23). Results: Significant positive correlations were found between self-leadership and job satisfaction (r=.384, p<.001). Significant negative correlations were found between burnout and job satisfaction (r=-.748, p<.001) and between burnout and self-leadership (r=-.308, p<.001). The factors that enhance job satisfaction were found to be lower burnout and higher self-leadership. The results of the 3-step regression are as follows: First, burnout had a significant negative effect on self-leadership. Second, burnout had a significant negative effect on job satisfaction. Third, self-leadership had a significant positive effect on job satisfaction and had a mediating effect on the relationship between burnout and job satisfaction (Zab=3.271, p<.001). Conclusion: Based on these results, self-leadership is needed in order to raise job satisfaction and reduce burnout.

직무요구-통제 모형에 의한 간호사의 소진(Burnout)에 관한 연구 (An Empirical Study on the Burnout of Nurses Based on the Job Demand-Control Model)

  • Based on the Job Demand-Control model which was proposed by R. A. Karasek, this study was designed to investigate the relationships among job demand, job control, and job burnout of nurses. In addition, the other aim of the present study was to test the moderating or buffering role of social supports in the relationship between the job demand and job burnout. The analysis based on data collected from 239 nurses who are working in two general hospitals has produced the following results. We found that job demand was primarily related to the exhaustion component of burnout, whereas (lack of) job control was related to the disengagement dimension of burnout. And social supports from the supervisor attenuated the disengagement, whereas social supports from the colleague diminished the exhaustion. But, we found no interaction effects that were expected in the hypotheses. Specifically, social supports didn't buffer the negative effects of job demand on burnout, while job control had the moderating effect which was in opposite direction. The implications of these analyses and limitations of the study were then discussed.

디지털시대 세무대리인의 정서노동과 직무스트레스가 직무탈진에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Emotional Labor and Job Stress on the Job Burnout in the Digital Era : Focusing on Staff Accountants)

  • 본 연구는 디지털시대의 융복합연구로 세무대리인의 정서노동과 직무스트레스, 직무탈진간의 관계에 대하여 살펴보았다. 실증분석에 활용된 도구는 SPSS 21.0과 AMOS 21.0 프로그램이며, 직무스트레스의 매개효과에 대한 강건성을 분석하고자 Sobel 검정을 시도하였다. 본 연구의 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 정서적 표현빈도는 직무스트레스에 유의한 부(-)의 영향이 있으며, 정서다양성은 직무스트레스에 유의하게 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 정서부조화는 직무스트레스에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 정서노동과 직무탈진의 관계가 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 정서노동과 직무탈진 관계에서 직무스트레스의 매개효과가 규명되었다. 그리고 정서적 표현빈도와 직무탈진, 정서다양성과 직무탈진 관계에서 직무스트레스는 완전 매개효과를 지닌 것으로 확인되었다. 그러나 정서부조화와 직무탈진의 관계에서 직무스트레스의 매개효과는 발견되지 않았다. 이러한 결과는 세무대리인의 직무탈진은 정서노동보다는 직무스트레스에서 비롯된 것임을 지지하며, 세무대리인에게 있어서 직무스트레스의 관리가 중요하다는 점을 시사하는 증거가 된다.

작업치료사의 임파워먼트, 소진 및 직무만족도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Occupational Therapists' Empowerment, Burnout, and Job Satisfaction)

  • Purpose : This study investigated the empowerment, burnout, and job satisfaction levels among occupational therapists, and to ascertained the effects of empowerment and burnout on job satisfaction. The study aimed to provide foundational data to help increase job satisfaction among occupational therapists. Methods : We surveyed 180 occupational therapists working in the Jeollabuk-do. The survey included 49 questions covering general characteristics, empowerment, burnout, and job satisfaction. Differences in empowerment, burnout, and job satisfaction levels based on general characteristics were analyzed using independent sample t-tests and one-way ANOVA. We performed multiple regression analyses to ascertain the effects of empowerment and burnout on job satisfaction. Results : The average scores for job satisfaction, burnout, and empowerment were 40.32, 58.40, 41.82, respectively. Job satisfaction according to general characteristics showed statistically significant differences based on the annual income and the most difficult treatment. We found that empowerment factors such as perceived importance of the job confidence in one's abilities, and independence and autonomy in job performance, significantly affected job satisfaction. However, the most significant factor influencing job satisfaction was daily fatigue and stress. Conclusion : Job empowerment and burnout of significantly affected job satisfaction among occupational therapists. Occupational therapists have a effect on the daily lives of their clients through interventions, playing a crucial role for each individual client. Thus, increasing the empowerment and job satisfaction levels of occupational therapists and reducing their burnout levels can help improve the quality of life of the clients and enable occupational therapists to provide high-quality services.

대구 외식업 종사원의 직무소진에 관한 연구 - '가족-일 갈등', '일-가족 갈등', 직무만족 및 개인직무성과를 중심으로 - (Job Burnout of Restaurant Employees in Daegu City - With a Focus on 'Family-Work Conflict', 'Work-Family Conflict', Job Satisfaction, and Individual Job Performance -)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between 'family-work conflict/work-family conflict', job burnout, job satisfaction, and individual job performance in the employees at the restaurants in Daegu City. The sample of this study consisted of employees at the restaurants in Daegu City who visited the 2010 Daegu Food Tour Expo between October 7 and October 10. A total of 302 questionnaires were analyzed using statistical methods of factor analysis, reliability test, and covariance structural analysis. The research findings were as follows; firstly, work-family conflict was positively related to job burnout, secondly, job burnout was negatively related to job satisfaction and individual job performance and thirdly, job satisfaction was positively related to individual job performance. However, there was no relationship between family-work conflict and job burnout. The reason for rejection of the relationship between family-work conflict and job burnout was that family-related affairs were not important enough to affect job burnout among restaurant employees in Korea. This phenomenon happened differently in the US. Therefore, currently, restaurant managers in Daegu City should pay much attention to work-related affairs so as to mitigate job burnout as much as possible among their employees.
