Construction waste takes about 50% of total industrial waste. Researchers focuses to decrease the amount of construction waste by recycling the waste during the construction site. However, research about recycling the gelatin-sand composite is not yet been studied. This research is an experimental research on recycling the total specimen of gelatin-sand composite. Two methods were held when making the 2nd generation of the gelatin-sand specimen. As a result, there was no difference in flexural strenght between two different method of 2nd generation of specimen. However, the second method of 2nd generation showed about 20% higher compressive strength than the first method.
The "Eco-friendly", "Green" concepts was began around 1992 after the Rio Environmental Summit, and the need for sustainable development globally widespread. The green building certification system was began around 2000 and the concept of green building was started in the late 1990s. The green building, which welcomes a period of radical change, is for the survival of the Earth "climate change" and reducing energy consumption in building sector. In this architecture of eco-friendly concept, the green building is rapidly expanding and existing as a ecological environment preservation. Moreover, the realization of zero energy house is to mandate for new buildings in 2025. The aim of further eco-friendly is through the prior ecosystems to restore and product energy for the 9 Green Building model houses in this paper. Building in the concept of ecology is to show about change into 7R's from the 3R's. The "Reduce", "Reuse", "Recycle" consisting of "3R's" is correlated with the traditional to the present Green Building Design. U.S. NCARB (National Council of Architectural Registration Boards) change into the concept of 7R's as "Receive", "Restore", "Respect" and "Remember", added to "3R's". In this paper, the 9 Green Building model houses do not meet the criteria of 7R's. But, the Green Tomorrow of Samsung C & T Corporation meet the 6 criteria for 7R's. This company is most comfortable at low carbon Green Building model houses. Conclusionally, introduction of eco-friendly technologies and amenities for the health of human and natural community life is to advance eco-friendly construction and enhance brand value of housing. By the way, The problem of eco-friendly architecture is initial investment and maintenance. Therefore, eco-friendly architecture and government has to try solving of this difficulty.
현행 토목 설계분야에서는 BIM(Building Information Modeling)기반의 3차원 객체모델의 활용이 미미한 수준이다.
This study is to find countermeasures of facility space according to the development of new educational program and the opening of education market from the renewal of existing facilities. The renewal is consider as the worldwide trend for enhancing added value of the facilities in economic side of educational facilities as well as educational contents. This study selects six from 94 elementary schools in Kwangju-city to examine our educational conditions, understand using conditions and recognition of existing space and possibility of the recycle. The hypothesis that recognition of existing facility space in school may be varied according to physical conditions of children is made in four sides, six elements and two trends are extracted and then life pattern, size, sense of materials and cognition of three types of passage space are analyzed. Accordingly, this study obtains such results that passage space is life space having strong place concept and there is the possibility of renewal of existing school building facilities corresponding to multipurpose of school facilities.
In this study we intended to investigate properties of cement mortar with recycled PET fiber, PE fiber, and PP fiber such as slump flow, compressive strength, tensile strength, and flexural strength. As results of experiment, several properties of specimen with recycled PET fiber were little low comparing those of specimen with PE fiber and PP fiber. But if we see from point of economy and recycle of industrial wastes, it has enough reason to be used. Compressive strength of specimen with recycled PET fiber at 56 days was about 10% higher, but tensile strength and flexural strength were lower than that of no-fiber.
Cement is an essential material for social infrastructure. Cement production process for cement itself is energy-intensive and requires a large amount of natural resources for fuel and raw materials. This study is to development of recycled cement from waste concrete powder in manufacturing process of recycled aggregate concrete. Recycled cement is low carbon and green growth materials concept for eco friendly construction environment. From the test results, waste concrete powder is same chemical proportion regardless of manufacturing process of recycled aggregate concrete.
The amount of construction waste increased to 176,447 ton/day in 2008 from 28,400 ton/day in 2000, a 6-fold increase in just 10 years. Such dramatic increase in the waste of concrete, asphalt concrete, wood and metals was due to demolition of old buildings as well as a great number of building redevelopment projects and hurried city industrialization. Many buildings targeted for demolition today were built in line with the government policy to provide affordable housing to citizens in the shortest time possible and consequently, said buildings underwent rapid deterioration and required periodic repairs and reconstruction. Based on the above, we predict that construction waste will continue to increase for the foreseeable future. In particular, due to limited availability of suitable space to construct apartments and residential buildings in the city, old buildings are being torn down to make space for new development, further increasing construction waste. In light of that, efforts to recycle as well as reduce generated waste are urgently required.
Recently, it has been often reported that recycling of wasted glasses should be a great topic in related business circles. For the environmental reasons, a public institution are looking fur the ways of recycling these waste glasses. Consequently, the purpose of this research is to recycle crushed and powdered waste glasses by substituting for the cement in mortar and concrete. First of all, the optimum replacement ratio of Powdered Waste Glasses(PWG) can be obtained from the pilot test results. Secondary, we make advances in recycling of waste glasses as recycled to make secondary concrete products. So, we manufactured concrete brick and block contained powdered waste glasses by through mortar pilot test.
In this research, among thermoplasticity plastic raw material that recycling is possible polyolefine(TPO) and polyvinyl chloride(PVC) as target recycling plan examine wish to. It is polyolefine(TPO) and polyvinyl chloride(PVC)) is mediocrity material that there are a lot of amount useds among plastic material and it is material that recycling is also activated most. Long term made first new regulation raw material, by-product raw material happened at process of production at second factory and third time to examine recycling plan of this material divides this as raw material that pass through process separation and pelet Tuesday and analyzed each special quality removing each removed waste after is used. Measure tension strength and ext. heightening gradually mixing proportion of refreshing resources on standard Sample manufactured as new raw material and application examined possibility availability to single fly system.
A policy for recycling waste concrete has been extensively studied, but it is still lacking to recycle and reuse as a cementitious powder, and the property has big different depending on the aggregate rates. In this study, the amount of cement powder according to the internal properties of the aggregate were mixed. From as a result, Concrete Powder to play inside the aggregate composition of the cement composition CaO rigs that causes loss of power and strength reduction due to rising real water cement ratio will affect large.
