Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) enable their users to access Cloud computing and storage services from anywhere in quick and flexible manners through the Internet. With the basis of 'pay-as-you-go' model, it makes the interactions between CSPs and the users play a vital role in shaping the Cloud computing market. A pool of virtualized and dynamically scalable Cloud services that delivered on demand to the users is associated with guaranteed performance and cost-provisioning. It needed a costing scheme for determining suitable charges in order to secure lease pricing of the Cloud services. However, it is hard to meet the satisfied prices for both CSPs and users due to their conflicting needs. Furthermore, there is lack of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) that allowing the users to take part into price negotiating process. The users may lose their interest to use Cloud services while reducing CSPs profit. Therefore, this paper proposes a generic costing scheme for Cloud services using General Equilibrium Theory (GET). GET helps to formulate the price function for various services' factors to match with various demands from the users. It is initially determined by identifying the market circumstances that a general equilibrium will be hold and reached. Specifically, there are two procedures of agreement made in response to (i) established equilibrium supply and demand, and (ii) service price formed and constructed in a price range. The SLAs in our costing scheme is integrated to satisfy both CSPs and users' needs while minimizing their conflicts. The price ranging strategy is deliberated to provide prices' options to the users with respect their budget limit. Meanwhile, the CSPs can adaptively charge based on users' preferences without losing their profit. The costing scheme is testable and analyzed in multi-tenant computing environments. The results from our simulation experiments demonstrate that the proposed costing scheme provides better users' satisfaction while fostering fairness pricing in the Cloud market.

Ships are built according to the purpose and operated with individual goals. Operational goals are reflected in the design of the ships and become the main criterion for determining the required ship ability. In general, cargo ships and passenger ships are objectively evaluated in terms of the operation part of the ship and the capacity part of the cargo or passenger, centering on their transportation ability. In consideration of the required ship ability, the built ship can expect effects such as economic feasibility and eco-friendliness in addition to basic characteristics such as stability. Accordingly, the concept of ship ability is expected to be effectively used in the field of training-only ship management by each institution, which plays a pivotal role in training ship-officers. In this study, the basic direction was verified for the ship ability evaluation criteria of training-only ships through the analysis of the internal space of two training-only ships of the Korea Institute of Maritime and Fisheries Technology, which were recently built with a time lag. In the process of building training-only ship or general-purpose training ship, the possibility of using the ship ability standards in securing budget and designing was derived.

Purpose: Tuberculosis(TB) care unit in public health center should be carefully considered to be re-designed as an infection safety environment for both patient and healthcare workers. So, for the enhancement, this study analyses the facility requirements for co-using the screening clinic as a TB and other respiratory disease care unit. Methods: Not only screening clinic facility guidelines from "A Study for Standard Triage Design and Construction Document" but also the guidelines of TB care and related medical facility are reviewed; KDCA, CDC, ECDC and WHO as a TB care, and FGI and NHS for facility. The facility requirements are summarized space, approach, and mechanical requirement in order. By comparing the summary and screening clinic facility guidelines, supplementations are proposed for TB care unit setting. Results: The result of this study shows that both the space program and mechanical requirement of the screening clinic and that of TB care unit are almost identical and could be share, which include direct airflow or negative air pressure in an exam room. To increase functional and economical efficiency, however, it is necessary to consider a multi-functional negative pressured room, So care process may be re-designed based on a room type; face-to-face room or glass wall inbetween. Implications: The facility guidelines for TB care unit of a public health center should be developed to build a safe environment for infection control by reflecting its medical plan and budget.

Many contracting firms and project managers in the construction industry have started to utilize multi objective optimization methods to handle multiple conflicting goals for completing the project within the stipulated time and budget with required quality and safety. These optimization methods have increased the pressure on decision makers to search for an optimal resources utilization plan that optimizes simultaneously the total project cost, completion time, and crashing cost by considering indirect cost, contractual penalty cost etc., practically charging them in terms of direct cost of the project which is fuzzy in nature. This paper presents a multiple fuzzy goal programming model (MFGP) that supports decision makers in performing the challenging task. The model incorporates the fuzziness which stems from the imprecise aspiration levels attained by the decision maker to these objectives that are quantified through fuzzy linear membership function. The membership values of these objectives are then maximized which forms the fuzzy decision. The problem is solved using LINGO 8 optimization solver and the best compromise solution is identified. Comparison between solutions of MFGP, fuzzy multi objective linear programming (FMOLP) and multiple goal programming (MGP) are also presented. Additionally, an interactive decision making process is developed to enable the decision maker to interact with the system in modifying the fuzzy data and model parameters until a satisfactory solution is obtained. A case study is considered to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed model for optimization of project network parameters in the construction industry.

In this study, in order to develop a manual for the AI convergence education competency strengthening project, project personnel were interviewed and an overall analysis of the business process was made. As a result of analysis, the manual includes methods to solve problems currently being raised in the field such as recruitment of graduate students, education program management, academic registration management, and budget management. In order to increase the continuity and efficiency of the project, it is necessary to build an administrative management site that provides information on the overall project, to strengthen publicity for general teachers about AI convergence education, and meet the educational needs and level of enrolled students.

Purpose: Many people recognize the fact that women are basically poor at financial and retirement planning. A small number of scholars have explored the factors and situations that influence the level of awareness of pre-retirement women and men with regards to planning for their retirement years. In most developing countries, including Malaysia, there are more men in the younger segment of the population and more women in the older segment, since women tend to live longer than men due to having jobs of relatively lower risk, their behaviors, and activities. Research design, data and methodology: Given that it is hard to predict whether they will be healthy in old age, women may require additional resources to obtain the care and assistance that they need. The transition from career life into retirement is a long process for people to go through. Some may be able to prepare for the next stage of life, and some may not be able to prepare due to personal reasons. Planning for future retirement is important because it will affect the quality of a woman's life after a certain age. Results: Without proper planning, women may face financial instability, depression, and poor psychological well-being. However, many women are unaware of their financial status or do not know their family's financial status, such as tracking the main income, budget, and expenses, financial commitments and have no proper record of assets owned, loans owed, or updated loan balances. Conclusions: The findings of this research have led to the conclusion that pre-retiree women are likely to regard their retirement savings as sufficient without realizing that they should have at least several types of savings instead of just one, and the grave consequences of not having any savings at all for their retirement years.

Performance indicators for academic libraries in Korea suggested in this research cover three areas, that is, collection, budget, and human resources, which consists of three subdivisions, respectively. Performance indicators and action plans in this research were prepared, based on the official documents which universities in Korea formally submitted to the Ministry of Education and Human Resources, and the data published by the related institutions. Performance indicators and action plans are intended to draw attentions of university administrators and headquarters, but do not require librarians to prepare for evaluation. The better results would be expected with the development and application of both quantitative and qualitative indicators for information services by standardizing and unifying the process of collecting statistics. It is also expected that periodic and continuing evaluation of academic libraries could help government and universities have a better understanding of and appreciate the significance of academic libraries.

With the rapid advancement and sophistication of defense weapon systems, the government, military, and the defense industry have conducted various innovative attempts to improve the efficiency of post-logistics support(PLS). The Ministry of Defense has mandated RAM-C(Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability-Cost) analysis as a requirement according to revised Total Life Cycle System Management Code of Practice in May 2022. Especially, for the project budget forecast of new PBL(Performance Based Logistics) business contacts, RAM-C is recognized as an obligatory factor. However, relevant entities have not officially provided guidelines or manuals for RAM-C analysis, and each defense contractor conducts RAM-C analysis with different standards and methods to win PBL-related business contract. Hence, this study aims to contribute to the generalization of the analysis procedure by presenting a cost analysis case based on RAM-C for the supply of military depot maintenance PBL project. This study presents formulas and procedures to determine requirements of military depot maintenance PBL project for repair parts supply. Moreover, a sensitivity analysis was conducted to find the optimal cost/utilization ratio. During the process, a correlation was found between supply delay and total cost of ownership as well as between cost variability and utilization rate. The analysis results are expected to provide an important basis for the conceptualization of the cost analysis for the supply of military depot maintenance PBL project and are capable of proposing the optimal utilization rate in relation to cost.

Roads deeply affect the life of people and keep doing an important role to support economic growth of a country. According to the budget plan of the ministry of construction and transportation of Korea, 8.1 trillion won have been allotted for road investment in the year of 2002 which occupy 61% of the transportation infrastructure special account (13.3 trillion won) and 4.7% of the total national budget (1,740 trillion won). It is true that services generated from road investment such as mobility enhancement and increased accessibility have shown positive effects through shortened travel time and decreased vehicle operating cost. However, it is also notable that many negative effects are gradually being discussed and those are nowadays getting severer due to enhanced people interests about road construction, increased concerns on environment and active public involvement that were evoked by traffic accidents, air pollution & noise and destruction of environment. Road construction processes in Korea are normally governed by administrative sectors (suppliers) not by users. These processes ate very weak to accomodate user s needs and community concerns thus easy to fail finalizing a road project without hassles. A public hearing process is supposed to be held in the processes of detailed design step and the environmental impact analysis. However, it is not enough to grab user's needs and community concerns. Increased public involvement frequencies, optimized public involvement timing and enhanced depth of public involvement magnitude are suggested to improve the current poor public involvement schemes in road planning and design processes. The application of these recommended methods to the road planning and design processes may guarantee the change from the current supplier-oriented schemes to the new user-oriented one. Also, this study suggests to reset objectivity and clarity of road construction process, to make conciliation guidelines based on many practical cases that produced good results, to introduce public involvement techniques in a stepwise basis, and to foster the professionals via education and training programs.
The purpose of this study is to develop a on-line design tool for effectively coping with e-Business environment, or product design process into a Cyber model for traditional manufacturers which attempts new product development under such environment. Results of the study can be described as follows ; \circled1 e-Business is based on the Internet. All processes in the context of e-Business require models whose structure and method of use are on-line styles. \circled2 In case that a traditional manufacturing business is converted into e-Business, it is better to first consider Hybrid Model that combines resources and advantages of both such traditional and digital businesses. \circled3 The product design process appropriate for e-Business environment has to have a structure and style that ensure utilization of the process as an Internet web site, active participation by product developers and interactive communication between participants in designing and designers. \circled4 $\ulcorner$e-BDVS) makes possible the use of designers around the wend like in-house designers, overcoming lack in creativity, ideas and human resources traditional business organizations face. However, the operation of $\ulcorner$e-BDVS$\lrcorner$ requires time and budget investments in securing related elements and conditions. \circled5 Cyber designers under $\ulcorner$e-BDVS$\lrcorner$ can easily perform all design projects in cyber space. But they have some limits in playing a role as designers and they have difficulty in getting rewards if such projects completed by them are not finally accepted. \circled6 $\ulcorner$e-BDVS) ensures the rapid use of a wide range of design information and data, reception of a variety of solutions and ideas and effective design development, all of which are not possible through traditional processes.
