영화 사례분석을 통한 디지털 분장 기법에 관한 연구 (A Study of Digital Makeup Techniques, based on a Case Study of a Film)

  • Digital makeup(DM), depending upon computer graphic softwares, is applied to various fields, e.g. character works in movie and game industries and visual printouts in printing works. Focused on makeup field, DM is extremely conducive to developing, scientizing and informationalizing makeup patterns. Despite of unlimited potential of DM of which market size has been growing day by day, its practical use by domestic makeup experts and educators is much less active than expected as far, due to the lack of knowledge accumulation. The purpose of this study is to suggest some theoretical frameworks to generalize DM techniques and analyze two cases using the frames therefore support academicians' recent efforts to theorize DM techniques. The study 1) defines and categorizes the concepts of DM and DFX(digital special effect); 2) reviews the literature relevant to DM and generalizes the types and methods of DM techniques; 3) applies general frames to analyzing two movie cases, famous for their DM effects; 4) then suggests, based upon analytical results, some efficient ways for makeup experts to use DM techniques in practice. This study contributes to providing the theoretical grounds to conceptualize DM thus broadening makeup artists' interests in DM and awakening the scholarly concerns in cultural technology including DM.

  • WDM(Wavelength Division Multiplexing) 광통신망의 노드에서 신호채널들이 분기 결합될 때 잔류채널들의 이득을 일정하게 제어해 주기 위해 고정이득 EDFA를 사용한다. 본 논문에서는 양방향 펌프에 의해 고이득을 가지는 L-band EDFA에서 발진광에 의해 입력변화를 보상해주는 방식으로 고정이득 EDFA를 구현하였다. 여기서 발진방향 및 파장에 따른 잔류채널의 과도응답 특성에 있어서 단파장 후방발진의 경우가 최적임을 확인할 수 있었다.

졸-겔 공법으로 제작된 SnO2 박막 트랜지스터의 광전기적 특성 (Optoelectronic Properties of Sol-gel Processed SnO2 Thin Film Transistors)

  • In this study, a highly crystalline SnO2 thin film was formed using a sol-gel process. In addition, a SnO2 thin-film transistor was successfully fabricated. The fabricated SnO2 thin-film transistor exhibited conventional n-type semiconductor properties, with a mobility of 0.1 cm2 V-1 s-1, an on/off current ratio of 1.2 × 105, and a subthreshold swing of 2.69. The formed SnO2 had a larger bandgap (3.95 eV) owing to the bandgap broadening effect. The fabricated photosensor exhibited a responsivity of 1.4 × 10-6 Jones, gain of 1.43 × 107, detectivity of 2.75 × 10-6 cm Hz1/2 W-1, and photosensitivity of 4.67 × 102.

Effect of HPLC Analytical Procedure upon Determining Drug Content in PLGA Microspheres

  • The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of sample preparation, HPLC conditions and peak measurement methods upon determining progesterone content of poly-d,l-lactide-co-glycolide microspheres. A series of the microspheres with different formulations was first prepared. To determine their actual drug contents, the microspheres were dissolved in tetrahydrofuran and diluted with various amounts of methanol to precipitate the polymer. After removal of polymeric precipitates, the filtrates were subject to HPLC analysis under versatile experimental conditions. Interestingly, the composition of a sample solution (e.g., the ratio of methanol to tetrahydrofuran) affected the magnitudes of both peak fronting and peak broadening of progesterone. Its peak became broader and more asymmetrical at lower methanol:tetrahydrofuran ratios. Furthermore, its peak height was influenced by the proportion of tetrahydrofuran in a sample solution. Such problems encountered with tetrahydrofuran were exacerbated when a larger volume of the sample solution was injected onto an analytical column. Under our experimental conditions a peak area measurement provided more accurate and reliable determination of progesterone content in various microspheres than a peak height determination. Optimizing the composition of a sample solution, HPLC chromatographic conditions and peak analysis methods was a prerequisite to an accurate determination of progesterone encapsulated within microspheres.

경남지역 치과병.의원 직원들의 서비스제공수준이 고객의 구매행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Service Level Provided by The Staffs in the Dental Clinic on The Purchasing Behavior of Customers in South Gyeongnam Province)

  • The purpose of this research is to provide an available basis for marketing strategy by defining the cause-effect relation between the service level of staff members in dental clinic and purchasing behavior of the customers. This study was done in 10 days from November 2, 2009 to November 11, 2009 and the total 172 copies were used for the analysis. As a result of the correlation analysis, a significant positive correlation among all the measured variables was found. As a result of the structural model analysis, I found that the fair service among the variables of the service level significantly affects the building of relationship and the hospital image. The building of relationship and the hospital image significantly affect the positive oral spread. The building of relationship significantly affects the repurchase intentions but the hospital image does not affects the repurchase intentions. To sum up the result of this study, I found that the fair service and the building of relationship with patients are important variables in order to attract new patients and maintain existing customers. I recommend that the hospital continues to motivate staffs through internal marketing and conduct regular trainings. It is necessary to have patients satisfied with broadening responsibility and authority and set marketing strategy for the relationship with patients.

Stimulatory Effects of Ginsan on the Proliferation and Viability of Mouse Spleen Cells

  • Ginsan is an acidic polysaccharide purified from Panax ginseng, a famous oriental herb. Although a variety of biological activities of ginsan have been studied, the effects of ginsan on spleen cells are not fully elucidated. We investigated the effect of ginsan on the viability and proliferation of spleen cells. Using Cell Counting $Kit-8^{(R)}$ solution and trypan blue solution, we found that ginsan significantly enhanced viability and proliferation. Multiple clusters, indicating proliferation, were observed in ginsan-treated spleen cells and, carboxyfluorescein succinimidyl ester and surface marker staining assay revealed that ginsan promoted proliferation from $CD19^+$ B cells rather than $CD4^+$ or $CD8^+$ T cells. In addition, ginsan decreased the percentage of late apoptotic cells. Ginsan increased the surface expression of CD25 and CD69 as well as production of interleukin-2 from spleen cells, suggesting increased activation. Taken together, these results demonstrate that ginsan increases the viability and proliferation of spleen cells via multiple mechanisms, valuable information for broadening the use of ginsan in clinical and research settings.

Mössbauer Spectroscopic Studies of NiZn Ferrite Prepared by the Sol-Gel Method

  • This study was aimed to study the effect of Zn content on the hyperfine parameters and the structural variation of $Ni_{1-x}Zn_xFe_2O_4$ for x = 0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, and 0.8. To achieve this, a sol-gel route was used for the preparation of samples and the obtained ferrites were investigated by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and $M{\ddot{o}}ssbauer$ spectroscopy. The formation of spinel phase without any impurity peak was identified by X-ray diffraction of all the samples. Moreover, the estimated crystallite size by X-ray line broadening indicates a decrease with increasing Zn content. This result was in agreement with the scanning electron microscopy result, indicating the reduction in grain growth with further zinc substitution. The room-temperature $M{\ddot{o}}ssbauer$ spectra show that the hyperfine fields at both the A and B sites decreased with increasing Zn content; however, the rate of reduction is not the same for different sites. Moreover, the best fit parameter showed that the quadrupole splitting values of B site increased from the pure nickel ferrite to the sample with x = 0.8.

속도군 선택 광펌핑 분광학 (Velocity selective optical pumping spectroscopy)

  • 기체상태의 루비듐 원자가 실온에서 Maxwell 속도 분포를 이루고 있을 때 광펌핑 현상과 특정 속도 원자의 선택에 의해 도플러 효과를 제거시키는 속도군 선택 광펌핑(VSOP) 분광학을 실시하였다. 본 실험에서는 주파수가 고정된 locked laser와 주파수 튜닝이 가능한 sweep laser를 동시에 사용하되, 두 빔을 같은 방향으로 진행시키고, 시료 속에서 서로 겹치게 함으로써 주공진 신호만을 발생시킬 수 있었다. 이 방법으로 지금까지 알려진 VSOP 분광학보다 원자들의 속도 선택 범위가 더 넓어졌다.

  • 본 연구에서는 3상 RCD(Random Pulse Centered Displacement) PWM기법에 비하여 구현이 용이하고 스위칭 주파수의 정수배 스펙트럼의 광대역화와 선형화의 효과가 우수한, 2상 RCD-PWM을 제안하였으며, 그 파워 스펙트럼을 비교하고 있다 종전의 3상 RCD-PWM과 제안된 2상 RCD-PWM을 구현하기 위하여, 16비트 고성능 마이크로 컨트롤러 SAB-Cl67이 사용되었다 SAB-C167에 의하여 각 변조 구간에서의 듀티비를 구한 후, 선형 랜덤 발생기를 이용하여 균일한 확률 분포로 각 상의 펄스의 위치를 재배치하였다. 제안된 2상 RCD-PWM에 의한 모터전압과 전류 그리고 직류링크 전류의 파워 스펙트럼 및 모터의 가청 스위칭 소음 효과를 종전의 3상 RCD-PWM과 비교 검토하였다

In0.27Ga0.73N/GaN 다중 양자우물 구조에 대한 광전기적 특성 (Optoelectronics Properties of In0.27Ga0.73N/GaN Multi-Quantum-Well Structure)

  • Temperature and injection current dependence of elctroluminescence(EL) spectral intensity of the $In_{0.27}Ga_{0.73}N/GaN$ multi-quantum-well(MQW) have been studied over a wide temperature and as a function of injection current level. EL peaks also show significant broadening into higher photon energy region with the increase of injection current. This is explained by the band-filling effect. When temperature is slightly increased to 300 from 15 K, the EL emission peak showed red-blue-red shift. It can be explained by the carrier localization by potential fluctuation of multiple quantum well and band-gap shrinkage as temperature increase. It is found that a temperature-dependent variation pattern of the EL efficiency under very low and high injection currents show a drastic difference. This unique EL efficiency variation pattern with temperature and current is explained field effects due to the driving forward bias in presence of internal(piezo and spontaneous polarization) fields.
