Increasing of Korean old women's rate is demographic characteristics attributed an aging society, silver generation would lead to silver fashion market with steady competitiveness and interest in fashion. So the study attempts to use foundation material for silver's fashion design by analyzing design characteristics and processing development of design representative women's top. Selecting brand for collecting photo using study represents a mid- and premium-priced with reference Brand Yearbook. After selecting brand on domestic and foreign I have collected picture from Internet shopping mall and web-site of fashion brand, from October 2013 to July 2014, but I selected 840 pictures based on front poses for easy decision. In order to search design characteristics according to sort of silver blouse design on domestic and foreign. I have examined shape, color, pattern, fabric sensation, inside composition line and decoration with reference standard of analysis in preceding research. Data analysis method was conducted on analysis of frequency and cross analysis using SPSS statistical package 21.0. The conclusion of design characteristic according to type of blouse design for silver, H-silhouette in shirt blouse seems to fit in body transformation and expose silhouette with correcting the body flaw. Using soft material in T-shirt blouse they are able to conceal a body defect and express beautiful silhouette. By using detail in pullover shirt blouse and tunic blouse for point of design, it express glamour and luxurious. Most of blouse are printed various pattern, it would looks more gorgeous using pattern.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the visual effects and images according to changes in the silhouettes and length of miniskirt. The silhouettes of the miniskirt were classified into two different categories according to side line, H-line and A-line. We altered the length of the miniskirt in five categories with changes in 25cm, 27.5cm, 30cm, 32.5cm, and 35cm. For the visual evaluation, 10 stimuli were placed in mannequins, and were estimated by the experts in the fashion design. For the visual evaluation according to changes in the silhouettes and length of the miniskirt, we used 13 pairs of items to find the visual effects, and 23 pairs of adjectives to measure the visual images. The stimuli and adjectives were randomly given to the evaluators and were evaluated by the 7-Point Likert Type Scale. The data have analyzed by frequency, t-test, factor analysis, anova, scheffe's test and the MCA method. According to the factor analysis of the visual effects of the miniskirt, the result was classified into 3 factors: the thickness of the lower body, the length of the lower body, and the shape of the lower body. According to factor analysis of the visual image of the miniskirt, the result was classified into 4 factor: personality, attraction, elegance, and activity. The silhouettes of miniskirt had more positive visual effects and images in A-Line than in H-Line. Among the visual effects of miniskirts, the length affected the thickness and length of the lower body more than the silhouette did and, the silhouette had more effects on the shape of the lower body than the length did. And shorter the skirts, stronger the image of personality. However, 32.5cm and 35cm miniskirts are estimated to be more attractive than excessively short skirts. There are many differences in the image of personality and activity according to the changes in the length of miniskirts.

A web based virtual try-on provides customers a more enjoyable shopping experience that visualize clothes on personal mannequin. The researchers compared virtual fitting models which were developed in 2000 at Korea and in 2000 and 2002 at U.S. The results of this study as follows: The information about user's body size was required to input for selection of a virtual fitting model. 7 to 19 different body size, shape, and face features including weight and height were needed for visualizing virtual fitting model. The body type of the U.S virtual fitting model(My virtual model) was selected by front view silhouette for women, and by shoulder width and midriff silhouette for men. The more detailed information was required for developing Korean virtual fitting model. The additional body size information required in the site were leg and arm lengths, waist length, and thigh and ankle circumferences. The body proportion of Korean cyber personal mannequin was longer and narrower than the U.S cyber personal mannequin. It was recommended that standardized body length, width, and depth proportions calculated from national anthropometric data must be applied for developing Korean virtual fitting model. With application of more detailed information on face feature and advanced graphic image technology the 'My virtual model in 2002 resembled the human body shape of various race.

This study attempted to investigate the plastic characteristics of cyber punk fashion with a focus on fashion in the cyber punk movies in order to inquire into how the influence of the cyber punk taking the lead in the spiritual culture and way of life of the humankind in the 21th century would be expressed in fashion. For this purpose, it sought to analyze the beauty of new fashion creating the cyber environment and identify its contemporary meaning. An attempt was made to investigate the image of cyber punk fashion with a focus on fashion expressed in the cyber punk movies. As a result, the following findings were obtained: First, the image of cyber punk fashion expressed in the cyber punk movies was simplicity, which was to express the modest silhouette and details exclusive of decoration. In addition to clean and smooth gloss, it contained the modest image of resistance', not 'revolt' by borrowing the partial motive and image from existing punk fashion. The change of cyber punk fashion into the characteristic of concise, smooth external appearance brought about the restraint of its image and symbolism as well as its plastic characteristic. Second, it was characterized by the Eroticism nature of emphasizing the body line while expressing the future and modest image or exposing the body. Cyber punk fashion expressed the avant-garde image by using materials that gave a mysterious and future feelings, as well as unsymmetrical silhouette, the slit of body-conscious line, coarse cutting, the method of do-constructing and reconstructing the silhouette, the method of applying diverse underwears such as corset, brassiere and the like. Third, cyber punk fashion was marked by the nature of mined sex. It had the masculine image by using the black color containing the image of masculinity and resistance in female clothing and expressing the suit, coat and military looks giving an masculine impression. And it expressed the image of mixed sexes with the masculine image in male clothing by borrowing feminine images such as body-conscious line, widely cut neckline, floral decoration, leggings and the like. Fourth, cyber punk fashion was marked by naturalness. It was expressed as clothing made from silhouette, knit, cotton and the like in the atmosphere expressing love, comfortableness and truth. This contained the image of naturalness, a return to the primitive, that human being wanted to return to their original figure in the future element. The cyber punk movie may contain a dismal, gloomy future image on the whole, which can be overcome, and shows the possibility that it may grow into the alternative culture, not the revolting culture. The movie of 'The Fifth Element' demonstrates the meaning and role that shows the bright future image. It is thought that designers should make efforts for cyber punk fashion to perform its role in changing the gloomy future image into the bright image of society

Human activity recognition using depth information is an emerging and challenging technology in computer vision due to its considerable attention by many practical applications such as smart home/office system, personal health care and 3D video games. This paper presents a novel framework of 3D human body detection, tracking and recognition from depth video sequences using spatiotemporal features and modified HMM. To detect human silhouette, raw depth data is examined to extract human silhouette by considering spatial continuity and constraints of human motion information. While, frame differentiation is used to track human movements. Features extraction mechanism consists of spatial depth shape features and temporal joints features are used to improve classification performance. Both of these features are fused together to recognize different activities using the modified hidden Markov model (M-HMM). The proposed approach is evaluated on two challenging depth video datasets. Moreover, our system has significant abilities to handle subject's body parts rotation and body parts missing which provide major contributions in human activity recognition.

This study aimed at examining the pattern and detailed formation of corset look which has established itself as a sort of fashion look as people began to wear underwear as part of outer garment. The study tried to present basic materials helpful for developing and creating the design and pattern of corset look. First, the collected corset look of each brand was copied and then developed. According to the result, corset look's representative silhouette turned out to be hourglass silhouette that tightened up the waist with an emphasis on expressing the beauty of the body. However, unlike corsets of the past, corsets today are being created with focus on the design rather than using lots of incision lines. Second, The bust girth of corset look items turned out to have little function to compress and deform the body like the corset of the past that was far smaller than the body. In addition, the corset style that used the lines of corset alone as motive turned out to have the larger waist girth. Third, the dismantling of collected corset look showed that the materials and formation features of corset look have become simple and that the simplification of corset look has made the items of corset look everyday clothes which can be worn practically and universally.

This research has been to perform with various methods of measurement of human body. As experiment methods, performed the body measurement method with Martin's measurer, took pictures for he observation of body gesture and body shape, and applied the cross-section measurement method of each body part for the making of body pivot. In the making of body pivot. used several sheets of styroform, and attached some gypsum power on the surface of the body pivot for he body silhouette of body. Eventhough, there were not enough subjects for this study, these methods will be continuously conducted with enough subjects, there will be to develop the body measurement method for Korean women, and will find to solve a suitable manufacturing body and the study of body for Korean women.

The purpose of this study is to understand the general process from textile design till fashion design and to understand the relation between the body structure by using the x-ray technique. The research method was to see background of the anatomic feature and human skeletal X-ray projection through historical aspect of publications, the Internet, and paper. In terms of production, in order to present a design that takes into account the unique silhouette of the human body without distorting the shape of the human skeleton, X-ray images that were reconstituted using a computer graphic tool (Photoshop CS) were reproduced into the fabric as intense images through the digital Textile Printing technique that is capable of expressing fine and delicate details, and applied into the design. An original design was developed that emphasized the impression of the human body being projected and the shape of the human skeleton realistically expressed in terms of silhouette and detail. The results are as follows: First, Body has a anatomic formative characteristic and its formativeness becomes as a great motive for the artistic expression and thereby it becomes more unique and available for new design expression. Second, Using the 'body frame' as the motive of the research, there's mainly tried to make an unique expression. Third, according to reconstructing human skeletal X-ray projection by using Adobe Photoshop CS2, it can be expressed strong and unique design. Forth, DTP which is being used as an essential technique, expresses the body frame realistically and being used the special type of functional product and silk. Likewise by discovering the diverse formativeness of our body frame and reflecting the sense of humanity into the pieces there's been able to make and develop an unique fashion design. I sincerely hope there is a hug progress in this research in this area.

In this study the swimwear pattern focused on a typical middle-aged women's body was developed and discussed. To determine the characteristics of a typical middle-aged women's body, their actual bust were cast. According to a generated flattened body surface shell, the right side of pattern was designed considering stretching ratio of swimwear materials as shown in the figure 3. Special features of the developed swimwear pattern are a bust dart, a particularly designed lining, a power-net, and a brassiere-cup. Against a commercial swimwear pattern, the darts were applied to bust area considering its volume. The lining was attached on the entire right side except brassiere part, and power-net was added twice on belly and hip part. As a result, silhouette and body shape were improved. The new brassiere-cup was designed and made to satisfy the middle-aged women's demand about their bust volume. Swimwear fitting test was performed, and it was evaluated. The developed swimwear rated activity, body support, entire silhouette, pressure, comfortable fitting, suitability with body figure, nudity higher by comparison with a commercial swimwear, as shown in the Table 6. Specially the developed swimwear satisfied future customers about a bust, a hip, a waist, a belly area, which the middle-aged women are not confident. Reducing exposure of an armhole and upper leg area, it also satisfied them. New developed swimwear pattern will provide useful reference to swimwear businesses targeting middle-aged women.

This study is to figure out where the current satisfaction with ready-to-wear clothes based on middle-aged women's body shapes is at and to propose basic considerations in its production for coming up with a better sizing system to maximize customer's satisfaction. The data obtained from measurement and questionnaire by 126 middle- aged (35-59) women which were located in Gwangju. Followings are summary of this research, 1)The satisfaction level with lower -wear is relatively lower-wear than that of upper-wear in most parts of body. 2) The results by way of putting score show three different groups. Group 1 has characteristics of front body silhouette in the small ratio of shoulder width/bust width, shoulder width/waist width and big ratio of shoulder width/hip width. And Group 3 has characteristics of front silhouette, small ratio of hip girth/thigh girth. Group 2 has a standard shape. 3) The satisfaction level with lower-wear based on middle-aged women's body shapes shows slight difference. In this category, Group 2 has higher satisfaction level than that of Group 1, while Group 1 has better shape than Group 3. 4) The items of clothes which should be considered current less satisfaction on their size and pattern are skirt and pants. In the meantime, specific body parts for the same criteria are hip girth, thigh girth. And the 43.7% of middle-aged women who responded to this study requires improvement on the fit of lower-wear.
