Successful local anesthesia in dental treatment is the most important prerequisite for pain control of patients. However, unlike that in the maxilla, it is difficult to administer local anesthesia in the mandible, and the success rate of conventional inferior alveolar nerve block (IANB) is only 80-85%. It is attributed to various causes such as anatomical variations, extreme anxiety, and technical errors; thus, various alternatives have been devised to improve this. We will analyze the causes of failure in conventional IANB and examine various alternatives that can be applied in these cases.

This paper presents about the analysis on cost factor reduction using the life cycle cost model for motor block in the KTX-1. Until now, most life cycle cost of the system as a whole that has been studied. but in case of railway industry part, LCC studies are needed on the subsystem like a propulsion control system because subsystems are developed continuously localization. Therefore, In this paper presents cost breakdown structure for life cycle cost (LCC) estimation for localization development of propulsion control system (Motor Block) in high speed railway vehicle (KTX-1). Also to analysis LCC on motor block, it was analyzed physical breakdown structure (PBS) and preventive cost on propulsion control system in view of maintenance cost. Based on this, we describe life cycle cost on motor block of KTX-1.

In this paper we consider the properties of group divisible designs and triangular designs which belong to linked block designs. These designs have minimum number of experiments among the same average efficiency factor Optimal complete diallel cross designs are constructed by these designs. A list is prepared of all linked block designs in the class of group divisible designs and triangular designs enumerated by Clatworthy(1773).
Recently, studies have been conducted to improve the m-commerce process in the NFC-based mobile environment and the increase of the number of smart phones built in NFC. Since authentication is important in mobile electronic payment, FIDO(Fast IDentity Online) and 2 Factor electronic payment system are applied. In addition, block-chains using distributed raw materials have emerged as a representative technology of the fourth industry. In this study, for the mobile gallery auction of the traders using NFC embedded terminal (smartphone) in a small gallery auction in which an unspecified minority participates, password-based authentication and biometric authentication technology (fingerprint) were applied to record transaction details and ownership transfer of the auction participants in electronic payment. And, for the cost reduction and data integrity related to gallery auction, the private distributed director block chain was constructed and used. In addition, domestic and foreign cases applying block chain in the auction field were investigated and compared. In the future, the study will also study the implementation of block chain networks and smart contract and the integration of block chain and artificial intelligence to apply the proposed method.
In this paper, an experimental study have been many studies on the joints of steel structure, for it has great influences on the safety of structures. Research on block shear rupture of the joint receiving pure tension have been done in foreign countries, but not in Korea. This study focuses on the propriety of block shear design code, according to limited state design criteria of steel structures recently established in Korea, by an experiment on the joint of angle tension members. The methods of this study were to compare other study results on block shear rupture mode and ultimate capacity, and to evaluate the propriety of the criteria design code. The result is that tension yield shear ruptures and shear yield tension ruptures happened at the joint, and the experimental rupture load was 15% higher than the capacity entered in the criteria design code. We conclude that it is necessary to revaluate the block shear design code presented by many studies on the limited state design criteria of steel structures.

In this paper we proposed the method of the block designs for diallel crosses when inbred lines are divided into two groups. These block designs are derived by using kornecker product designs with two balanced incomplete block designs, and their efficiency factor evaluated. A table of diallel crosses for up to p$_1$$\leq$15 lines, p$_2$$\leq$15 lines in each set is also provided.

The process of slope stability analysis is one of the most important stages in design of some civil and mining projects. Bimslopes are made from bimrocks (block-in-matrix rocks) where rocky blocks are distributed in a bonded matrix of finer texture. These kind of slopes are often seen in weathered and near-surface depths. Previous studies have shown that VBP (Volumetric Block Proportion) is one of the most significant factors affecting bimrocks strength and consequently the stability of bimslopes. In this paper, the influence of block inclinations on bimslope stability have been investigated. For this purpose, 180 theoretical models have been made with various VBPs, all of them have a specified block size distribution. These bimslopes contain blocks with differing dips relative the slope inclination. Also for each kind of block inclination, 10 different blocks arrangements have been modeled. The Finite Element Method (FEM) was used to analysis the stability of these bimslopes models. The results showed the inclination of blocks has a strong impact on the Safety Factor and stability of bimslopes. When the difference in angle of dip of blocks relative to the slope angle is maximum, the Safety Factor of bimslopes tends to be a maximum compared with the matrix-only state. Furthermore, with increasing VBP of bimslopes stability increases. The graphs obtained from this study could be used for preliminary guidance in the projects design with bimslopes.

This paper presents the design of block lengths for irregular low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes based on the maximum variable degree $d_{{\upsilon},max}$. To design a block length, the performance degradation of belief-propagation (BP) decoding performance from upper bounds on the maximum likelihood (ML) decoding performance is used as an important factor. Since for large block lengths, the performance of irregular LDPC codes is very close to the Shannon limit, we focus on moderate block lengths ($5{\times}10^2\;{\leq}\;N\;{\leq}\;4{\times}10^3$). Given degree distributions, the purpose of our paper is to find proper block lengths based on the maximum variable degree $d_{{\upsilon},max}$. We also present some simulation results which show how a block length can be optimized.
This study fulfills an empirical analysis how the physical factors affect the formation of housing price with the block unit. Block unit houses are a type of housing that pursues comfort and convenience in that the characteristics of individual houses and apartment houses are mixed. Existing studies have focused only on the physical characteristics of various planning elements such as block-type residential complexes. Nevertheless, it is not known whether the physical characteristics of block-type residential complexes reflect the preferences of actual consumers. In addition, there are no sufficient studies on how to evaluate them from the market side. In this study, block-level detached housing sites the target complexes with 10 or more households built between 2002 and 2019. The target areas for analysis are 163 complexes in Paju, Namyangju, Goyang, Suwon, Yongin, Ansan, Gimpo, Incheon, Seongnam, Hwaseong and Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do. The physical elements that make up the unit housing were classified through factor analysis. Finally, regression analysis was conducted to establish the basis determining the price-forming factors. As a result of the analysis, the factors that influenced the price were the site area and the number of community facilities. The variable with negative influence was the distance from Seoul. Based on the results of this study, it can be said that the influence on price formation in various areas was confirmed by presenting the relationship between the facility composition and price of a detached house.

In this paper, I made visual inspection system using Vision Board and it is consist of an illuminator (a fluorescent lamp), image input device(CCD(Charge)Coupled Device) camera), image processing system(Vision Board(FARAMVB-02), image output device(videomonitor, printer), a measuring instrument(TELMN1000). Length measurement by visual inspection system is used 100mm gauge block instead of calculating distance between camera and object, it measured horizontal and vertical length factor from 400mm to 650mm by increasing 50mm. In this place, measured horizontal and vertical length factor made use of length measurement of a injection. A measuring instrument used to compare a measured length of a injection visual inspection system with it. In conclusion, length measurement of a injection compared a measuring instrument withvisual inspecion system using length factor of 100mm guage block. Maximum error of length compared two devices a measuring instrument with visual inspection system is 0.55mm. And operation program is made up Borland C++ 3.1. By changing, it is applied to various uses.
