The purpose of this study is to provide basic guidelines for qualitatively advanced children's facilities and spaces in grand bookstores. The main concept is considered with a situation that grand bookstores of large corporations are increasing in quantity, but their social missions for the user are often being connived. The study is performed by research of current six domestic grand bookstores, two branches of each three large corporations, larger than 2,500py in Seoul, and the research is applied to Murtha's User Benefit Criteria as a basic format. As a result of the research, some problems to be improved are detected in ways of behavioral facilitation, physiological maintenance, perceptual maintenance, and social facilitation, therefore findings in survey turned out to be parents' dissatisfaction in many aspects. Finally, with this result, it is desirable for interior designers to reflect the indicated insufficient elements to their following children's bookstore space design for the user, children and their parents.

The induction of chromosome aberrations in Hordeum vulgare germs after irradiation is studied for the dose range of 10 to 1,000 mGy. The relationship between the frequency of aberrant cells and the absorbed dose is shown to be non -linear and has a dose-independent plateau within the range of 56-467 mGy where the level of cytogenetic damage is statistically significantly distinguished from the spontaneous level. The comparison of the goodness of the experimental data fitting with mathematical models of different complexities, using the most common quantitative criteria, demonstrates the benefit of the piecewise linear model over the linear and polynomial ones in approximating the cytogenetical disturbance frequency. The results of our study support the conclusion about indirect mechanism of chromosome aberrations induced by low doses or dose rates mutagenesis.

This paper examines how online product information changes the customers' purchase intentions from subjectivity-objectivity dichotomy perspective. Quality and Preference are proposed as product evaluation criteria and their marginal changes with product information differentiation are hypothesized. An experimental survey was conducted to 57 subjects and the hypotheses were partially supported through PLS path comparison method. The study contributes to IS research by proposing a simple and effective product evaluation framework and by abstracting the impact of product information from other factors. Finally, we suggest the utilization of product information with the optimization of the cost-benefit structure between information and purchase intention.

This study is focused on the incustrial symbiosis based on industrial ecosystem theory. At first, the concept of industrial ecosystem was introduced. Industrial symbiosis is a good tool in order to make a harmony between industry and natural ecosystem. The good example of industrial symbiosis is the case of Kalundborg in Denmark, where 11 networks are working in four enterprises and one community nearby. It was proved that savings of natural resources and economic benefit are achieved by use of industrial symbiosis. Moreover, the control of pollutant emission was also done by use of advanced technology and investments. Based on this case. It was shown that industrial symbiosis through eco-industrial complex in Korea was confronted with many difficulties. First of all., loose emmision criteria, recycling system on wastes, and the absence of will for industrial symbiosis should be solved in Korea.

Purpose : The purpose of this review is to evaluate the possibility of panoramic radiography as a national oral examination tool. Materials and Methods : This report was carried out by review of the literatures. Results : Panoramic radiography has sufficient diagnostic accuracy in dental caries, periodontal diseases, and other lesions. Also, the effective dose of panoramic radiography is lower than traditional full-mouth periapical radiography. Conclusion : Panoramic radiography will improve the efficacy of dental examination in national oral examination. However, more studies are required to evaluate the benefit, financial cost, and operation time and also to make selection criteria and quality management program.

Children are not small adults and there is a need to carry out specific trials that cannot be performed in adults. In general, children (minors) are unable to consent but their assent should be obtained using age appropriate information. Institutional Review Board (IRB) need paediatric expertise to balance the benefits and risks of research in children. The lack of consent has implications on the design, analysis and the choice of comparators used in the trials, which should only be performed by trained investigators with paediatric experience. Pain, fear, distress and parental separation should be prevented and minimised when unavoidable. The children requires even more careful review. Children represent a vulnerable population with developmental, physiological and psychological differences from adults, which make age- and development- related research important for their benefit. Finally, criteria for the protection of children in clinical trials therefore need to be laid down. Specific protection should be defined for research performed in children, at all stages and ages.

So far, to answer this question, companies are not sufficiently supported by suitable methods specially in the area of disassembly process planning. For this reason, we develop in collaboration with an industrial partner a new method for generating an optimal disassembly sequence. In the presented paper this method will be described in detail by considering the exiting assembly information, disassembly method and disassembly depth. PLM (Profit-Loss Margin) curve that is used to determine disassembly depth consists of profit value, disassembly cost and disassembly effect. Using assessment parameters, generated alternative disassembly sequences are evaluated and optimal disassembly sequence is proposed. This method is applied to generate the optimal disassembly sequence of Door Trim as an example.

Frequency transposition (FT) hearing system was designed for individuals with little or no residual hearing at high frequencies. This device compresses and shifts the wide-band, high frequency acoustic energy where important features for speech perception are concentrated to the audible, lower range of frequencies. The usefulness of the FT system was investigated for 12 patients (7 children and 5 adults) with severe-to-profound sensorineural hearing losses compared with conventional hearing aids. Results suggest that the hearing impaired can benefit from the FT system with appropriate selection criteria and auditory (re)habilitation program.
