  • Clinical and epedemiologic studies of coronary heart disease(CHD)have from time to time over the last three decades found associations between prevalence of CHD and behavioral attributes and cigarette smoking. The main purpose of this study is reduced to major risk factor of coronary heart disease through prohibition of smoking and control of behavior pattern. The subjects consisted of 120 smokers and 90 non-smokers who were married men older than 30 years working in officers. The officers were surveyed by means of questionnaire September 26 through October 6, 1989. The Instruments used for this study was a self-administered measurement tool composed of 59 items was made through modifications of Jenkuns Activity Survery(JAS). The Data were analysed by SAS(Statistical Analsis System) program personal computer. The statistical technique used for this study were Frequency, x$^2$-test, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson Correlation Coefficient. The 15 items were chosen with items above 0.3 of the factor loading in the factor analysis. In the first factor analysis 19 factors were extracted and accounted for 86% of the total variance. However when the number of factors were limited to 3 in order to derive Jenkins classification, three factors were derived. There names are Job-Involvement, Speed & Impatience, Hard-Driving. Each of them includes 21 items, 21 and 9, respectively. The results of this study were as follow : 1. The score of the smoker group and non-smoker group in Job-Involvement(t=5.7147, p<0.0001), Speed & Impatience(t=4.6756, p<.0001), Hard-Driving(t=8.0822, p<.0001) and total type A behavior pattern showed statistically significant differences(t=8.1224, p<.0001). 2. The score of type A behavior pattern by number of cigarettes smoked daily were not statistically significant differences. 3. The score of type A behavior pattern by duration of smoking were not significant differences. It was concluded that the relationship between smokers and non - smokers of type A behavior pattern was statistically significant difference but number of cigarettes smoked daily and duration of smoking were not significant differences. Therefore this study is needed to adequate nursing intervention of type A behavior pattern in order to elevated to educational effect for prohibition of cigarette smoking.

  • This study analyzes the structural relationships among communication pattern of leader, followers' trust in leader, organizational commitment and innovative behavior. In order to analyze hypotheses, the survey was collected by distributing questionnaire to 250 workers in small and medium-sized companies. As a result, total 213 workers participated in the survey and their rates were included for the test process. The collected data analyzed structural equation modeling, a statistical program. The results of this study are as follows; First, supportive and reflective communication pattern of leader have meaningful positive influences on followers'trust in leader. Directive communication pattern of leader, by contrast, is negatively related to followers'trust in leader. Second, followers'trust in leader has a positive impact on organizational commitment. Third, organizational commitment has a positive effect on followers'innovative behavior. Based on these results, it can be said that followers'trust in leader is more important for boosting organizational commitment and innovative behavior because it has a positive effect on organizational commitment with supportive or reflective communication behavior of leader. Therefore, this study proposes practical benefits to leaders regarding how to display communication process and trust quality more effectively. Future studies are required to investigate the research agendas on the issues between communication patterns and innovative behavior.

  • This study was attempted to provide the basic data concerning development of stress management program for hospital nurses, and to focused on the analysis of job stress and social support according to the types of behavior pattern. The subjects were 296 staff nurses at a general hospital in Seoul. Data were collected with self-reported questionnaires and analyzed by SPSS-PC+ 8.0 win for descriptive analysis and ANOVA analysis. The results of this study indicated that; 1) The perceived job stress was negatively correlated with social support and was positively correlated with TABP. 2) The score of the perceived job stress was higher in TABP nurses than TBBP. The TABP nurses usually perceived more support from peers than from supervisors These results showed that the staff nurses who supported from supervisor felt less stress, and the score of the perceived job stress was higher in TABP nurses than in TBBP. So the differences in social support and job stress according to the types of behavior pattern must be considered significantly in development of the staff nurses' stress management program. Also it was needed to develop the strategies that TABP nurses was effectively supported by the supervisor.

  • Product recommendation services that have been researched recently are only recommended through the customer's product purchase history. In this paper, we propose the digital signage service through customers' behavior pattern analysis that is recommending through not only purchase history, but also behavior pattern that customers take when choosing products. This service analyzes customer behavior patterns and extracts interests about products that are of practical interest. The service is learning extracted interest rate and customers' purchase history through the Wide & Deep model. Based on this learning method, the sparse vector of other products is predicted through the MF(Matrix Factorization). After derive the ranking of predicted product interest rate, this service uses the indoor signage that can interact with customers to expose the suitable advertisements. Through this proposed service, not only online, but also in an offline environment, it would be possible to grasp customers' interest information. Also, it will create a satisfactory purchasing environment by providing suitable advertisements to customers, not advertisements that advertisers randomly expose.

  • Recently, the incidence rate of malicious codes is over tens of thousands of cases, and it is known that it is almost impossible to detect/respond all of them. This study proposes a method for detecting multiple behavior patterns based on a graph database as a new method for dealing with malicious codes. Traditional dynamic analysis techniques and has applied a method to design and analyze graphs of representative associations malware pattern(process, PE, registry, etc.), another new graph model. As a result of the pattern verification, it was confirmed that the behavior of the basic malicious pattern was detected and the variant attack behavior(at least 5 steps), which was difficult to analyze in the past. In addition, as a result of the performance analysis, it was confirmed that the performance was improved by about 9.84 times or more compared to the relational database for complex patterns of 5 or more steps.

  • In this paper, we propose a behavior pattern analysis method for users tasking on hands-on security exercise missions. By analysing and evaluating the observed user behavior data, the proposed method discovers some significant patterns able to contribute mission successes or fails. A Markov chain modeling approach and algorithm is used to automate the whole analysis process. How to apply and understand our proposed method is briefly shown through a case study, "network service configurations for secure web service operation".

  • This paper propose a temporal histogram -based behavior pattern analysis algorithm to analyze the movement features of moving objects from the image inputted in real-time. For the purpose of tracking and analysis of moving objects, it needs to be performed background learning which separated moving objects from the background. Moving object is extracted as a background learning after identifying the object by using the center of gravity and the coordinate correlation is performed by the object tracking. The start frame of each of the tracked object, the end frame, the coordinates information and size information are stored and managed by the linked list. Temporal histogram defines movement features pattern using x, y coordinates based on time axis, it compares each coordinates of objects for understanding its movement features and behavior pattern. Behavior pattern analysis system based on temporal histogram confirmed high tracking rate over 95% with sustaining high processing speed 45~50fps through the demo experiment.

  • In this study, to achieve the optimal conditions for mechanical hyper-fine pattern fabrication process, deformation behavior of the materials during indentation was studied with numerical method by ABAQUS S/W. Polymer (PMMA) and brittle materials (Si, Pyrex glass) were used as specimens, and forming conditions to reduce the elastic recover and pile-up was proposed. The indenter was modeled a 3D rigid surface. Minimum mesh sizes of specimens are 1-10nm. Comparison between the experimental data and numerical result demonstrated that the finite element approach is capable of reproducing the loading-unloading behavior of a nanoindentation test. The result of the investigation will be applied to the fabrication of the hyper-fine pattern.

  • This study investigates the effects of the spatial elements of the mulit-purpose commercial complex on visitors' circulation pattern and wayfinding by employing method of space syntax, observation, and interview survey. Two commercial complexes were investigated; Techno-mart represented a vertical type and COEX mall rendered a horizontal one. Analysis of the spatial elements using space-syntax method provided a base line for comparing analyses by the two other methods. Analysis of the interview additionally survey identified the factors affecting wayfinding behavior and contributing satisfaction. The findings suggest that level of the effects of the spatial configuration on visitors' circulation pattern is greater in Techno-mart(vertically oriented) than COEX(horizontally). In COEX, for instance, specific route that connects sub-way station and cinema complex carries far more traffic than main route, even though the main route indicates higher degree of integration of spatial configuration. Similar with observation, the degree of integration is corresponding with the satisfaction and easiness of wayfinding behavior In COEX, specific place and feature seem to have more effects on visitors' wayfinding behavior and circulation pattern than the level of integration of spatial configuration.
