The results of this study were as follows: consumer attitude was found to be somewhat favorable and a half of the respondents had some purchasing experience of high-tech products. Many consumers were more likely to perceive consumption emotion and some of coping strategies were found to be preferred to others. Then consumer attitude was found to be significantly influenced by some of the consumption emotion, while other individual characteristics were found to be insignificant. In addition, the purchasing experience was found to be significantly influenced by consumer attitude, marital status and education. Finally, each kind of consumption emotion might have a relation to several coping strategies.

  • This study aims to make clear how consumer's characteristic and involvement in infant's clothing effect on the purchasing behavior. Using questionnaire as a researching tool, I collected the date from 366 housewives who live in Seoul and have kids aged from two to six year-old. The results of the study were as follows : First, they showed a significance on the correlation between sub-variants of involvement in their child's clothing like interest, importance and cognition of danger and those of purchasing behavior like directions to trademark, beauty and practicality, and so that, ti was realized that the involvement have a great effect on their purchasing behavior like. This was of the same opinion that when they think economic significance seriously, they also think practical function importantly. It seems that such a result derived from the fact that infant's clothing is most involved in practicality and economy rather than in trademark, beauty and popularity which are important on adult's clothing because infant's growth is so rapid that it requires to change sooner. Second, as for the correlation between the involvement in their child's clothing and the purchasing behavior according with the consumer's characteristics, they showed a significant correlation according with the consumer's characteristics like husband's profession, average monthly income and monthly expense to purchase infant's clothing. I found, therefore, economic factors like husband's profession, average monthly income and monthly expense to purchase infant's clothing were of most important. It suggests that the higher the consumer's income is, the grater it have an effect on the purchasing behavior.

Data were randomly collected from 2,381 U.S. online consumer review users through an online survey. The findings from multiple regression analyses revealed the different effects of the need for cognitive closure dimensions (i.e., preference for order and structure, preference for predictability, discomfort with ambiguity, closed-mindedness, and decisiveness) and demographic characteristics on consumer attitudes, perceived online review influence, benefits, persuasiveness, and review usage behavior. Finally, practical implications and prospects for future research are discussed.

  • The purpose of this study aims to investigate how consumer awareness and purchasing behavior are affected by the type of animosity against the nation. This study classified animosity into three categories: sociocultural, economic, and war-based. Additionally, the consumer's cognition toward animosity was split into two categories-empathic concernt and personal distress-and the direction of consumption behavior was split into two categories-individual brand avoidance behavior and collective bandwagon behavior. The concept of Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) was introduced for the direction of consumption behavior, further validating the moderating impact. Structural equation modeling method was used to measure the general consumption behvior of Korean consumers' animosity. The results were analyzed using a total of 279 samples. As a result, animosity motivated by war and by economics had a substantial impact on empathic concern, while animosity motivated by socioculture had a significant impact on personal distress. Personal distress had a good impact on an individual's brand antipathy behavior, which in turn led to brand dislike and avoidance. Empathic concern also had a positive impact on the phenomena of group sympathy, which leads to identification of conduct and social conformity. Also, it was proven that the group that had a high level of FoMO reacted strongly to the phenomenon of group collective behavior.
