The Effects of the Talent Types on Purchasing Behavior of Beauty-Service products

  • This study aims to examine the effect of talent types on the purchasing behaviour of beauty-service products in 367 adults(female and male). The present study is the first to consider both talent types and the purchasing behaviour of beauty-service products correlates to appearance management behaviour. Frequency analysis showed that the mean of 8 talent types of 367 participants was 3.324. The highest talent type of 367 participants was interpersonal talent, the lowest talent type was logical-mathematical talent among 8 talent types. There were statistically significant relationships between the talent types(specially, bodily-kinesthetic talent and interpersonal talent) and the purchasing criteria of beauty-service products on the correlation analysis. And the effects of 8 talent types on the purchasing frequency of 4 beauty-service products were significant on the regression analysis, specifically, the results showed that the most significant among 8 talent factors was the interpersonal talent, next, the bodily-kinesthetic was. Thus, the more purchasing frequency of beauty-services products, the higher interpersonal talent were, and the better affinity with others were. As a results, the interpersonal talent factor and bodily-kinesthetic talent factor among 8 talent factors were ultimately affecting the appearance management behaviour. The higher the score, it was concluded that the subject was more active in beauty-related behavior. Conclusively, the appearance is a form of personal asset for one's self-fulfillment, and strong and beautiful appearance is a medium to improve self-esteem and dominance. It is possessing a significant influence in personal satisfaction, self-identity, and social success.

  • Today, SPA fills many of the same needs as they did thousands of years ago, including relaxation, wellness and stress relief by incorporating many of the same methods embraced by the ancients such as a multitude of hydrotherapy treatments, thalassotherapy and massage therapy, one of the most widely used SPA treatments. The definition is as follows: SPA is entities devoted to enhancing overall well-being through a variety of professional services that encourage the renewal of mind, body and spirit. It was from here that the concept of modernday SPA evolved, incorporating full health and beauty services along with sport, aquatic and rest facilities. Todays SPA, a absolute concept, is being specialized and spread as fast as undefinable just in a word. Thalassotherapy, a kind of SPA therapy, contains minerals and trace elements. Born more than 4,000 years ago in ancient Egypt, thalassotherapy comes from the Greek words for thalasso(sea water) and therapeia(to heal). Thalassa was the Greek personification of the Mediterranean Sea that surrounded them and gave them so much of their sustenance. It helps to nourish, hydrate and refine skin texture and also eliminate metabolic waste and toxins in the body. Thalassotherapy is recommended for post-natal and postsurgery recovery period, chronic fatigue, circulatory problems, cellulite control and dermatological problems. It's also possible to enjoy the thalassotherapy SPA as a day guest. Be sure to try the jansu massage, given in the heated sea water pool. 미용실 서비스 속성이 고객 만족과 충성도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Service Attributes on Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty in Beauty Salon)

  • Purpose: In beauty industry, service quality is very critical, because it impacts on the customer's positive attitude and behavior to the beauty salon or beauty brand. Thus, this research examines the effects of service attributes on customer satisfaction and loyalty in beauty salon. This research suggests the guidelines for how beauty salons should manage their physical environment, price policy, professional skills, and employees that improve management and business performance. Research design, data, and methodology: This study examines the structural relationship between service attributes, customer satisfaction, and loyalty. Service attributes divide into four sub-dimensions such as servicescape, price service, technical service, and employee service. In order to test the purposes of this research, research model and hypotheses were developed. All constructs were measured with multiple items developed and examined in previous studies. A total of 160 questionnaires were distributed and collected, and 150 were used for analysis except 10 that were unresponsive or unfaithful. The data were analyzed using SPSS 22.0 and SmartPLS 3.0 statistical package program. Result: The results of this research are as follows. First, all sub-dimensions of service attributes such as servicescape, price service, technical service, and employee service have significant positive impacts on satisfaction. Second, customer satisfaction have significant impact on loyalty. Conclusions: This study suggests an integrated model of the relationship that the characteristics of beauty salon service attributes affect customer loyalty through satisfaction, and suggests how to manage and allocate limited resources in the beauty industry. The findings of this research indicate that the level of customer satisfaction is shown to be increased by servicescape, technical characteristics, value of money, and human attributes. Thus, beauty salon management should focus on the relationship with their customers how to improve customer loyalty through satisfaction. The quality of beauty service influences customer's attitudes and behaviors toward beauty salon. Considering the beauty business, where the quality and customer satisfaction of beauty services are determined by the hairdresser's beauty skills,, the beauty salons must find ways to improve their skills and new trend of hair style. If beauty salon customers perceive the high quality of beauty service, they revisit beauty salon and recommend it to others.

미용종사자의 회복탄력성과 행복지수 및 직무만족도의 상관관계연구 (Study of Correlations Resilience of the Beauty Industry Employees and Job Satisfaction and Happiness Index)

  • 미용 산업은 다른 어떤 산업보다도 미용종사자의 전문적인 노동에 의존하고 있다. 이러한 미용종사자는 고객과 직접 접촉하고 지극히 세심한 배려를 요하는 서비스업으로 서비스의 접점에 있는 종사자의 행복감은 미용 산업의 성장에 가장 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 미용종사자의 회복탄력성, 행복지수, 직무만족 분석을 통해 고객의 만족만을 강조하는 서비스 산업에서 서비스업의 성공여부는 서비스 종사자를 통해 이루어 질 수 있다는 새로운 패러다임을 제시하고자 했다. 본 연구에서 미용종사자의 회복탄력성과 행복지수 및 직무만족도의 상관관계를 가설을 통해 검증해본 결과 미용종사자의 회복탄력성은 행복지수와 직무만족에, 행복지수는 직무만족과 회복탄력성에, 직무만족은 회복탄력성과 행복지수에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결국 개인의 행복이 증대되면 직무에 대한 만족이 증대되고 직무의 성과도 높아지게 되므로 미용 산업의 발전을 위해서는 미용인의 행복을 증진시킬 수 있는 방안에 대한 고려가 필요할 것으로 보인다.

남성 세분시장별 이.미용서비스 만족도와 재방문 의도의 비교 (Comparison on Satisfaction and Intention to Revisit among Men's Beauty Service Markets)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify men's beauty service markets based on socio-cultural appearance attitude and to compare their satisfaction and intention to revisit beauty service. The study was done by survey method. Data of three hundred men aged from 20's to 40's were collected by on-line survey. Descriptive analyses, factor analyses, cluster analyses, Duncan tests, multiple regressions, and path analyses were applied. The results are as follows: First, five factors were found for men's socio-cultural attitude for their appearance. They were high involvement in appearance, social appearance, appearance satisfaction, appearance comparison and low involvement in appearance. Second, cluster analysis based on socio-cultural attitude produced three customer groups such as high involvement, social concern & satisfaction, and low involvement. Third, customer groups showed significant differences in some demographics and some items of service dimensions, which resulted in significant differences in satisfaction, and intention to revisit beauty shop services. A high involvement group was composed of young and unmarried men with more frequent visit to beauty shop service. In general, both the high involvement and the social concern & satisfaction groups showed higher evaluations than the low concern group in some of service items, level of satisfaction, and intention to revisit. In conclusion, attitude on their appearance could be useful factors in segmenting men's beauty service market. Levels and types of beauty shop service should be differentiated among consumer markets.

창업가 기업가정신 요인, 경영 관리적 요인, 자본적 요인이 창업성과에 미치는 영향 연구: 미용서비스업 분야 소상공인지원정책의 개선방향 중심으로 (A Study on the Influence of Personal Characteristics, Business Management Factors, and Capital Factors on Entrepreneurial Performance: In the Center of Ameliorating Small Businesses Supporting Policy by Government in Beauty Service Industry)

  • 본 연구는 창업가 개인적 특성 요인, 경영 관리적 요인, 자본적 요인, 점포요인이 창업성과에 미치는 영향을 통하여 미용서비스업 분야의 소상공인지원정책이 창업성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 미용서비스업체의 창업성과에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 경영 관리적 요인의 하위변수인 인적자원관리와 창업초기 자본적 요인 그리고 점포요인이 창업성과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 미용서비스업체의 창업성과에 정부지원정책인 자금지원정책, 교육지원정책, 컨설팅지원정책이 조절효과가 있는가에 관한 연구내용은 다음과 같다. 정부자금지원정책, 교육지원정책, 컨설팅지원정책은 창업성과에 유의한 영향을 미치는 인적자원관리, 창업초기 자본금, 점포요인에 조절효과는 없는 것으로 분석되었다. 이는 자금지원이 정책적 효과를 입증하기 위한 제도적 지원이 아니라 창업자의 창업성과를 만들어가는 실효성 있는 지원방안이 필요로 하며, 교육지원정책과 컨설팅지원정책은 미용서비스업체의 특성을 고려한 정책적인 반영과 현실적인 교육지원과 컨설팅지원이 필요로 하다고 본다. 특히, 기존의 소상공인의 정책적 지원과는 다른 미용서비스업체의 실질적인 경영활동과 성과창출 과정을 반영하는 방향으로 확대될 필요가 있다고 하겠다.

K-뷰티(K-Beauty) 검색량이 수출과 관광에 미치는 영향: Google과 YouTube 검색 데이터 분석을 중심으로 (The Impact of K-Beauty Search Volumes on Export and Tourism: Based on the Google Search and YouTube Page View)

  • 본 연구는 한류를 이끌어갈 새로운 성장 동력으로써 K-뷰티(K-Beauty)의 경제적 영향력을 파악하고자 하였다. K-뷰티 콘텐츠가 주로 온라인을 기반으로 확산된다는 점을 고려하여 K-뷰티에 대한 관심과 관여도를 파악할 수 있는 변수로 검색 빅데이터에 주목하였다. 이에 2008년부터 2016년까지 9년간 K-뷰티에 대한 웹 검색량과 유튜브 검색량을 독립변수로, 화장품 수출액과 외래관광객 수를 종속변수로 설정하였으며 GDP와 국가 거리를 통제변수로 하는 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, K-뷰티 관련 구글 웹 검색량은 통제변인의 영향 유무와 관계없이 화장품 수출액에 정적인 영향을 미치며, 외래관광객 수에도 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 유튜브 검색량은 화장품 수출액에는 정적영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나 외래관광객 수에는 유의미한 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 신한류 콘텐츠로서 K-뷰티에 대한 영향력을 검증하고 웹 검색량과 유튜브 검색량이 경제적 지표에 미치는 영향력을 실증적으로 검증하였다. 이러한 분석결과를 기반으로 향후 K-뷰티 홍보 방안에 대한 전략에 대해 논하였다.

미용학원의 교육 서비스 품질이 수강 만족도와 교육성과에 미치는 영향요인에 관한 융합연구 (The Convergence Study on the Factors Influencing Quality of Education Service on the Satisfaction and Performance of the Course at the Beauty Academy)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 미용학원을 대상으로 전반적인 교육 서비스 품질 요인에 대한 연구를 통하여 수강생들의 수강 만족도와 교육성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 분석하는 융합연구이다. 연구 대상은 서울, 경기, 인천 지역 미용학원에서 수강중인 10~40대를 대상으로 2020년 3월 29일부터 4월 12일까지 설문을 진행하여 377부의 설문을 분석하여 연구에 활용하였다. 자료분석은 연구 목적에 맞추어 SPSSWIN 21.0 프로그램을 이용하여 다중 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 교육 서비스 품질의 공감성과 신뢰성, 대응성, 유형성, 확신성이 높을수록 수강만족도가 높았다. 수강만족도가 높을수록 교육성과가 높았다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 미용학원의 수강만족도와 교육성과를 높일 수 있는 교육서비스 품질향상 방안은 교육방법과 교육내용을 다양화하고 교육품질과 서비스의 전문성을 높여 교육의 질과 만족도를 향상하여야 한다. 교육의 전문성을 강화하여 경쟁력 향상을 하여야 한다. 따라서 향후 수강만족도와 교육성과를 높이기 위한 다양한 프로그램개발과 미용교육 서비스 품질을 높이기 위한 교육 방법을 개발하는 후속 연구가 필요하다.

중소 서비스기업의 해외시장진출 결정요인에 관한 실증분석 : 대구.경북지역 미용서비스업 중심으로 (An Empirical Analysis on the Determinants of Entry into Foreign Markets of Small- and Medium- sized Service Firms : Focused on Korean Beauty Industry)

  • Service industries nowadays have become the subject of a scientific research. However, unlike research on manufacturing, there has not yet been a broader presentation of important aspects theoretically and methodologically. The importance of service sector in both national and global economies has grown significantly. An active participation of service industries in the internationalization process, notably by licensing and FDI, has occurred over time. But a few sub-sectors still dominate on this process, for example, financial institutions such as banks, securities, and insurance as well as producer services in advertising and accounting. On the other hand, personal services that are owned by small- and medium- sized firm have limited capabilities in their transnational transfer. This paper attempts to examine various factors influencing decisions for these small- and medium- sized Korean beauty firms in entering to the foreign markets. Determining factors for these firms in the engagement of internationalization depends largely on competitive advantages in both domestic and host countries, and they may be different from those in the sub-sectors mentioned above. Based on previous researches, i identified three categories of independent variables(characteristics of firms, managers, and competition) that can influence decisions to enter to the foreign markets. Seven hypotheses have been tested by using a sample of beauty firms in Daegu city and Kyungbuk province. The results show that the intention of these firms to enter to the foreign markets is significantly influenced by the factors of the innovative character of CEO's, the competitiveness of firms, and size of firms.
