  • The purpose of this study was to understand and define the health-promotion behavior of adolescents in Korea. This study collected data from twelve high school students using group and individual in-depth interviews. Data were analyzed qualitative study with grounded theory method by Strauss and Corbin(1998). As for the study result, the core phenomenon was the Lifestyle without health promotion and the mediation conditions for controlling were Parents' Care for Health, Friends with Health Behavior, and lack of exercise environment, and the action/interection strategy to correspond to this situation was Strengthening the will to practice health promotion, Imitate a friend with a nice body, Learning parental health behavior. This study will serve as basic data in developing health promotion programs for the practice health promoting behaviors of high school students.

  • This study explored the lifelong education field experience of adult college students. For this purpose, a qualitative case study was conducted with 5 adult college students from November 17, 2020 to May 14, 2021 through practical diaries, assignment analysis and in-depth interviews. As a result of the study, we discovered two things. First, the lifelong education field practice experience is a 'mountain to overcome! Lifelong education field practice', 'expansion of awareness of lifelong education', 'confidence field practice', and 'A picture is worth a thousand words'were revealed. Second, the meaning of the lifelong education field experience is 'formation of a learning community through teamwork with colleagues', 'realization that people are the core of the lifelong education', 'changes in the professional identity of the lifelong education history', and 'The life of a lifelong learning practitioner who wants to challenge' life' was revealed. These results will lead field training participants to grow qualitatively, and can be used as basic data for securing professional expertise and providing quality field training. A follow-up study was proposed for adult college students who belong to other colleges.

  • This study is a qualitative study that explores the essential meaning of nursing through a simulation curriculum targeting nursing students. In this study, 18 students, who were 4th grade nursing students at a university in M city, Gyeongsangbuk-do, completed a simulation during the curriculum. Data collection was done through free-form reports and interviews to help students understand the part of nursing they thought through simulation classes. The collected data was analyzed using Krippendorff's phenomenological method. As a result of analyzing the meaning of nursing through simulation class, 3 categories, 10 topics, and 28 meaningful statements were derived. The three categories were derived as 'virtual nursing', 'thinking nursing', and 'together nursing'. As a result of this study, nursing students were seeking their own solution to solve nursing in unpredictable situations based on the philosophy of nursing through virtual simulation. It is expected that this will be used as basic data to develop various and in-depth simulation education programs in the future.

  • The purpose of this study was to describe and understand experiences of surgical ward practice in nursing students. The interview data were collected from 9 nursing students and analyzed by using descriptive phenomenology of Colazzi. The procedural steps was that described the phenomenon of interest, collected participants' descriptions of the phenomenon, extracted the meaning of significant statement, organized the meaning into them clusters, wrote exhaustive descriptions and then incorporated data into categories. The essential meanings of surgical ward practice experiences of nursing students were as following; 'Permission of direct nursing practice', 'Professionality of nursing domain', 'Serving as a stepping stone of patients' nursing', and 'Sense of achievement to participating nursing'. The results of this study would provide for basic data of surgical ward practice program and have important implication for understanding field practice in nursing. So would contribute to develop nursing practice curriculum.

  • Rurban house is the place to satisfy man's the most basic desires to live and dwell. In this study , the composing Type of the outer space and its connection with the innerspace are researched. And also it investigated how various environmental factors are reflected in the rurban housing development. As Louis Kahn said, "Archiecture is the thoughtful for-mation the space and the endless transformation of architec-ture is derived from the change of space idea." In the recent days, It is true that the qualitative aspect of a rurban house rather than the quantitative one has empha-sized. As man cannot make a living when seperated from the nature, the currents of life in the rurban house should be flowed into the new environmental change.

  • Objectives: This study aimed to provide basic information for the trend of individual-authorization on functional food materials in Korea to side of Korean medicine. Methods: Approval of materials for individual-authorized functional food in Korea was analyzed from 2004 to August 2015 using database from Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS), regarding the kinds of function, materials and their functional level by year. Results: Korean functional food market has rapidly grown to 1.56 trillion Won in 2014, with about 10% of annual growth rate. In particular, the increase of individual-authorized functional food is worth of notices, in detail 313 kinds of functional materials covering 31 body functions have been approved by August 2015. 15.7% of individual-authorized functional foods have used the herbal materials. This quantitative and qualitative expansion of functional foods, especially of individual-authorized functional foods, will affect the herbal drug industry negatively. Conclusion: This study figured out the current pattern of material approval for individual-authorized functional food in Korea, which would be essential in development of strategies by Korean medicine community in order to overcome such conditions.

  • The degradation characteristics versus MgO Additive for the ZnO ceramic devices fabricated by the standard ceramic techniques is investigated in this study. It were made these devices be basic Matsuoka's composition. Especially, MgO were added to analyze the degradation characteristics and sintered in air at 1300$^{\circ}C$. The conditions of DC degradation test were 115${\pm}$2$^{\circ}C$ for 12h. Using XRD and SEM, the phase and microstructure of samples were analyzed respectively. The elemental analysis in the microstructures was used by EDS, E-J analysis was used to determine ${\alpha}$ . Frequency analysis was accomplished to understand the relationship between R$\sub$g/ and $R_{b}$ with the electric stress at the equivalent circuit.

Methods: From December 30, 2015 to February 22, 2016 data were collected through in-depth individual interviews and analyzed using Colaizzi's phenomenological method. Participants were 11 clinical nurses and 2 head nurses. Results: Nurses' experience related to inpatients' falls were categorized as follows: 'emotional impact after falls', 'responsibility for falls', 'changes after experience of falls', 'burden of reporting falls', 'difficulty in preventing falls', 'seeking new strategies for fall prevention' Conclusion: The findings from this study suggest that there is a need to develop programs to help nurses overcome the emotional impact of falls. Also education should be provided to patients, caregivers and health providers in order to prevent falls and improve patient safety.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify students' alternative frameworks about tide concept, to investigate some characters of them and students' understanding types with increasing grade in secondary school earth science course. The objective questionnaire method was used, and the subjects of this study are 528 students selected randomly in secondary school. The results are as follow. 1) Thirteen alternative frameworks about tide concept, related to the phase change of the moon and the motion of the earth are identified. 2) The alternative frameworks needed mechanical and causal reasoning have the trend reinforced or sophisticated with increasing the grade. And alternative frameworks needed phenomenal and mechanical, phenomenal and causal reasoning are changed little but ones needed phenomenal, variative and basic reasoning change scientifically. The rates of the alternative frameworks needed definitional, empirical, phenomenal reasoning decrease at the learning grade of that concept but increase after that grade. 3) Middle school students have the definitional, phenomenal, empirical and qualitative understanding types but high school students have the causal, analytic, quantitative and mechanical ones on tide concept.

A quantitative & qualitative analysis method of th 260 house plan was used in this study. The followings were found out from this analysis : 1) There were the differences of the lay-out and the number of public spaces between a small type and a big type. 2) There were the differences of the equipment and the number of bathroom between a small type and a big type. 3) The most work center type of kitchen was 'ㄴ+ㅁ' type(33%). 4) The most type of floor plan was that one with attached garage(87%) and center entry(99%). 5) Almost floor plans having 3 or 4 bed rooms even though medium II and large size plans which is to show that the basic needs of family life rely on the omnifarious public spaces.
