  • The diffusion-based salient object detection methods have shown excellent detection results and more efficient computation in recent years. However, the current diffusion-based salient object detection methods still have disadvantage of detecting the object appearing at the image boundaries and different scales. To address the above mentioned issues, this paper proposes a multi-scale diffusion-based salient object detection algorithm with background and objectness seeds. In specific, the image is firstly over-segmented at several scales. Secondly, the background and objectness saliency of each superpixel is then calculated and fused in each scale. Thirdly, manifold ranking method is chosen to propagate the Bayessian fusion of background and objectness saliency to the whole image. Finally, the pixel-level saliency map is constructed by weighted summation of saliency values under different scales. We evaluate our salient object detection algorithm with other 24 state-of-the-art methods on four public benchmark datasets, i.e., ASD, SED1, SED2 and SOD. The results show that the proposed method performs favorably against 24 state-of-the-art salient object detection approaches in term of popular measures of PR curve and F-measure. And the visual comparison results also show that our method highlights the salient objects more effectively.

Thirdly, Fomarlism Art to Wear of Deformation breaks analysis from balance and symmetry showing extreme transformation nil new vitality. Fourthly, Formalism Art to Wear of Space Extension experiments with post-corporeality. Post-corporeality centers the human body extension that is open to various boundaries of implosion and electronic technologies, providing us with a new Cyborg of the digital body.

Research design, data and methodology: The current research conducted the following stages to conduct a thorough literature analysis on the issues that plague Oriental art gallery practitioners and the methods used to increase sales of this kind of art: Finding Valuable Resources and Subjects, Screening and Selection of Articles, Data Extraction and Analysis, Synthesis of Findings. Results: After reviewing the many aspects that affect the success of a gallery specializing in Oriental art, there were four key approaches that have emerged for boosting sales of this kind of artwork. Based on the findings, these approaches are grounded in four areas: consumer preferences; marketing methods; pricing strategies; and art investments. Conclusions: All in all, the current study finally indicates that practitioners should consider cultural background, age, gender, income, and level of education when developing marketing strategies and selecting artwork to exhibit. Target marketing is an effective method for attracting and retaining customers.

  • For us, any regional art exist? Almost all art events today take place mostly in Seoul. Concentrating on the reinforcement of its power, the regional art world remains isolated without any connection with the Seoul art community. It is completely closed off from the central art scene. The regional art world seems to consider that more helpful in consolidating its status. It is in real sense suffering the absence of art criticism and art media, lack of an understanding of art and backwardness of art education. Many regional artists are dreaming of moving out from their domain, aspiring to be a member of the central art world. They make an effort to assimilate into a refined, modern style of the central art circle, rather than striving to create works imbued with regionality and locality. As the artists living in the provinces, the characteristics of their district should be above all else reflected in their art. Although they are less informed about the latest trend of culture and art, their art has to be something passionately and obstinately embodying the intrinsic quality of their regions. They have to find a practical solution more positively, instead of merely complaining about the poor condition of the regional art community. There is the need to bring about a turnabout in our awareness that regional art is confined to any limit and cannot be in the center of the entire art world. What' s most significant is to dissolve factionalism and not to depend on school ties or regional networks. As a reaction against authoritarianism, regional art has to put emphasis on attaining its originality. For this, regional art should respect regional tradition, history and background and break away from an old convention of wielding power.

  • From the beginning of the twentieth century, 'Modernism' impacted and transformed art and clothing. Pablo Picasso and Gabrielle 'Coco' Chanel were two of the most central characters in Modernism working simultaneously in their disciplines. Picasso's innovations, particularly in abstract art and Chanel's fashion designs, that dramatically departed from the previous corseted and highly decorative styles, were so significant that they have left an influence on contemporary art and fashion. This study will compare their visual works and documented evidence of their motivations, within the context of their cultural backgrounds, to reveal meaning in the occurrences of overlaps. This approach has examined the historical, cultural background of the artist and designer's environment from different perspectives, adding to previous research in this area. Through this research, outcomes of the analysis have shown similarities and divergences in the wider genres of art and fashion and the practice of the artist and fashion designer. The reference list to this text, used in the survey, gives a comprehensive overview of pertinent publications disseminating Picasso and Chanel's visual works, oral perspectives and cultural impact.

  • In this study I made an analysis on the background of creating of Minimal Art and thought of its artists during 1950~1960 and their works. Starting from the early Modernism that tried to depict the life of farmers and laborers in the chaos of war and viewing the art as the tools describing the life itself, minimal art took its root as furniture in ordinary life passing through the era of Surrealism and Dadaism. In 20th century, furniture designers were trying to seek new trend of modern furniture in the perspective of balance and immaculateness while excluding emotion and overall feeling through minimalism. These efforts result in the introduction of immaculateness and refinement in furniture design. Hence, this study is to represent a new trend of furniture design utilizing the margin of furniture in complex lives through formative characteristics that minimal art beholds.
