The Korean society has become increasingly concerned about the safety consciousness because of the Sewol Ferry disaster in April 2014. This shows the absence of social system and safety consciousness of Korean society that has been rapidly growing through fast industrialization. The purpose of this paper is to suggest guidelines for the production of a safety animation by approaching the discourse of public value. For this research process, first, literature review will be conducted by focusing on the safety culture, causes of safety accidents, safety education and educational effect using animation. Second, I will analyze 11 safety animation films by focusing on (1) construction of accident environment(narrative, character and background design) (2) exploration of dangerous elements and accident happening(accident type and dangerous elements, method of direction for accident happening, damage degree) (3) the guideline for safety behaviour. Third, guidelines for the production of safety animation will be suggested by analyzing the results of literature reviews and case studies in a comprehensive way. It is expected that this paper will be used as a basic data for academic research and animation production related to the safety accident.
The purpose of this study was to observe characteristic properties through the polarization curves and EMPA images from 4 different types of amalgam obtained by using the potentiostats (EG & G PARC) & EPMA (Jeol JSM-35), to investigate the degree of corrosion of each phase of amalgam on the oxidation peak, and to identify corrosion products from the corroded amalgam by use of X-ray diffractometer(Rigaku). After each amlgam alloy and Hg were triturated as the direction of the manufacturer by means of the mechanical amalgamator(Shofu), the triturated mass was inserted into the cylindrical metal mold which was 12mm in diameter and 10mm in height and was condensed by means of routine manner. The specimen was removed from the mold and stored at room temperature for about 7 days. The standard surface preparation was routinely carried out. Anodic polarization measurement was employed to compare the corrosion behaviours of the amalgams in 0.9% saline solution(pH6.8~7.0) and artificial saliva (pH6.8~7.0) at $37^{\circ}C$. The open circuit potential was determined after 30 minutes' immersion of specimen in electrolyte and the potential scan was begun at the potential of 100mV cathodic from the corrosion potential. The scan rate was 1mV/sec and the surface area of amalgam exposed to the solution was 0.64$cm^2$ for each specimen. All the potentials reported are with respect to a saturated calomel electrode (SCE). EPMA images on the determined oxidation peaks of each amalgam in artificial saliva were observed. X-ray diffraction patterns of each sample were recorded before and after polarization in artificial saliva (Aristaloy, Caulk Spherical, Dispersalloy and Tytin: at +770mV, +585mV, +8.10m V and +680m V respectively) by use of a recording diffractometer. Nickel filtered Cu $K_{{\alpha}_1}$ radiation was used and sample was scanned at $4^{\circ}(2{\theta})/min.$ from $25^{\circ}$ to $80^{\circ}$. The following results were obtained. 1. Oxidation peak potential in artificial saliva shifted to more anodic direction than that in saline solution. 2. The corrosion potential of high copper amalgam was more anodic than the potential of low copper amalgam. 3. The current density was lower in artificial saliva than in saline solution. 4. One of the corrosion products, AgCl was identified by X-ray diffraction analysis. 5. ${\gamma}_2$ phase was the most susceptible to corrosion and e phase was stable in low copper amalgam and ${\eta}$' phase and Ag-Cu eutectic were susceptible to corrosion in high copper amalgam.

Oil/water (O/W) nanoemulsions are effective vehicles to change the permeability of the skin. In this study, we focused on the preparation and characterization of nanoemulsion which serve as colloidal carriers for the dermal application of ceramide IIIB (CIIIB) and stratum corneum (SC) lipids such as cholesterol, and palmitic acid. In order to optimize the nanoemulsions, emulsification process conditions were conducted with regard to droplet size, nanoemulsion stability, and solubility of CIIIB. A decrease in droplet size was observed through emulsification temperature of $80^{\circ}C$ and phase inversion composition (PIC) method. CIIIB has low solubility in oil and water. When the concentration of CIIIB was increased, the droplet size of nanoemulsion was increased. When Lipoid S75-3 was added to the oil phase, the solubility of CIIIB increased, indicating some interactions shown in DSC measurements. CIIIB and SC lipids could be successfully incorporated in nanoemulsions without crystallization or physical instability. In conclusion, a stable nanoemulsion containing the SC lipids could be effective as an efficient moisturizing system for skin.

To investigate feeding behaviour of the greenpeach aphid (Myzus persicae) on several plants, DC electrical penetration graph (EPG) technique was used. We chose 5 plants including pepper, melon, cabbage, radish, and eggplant which were known as major host Plants of this species. This study was focused whether feeding patterns of the aphid were different and which plants would be the most preferable among 5 host plants. The time from initial proboscis contact with a each leaf until the first electrical contact, as a measure of the time taken for the stylet penetration, the time from electrical contact to the first potential drop as a time consumed until intracellular sampling, the number of potential drops per an hour during periods of regular intercellular pathway probing, and the time from electrical contact to tile first phloem specific pattern indicating the time taken to reach and attempt to feed upon the phloem were analysed. As a result, except the number of potential drop, there was no significant differency of feeding patterns among 5 plants. However, the feeding patterns related on host acceptability were observed more frequently from Pepper, radish, and e99r1an1 than melon and cabbage.
Cation exchange separation and inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometric(ICP-AES) determination of ruthenium in HCl solutions were studied to quantitatively determine ruthenium in spent nuclear fuels. Ruthenium-bearing samples were dissolved with the mixed acid solution(9 : 1 mole ratio, HCl-HNO$_3$) using an acid digestion bomb. Based on the absorption spectra and ion exchange behaviour of ruthenium in hydrochloric acid media, its possible chemical species were discussed. On a cation exchange column (0.7 ${\times}$ 8.0 cm) packed with AG 50W ${\times}$ 8(100~200 mesh) and equilibrated with 0.5 M HCl, ruthenium was eluated with 0.5 M HCl while uranium was retained on the column. The established separation method was applied to a simulated spent nuclear fuel and resulted in the recovery of 98.5% with a relative standard deviation of 0.7%.
In this study, mixed recycled coarse aggregate (RCA) was produced by mixing RCA from waste concrete in order to evaluate a new method of RCA production. Bond strength between reinforcing bars and RCA concrete was qualitatively evaluated as a part of continuous studies to establish design code of reinforced concrete structural members using recycled aggregate. For practical application, specimens were manufactured with the ready mix RCA concrete. Parameters investigated include: concrete compressive strength (i.e 21, 27 and 40 MPa), replacement levels (i.e 0, 30, 60 and 100%), bar position (i.e vertical and horizontal) and bar location (75 and 225 mm). For the pull-out test, each specimen was in the form of a cube, with each side of 150 mm in length and a deformed bar, 16 mm in diameter, was embedded in the center of each specimen. From the test results, the most of HT type specimen with compressive strength of 21 and 27 MPa showed lower bond strength than the ones provided in CEB-FIP and considered in reinforcement location factor ($\alpha\;=\;1.3$). It was reasoned that bonded area of top bar specimen was reduced at the soffit of reinforcement because of bleed water of fresh concrete. Therefore the reinforcement location factor in current KCI design code should be reviewed and modified.
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to develop exposure factor data for the Korean child population, with a specific focus on behavior characteristics such as hand-to-mouth and object-to-mouth and an analysis of influential factors. Methods: We divided environments into two places, which were house/indoor and nursery. A total of 400 children (house/indoor) and a total of 162 children (nursery) were recruited from the cities of Seoul, Incheon, Daegu, and Gwangju. The children were divided into two groups. We conducted direct measurement by using one hour of videotaping alongside questionnaire surveys. This was performed to calculate behavior rates, such as how many children perform hand-to-mouth and object-to-mouth behaviors. Results: The respective average frequencies of hand-to-mouth and object-to-mouth were $0.8{\pm}2.23$ and $0.82{\pm}2.64contacts/hr$ for house/indoor. The respective average frequencies of hand-to-mouth and object-to-mouth were $2.87{\pm}4.63$ and $1.47{\pm}3.84contacts/hr$ in the nursery group. For the mouthing participants, the average frequencies of hand-to-mouth and object-to-mouth were 3.31 and 3.20 contacts/hr in house, and 4.80 and 3.26 in nursery. Compared to other countries such as the USA, the frequencies of hand-to-mouth and object-to-mouth behaviors found in this study were relatively lower. Conclusions: Children have the potential for exposure to toxic substances through non-dietary ingestion pathways by mouthing objects or their fingers. In this study, the mouthing frequency was relatively lower than that found in Western countries. This can be explained that mouthing behaviour may be affected by culture and lifestyle characteristics.

The characteristics of particles were evaluated through the measurement data of PM$_{2.5}$, PM$_{10}$ and TSP instruments located in air quality monitoring stations installed and operated by Seoul Metropolitan city. The data of particulate mass on the filter was collected bv a high volume air sampler during the sand storm period. The number of days of sand storm in Seoul showed a different pattern from 1990 to November 2002, We can see a trend of increased occurrence and duration of sand storms. The ratio of PM$_{10}$ to TSP was shown as 52.9% and 59.4% during the sand storm period in 2000 and 2001. respectively. It was indicated that the particles larger than 10${\mu}$m increased by approximately 10% in sand storm periods compared to no sand storm period. While PM$_{10}$ size fraction reached 71.4% in 2002, the contribution of sand storm to total particulate concentration was estimated to be 11.9% for PM$_{2.5}$, 23.1% for PM$_{10}$, 19% for TSP in 2002, respectively and sand storms highly correlated with annual total particulate concentration.

All-solid state lithium rechargeable thin film batteries were fabricated with the configuration of$Cu_{0.5}V_2O_5/Lipon/Li$ using sequential thin film techniques. Copper vanadium oxide thin films and Lipon thin films were prepared by DC reactive dual source magnetron sputtering and RF magnetron sputtering, respectively. According to XRD analysis, we found out that copper vanadium oxide thin films were amorphous. The electrochemical behaviour of them was examined in half cell system using EC : DMC(1:1 in IM $LiPF_5$) liquid electrolyte. The ionic conductivity of Lipon thin film was $1.02\times10^{-6}S/cm$ at $25^{\circ}C$ and $Cu_{0.5}V_2O_5/Lipon/Li$ cell showed that the discharge capacity was about $50{\mu}Ah/cm^2{\mu}m$ beyond 500cyc1es.
The ability of neonates to perceive and react to pain, has been acknowledged recently. Recent researches have been shown that even short term pain can have lasting negative effects. We know that most of the anatomical pathway and neurotrans-mitter function necessary for pain perception are fully or nearly fully developed in the neonatal period. Many people are still reluctant to believe that pain felt by neonates may be as severe as that felt by older children or adults yet. The objective of the study is to assess and compare the analgesic effects of orally administered sucrose and pacifiers. And to determine the synergistic analgesic effects of sucrose and pacifiers. The tools for this study is Lawrence's NIPS (neonatal infant pain scale) with behavioural pain responses and index for pain physiological reponses as heart rate, respiratory rate and degree of SaO₂. The participants are 96 healthy infants of neonatal age 1-7days and randomised to receive heel prick before 2minutes to blood sampling and physiological test in Nursery of K Medical University Hospital on May-July, 2000. The experimental group assigned to one of three treatment groups : no treatment; a pacifier; placebo(2ml 25% sucrose). Collected data were analyzed with the SAS program using X²-test, ANOVA and Duncan's multiple range test as post hoc. The results were as follows. 1) Pain behaviour responses: The pain score of placebo group(2ml 25% sucrose) is lower than no treatment group and pacifier group significantly(P=.000). Placebo group is different from no treatment and pacifier group with Duncan's multiple range test. 2) Pain physiologic responses (1) heart rate: The heart rate of placebo group(2ml 25% sucrose) is different from that of no treatment group and pacifier group significantly(P=.000). The heart rate change of placebo group is less than the other groups. (2) respiratory rate: The respiratory rate of placebo group(2ml 25% sucrose) is different from that of no treatment group and pacifier group insignificantly (P=.2340). But, the respiratory rate of placebo group is lower than the other groups. (3) SaO₂: The SaO₂ score of placebo group(2ml 25% sucrose) is different from that of no treatment group and pacifier group insignificantly (P=.3265). But, the change of SaO₂ score of placebo group is less than the other groups. In conclusion, the sucrose placebo showed pain relief effect in behavior responses and less physiological responses. Accordingly, the sucrose placebo should be applied nursing intervention for simple pain management as heel prick.
