창업교육에 대한 유아교육과 학생들의 인식 연구 (A study on the Perception of College students studying Early Childhood Education about Entrepreneurship Education)

  • 미래를 주도하는 유아교육과 학생들을 위한 창업교육은 교육 현장에 적용될 수 있어야 하며, 유아교육과 학생들을 대상으로 창업교육의 필요성에 대한 인식과 요구에 관한 기초 조사가 선행되어야 한다. 유아교육과 학생들을 위해 다양한 창업교육 프로그램 개발 연구가 필요하다. 선행연구의 고찰을 통해 이론적 자료들을 수집하였으며, 창업교육의 필요성을 인지하고 이를 위한 유아교육과 학생들의 요구조사를 위해 온라인 설문지를 제작하였다. 수집한 239개의 설문으로 자료를 분석하였다. 결과는 첫째, 졸업 직후의 진로와 더불어 졸업 후 기간이 경과한 후의 진로에 대해서도 고려한 다양한 진로교육과 관련된 창업교육의 필요성을 인식해야 한다. 둘째, 온라인과 오프라인의 혼합형태의 다양한 교육영역과 내용을 효과적이고 체계적으로 개발한 프로그램이 필요하다. 셋째, 학습자요구 분석을 통한 정부기관에서의 맞춤 프로그램 지원이 필요하다.

임상 전문간호사 역할 기대 조사;A 병원을 중심으로 (A Investigative Study of Role Expectation on the Clinical Nurse Specialist)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the role expectation of Clinical Nurse Specialist(CNS) in A tertiary-affiliated hospital in Seoul. Data were surveyed from Jul. 8, to Jul. 20, 1996. 74 medical doctors and 119 nurses participated in this survey. For data analysis, SPSS/PC+ program was used: ${\chi}2-test$, t-test, ANOVA. The difference was analyzed by the subjects' position and department. The results of this study were summarized as follows: 1. The perception about the CNS system : Most of the subjects of study perceived that the introduction of CNS system was needed. And the introduction time of CNS system was demanded as fast as possible, or after special preparation. 2. The comparison of the need for the subroles of the CNS in A tertiary-affiliated hospital : The need for the subroles(0=not known, 1=not needed to 4=absolutely essential) was significantly different between medical doctors and nurses. The total mean scores for degree of need for each subole were as follows: Education 3.37, Consultant 3.34, Researcher 3.29, Direct care provider 2.86. 3. The comparison of the percent of time spent in A tertiary-affiliated hospital : The percent of time spent was significantly different between medical doctors and nurses. The total mean percent of time spent in the five subroles was as follows: Direct care provider 34.9%, Educator 23.9%, Researcher 18.9%, Consultant 12.8%, and Management/Change agent 9.5% According to the study results, suggestions were made: 1. Further study for the need of the CNS role as direct care provider is needed, after correcting the items within the narrow scope in some clinical department. 2. Development of the detail roles for the extent of autonomy is needed, and validity should be tested. And then they will be used for the basic data of the role development of the CNS.

Survey of Attitudes on Professionalism in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

  • Background The purpose of this study is to analyze the current attitudes toward professionalism, the core values, and the type of professionalism among plastic surgeons in Korea to establish a code of ethics regarding the role of professionalism for plastic and reconstructive surgeons. Methods From March 9, to July 1, 2012, face-to-face and mail surveys were conducted targeting the 325 participants (256 specialists and 69 residents) who are registered members of the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. The proportion of each response given to an item was obtained through statistical processing through frequency analysis. The Mann-Whitney U test was used to compare the differences in the responses between the resident group and the specialist group. Results The survey results on the perception of professionalism in plastic surgery showed that a high proportion (90.5%) of the respondents viewed the future of plastic surgeons as bright. Through evaluation of the importance of the value items,"professional dominance" (4.58 pts), "autonomy" (4.45 pts), "lifestyle" (4.34 pts), and "commercialism" (4.31 pts) were assessed as critical values. "Altruism" (3.84 pts), "interpersonal competence" (3.79 pts), and "social justice" (3.61 pts) were viewed as lesser values. This difference showed the characteristics of an entrepreneurial outlook. Conclusions Plastic surgeons should pursue excellence, humanism, accountability, and altruism in order to overcome the crisis of professionalism in plastic surgery. In order to develop the necessary competencies of professionals, vocational education should be arranged by the Korean Society of Plastic Surgeons, and an appropriate code of ethics should be established.

치과위생사 직업인식과 직무역량 강화방안 (Dental hygienist's job recognition and vocational competency reinforcement)

  • Objectives: The aim of this study was to analyze the qualities and problems to be solved to strengthen the vocational competency of dental hygienists and to identify the work to be institutionally established. Methods: From April 1 to May 30, 2019, a total of 325 people participated (152 registered dental hygienists: RDH, 173 students of dental hygiene: SDH) in this study. The survey items were as follows: "job awareness" (6 items), "problem to be solved to strengthen vocational competency" (5 items), "qualities to be equipped to strengthen"competency" (9 items), and "practical work to be institutionally established" (4 items). Results: RDH and SDH had the highest perception of professionalism (3.68, 3.99 points), and low remuneration against work (4.21, 4.18 points) was perceived as the most important problem to be solved. The qualities for competency reinforcement showed the highest results in expertise knowledge (4.68, 4.64 points) and vocation for job (3.76, 4.09 points). Practical work to be established institutionally appeared as follows: X-ray film reading, dental hygiene diagnosis, periodontal pocket measurement, and periodontal pockets (<6 mm) treatment. Conclusions: This study is expected to be actively used to strengthen the vocational competency among dental hygienists, construct work autonomy, and rationalize and legalize practical work.

저항성 운동과 그룹 운동을 병합한 프로그램이 뇌성마비 아동의 균형능력, 파악력 및 삶의 질에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of a Program Combining Resistance Exercise and Group Exercise on Balance, Grip Strength, and Quality of Life of Children with Cerebral Palsy)

  • PURPOSE: Cerebral palsy is a common cause of disability in children, requiring constant rehabilitation. Improving balance in children with cerebral palsy helps to alleviate daily movement and the quality of life. This study examines a program that combines Resistance Exercise and Group Exercise, and investigates the effect on trunk control ability, balance ability, maximum grip strength, and quality of life of children with cerebral palsy. METHODS: Totally, 9 children with cerebral palsy participated in this study. Resistance exercise was performed for 8 weeks, 40 minutes every day. Group Exercise was conducted for 8 weeks, 40 minutes each Sunday. All participants were evaluated by the Korean version of the trunk control measurement scale, pediatric reach test, grip strength test, and KIDSCREEN-52. RESULTS: The trunk control ability was significantly improved in all subcategories (p < .05). In the pediatric reach test, the left and right directions were significantly improved (p < .05). Maximum grip strength was significantly improved in both hands (p < .05). The quality of life significantly improved in total score, physical well-being, general moods, self-perception, autonomy, relationship with parents, and home life (p < .05). CONCLUSION: Considering the encouraging results, we propose to use Resistance Exercise and Group Exercise as programs other than rehabilitation treatment in hospitals, to improve motor function and quality of life of children with cerebral palsy.

집'으로서의 노인보호주택 사례연구 (Case Study of Assisted Living Facility (ALF) as a 'Home')

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the features that make residents feel “at home” in ALFs in Southwest Virginia and to suggest further policy and design guidelines for better Quality of ALFs as a “home.” For this purpose, residents' needs, experiences, and opinions of the physical environment, the social environment, and the organizational environments such as policies and programs of ALFs were identified. As a multi-case study, five ALFs in Southwest Virginia were studied using constant comparative methos of data analysis. In addition to face-to-face interviews with 25 residents and five administrators of five ALFs, observations were conducted with personal journal. Overall, the five sites selected presented homelike features showing the philosophy of assisted living which combines housing and services. Each facility was designed to be a single-family house or multi-family dwelling in outside appearance. As a whole, residents felt isolation and loneliness and they did not have active interaction with other residents because of diverse background among the residents. However, all of them had close relationships with the staff. The staff's attitude and behavior seemed to influence greatly the residents' feeling “at home.” Despite the provision of diverse activities by the facilities, many residents did not participate in the programs. Most of the residents agreed that the rule and regulations were fair. In spite of high satisfaction with the facility, many people did not think of their current dwelling as a real ‘home.’ As the biggest difference between living in their own homes and living in the ALF, people pointed out a lack of independence, freedom, and autonomy. Residents of ALFs may have reordered their priorities in their current life situation so that safety, security, and care were more important to them than feeling “at home.” Among the three factors --physical, social, and organizational-- that affect the residents' perception of ALFs as a “home, ” many emphasized the importance of social factors such as relationships with the staff and residents, and social support from their family or friends.

공공건설사업 사업비 관리의 문제점 및 개선방안 - 총사업비관리제도를 중심으로- (Suggestions on Efficient Cost Management for Public Construction Projects - Focused on Total Project Cost Management System-)

  • 정부 재정지출의 효율성 제고를 위해 도입된 총사업비관리제도는 그간 대형 신규 공공투자사업 추진 시 적정한 절차를 순차적으로 거치도록 의무화하고, 총사업비 증가율을 억제하는 등 일부 성과가 있었다. 도입 18년이 지난 시점에서 공공건설사업의 사업비 관리의 근간이 되는 총사업비관리제도에 대한 적용 실태 및 제반 운영에 대한 사업참여자들의 인식을 조사하고, 설문을 통하여 운영상의 문제점을 도출하여 이에 대한 개선방안을 제시하였다. 기본적으로 공공건설사업의 사업비 관리는 사업 초기 단계에 예산을 정확히 산정하고, 후속 단계에서 이를 지키려는 노력을 시행하며, 확정된 예산에 가장 부합하는 사업의 가치 확보라는 개념에 입각해서 계획하고 관리하여야 한다. 공공건설사업의 총사업비관리의 체계화하고, 담당자의 전문성을 제고하는 한편 발주처의 자율성을 확대하여야한다. 무엇보다도 총사업비관리 대상사업의 적기 준공을 유도하여 사업기간 지연으로 인한 총사업비의 증액을 방지 할 수 있는 여건 조성이 필요하다.

서울대는 법인화 이후 무엇이 변화되었나? 내부 구성원의 인식과 경험 탐색적 분석 (What has Changed at Seoul National University Since the Transition to Corporations? Exploratory Analysis of Internal Members' Perceptions and Experiences)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 서울대 내부 구성원의 인식과 경험을 중심으로 법인화 이후 서울대가 무엇이 변화되었는지를 탐색적으로 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 서울대 내부 구성원인, 교수, 직원, 학생을 대상으로 반구조화된 면담을 실시하였다. 면담결과는 서울대 법인화에 대한 전반적 평가, 법인화에 따른 긍정적 및 부정적 변화, 교육, 연구, 사회공헌, 그리고 운영체제 측면에서 변화로 구분하여 제시하였다. 전반적으로 볼 때, 법인화 이후의 변화에 대해 서울대 내부 구성원들은 변화를 체감하기 어렵거나 변화가 별로 없다는 공통적인 인식을 보였다. 긍정적 변화로는 대학 재정의 확대와 운영의 자율성 확대, 환경변화에 대한 대응력 향상을, 부정적 변화로는 서울대의 법적 지위 모호, 대학 외부로부터의 직접적이고 공격적인 영향력의 과도한 증가를 언급하였다. 마지막 부분에서는 주요 결과를 정리하면서, 그 의미와 시사점에 관해 논의하였다.

치과기공소 개설등록제도 개선방안에 대한 치과기공사의 인식조사: 치과의사의 치과기공소 개설등록제도를 중심으로 (A survey on the perception of dental technicians on how to improve the dental laboratory establishment registration system: focusing on the dentist's dental laboratory opening registration system)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted on dental technicians to examine the problems of the dental laboratory registration system and devise a plan to improve it. Methods: For data collection, an online survey was conducted on 14,015 dental technicians registered in the Korea Dental Technologist Association as of October 2020. Among the collected 405 questionnaires, 391 data were used for analysis. Results: We found that dental technicians felt that the dental laboratory opening registration system was unfair. There were problems including the problem of the verification method of job performance, not acknowledging the difference in the job field, and the lack of understanding of the structure of work cooperation between dentistry and dental laboratories. Furthermore, it was recognized that the system was improved by reflecting the change in job area according to the change of the times. Conclusion: There is an urgent need to reorganize the legal system so that the dental technicians can have their professionalism and autonomy recognized while remaining faithful to the public interest of protecting the national oral health by revising the related regulations, thereby ensuring smooth work activities.

국내 의료기관의 표준진료지침 개발 및 운영 현황 (Status of the Development and Utilization of Critical Pathways in Medical Institutions in South Korea)

  • Purpose: This study assessed the status of the Development and Utilization of critical pathways (CP) in South Korea. Methods: We surveyed 195 hospitals obtained on the Korean Hospital Association website. Data were collected using structured questionnaires for staff members in charge of CP management personnel in these hospitals. The questionnaire included CP developed by the institutions, the coverage rates and completion rates of CP in the current year, and management indicators related to CP. The questionnaire also included CP support systems and content within the institutions and questions regarding the advantages of CP utilization and obstacles associated with the CP development process. Results: Analysis of the responses from 70 hospitals (35.9% response rate) showed that a total of 1,370 CP sets were developed. The number of CP related to surgery departments was 365 (26.6%), and CP related to surgery and procedure was 1,093 (79.8%), respectively. The CP coverage rate was the most frequently used indicator to monitor the effect of CP (97.1%), followed by the completion rate (90.0%) and the length of stay in hospital (61.4%). CP managers reported that CP were highly useful for communication (3.39±0.493) and accurate information provision (3.39±0.491). The perception that CP violated doctors' autonomy in treatment was relatively low (2.87±0.645). Conclusion: It is necessary to establish an infrastructure in hospitals for CP. CP can facilitate communication and provide accurate information.
