음악 장르 분류를 이용한 자동차 오디오 시스템에서의 이퀄라이저 자동 조절 방식 (Automatic Equalizer Control Method Using Music Genre Classification in Automobile Audio System)

  • 본 논문은 자동차 오디오 시스템에 내장된 라디오에서 실시간으로 재생되는 연속적인 오디오 신호로부터 음악 신호를 선별하고, 해당 음악에 대한 실시간 음악장르 분류를 통해 자동으로 이퀄라이저를 조절하는 방식을 제안한다. 제안된 방식에서는 음악분류 정확도를 높이고 실시간 신호처리를 실행하기 위해 연속적인 오디오 신호로부터 추출한 음색 특징 벡터와 리듬 특징 벡터를 GMM (Gaussian mixture model) 분류 방식에 적용하여 음악 분류를 수행한다. 제안된 방식은 카오디오 시스템의 라디오로부터 출력된 오디오 신호로부터 분할된 다양한 오디오 구간을 5가지 음악장르로 분류하여 음악 장르 분류 성능을 측정하였다.

최적구조변경법에 의한 자동차 엔진 블록의 중량최소화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Weight Minimization of an Automobile Engine Block by Optimum Structural Modification)

  • Recently to develop an automobile with better properities many researches and investments have been executed. In this paper we intend to improve the automobile properties by reducing the weight of the engine without changing the dynamic characteristics. At first the vibration analysis by the Substructure Synthesis Mehtod and the exciting test of the engine model performed to confirm the reliability of the analyzing tools. And the weight minimiza-tion is performed by the Sensitivity Analysis and the Optimum Structural Modificationl. To decrease the engine weight ideally the weight of the parts with the low sensitivity is to cut mainly and the changing quantity of the natural frequency by the cut is to be recovered by the weight modification of the parts with the high sensitivity. As actually the mathematical unique solution for the homogeneous problem(i. e. 0 object func-tion problem)does not exist we redesign the engine block with much thinner initial thickness and recover the natural frequencies and natural modes of original structure by the sensitivity analy-sis and then observe the Frequency Response Function(FRF) for the interesting points. In this analysis the original thickness of the engine model is 8mm and the redesigned initial thicknesses are 5mm and 6mm, And the number of the interesting natural frequencies are 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 respectively.

  • This paper introduces a simulation study regarding the operation of the Painted Body Storage (PBS) in an automobile factory. In the paint shop of the factory, same colored bodies are grouped together in order to increase the effectiveness of process, for example decrease the loss of cleaning the painting-gun when the color of body changes from one to another. However the production of automobiles in the assembly shop is a typical example of the mixed model assembly production. Therefore PBS locates between the paint shop and the assembly shop for control the input sequence of bodies to the assembly shop, and it enables to meet the smoothing requirement of assembly sequence. There are highly restricted constraints on the assembly sequence in a assembly shop. Those are spacing restriction and smoothing restriction. If such restrictions are violated, conveyor-stop or utility work will be necessary. Thus the major objective of PBS is to control the assembly sequence in a way to meet the two restrictions. In this paper a case study of PBS in an automotive factory is introduced. The storage/retrieval algorithms are suggested and the proposed system is verified using simulation models. Sensitivity analysis for operating factors is also conducted.

  • Recently to develop an automobile with better prosperities, many researches and investments have been executed. In this paper we intend to improve the automobile properties by reducing the weights of the engine without changing the dynamic characteristics. And the Frequency Response Functions(FRF) are to be observed for the interesting points. In this analysis, the original thickness of the engine model has 8 mm of thickness, and the thickness redesigned is 5 mm and 6 mm. And we are to try to recover the 1, 2, 4, and 5 lower natural frequencies interested.

  • 본 연구에서는 공학기술교육에서 자동차전장 분야의 프로젝트 수업에 준비 단계, 계획 단계, 실행 단계, 정리 단계로 프로젝트 학습을 진행하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 학습자 관점에서 프로젝트 과목을 이수한 학습자의 인식에 대해 알아보고 이를 통해 보다 나은 프로젝트 수업 방법을 모색하는데 있다. 자동차 전장의 하드웨어와 소프트웨어 분야 28명의 재학생을 대상으로 사전검사와 사후검사를 실시하고 이를 유의도 .05 수준에서 통계처리한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 프로젝트 수업을 통해 팀활동과 협동심이 고취되고 발표와 관련된 의사소통이 증가하였다. 프로젝트 준비를 제대로 하여 현장을 충실히 반영하였고 프로젝트의 개념을 잘 알게 하여 학습자 관점의 프로젝트를 수행한 결과 많은 효과와 경험을 얻을 수 있었다. 그러나 성취감과 자신감은 기대한 만큼 증가하지 않아 프로젝트 수행의 어려움을 알 수 있었다.

  • Nowadays, the increasing global competition forces automobile manufacturer to increase quality and to reduce the cost and time for manufacturing planning. To solve these problems, automobile manufacturers try to apply digital manufacturing technologies. In this paper, a concept of method for planning the digital assembly system is proposed. Based on the requirements of assembly tasks obtained through product analysis, the function and sequence modeling for assembly process is executed using the IDEF0 and UML model. For implementation of digital assembly system, the selected components are modeled by using 3D CAD tools. According to the system configuration strategy, lots of the alternative solutions for the assembly system are generated. Finally, the optimal assembly system is chosen by the evaluation of the alternative solutions with TOPSIS(Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) method. According to proposed procedure, digital laser welding system is implemented in DELMIA.

  • This study analyzed the structure of pricing in the automobile auction market by using real trade data. We focused on the bidding behavior of bidders and the contract price of exhibits. First, we proposed a relational framework among exhibits, number of bidders, and the contract price. Next, we utilized a neural network model to estimate the number of bidders and the contract price. Subsequently, we investigated the relationship between the number of bidders and the contact price, and evaluated our method through an analysis that employed verifying data. Lastly, we listed our suggestions for bidding in auction markets.

  • The velocity and temperature profiles in the cabin of the automobile affect greatly to the comfort of the passenger. In this paper, the three dimensional flow and temperature analysis in the cabin of the automobile which is geometrically complicated was performed to investigate and predict the velocity and temperature profile. The three dimensional Navier-Stokes code used in this case was validated by performing of a 1/5 experimental scale model vehicle flow anal)rsis successfully. The temperature field of cavity was analyzed for Energy-equation code validation. The comparison of the results are made with the polished computational data and give a coincided one.

A Study on the Combination of Deductible System with Bonus-Malus System

  • Bonus-Malus system in automobile insurance rewards claim-free policyholders by premium discounts and penalizes policyholders with claims by premium surcharges. The purpose of adopting bonus-malus system is to alleviate differences in risk propensity. A well-known side-effect of bonus-malus system is the tendency of policyholders to pay small claims themselves and not report them to their, in order to avoid future premium increases. This phenomenon is called hunger for bonus. In this paper, we introduces an alternative approach to the Bonus-Malus system in automobile insurance - the approach is based on a deductible theory; and then search for a proper way combining both of them. Also, we construct a new algorithm to determine the optimal strategy of the policyholder based on the proposed model.

  • As the technique of automobile industry is being advanced, the advancement of vehicle ride is being required. In order to achieve this purpose, the study on the vibration which are produced by moving vehicle is carried out actively. In this study, the tire vibration characteristics for passing over a cleat are analyzed. The model is verified against simulations and experiments. The tire is modeled with 7-DOFs (degree of freedom), and the effects of changing tire design parameters are considered. According to the results of analysis, the design parameters that reduce the tire and wheel vibration energy are conducted.
