  • Data have been increased enormously due to the development of IT technology such as recent smart equipments, social network services and streaming services. To meet these environments the technologies that can treat mass data have received attention, and the typical one is Hadoop. Hadoop is on the basis of open source, and it has been designed to be used at general purpose computers on the basis of Linux. To initial Hadoop nearly no security was introduced, but as the number of users increased data that need security increased and there appeared new version that introduced Kerberos and Token system in 2009. But in this method there was a problem that only one secret key can be used and access permission to blocks cannot be authenticated to each user, and there were weak points that replay attack and spoofing attack were possible. Hence, to supplement these weak points and to maintain efficiency a protocol on the basis of group key, in which users are authenticated in logical group and then this is reflected to token, is proposed in this paper. The result shows that it has solved the weak points and there is no big overhead in terms of efficiency.

  • Recently, as computers and networks become popular, distributing information on the Internet is common In our daily life. also, the explosion of the Internet. of wireless digital communication and data exchange on Internet has rapidly changed the way we connect with other people. The e-mail has been commonly used by users as well recognizing It as the standard of manners among users on the Internet. In the past, e-mail has been the primary choice of exchanging Information, but secure mail is gaining popularity abroad and domestically because of their nature of providing security. That is. it has been used a variety of fields such as general mail and e-mail for advertisement. But, As the data transmitted on network can be easily opened or forged with simple operations. most of existing e-mail system don't have any security on the transmitted information. Thus. security mail system need to provide security including message encryption, content Integrity, message origin authentication, and non-repudiation. In this paper, we design implement secure mail system with non-repudiation service and encryption capability to provide services for certification of delivery and certification of content as well as the basic security services.   • The illegal leakage of enterprise digital confidential information will threaten the enterprise with bankruptcy. Today since most small-and-medium companies have no capability to fight against illegally compromising their critically confidential documents in spite of knowing the leakage of them, strongly safe distribution system of the digital confidential documents should be designed so in secure as to prevent any malicious intent of embezzlement from accessing the critical information. Current DRM-based protection system is not always perfect to protect the digital secrets, even seems to leave the secrets open. Therefore our study has analyzed the illegal leakage paths that hackers attack against and the vulnerability of the current protection systems. As result, we study the group communication based system architecture satisfying the security conditions to make even legitimate working employee keep out of the confidential documents, without performance degradation. The main idea of this architecture is to stay every secrets in encrypted form; to isolate the encrypted documents from the crypto-key; to associate every entity with one activity and to authenticate every entity with DSA-based public key system; multiple authentication method make hackers too busy to get a privilege to access the secrets with too many puzzle pieces. This paper deal with the basic architectural structure for the above issues.

A Security Analysis of Zhao and Gu's Key Exchange Protocol (Zhao와 Gu가 제안한 키 교환 프로토콜의 안전성 분석)

  • Key exchange protocols are essential for building a secure communication channel over an insecure open network. In particular, password-based key exchange protocols are designed to work when user authentication is done via the use of passwords. But, passwords are easy for human beings to remember, but are low entropy and thus are subject to dictionary attacks. Recently, Zhao and Gu proposed a new server-aided protocol for password-based key exchange. Zhao and Gu's protocol was claimed to be provably secure in a formal adversarial model which captures the notion of leakage of ephemeral secret keys. In this paper, we mount a replay attack on Zhao and Gu's protocol and thereby show that unlike the claim of provable security, the protocol is not secure against leakage of ephemeral secret keys. Our result implies that Zhao and Gu's proof of security for the protocol is invalid.

  • In recent times, there is an increasing interest in wireless charge of smartphones and devices, and many companies are developing wireless charges. The range of application of wireless charge would be expanded to almost all electronics, including not only mobile devices, but also notebook computers and vacuum cleaners. On-line electric vehicles are to be launched in the market this year in a massive scale. As such wireless charge-related markets are inexhaustible. Wireless charge is included in the world's top 10 promising technologies, and its rapid growth is expected to have annual growth by more than 100%. However, there's a need to establish a safe environment, by analyzing security threats to technical limitations and harmfulness to human body, and arrange institutional compliments. The development of communication method for a variety of wireless charging are delivering comfortable and safe information. This paper aims to examine the factors to threaten electric vehicle, which are usually intruded through network system and analyzes security threats to and security requirements for magnetic resonance mode-based wireless charge in mobile devices, and suggests security requirements.

  • Channel of distribution of contents of digitalised multimedia contents is changing in form passed directly to consumer from manufacturer through digital network of high speed. Together, diffusion of various digital equipment that do is changing Past multimedia consumption structure with the wonderful speed so that can consume easily digital contents. Specially, Multimedia Personal Computer and fast diffusion of a digital television are acting role such as catalyst that promote easy purchase and consumption of multimedia contents of good qualify. However, this system is no method that can sell digital contents and express right that original owner for the contents can insist nothing but consume. Because consumer can distribute to another person copying contents that buy because of and user can distribute producing ashes again according to necessary field by oneself as well as, can lose meaning for original contents. In this paper, Text editing system for XrML (extensible Rights Markup Language) that describe about integrity of message and entity authentication in addition to necessary rights, fees, condition etc. and this to do fetters XML (eXtensible Markup Language) for copyright protection for digital contents in treatise that see hereupon and use digital contents design and embody.

Secure Bootstrapping Methods of a Mobile Node on the Mobile IPv6 Network (IPv6기반 이동인터넷 환경에서 이동노드의 안전한 시동에 관한 방법)

  • At IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force), recently RFC3775, RFC3776 documents about the mobile IPv6 were standardized by IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force). Those specifications propose that during the roaming, the mobile node sends securely the binding update to the home agent and the correspondent node after setting the security association between Mobile Node and Home Agent. But there is no secure bootstrapping method between a mobile node and a home agent at the two RFC documents. This paper proposed a method for the secure bootstrapping between a mobile node and a home agent. This makes the authentication, binding update, home agent assignment, security association distribution through the AAA-based secure channel between mobile node and home agent. And the proposed method was analyzed in the view of the procedure, round trip and security strength.

  • In this paper, we design an authorization policy module which provides the safty and reliable authorization of the user to provide the resolution for authorization in distributed environments. PKI have been utilized much by an information security-based structure for Internet electronic commerce, it is developing X.509-based in various application field such as a network security. Especially, it provides good resolution for the authentication of the user in the situation not to meet each other, but it is not enough to provide the resolution of the authorization in distributed computing environments. In this paper, We provide AAS model, which can be used distributed resources by distributed users, and design AAS model which is an authorization policy module in the Linux-based Apache Web server.

  • A secure Electronic Payment System (EPS) is essential for the booming online shopping market. A successful EPS supports the transfer of electronic money and sensitive information with security, accuracy, and integrity between the seller and buyer over the Internet. SET, CyberCash, Paypal, and iKP are the most popular Credit Card-Based EPSs (CCBEPSs). Some CCBEPSs only use SSL to provide a secure communication channel. Hence, they only prevent "Man in the Middle" fraud but do not protect the sensitive cardholder information such as the credit card number from being passed onto the merchant, who may be unscrupulous. Other CCBEPSs use complex mechanisms such as cryptography, certificate authorities, etc. to fulfill the security schemes. However, factors such as ease of use for the cardholder and the implementation costs for each party are frequently overlooked. In this paper, we propose a Web service based new payment system, based on ANSI X9.59-2006 with extra features added on top of this standard. X9.59 is an Account Based Digital Signature (ABDS) and consumer-oriented payment system. It utilizes the existing financial network and financial messages to complete the payment process. However, there are a number of limitations in this standard. This research provides a solution to solve the limitations of X9.59 by adding a merchant authentication feature during the payment cycle without any addenda records to be added in the existing financial messages. We have conducted performance testing on the proposed system via a comparison with SET and X9.59 using simulation to analyze their levels of performance and security.

WebCam : A Web-based Remote Recordable Surveillance System using Index Search Algorithm (웹캠 : 새로운 인데스검색 알고리듬을 이용한 웹기반 원격 녹화 보안 시스템)

  • As existing analog video surveillance systems could save and retrieve data only in a limited space within short distance, it had many constraints in developing into various application systems. However, on the back of development of the Internet and computer technologies, digital video surveillance systems can be controlled from a remote location by web browser without space limits. Moreover, data compression and management technologies with Index Search algorithm make it possible to efficiently handling, storing, and retrieving a large amount of data and further motion detection algorithm enhances a recording speed and efficiency for a practical application, that is, a practical remote recordable video surveillance system using our efficient algorithms as mentioned, called WebCam. The WebCam server system can intelligently record and save video images digitized through efficient database management, monitor and control cameras in a remote place through user authentication, and search logs.
