올림픽대로의 경관향상을 위한 가로공간 구성요소의 물리량과 심리량 분석에 관한 연구 (Studios on the Physical and Psychological Analysis in Street Spaces for Improving the Streetscape of Olympic Daero)

  • Environmental design pattern of the nine Small Urban Spaces at C.B.D. in City of Seoul are surveyed and analyzed for user's satisfaction and behavior under the environmental design evaluation by using Chrisopher Alexander's Pattern Language. Small Urban Spaces as a part of streetscape are formed by physical factors as well as visual environment and interacting user's behavior. Therefore, user's satisfacuion and behavior at the nine Urban Small Spaces were investigated under the further search for some possibilities of a pplication of those Pattern Languages. A pattern language has a structure of a network. It is used in sequence, going through the patterns, moving always from large patterns to smaller, always from the ones which create comes simply from the obsernation that most of the wonderful places of the city were not made by architects but by the people. It defines the limited number of arrangements of spaces that make sense in any given culture. And it actually gives us the power to generate these coherent arrangement of space. As a results, 'Plazl', 'Seats' and 'Accessibility' related design patterns are highly evaluated by Pattern Frequency, Pattern Interaction and their Composition ranks, thus reconfirm Whyte's Praise of urban Small Spaces in our inner city design environments. According to the multiple regression analysis of user's evaluation, the environmental functins related to the satisfaction were 'Plaza', 'Accessibility' and 'Paving'. According to the free response, user's prefer such visually pleasing environmental design object as 'Waterscape' and 'Setting'. In addition to, the basic needs in Urban Small Spaces are amenity facilities as bench, drinking water and shade for rest.

조선시대 조각보의 입체적 표현을 통한 3D패턴 텍스타일 디자인과 패션상품 개발 (Development of Fashion Product and 3D Pattern Textile Design through the Three-Dimensional Expression based on Jogakbo in Chosun Dynasty Period)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop 3D pattern textile design of traditional Jogakbo motifs and fashion products using it. As a research method, first, through literature review, the three-dimensional representation of geometry on a plane with Jogakbo, design cases were examined. Second, through a survey, the purchase perception and design preference of Jogakbo cultural products was analyzed. Third, based on the results of the survey on color and print, the 3D pattern design for each type of Jogakbo is printed, and then textile fashion cultural products were developed. The results of this study are as follows. First, the reason why the public was not attracted to the purchase of cultural products was disatisfaction with practicality, unsuitable preference, price adequacy, aesthetics, and originality. Therefore, it was analyzed that quality, practicality, price, carry-on storage harmony and manageability, as well as aesthetic design were important factors for consumers. Second, the stereoscopic space on the plane expanded the two-dimensional plane space by forming a cube through the division and dissolution of geometry could be visualized using color expression of cubes of different brightness depending on the direction of light. Third, Jogakbo had eight types consisting of four detailed forms and three arrangement methods. The 3D pattern design could be developed through regular disolution and stereoscopic construction using Jogakbo's representative images for each type. In addition, it was found that it was easy to produce Jogakbo fashion products suitable for modern people through 3D pattern digital textile printing applying traditional colors.

패턴 분해능 및 초점심도 향상에 대한 사입사 조명 (Off-Axis Illumination)

  • 본 연구에서는 파장 0.248$\mu$m의 KrF Eximer Laser를 광원으로 하고 NA가 0.65인 광학계를 사용하는 리소그래피 시스템에서, 환형(annular)조명과 4구(quadrupole)조명의 조건들을 바꾸어 가며 구현하고자 하는 패턴의 분해능과 초점심도 향상에 어떠한 영향을 주는지 알아보았다. 그 결과, 환형 조명에서는 원형 마스크와 광학적 근접효과를 보정하기 위해 보조 패턴을 삽입한 마스크의 경우, 최적의 분해능과 초점심도를 보이는 조명조건이 다름을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 사구 조명의 경우에는 일반적으로 사용되는 45$^{\circ}$위치의 X자형 배치를 주요 패턴의 방향에 따라 적절히 바꾸어 주면 분해능과 초점심도를 향상시킬 수 있음을 확인하였다.

Energy evolution characteristics of coal specimens with preformed holes under uniaxial compression

  • The damage or failure of coal rock is accompanied by energy accumulation, dissipation and release. It is crucial to study the energy evolution characteristics of coal rock for rock mechanics and mining engineering applications. In this paper, coal specimens sourced from the Xinhe mine located in the Jining mining area of China were initially subjected to uniaxial compression, and the micro-parameters of the two-dimensional particle flow code (PFC2D) model were calibrated according to the experimental test results. Then, the PFC2D model was used to subject the specimens to substantial uniaxial compression, and the energy evolution laws of coal specimens with various schemes were presented. Finally, the elastic energy storage ratio m was investigated for coal rock, which described the energy conversion in coal specimens with various arrangements of preformed holes. The arrangement of the preformed holes significantly influenced the characteristics of the crack initiation stress and energy in the prepeak stage, whereas the characteristics of the cumulative crack number, failure pattern and elastic strain energy during the loading process were similar. Additionally, the arrangement of the preformed holes altered the proportion of elastic strain energy Ue in the total energy in the prepeak stage, and the probability of rock bursts can be qualitatively predicted.

현대패션에 나타난 스트라이프 패턴의 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study into the Characteristics of Strife Patterns in Modern Fashion)

  • This study is about the strife patterns in modern fashion and the characteristics inherent in them. The study was aimed at offering the basic materials to develop the creative design that can show various visual expression effects. In terms of method, the study was led by the analysis of documents; domestic and foreign fashion, collection magazines etc were used to analyze the strife patterns in modern fashion. According to the findings, the study used the rearrangement of the strife patterns at the same intervals, the arrangement of different strife patterns within one single item, the hybrid arrangement of strife patterns and different patterns, and the use of strife patterns for a certain part of clothing for the purse of emphasis or decoration. First, the characteristics inherent in such strife patterns showed clear simplicity using the same repetition of simple lines or the two colors of black and white. Second, strife patterns changed silhouettes by causing optical illusion, and showed the rhythm effects, such as swelling, wave or movement by distorting and controlling lines or forms. Third, based on irregular intervals or multi-strife, the concept of unclear disharmony and inconsistency was shown with the beauty of hybridharmony by blending various strife patterns with each other, or strife patterns with different patterns, and thus expressing composite images.

소형 안테나의 성능 향상을 위한 직교 배치에 관한 연구 (A Study of Cross Alignment for Increasing the Performance of Small Antenna)

  • As the wireless communications are gradually developed, the higher frequency is demanded and the smaller the size of antenna shall be reduced by the wavelength of the operating frequency. However, the smaller the size of antenna becomes, the less the gain is obtained according to the frequency, so that a new attempt such as an array antenna has been examined to improve the characteristics. Also, for the convenience of communication, the omni-directional property is required. In this paper, two antennas system which is aligned in cross direction in tested and analyzed. The main scope is focused to get an appropriated distance between the two small antennas to get better properties. There are various ways of array arrangement, but in this study, it should be placed on the same PCB for easy implementation and the direction of each antenna are aligned to be a cross($90^{\circ}$) position. The study is carried out by comparing the radiation patterns mainly, and the theoretical expectation and the computer simulation are also executed. The final model is the folded IF-antennas system printed on PCB and the ideal dipole-antenna arrangement in also test to verify the possibility of our implementation. And it is finally proved by measuring experiments.

  • This study aimed at acknowledging characteristics of space usage and suggesting orientation of space planning and furniture designing that meet various residents' demands correlating with residential area, furniture and family members by doing fact finding of volume of the furniture in medium/small sized apartment. The contents of the study are "experience of functional remodeling," "a number of bedrooms correlating with a number of family" and "furniture arrangement of each space and characteristics of space utilization" based on forty six cases. Followings are results of the study. 1) It was acknowledged that the function of space relating to family members largely depends on furniture arrangement correlating with age of children. It is needed that flexible planning of residential area to meets growing children and various family demands. 2) Functional remodeling requires furniture rearrangement attended with the remodeling. Thus, it is required that ideas in more simple and efficient furniture designing and consideration of construction environment embracing that ideas. 3) It can be acknowledged that the most demanding matter to enjoy satisfied and comfortable life in residential area is the matter of storage area. It is also understandable that the matter can be worse by time going by and the change of living pattern. Therefore, it is required that the consideration of enough storage area compatible with its function of the room and the planning of built-in furniture for storage.

Multi Parameter Design in AIML Framework for Balinese Calendar Knowledge Access

  • Balinese calendar is defined as a unique calendar system for combining solar-based and lunar-based system and assuming local system. It is considered as guidance of Balinese societies' activities management, starting from meeting arrangement, wedding ceremony, to religious ceremonies. Practically, it has developed in the form of printed Balinese calendar and electronic Balinese calendar, either web or mobile application. The core of the function is to find out the day with its various characteristics in the Balinese Calendar. In general, society usually asks the religious leader to find out the day in detail. The technology of NLP combined with models of pattern discoveries supports the arrangement of the interaction model in searching the good day in Balinese Calendar to equip the conventional searching system in the previous applications. This study will design a dialog model with AIML method in multi-parameter basis; therefore, the users will be dynamically able to use the searching content in various ways by chatting in similar with consulting to a religious leader. This model will be applied in a chatbot basis service in telegram machine. The addition of the context recognition section into 4 paterns has been successfully improve the ability of AIML to recognize input patterns with many criteria. Based on the testing with 50 random input patterns obtained a success rate of 92.5%.

기호보강을 위한 그물식 뿌리말뚝의 효과적인 배치 (Efficient Arrangement of Root Piles in Reinforcing the Strip Footing on a Sand Ground)

  • 뿌리말뚝을 이용하여 기초 지반을 보강할 때 효과적인 배치 방법을 알기 위하여, 사질토 지반에서 R.H. Bassets와 N.C. Last가 제안한 보강패턴에 대하여, 말뚝 길이, 기초 길이 방향의 말뚝 간격과 말뚝 열의 수를 변화시키며 물리 모형 실험을 실시하였다. 모형 실험 결과에 의하면, 뿌리말뚝 길이와 기초 폭의 비($L_p/B_f$)가 5이상일 때 지지력은 거의 증가하지 않는다. 그리고 기초 길이 방향의 말뚝 간격이 작을수록 지반 보강 효과는 크지만, 기초 길이,방향의 말뚝 간격이 말뚝 직경의 약 6배일 때 말뚝 1개당 보강효과가 가장 좋았다. R.H. Bassett와 N.C.Last가 제안한 보강패턴에서 둘째열 말뚝의 보강 효과가 가장 우수하였으며, 가장 바깥 열의 말뚝은 보강 효과가 거의 없었다.

  • Education is about sharing knowledge and using techniques and skills that can person's ability. the goal is to educate and develop people as a whole. In order to achieve this educational purpose efficiently, our society has many educational courses. The educational facility which can be used in a variety of educational methods should be made flexible. It should provide an environment in which ever student can grow. Being creative, using a variety of methods should help to develop character in people. In order to achieve this, the school's facilities should be future-oriented. It is necessary to research systemically about its changes and feed back according to the social demand, the educational purpose, and the changes of educational courses. This study is intended to present basic material which will be need from now on for the facility of the special classes in jeju city. Elementary schools should consider having a reasonable scale and arrangement pattern. The facility for special classes has to find a way to operate flexibly according to the changes of the class number.
