M&S 기반 어뢰방어전 모의실험 기술 구현 (The Development of Torpedo Defense Experimental Technique based on M&S)

  • Exploiting models and simulations are encouraged among the defense acquisition society, as now enforced by the Defense Aquisition Program Administration's regulations. They are useful and, sometimes, inevitable especially in an earlier phase of system development. Computer-simulation-based experimentation technique for the system operational performance analysis for a torpedo defense system is introduced in this paper. Problem definition for the torpedo defense system analysis and engineering efforts for models and simulations development are presented here, including defining measures of performance and effectiveness for the torpedo defense system, conceptual modeling for torpedo engagement and defense simulation, design of experimentation, design of simulator and experimentor, and hardware and software implementation of an analysis support tool - a system operations demonstration and experimentation simulator.

  • 지반조사자료는 건설공사의 계획부터 설계 및 시공, 유지보수에 이르기까지 건설전반에 걸쳐 공학적 판단근거를 제공하기 때문에, 모든 공사에는 필수적으로 지반조사를 실시하여 현재 방대한 양의 성과가 축적되었다. 그러나 조사 시 위치정보에 대한 인식 부족으로 지리정보시스템에서 이용하기에는 많은 제약이 있어 현행 지반조사체계에서 위치정보 확보에 대한 필요성이 제기되었다. 본 연구에서는 지반조사 과정 분석을 수행하여 입력항목 중 위치와 관련된 인자를 도출하고 데이터모델링에 반영하여 DB설계를 수행하였다. GPS, PDA, 무선통신 모듈을 이용하여 지반조사와 동시에 위치 및 속성정보를 실시간으로 GIS-DB화하는 지반정보취득 프로그램(PGeo)과 Web-DB를 이용하여 추가 지반조사자료를 입력하고, 레포팅할 수 있는 지반정보 레포팅 프로그램(GeoReport)을 개발하였다.

  • 기존의 지하시설물 데이터베이스 구축은 자료수집과정이 여러 단계로 이루어져 있고, 수치도면을 작성하거나 필요에 따라 수작업에 의한 종ㆍ횡단면도를 작성하는 등의 여러 작업과정으로 이루어져 정확도 문제와 시간ㆍ경제적인 많은 손실을 가져왔다. 본 연구는 현재 지하시설물도 구축을 위해 비효율적으로 이루어지고 있는 자료수집 및 처리기법의 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 현장에서의 자료수집과 동시에 직접 실시간으로 수치자료를 획득하고, 평면도 및 종 횡단면도를 작성할 수 있는 자료변환에 의한 실시간 지하시설물 종ㆍ횡단면도 작성 프로그램을 개발하였다. 그 결과 작업과정에서의 불필요한 시간을 절약하고, 자료 수집 및 이기과정에서의 오차발생을 최소화하므로서 정확도의 향상과 시간ㆍ경제적으로 효율적인 지하시설물 데이터베이스를 구축할 수 있도록 하였다.

한국형 고속전철의 주행진동 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Dynamic Characteristics on the Test Line for Korean High Speed Train)

  • Korean High Speed Train(KHST) has been tested on the high speed test line in Osung site of Korea High Speed Rail Construction Authority (KHRC). since it was developed as G7 Project Plan In 2002. This paper introduces the dynamic test devices in KHST and shows the comparison between the results of test and theoretical computing results which derive from the new model for KHST dynamic behavior. Previous computer simulation model for KHST was developed to review wether the vehicle system was satisfied with the dynamic performance requirements during the design procedure. But It should be applied the results of the parts test for suspension elements in order to compare between the results of computation and real test. Using VAMPIRE Program made by AEA Technology in UK. the new model also was modified. This paper shows that the static wheel loads calculated from new model is similar to test results. For test on high speed line, we prepared the test devices for evaluating the dynamic performances. which was consisted of the accelerometers( based on Kisler Co.) and the data aquisition systems (based on National instrument Co.), and test program coded by LabView 6i program. These lest devices and programs are flexible to extension the channels for adding sensors and connect to the ethernet network. The acceleration of car bodies, bogie frames and axle boxes were compared between the results of computation and test at 150km/. This paper shows that the results of test were high in high frequency band range but similar frequency band range. It might be considered that these differences were caused by the test which did not performed at constant speed for comparison analysis. Also. It will be able to understand the differences and make better results through a lot of tests planed in future.

  • In order to carry out TQM and 6 Sigma management, it is the key elements to make clear a goal and a mission. Above all, we can succeed In achieving a dramatic change and a great outcome only when we make clear the method, incentives, organization and plans under the clear objective. In order to secure the competitiveness against the external challenge, it is essential to keep the several crucial factors such as CEO's will, the systematic process to measure and manage, monitoring to satisfy customer's needs and an aggressive development of TQM activity to encourage the endeavour of the relentless enhancement, and also a positive effort Is to be made for evaluating all quality culture like training experts internally by an outstanding training program under CEO's firm leadership. This study is carried out to understand that which features and factors of success can exist in a company culture if a company accepts a theoretical basis and concept, the general of TQM and 6 Sigma which are one of a management strategy, and carries out TQM and 6 Sigma for achieving improvement of quality and customer's satisfaction.

  • 본 연구는 장기계약에 관해 국내에서 유일하게 다루고 있는 방위사업법과 국가계약법의 주요 특징을 비교하고, 무기체계획득시 연구개발 사업에 대한 개선방안을 도출 하였다. 무기체계 연구개발 사업에 기성제도를 적용할 경우에는 당사자간의 분쟁을 예방할 수 있고, 원활한 파트너십을 통해 안정적인 개발환경을 조성할 수 있다. 이러한 결과를 적용하게 되면 지체상금 부과로 인한 분쟁 대응에 소요되는 행정력 낭비와 업체측의 결과예측곤란으로 인한 영업활동의 제한 등 직간접 손실을 경감시킬 수 있고, 나아가서 우리 방산기업의 성장을 통해 국제적 경쟁력을 갖추는 것은 물론 국가의 안보를 지원하는 양질의 무기체계를 적기에 조달할 수 있을 것이다.

트랙터 작업기의 경심 자동제어시스템 (Automatic Depth Control System for Tractor Implement)

  • To control depth of tractor implement, an automatic depth control system based upon microcomputer was developed. This system consists of data aquisition system to measure and to record travel speed, draft and depth of the implement, hydraulic system to control the implement depth and 3-point hitch to attach the implement. Program, written in C language, was able to select position control, draft control and mixed control. To analyze parameters affecting this system, the performance of the system was evaluated through use of computer simulation and verified in soil bin experiments. 3-point hitch was lifted by hydraulic pressure and lowered by implement weight. Dead band was one of the important factors which affect the stability and the accuracy of the system. The system became unstable when the flow rate was increased or when the dead band was decreased. The position control mode with on-off control showed the great ability to control the implement at the given plowing depth. With the draft control, the tractor load could be reduced, however the plowing depth was changed unexpectedly when the soil was hard and inconsistent. The mixed control could improve the performance of the system to maintain the plowing depth without overload of the tractor.

요구성능 기반의 군용 항공기 항재밍 GPS 체계 구축 최적화 방안 연구 (A Study of Optimization Approach for GPS Anti-Jamming System's Integration on Military Aircraft Based on the Requirement of Capability)

  • Global Positioning System(hereafter; GPS) is recently an essential element in the various navigation and weapon delivery systems of military aircraft. However, GPS is vulnerable to the jamming threats since its signal power is very weak. Therefore, ROK defense has been concerning how to resolve this issue and how to integrate these systems needed, and is trying to acquire the proper anti-jamming GPS system. This study is to provide several schemes against the jamming threats effectively. We propose the several processes to analyze the required capability and demonstrate the result's of modeling and simulations(hereafter; M&S) for this integration of military aircraft, and the mathematical programming model for system optimization of military aircraft anti-jamming GPS system on the basis analysis of M&S results which could be considered available budget and the project characteristic. These schemes will be helpful on proper acquisition of these systems and. We are looking forward to contributing to the integration of anti-jamming GPS system of ROK military aircraft.

철갑탄 피격에 의한 군용 항공기 구조재료의 손상설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Damage Design of Military Aircraft Structure Material by Armor Piercing Bullet Hit)

  • Database for the damage reference by armor piercing bullet test was established for both tube and plate specimens having a range of thickness. As the inclined angles of hit are increasing, it has been found that penetration damage diameter tends to increases accordingly in both specimen of the tube and plate, and such penetration damage diameter on the rear side becomes bigger than those on the front side. The tube specimen showed that the damage becomes bigger when central areas rather than the peripheral were hit. Through the plate test, it also has been found that the penetration ballistic limit for Al alloy is about 25.4mm and that of stainless steel about 12.7mm. From the fatigue analysis results using the database for damage reference, it has been identified whether the safety requirements of military aircraft could be met.

  • 본 연구에서는 해상기반 유도무기체계의 운용개념을 도출한다. 운용개념은 제안시스템이 어떻게 사용될 것인지를 기술하는 것으로 다양한 이해관계자 관점에서 기술적 보다는 설명적인 표현이다. 운용개념은 시스템의 수명주기단계별 개념을 지원하기 위해 준비되어야 한다. 운용개념을 개발하는 것은 운용/유지, 정비, 그리고 획득 및 개발 영역 사람들에게 사용자의 요구와 기대를 정확하게 이해하도록 하는데 중요한 역할을 한다. 이러한 관점에서 본 연구는 운용개념 도출프로세스를 제시하고 전산도구를 활용하여 해상기반 유도무기체계의 운용개념을 도출하고자 한다.
