A Proposal on the after-school child care programs for children of dual-earner couples (맞벌이 부부자녀를 위한 방과후 아동지도 프로그램 제안 연구)

  • The major purpose of this study is to investigate the actual condition of elementary school, nursery school, social welfare facilities providing after-school child care programs and to suggest new after-school program which is focused on social and emotional development for children of dual-earner couples. The cases of current after-school programs in Seoul and Gyeonggi area were analyzed. The results are as follows. First, it was showed Hat elementary school' child care programs after school were designed for speciality-aptitude education during 3-4 hours. Second, nursery school's programs were showed to instruct children in homework and make up learning and were operating until late evening. But the nursery school fee is more expensive than the other facilities. Third, social welfare facilities have a variety of program than elementary school and nursery school. But the program still consist of homework, supplementary lessons, speciality education etc. These facilities have too much students, compared to the teachers

  • This study conducted AHP analysis to find out the directional of human resource management through policy priorities for personnel innovation of local public officials. The results of the study were derived using the AHP analysis methodology. The results of the study are summarized as follows. First, the interchange of personnel system was the most important measure among the measurement areas of interchange of personnel system, education training system, recruitment management system and appointment management system. Second, from the point of view of evaluation item, it is as follows. In the personnel interchange system, it was found that the conversion of personnel management based on job performance and performance was important. In the position management system, it is important to appoint and expand professional positions. In the recruitment management system, the introduction of personality and aptitude tests used in the private sector is important. Development of customized curriculum programs is important in the education and training system.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the present operation process and to suggest the points of improvement so that vocational education and training institutions can be activated more effectively. The subjects of this study were 250 college students who completed or attended the vocational education and training course in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do, and collected 230 data, excluding inappropriate responses. Data analysis was performed by using the statistical package program SPSS Statistics (Ver. 24: IBM, USA). In this study, frequency analysis was conducted to examine the characteristics of data, and crossover analysis was conducted mainly to investigate the correlation between categorical data. The results of this study are as follows: First, it provides information about vocational education and training course to all general high school students at the beginning of the first year of high school, and then, from the first semester of the second grade, do. Second, it is to open four major courses in beauty education at the same time. This makes it possible to acquire qualifications according to four beauty courses during the training period at the training institute rather than the private education institute where private education expenses are incurred. By training all major courses in skin, hair, make-up, and nail art, you will be given the opportunity to carefully determine the major course that fits your aptitude. Based on the results of this research, we propose a plan to improve the vocational education system for vocational high school students who are majoring in cosmetology.

  • The initial start-up founders are also often successful and sometimes unsuccessful. Conditions of establishment, it is necessary to management strategies such as site selection and strong entrepreneurial spirit with matching funds force to their aptitude. However, novice founder, in real estate transactions, there is a case in which a freak accident, such as the double sale occurs. South Korea's real estate transactions practice, difficult subject to systematic support, even as has been resolved legally, the damage of the victim so that the difficult issues that remain intact occurs. Therefore, beyond the problem to punish the perpetrators in such breach of trust crimes a legally double trade to this, is the strategy through the management histological approach received victim now of damage is required. We want to be viewed as discussion of What about the management strategy for accident prevention of real estate transactions in elementary founder accident concerning transactions such as real estate of double trafficking.

  • As basic data about students' career education in high school are being managed only in forms of NEIS, which is supported by Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, and the information for career education that homeroom teachers have operated by off-line system, it is hard to use them as practical decision support system for students' career education. In this study, we intend to design and embody web-based Student Management Total System by constructing DB of students' e-portfolios, school records and counselling data etc. As a result, teachers can carry out vocational education that is considered students' talents and aptitude, and we have a goal for promoting the growth of the students as the national human resources who have sound occupational consciousness through this education.

  • Data mining techniques enable us to generate useful information for decision support from the data sources which are generated and accumulated in the process of routine organizational management activities. College administration system is a typical example that produces a warehouse of student records as each and every student enters a college and undertakes the curricular and extracurricular activities. So far, these data have been utilized to a very limited student service purposes, such as issuance of transcripts, graduation evaluation, GPA calculation, etc. In this paper, we utilized Holland career search test results, TOEIC score, course work list and GPA score as the input for data mining, and we were able to generate knowledge and rules with regard to the college road map advisory service. Factor analysis and AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) were the primary techniques deployed in the data mining process. Since these data mining techniques are very powerful in processing and discovering useful knowledge and information from large scale student databases, we can expect a highly sophisticated student advisory knowledge and services which may not be obtained from the human student advice experts.

  • In this paper, we propose a CMS(Career Management System) based on the Android Platform, which is able to manage the result of MBTI, an aptitude test and English skills such as TOEIC, conversation, writing, etc. and to deal with the performance of the on-the-job practice, internship, project participation, graduation exhibition, contest exhibition, etc. during the period of attendance at school, This system is divided into the server module and the client one. First, the server module is used to build up the web site of the CMS that can serve to save the data related to each student's career. Second, the client module is to develop the application based on the Android Platform. This application can easily access the career-related information and always function as maintaining and managing the new data. If we make good use of the CMS proposed in this study, the relevant departments and bureaus in colleges and universities can activate the service capacity and also enhance the employment competitiveness by adding value to the students.

Job Satisfaction and Business Attitude of Restaurant Owners - Focused Mainly in the Gyeone-nam Area - (외식업 경영주의 직업만족도 및 경영의식 조사연구 - 경남지 역을 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this research was to analyze the job satisfaction and business attitudes of restaurant owners in order to explore solutions for improving restaurant management. The results were as follows : 1) The motive for starting a restaurant business was vocational aptitude \longrightarrow possibilities \longrightarrow good income : 2) In terms of job satisfaction, most respondents were satisfied with both the work itself and the income. It was also observed that the younger owners were more satisfied with their jobs than the older owners : 3) Increased costs, including labor and food costs, was indicated as the biggest problem in restaurant management. Respondents also perceived labor shortage as one of the most difficult problems. Men were more likely than women to consider the following problems as being more serious: rent, financial problems, taxes, regulation restrictions, menu development and customer complaints. It was found that as the size of the restaurants grew, the respondents perceived the shortage of labor as the hardest part of running a business : 4) Respondents agreed that employing good foodservice workers was the most important part of foodservice management. Owners also believed that they needed more research time for menu and service development 5) To be successful, the restaurant owners paid the most careful attention to food taste. Service, sanitation, and menu development were also emphasized. Respondents stressed the focus on service, good relationships, diligence, and faithfulness in order to be a good restaurant owner. The results of this research suggest that restaurant owners should have more professional conscientiousness to succeed in their own businesses, as well as improve the quality of the foodservice industry. Other important aspects related to the overall improved quality of the foodservice industry are: the continuation of government support, the enlargement of educational opportunities and greater respect for foodservice employees. Job Stress and Job Satisfaction among Nurses in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Units (소화기 내시경실 간호사의 직무 스트레스와 직무 만족도)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate job stress and job satisfaction among nurses in gastrointestinal endoscopy units, and factors related to their job stress and job satisfaction. Methods: The study participants were 153 nurses working in gastrointestinal endoscopy units at eleven general hospitals. Job stress and job satisfaction were measured using nurses's job stress scale and the index of work satisfaction respectively. Results: The average job stress was 3.67 (range 1~5) and job satisfaction was 2.90 (range 1~5). Gastrointestinal endoscopy unit nurses, who were full time worker, having more than 7 years of clinical experiences, having higher incomes, having high subjective work-intensity, and having an intention to change their working units, showed greater job stresses than those of the others. There were significant differences in job satisfaction according to subjective health status, the types of employment, subjective work-intensity, subjective aptitude, intention to change working units, major nursing tasks, and the numbers of major nursing tasks. Also, the subjects's job stress showed a negative correlation with job satisfaction. Conclusion: Findings suggest that management strategies should be developed to increase job satisfaction focusing on general and job characteristics associated with job stress.
