The purpose of this study is to develop the Leisure Obsession Scale and examine the validity of the scale. The Leisure Obsession Scale was developed and identified its validity by exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and correlation analysis. The Leisure Obsession Scale consists of two factors, which are 'Leisure Preoccupation' and 'Leisure Stereotype'. Those two factors indicated the reasonable fit index by confirmatory factor analysis. In addition, this scale displayed discriminant validity via measurement of obsession, workaholism, leisure anxiety, and leisure constraint. Also, the results of criterion validation analysis shows that the Leisure Obsession Scale and its subscale are correlated with measure of age, leisure information searching, intention of participation to new leisure activities, and intention of increase in leisure time. Conceptualizing leisure obsession and exploring components of leisure obsession would be valuable for understanding the nature of leisure obsession and its effects on leisure satisfaction, and suggesting more effective psychological intervention in a diverse population.

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationships of mothers' authoritative and authoritarian childrearing attitudes to their 5-year-old children's attachment representations and to teacher-rated social competence. The sample consisted of 69 mothers and their 5-year-old children from intact families. Children were interviewed to assess the quality of their attachment representations using Slough & Greenberg's(1990) version of the Separation Anxiety Test(SAT). Mothers were administered the Childrearing Practices Report Q-sort(Block, 1965) and filled out questionnaires regarding their childhood experiences, their marital relationship and their psychological well-being. In addition, teachers rated children's social competency in school settings using Kohn's(1972) Social Competence Scale. Hierarchical multiple regression showed that mothers' high scores on affective components of authoritative parenting and low scores on authoritarian attitudes are closely associated with children's secure attachment as well as teacher-rated social competence.

Sixty-three children aged 5 and 6 years and their mothers and teachers participated in this study examining the association between attachment and social competence. The quality of attachment was assessed using Separation Anxiety Test developed by Slough and Greenberg. Mothers and teachers completed questionnaires regarding family background and social competence(Iowa Social Competence Scale:Preschool), Consistent with attachment theory and previous research, there were significant relationships between children's attachment quality and their social competence. Attachment scores were positively associated with Social Competence and Leadership scores and negatively with Apprehension and Hypersensitivity scores. In contrast, Avoidance scores were negatively correlated with Social Competence and Leadership scores and positively with Hypersensitivity scores.

Natural and social disasters, such as typhoons, floods, earthquakes, volcanoes, fires, explosions, and traffic accidents occur frequently around the world. In Korea, a vicious cycle of large-scale accidents caused by natural disasters and insensitivity to safety is repeated each year. In particular, the tragic sinking of the Sewol ferry in 2014 and strong earthquakes with a magnitude of 5.0 and greater in Gyeongju and Pohang in 2016 and 2017, respectively, threw the entire country into a state of shock, increasing the public anxiety regarding disaster preparedness. This paper discusses the trends in broadcast emergency alert systems used to minimize damage from a disaster by delivering urgent status information quickly and accurately through a broadcast network, and to provide information regarding disaster risk and emergency evacuation procedures.

This paper compared the money beliefs and behaviors and the experiences of four different groups of female college students using furnham's(1984) money Beliefs and Behaviors (MBBS) scale. These four groups were Korean, Japanese, Korean-American, and Japanese American. Two hundreds of female college students were surveyed. Results from an exploratory factor analysis of the MBBS indicate the four factors: Obsession, Power, Anxiety, and Budget. There were significant differences in factors of the money beliefs and behaviors and the selected variables of the money experiences among compared four groups.

Recently, drinking water quality has significantly improved with the progress of water treatment technologies, however, customer's trust on tap water is still relatively low. Low trust on water quality is mainly due to vague anxiety. Therefore, to improve customer's trust on drinking water quality new strategy such as water safety plan(WSP) which recommended by WHO and IWA should be introduced. WSP can be defined as an approach which uses comprehensive risk assessment and risk management approach that encompasses all steps in water supply from catchment to consumer to ensure the safety of a drinking water supply. In this study, cases on WSP introduction in other countries as well as strategy for the introduction of WSP in Korea were investigated. In addition, recommendations on the improvement of the current water contamination response manual was suggested based on the analysis of the existing manual at a full scale water treatment plant.

Objective : This study was to investigate the effect of oriental medical treatment for Asperger's syndrome. Methods : This patient was lack of social communication, interaction, imagination and motor coordination. It was due to Asperger's syndrome. The patient was treated with Herbal medicine, acupuncture and play therapy. And we evaluated the case with The Australian scale for Asperger's syndrome. Results : Oriental medical treatment and play thrapy alleviated his symptoms of Asperger's syndrome and anxiety. Conclusions : We report the good result of oriental medical treatment on this case. The more study of oriental medical treatment for Asperger's syndrome is needed.

Purpose : The purpose of this study was to compare stress and psychological status between a stroke and a fracture patient's caregivers. Methods : Data was collected from September to December 2018 and participants of this study were 60 stroke and 61 fracture patient's caregivers. Stress was evaluated with the Global Assessment of Recent Stress scale-Korean Version and psychological status was measured with the Symptom check List-90-Revision. Results : The stroke patient's caregivers scored significantly higher than the fracture patient's caregivers in stress relevant to interpersonal, change in relationship, sickness or injury, financial, change/no change in routine (p<.05). The stroke patient's caregivers scored significantly higher in somatization, interpersonal sensitivity, depression, anxiety, paranoid ideation, and psychoticism than the fracture patient's caregivers (p<.05). Conclusion : It was found that the severity of mental health in the stroke patient's caregivers is necessary to develop a customized mental health improvement program for stroke patient's caregivers.

Locally and abroad, people's anxiety is now at a high due to CBRNE accidents. The accidents occur by various causes, and the scale of disaster could be enlarged. In this study, we focused on CBRNE education training program as a way of reducting damage of CBRNE accidents which could harm unspecified individuals and drew a parallel by a comparative analysis about CBRNE educational programs of domestic institutions.
