Despite such improvements, users are still demanding a more natural gaming environment and true reflections of human emotions. In real life, people can read a person's moods from facial color and expression. Hence, interactive facial colors in game characters provide a deeper level of reality. In this paper we propose a facial color adaptive technique, which is a combination of an emotional model based on human emotion theory, emotional expression pattern using colors of animation contents, and emotional reaction speed function based on human personality theory, as opposed to past methods that expressed emotion through blood flow, pulse, or skin temperature. Experiments show this of expression of the Facial Color Model based on facial color adoptive technique and expression of the animation contents is effective in conveying character emotions. Moreover, the proposed Facial Color Adaptive Technique can be applied not only to 2D games, but to 3D games as well.

This study will examine the role and how to use lighting to express the proper sentiment based on the narrative of the work. Making research named "Lighting Research of 3D animated film which applying light features to express emotion" previous study and have to combine emotional vocabulary and emotion-based theory for classifying the emotional language that can be applied on 3D animation. And choosing most emotional scene from 3D animation for analyze how they used lighting to expressing emotions. Directors trying to show up about the light role through light method that matched perfectly with an emotional language. Expecting this research work of directing 3D animations light for expressing emotional feelings will be continue successfully.
In this paper, a distance measuring algorithm for motion capture using color stereo camera is proposed. The color markers attached on articulations of an actor are captured by stereo color video cameras, and color region which has the same color of the marker's color in the captured images is separated from the other colors by finding dominant wavelength of colors. Color data in RGB (red, green, blue) color space is converted into CIE (Commission Internationale del'Eclairage) color space for the purpose of calculating wavelength. The dominant wavelength is selected from histogram of the neighbor wavelengths. The motion of the character in the cyber space is controlled by a program using the distance information of the moving markers.
The purpose of this study is to apply 3D computer graphics in fashion design as a creative medium and it attempts to fine out what advantages 3D technique can offer to fashion design. For this purpose, this study, first, tries to develop a 3D digital model in which designer can select design, color , pattern and fabric palette whatever necessary . This study uses of the software named 'Poser of Fractal Design' and the and the 3D digital model comprises four stages ; body modeling, item design (item coordination), color design (color coordination), pattern and fabric design (pattern and fabric coordination). Secondly, this study seeks to accumulate a data base which was produced in the course of case studies, which have applied 3D digital model to design. The outcome of the case studies shows that 3D digital model can enhance designing in the following four aspects. ⅰ) It can give more freedom to designer to try various ideas, revise and modify them, It can also produce random generation. Through this process, the designer test various input and output without damage on fabric after revision and alteration. ⅱ) It can help designers to enhance their accuracy. Since fault in the design developed by the 3D digital model can be detected in advance, designers can make correlation before actual work begins. In the end, designers can express their ideas and intention accurately as well as freely. ⅲ) Since design developed by the 3D digital model can be shared on screen by various actors in the course of priduction such designers , merchandisers, and supervisors, it can help communication between and cut the time of feedback.ⅳ) By using the 3D digital model, designers can work from the begining with awareness of actual outcome their design, since the 3D digital model provide animation, which helps designers to envisage visual changes as they apply various items, colors, pattern and fabrics.

The production process of the 3D-animation roughly consists of the pre-production, the main-production and the post-production. The pre-production, which is not only the outset of whole procedure among them but also the process to predict and design overall plan collectively is the most important step. A much more specific and perfect pre-production structure is needed to produce a high quality 3D-animation. Moreover, the standard 3D efficient lighting model is gathering strength as 2D and 3D artworks which are completed in this step maintain colors and looks in the main as well as post-production consistently. This study will make up for the weak points and help both to predict the color range of the overall 3D-animation product and to promote the application range of the 3D lighting system on the pre-production stage by developing the standard 3D lighting model applicable on the early step and calculating its lighting parameter properties.
We recognize all objects by seeing. However, we are not sure that the things we see through our eyes are their essence. Here comes my question: What does it mean that humans see and recognize things? The things we see are images and so I consider recognizing an object as semiosis via our visual sensation and brain. That is because objects are defined not by their essence but as symbols we recognize. In the era of post-modernism art is a voluntary creative activity that creates a kind of spiritual value and plays an important role for appreciators who realize the fact to enjoy the life value. This paper focused on the art putting aesthetic value on humans' recognition and explored works of art in a visually perceptible way through semiosis. That is because art, an act of creating things, is symbolic and closely linked to semiotic system. Furthermore, derivative visual signs can be considered to be in line with the viewers' visual perception. If we interpreted by recognizing the works of art along with symbol, we can enjoy the works in depth through recognizing their color or shape. Therefore, I intended to discourse on color perception focusing on colors in order to analyze the relationship between art and symbol in the process of recognizing works of art. This paper looked into background of color recognition, status of colors and ways of expression for impressionist who painted with various colors and examined colors as a sensory language. In the process of interpreting art works by communication between the artist and viewers, the role of color is considered as visual symbol through the artist's experience, consciousness, emotions, and their senses. It can be interpreted the visual language through signification of the symbols when the colors are formed in works of art as a recognizable space. Therefore we expect to study in the Visual arts to be the colors symbolic analysis is extended to more effective communication tool.
This study explored Chinese traditional art aesthetics in the , focusing on three elements 'principle', 'dance', 'blank' which consist of the artistic conception of Zong Baihua. In addition, this paper is aimed to prove that Chinese traditional aesthetics is still available as a creative element that can provides future direction and implication for modern animation movies by analyzing how the components of these three elements were used in the and how the artistic beauty of the animation was presented. In the critiques of Chinese art, the scope of 'conception' is the 'qualified' standard about art. This 'qualified' standard includes not only external similarity in forms but also internal similarity in spirits. The authors of the early Chinese animations integrated the artistic conceptions with the animations and expressed the national cultural contents of the Chinese animations, so that the audience could deeply understand the characteristics of Chinese animation with cultural and spiritual contents. Based on the artistic conceptions that Zong Baihua proposed, this study analyzed the character setting, the ideas that connotes and the scene composition. succeeded to the innovative spirits about Chinese early animation conceptions. The animation presented the view of life that includes the absolute freedom from Zhuangzi's "A Happy Excursion" and the oblivion of external objects. The heroine Spring's change from human to dolphin was presented by dancing. Besides, in the animation, the sea of clouds, the sky full of stars, sea, the sea melting into the sky were also presented in quantity. The large area of colors fantastically presenting in 'blank' scenes fully expressed the stories and sentiments of this animation. According to the analysis in this study, by identifying the traditional atmosphere that included heavy Chinese characteristics and harmonious conceptions in through the wisdom of Chinese classics and artistic conceptions, it can be confirmed that nowadays the artistic tradition of the classics still works as an extending innovative element in the future animations.
Actually, Cyberpunk is a compound word joined by cybernetics, which was used in control theory, and punk, was symbolized as anti-culture. Today, however, the definition of the term has been extended by various fields, used in many meanings. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to apply the Cyberpunk concepts to understand today s fashion because understanding of the present fashion is a means to interpret our culture. For this purpose, the phenomenon of Cyberpunk in fashion was subdivided into three factors material, color, and style. The results of the study were as follows : First, the materials used were techno material, special print by computer for future feeling and geometrical pattern, optical pattern to improve visual effects. Second, the colors mainly used were silver, black and white, bright color, and off-color of computer animation to present future-oriented feeling. Third, the general styles used were fit and slim, simple and liner, dualistic style to express future s image. In conclusion, the phenomena of Cyberpunk in fashion were expressed in material, color and style of fashion. Cyberpunk fashion was evident in T-shirts, sweaters, jackets, or as items of ornamentation such as pins, pendants, belts, and earrings, etc.

A computer simulation methiod for costume design has been developed using LUMENA, a generic-purpose 2-dimensional graphic software. In this study the palette, tone chart, fabric chart, styling chart, and costume drawing were constructed on the computer. In costume design simulation, fabric swatches with various colors and patterns were applied to the base garment image taken by using a scanner or a video camera. In this procedure the original 3-dimensional effect was fully retained. Using this simulation method, a number of costume designs could be carried out in short time without actually making the garment. A portfolio including the tone chart, fabric chart, styling chart, costume drawing, and simulation results were made for the purpose of demonstration, using the animation tools of LUMENA.
