GSI(Global Single Instance)기반의 Global ERP 구축 방법론 및 적용 사례 (A Methodology for Global ERP Implementation Based on GSI(Global Single Instance) and Its Application)

  • Many companies have implemented ERP systems to enhance their process competitiveness. Since most ERP systems down to date are implemented and managed on each separated business-unit or company level, such systems run short of the consideration about global business processes and global system managements. In order to integrate a successful global ERP, it is essential to apply the well-systematic implementation methodology which considers global standardization and global IT requirements. It is, however, the actual circumstance that such well-structured methodologies for global ERP implementation are hardly shown not only from domestic site but from foreign one. This paper indicates the global ERP implementation guideline with integrated approach including; the standard process design for efficient execution of global business; the ERP implementation method considering global IT requirements; and, the management method for global system operation. GSI ERP methodology is composed of 3 Phase:Global Strategy Planning, Global Template Construction and Global Roll-Out. Phase1; Global Strategy Planning contains Environment Analysis, GSI direction and Implementation Plan. Phase2; Global Template Construction contains Business blueprint, GSI operation design and Global template implementation. Phase3; Global Roll-out contains local business analysis, local ERP implementation and Global ERP Operation.

페트리 넷을 적용한 위치기반 서비스 시스템의 타당성 분석 (A Feasibility Analysis of Location-Based Service Systems Applying Petri net)

  • Recently, location-based service (LBS) is a hot issue in the field of computer applications. So many papers introducing new techniques of implementing a LBS and new application fields of LBS have been published recently. However, to the best of our knowledge, none of them discusses feasibility test in the prior to the implementation. The importance of a feasibility test for a design prior to the implementation cannot be overemphasized. This paper presents a method of feasibility test for a LBS design. Our method performs three steps. At the first step, we build a Petri net model of the LBS system which is depicted in natural language. The second step is to analyse the Petri net to find errors and flaws in the design. We also improve the Petri net model by fixing the errors and flaws in this step. A feasibility test is the third and final step. In this step. we verify if the design satisfies the user's requirement in the senses of quality of service (QoS) and of minimizing the implementation cost. The third step is performed in the manner of mathematical analysis of the Petri net.

  • For successful implementation of robotic painting system, a structured design and analysis procedure is necessary. In designing robotic system, both functional and economical feasibility should be investigated. As the robotization is complicated task involving implementation details(such as robot selection, accessory design, and spatial layout) together with operation details, a computerized method should be sought. However, any conventional robotic design system and off-line programming system cannot accomodate such a need. In this research, we develop an interactive design support system for robotization of a cycle painting line. With the developed system called SPRPL(Simulation Package for Robotic Painting Line) users can design the painting objects(via FRAME module), select robot model (ROBOT), design the part hanger (FEEDER), and arrange the workcell. After motion programming (MOTION), the design is evaluated in terms of: a) workspace analysis, b) coating thickness analysis, and c) cycle time (ANALYSIS). By iterative design and evaluation procedure, a feasible and efficient robotic design can be attained. As the developed system has motion planning and analysis features, it can be also used as an off-line robot programming system in operation stage. Including the details of each module, this paper also presents a case study made for an actual painting line.

햅틱 인지 요인 분석을 적용한 진동 촉감 인터페이스 설계 프로세스 제안 (Design Process Suggestion of Vibrotactile Interface applying Haptic Perception Factor Analysis)

  • 본 연구에서는 인간의 촉감 메커니즘을 반영하여 햅틱 인지 요인을 적용할 수 있는 진동 촉감 인터페이스 설계 프로세스를 제안하였다. 본 프로세스는 총 4단계로 햅틱 감각의 요구사항 분석 단계, 햅틱 요소 분석 단계, 햅틱 인지 요인분석 단계, 햅틱 요구사항 상세 설계 및 시제품 구현 단계로 구성된다. 본 설계 프로세스의 장점은 햅틱 인지 요인 분석을 적용함으로써 사용자 요구사항 도출 및 구현 시 불필요한 작업들을 배제할 수 있으며, 가장 큰 특징은 인체공학적 특징을 설계에 반영할 수 있고, 사용자 평가와 사용성 테스트, 햅틱 기능 최적화 작업을 동시에 수행함으로써 시제품 개발이 완료됨과 동시에 햅틱 요구사항 명세서가 완료된다는 것이다. 본 설계 프로세스는 사용자의 요구사항에서부터 햅틱 기능 상세설계 및 시제품 구현에 대한 전체 단계를 포함하고 있어 햅틱에 대한 전문 지식이 부족한 일반 개발자들도 사용자 중심의 설계가 가능하여 일정 수준 이상의 햅틱 기능 설계 및 구현을 가능케 할 것으로 기대된다.

Design and Implementation of a Face Recognition System-on-a-Chip for Wearable/Mobile Applications

  • This paper describes the design and implementation of a System-on-a-Chip (SoC) for face recognition to use in wearable/mobile products. The design flow starts from the system specification to implementation process on silicon. The entire process is carried out using a FPGA-based prototyping platform environment for design and verification of the target SoC. To ensure that the implemented face recognition SoC satisfies the required performances metrics, time analysis and recognition tests were performed. The motivation behind the work is a single chip implementation of face recognition system for target applications.

  • One of the activities to improve software quality in ISO 26262 is to apply the design principles for software unit design and implementation mentioned in ISO 26262-6, including the evaluation activity. Before evaluation activity, the tool is compared and selected for evaluation. Because the results of the tool a company selected might have an effect on product quality. In this paper, we suggest the method to compare industrial static analysis tools with some of "MISRA C : 2004 Exemplar Suite" and all lessons learned from comparing tools are described. The result on comparison shows that we just couldn't rely on a result of Static Analysis Tool and need to have another appropriate processes and guidelines to evaluate a software.

웹 응용 보안을 위한 객체지향 분석·설계 방법론 (An Object-Oriented Analysis and Design Methodology for Security of Web Applications)

  • 요즘 웹을 이용하여 많은 일들이 처리되고 있다. 이에 따라 다양하고 복잡한 기능을 가진 웹 기반의 응용 시스템들이 요구되고 있다. 이러한 웹 기반의 응용 시스템들을 효율적으로 개발하기 위하여 객체지향 분석 설계 방법론을 사용하고 있으며, 그 구현을 위하여 Java EE(Java Platform, Enterprise Edition) 기반의 기술들이 사용되기도 한다. 이렇게 개발된 웹 기반의 응용 시스템을 통해 많은 일들을 처리하면서 점차 보안과 관련된 이슈들이 중요해졌다. 이를 위하여 Java EE는 보안과 관련된 메커니즘을 제공하고 있지만, 효율적인 웹 응용 시스템을 개발하기 위한 객체지향 분석 설계 방법론과의 상호 연관성은 제공하지 못하고 있다. 이에 따라 Java EE 메커니즘에 따른 보안 방안은 개발 마지막 단계에서 비로소 구현되기 때문에, 요구사항 분석부터 구현에 이르기까지 시스템 개발 전 주기에 따른 일관된 보안 적용은 어려운 실정이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 요구사항 분석부터 구현에 이르기까지, 보안이 강조된 '안전한 웹 응용 시스템을 위한 객체지향 분석 설계 방법론'을 제안한다. 제안한 객체지향 분석 설계 방법론은 보안에 관한 요구사항 분석과 시스템 분석 및 설계를 위하여 보안이 강조된 모델링 언어인 UMLsec을 사용하고, 그 구현을 위해서 Java EE 기반 기술 중 서블릿의 역할기반 접근제어(RBAC: Role Based Access Control)를 이용한다. 아울러 본 '웹 응용 보안을 위한 객체지향 분석 설계 방법론'을 온라인 뱅킹 시스템 개발에 적용하여 그 효율성을 확인하였다.

  • Recently, object-oriented techniques have been used more and more for developments of an information system. But, established object-oriented methodologies are hard to express a business process of various abstract degrees in the analysis level and independent components of the system. They have difficulties in developing a large-scale information system of manufacturing industry such as PDM and CIM. This paper proposes an information system development methodology that imports the object-oriented IDEF0 (OOIDEF0) function model in analysis level. This methodology is made up of requirements gathering, system analysis, system design, and implementation. In requirements gathering level, organization diagram and interview technique are used for input data of OOIDEF0 function model. The OOIDEF0 function model, the interface model and function descriptions are made out in analysis level. Information objects and implementation objects are designed on the basis of the OOIDEF0 function model in design level. The database is built and programming is accomplished in implementation level. In order to prove the consistency and efficiency of the proposed methodology, the PDM system for ship production is modeled and prototyped.

  • The aim of this work is the analysis, design and hardware implementation of the fractional-order point kinetics (FNPK) model along with its closed-loop controller. The stability and closed-loop control of FNPK models are critical issues. The closed-loop stability of the controller-plant structure is established. Further, the designed PI/PD controllers are implemented in real-time on a DSP processor. The simulation and real-time hardware studies confirm that the designed PI/PD controllers result in a damped stable closed-loop response.

시나리오 기반 객체 지향 기법을 이용한 인트라넷 하이퍼미디어 시스템 개발 (Developing intranet hypermedia system using scenario-based object- oriented technique)

  • Intranet emerges as a key technology for building enterprise information system. This paper proposes a scenario-based object- oriented technique for designing intranet hypermedia information systems. The method consists of six phases such as domain analysis, object modeling, view design, navigational design, implementation design and construction. Users requirements are analyzed in the form of scenarios by the use fo a responsibility-driven object technology. Object-oriented views are generated from the resulting object model and then used for the subsequent navigational and implementation design. Implementation design phase deals integrating enterprise databases with distributed hypermedia systems by employing Java language. To demonstrate its usefulness, a real-life bank case is illustrated.
