어메니티 증진과 정서함양을 위한 화훼작물 재배의 확산 방안 (Diffusion Measures of Growing Flower Crops to Cultivate Amenities and Emotions)

  • Diffusion of non-professional flower growing in Korea still lags behind. The objectives of the study are to establish a theoretical modes to explain the diffusion of social floriculture, to identify some characteristics and problems of growing flower crops to cultivate amenities and emotions, and to suggest remedial measures for fostering it. Theoretical model adopted in this study consists of such variables as education, social movement, policies, diffusion of social flower growing, amenities, and emotional cultivation. For identifying the diffusion characteristics of flower growing, projects implemented by a non-governmental organization, schools, local and central government organizations were analyzed. In order to stimulate the diffusion of social flower growing and to increase its effects, there needs to strengthen education of stakeholders, establishment of partnership among schools, non-governmental and governmental organizations, and institutional supports including manpower and finances. Linking flower growing projects to community festival and tourism development programs can foster institutionalization of community flower growing. Furthermore, the introduction of wild, symbolic and traditional flowers and trees will help to specialize and improve community landscapes.

농촌마을 어메니티 자원의 속성별 가치 평가 - 농촌다움의 가치평가 - (Valuing Amenity attributes of Farm Village using Choice Experiment - Valuing Rurality-)

  • This study strengthens importance of farm land has possessed rurality. Thus the amenities of farm village were offered to the symbolical attributes of rurality and it was extracted four amenities attributes for valuing the amenities. Possessing the importance of rurality for agricultural and rural development and rural tourism evaluated each attribute by Choice Experiment(CE) for sustainable development make full use of rurality. Applying for Conditional-Logit model estimated the value of attributes then consumer's benefit feeling form each attributes was offered to the value of a unit change. Through this study, I wish to apply for the direction of rural development as important material and the compensation in the operation of agricultural output offering social benefit as political reference materials.

습지 이용자 생태의식과 시설선호도 연구 - 우포늪을 대상으로 - (A Study on the Wetland User's Eco-consciousness and Preference of Amenities - Focused on Upo Marsh Users -)

  • The researcher noted the fact that wetland users are more and more diversified while people are more conscious of their ecological importance. Wetlands tend to be very sensitive in ecological terms, and therefore, they can hardly accommodate their users' needs indefinitely. With such basic perception in mind, the purpose of this study was to survey wetland users' eco-consciousness, determine their traits, analyze the corelation between their traits and preferences of wetland amenities, and thereby, provide the data useful to planning of an effective wetland management policy. To this end, the researcher sampled nation's largest wetland, Upo Marsh located in Changnyeong for a questionnaire survey. Wetland users' eco-consciousness was measured, using Dunlap's NEP (New Ecological Paradigm) approved by many researchers. Wetland users' preferences of the wetland amenities were measured, centered around 11 amenity types observed commonly at the domestic wetlands. As a result of the survey conducted in October, 2012, a total of 228 effective samples were acquired. Wetland users' eco-consciousness was higher than normal, scoring 3.45 on the 5-point scale consisting of 5 sub-scales. In particular, users were more conscious of 'the possibility of an eco-crisis,' while being less conscious of 'ejection of exemptionalism.' As a result of classifying the users into 3 sub-groups in reference to their eco-consciousness and analyzing their preferences of amenities comparatively, significant differences were found in all 3 sub-areas. In particular, the sub-group most eco-conscious tended to prefer the learning amenities, but the least eco-conscious sub-group tended to prefer the utilities. As a result of the post-hoc test, it was found that most and normal eco-conscious sub-groups were more or less homogeneous, while the least eco-conscious sub-group was significantly different from the former 2 sub-groups in terms of eco-consciousness. As the wetland users were found to be diversified in terms of their eco-consciousness, it is necessary to plan the wetland management policies in consideration of such differences. However, it is perceived that the wetland amenities need to be built to meet the more eco-conscious users.

Assessment of environmental sanitation behaviour of market traders in selected markets in Ibadan, Nigeria

  • This paper assessed environmental sanitation behaviour of market operators in selected markets in Ibadan, Nigeria. The two largest markets in the study area (Aleshinloye and Bodija markets) were selected for sampling. The selected markets represented the two types of markets; modern and traditional markets. The modern market comprises 3803 shops while the traditional market comprises 5943 shops. Multistage sampling technique was adopted in questionnaire administration. The selected markets were stratified into zones based on the goods sold. Systematic sampling was used in the selection of traders across the markets. 2% of traders were selected for sampling in each category of goods sold making a total of 189 respondents. This comprises 77 of traders from modern market and 112 traders from traditional markets. Descriptive and Inferential statistics were used in analysing the data. Findings revealed poor access to environmental sanitation facilities especially at the traditional market. The study also established poor environmental sanitation behaviour in terms of utilisation of available amenities across both markets. It recommended a synergy of efforts by all environmentally concerned institutions in managing the market environment. It also advocated for the provision of environmental sanitation facilities in markets by, government, market management authorities, traders, Community Based Organizations (CBOs) and Non-governmental Organizations (NGOs). In addition environmental education is imperative while enforcement of environmental regulations in the market and others with similar setting is strongly encouraged.

  • In order to prepare for the enforcement of the "ransportation Services Improvement Act for the Mobility Handicapped People" which was passed in parliament in Dec. 2004, various equipments and installations need to be developed to ensure appropriate level of safety for the mobility handicapped to use maritime transport. In this paper, we investigated the current status of domestic passenger vessel usage by the mobility handicapped, to analyse the requirements for amenities necessary for the mobility handicapped and developed accessibility guidelines for amenities for the mobility handicapped persons in order to prepare for the enforcement of the "ransportation Services Improvement Act for the Mobility Handicapped People"

팬데믹 시대의 도시 씬 요소 변화 (Changes in Urban Scene Elements in the Pandemic)

  • 코로나19에 의한 팬데믹으로 세계 도시는 변화를 맞이했다. 글로벌 경제체계가 약해짐에 따라 상품 생산 및 유통 체계에도 지역화가 강화되는 현상이 나타났다. 또한, 지역화가 강화된 도시에서는 소비 형태가 변화했고 이에 따라 물리적 장소를 소비하는 방식도 변하고 있다. 대형 다중이용시설 소비는 대폭 감소했고, 온오프라인 경계가 허물어지는 속도가 빨라졌으며, 취향 공유를 위한 어메니티 소비는 더욱 세분화, 전문화되고, 프라이빗(private)해졌다. 도시 어메니티의 집중으로 파악되는 도시 씬에도 큰 변화가 나타났다. 도시 씬에서 로컬 스케일과 로컬리티가 중요해졌고, 공감성이라는 새로운 도시 씬 요소가 등장하였다. 공감성은 개인이 도시 어메니티를 소비함에 있어 사회적, 정서적 연결을 목적으로 하며, 연결성, 취향 소비, 노스탤지어를 추구한다. 본 연구는 공감성에 기반하며 문화 소비하는 공간을 공감적 공간이라 명명하고 그 개념을 설명하였으며, 향후 포스트코로나 상황에서 도시 씬에서의 공감적 공간의 중요성을 제시하였다.

국토 어메니티 평가지표 개발 (A Study on the Selection of Evaluation Indicators of Amenities)

  • 본 연구는 국토 및 지역에서의 어메니티를 활용한 접근체계를 크게 '어메니티 수준평가', '어메니티 자원 가치평가' '어메니티 자원 활용방안'의 세 가지로 구분하고, 접근체계에 따라 필요한 평가지표를 도출하고자 하였다. 어메니티를 활용한 전략은 먼저 지역의 어메니티 수준을 평가하여 자가진단하는 것이 필요한데, 본 연구에서는 국내외 사례와 전문가 표적집단면접법(Focus Group Interview: FGI)를 통해 3개 부문 10개 중항목 42개 세부항목을 도출하고 전문가 설문조사를 통해 도시지역, 농 산촌지역, 어촌 연안지역, 환경지역 등 공간단위별로 특성에 맞게 활용할 수 있도록 공간단위별 핵심지표와 중요지표, 선택적 활용지표를 도출하였다. 지역의 대표적인 어메니티 자원을 발굴하기 위한 가치평가지표는 문헌조사 및 전문가 FGI를 통해 3개 부문 14개 세부 평가지표를 도출하였으며, 전문가 설문조사를 바탕으로 6개 핵심지표, 6개 중요지표, 2개 선택적 활용지표로 구분하였 다. 어메니티 자원 가치평가지표는 '생태적 보존가치', '자연 경관의 독특함', '생태적 복원가치' 등 자연환경적 가치와 '역사 문화적 보존가치', '자원의 개성', '미적 가치' 등의 문화적 가치가 중요한 것으로 도출되었다. 어메니티 자원 활용 방안은 기존 사례를 바탕으로 '보전 복원', '계획적 이용', '산업적 이용' 등 3개 부문 15가지를 도출하였으며, 전문가 설문조사를 통해 공간단위별로 핵심지표와 중요지표를 도출하였다. 그 결과, 도시지역에서는 '창조 적 공간개발화'와 '경관관리', '문화컨텐츠화' 등의 7개 항목이 핵심지표로 도출되었으며, 농 산촌지역과 어촌 연안지역 에서는 '지역브랜드화', '상품브랜드화', '관광자원화' 등의 8개 항목이 핵심지표로 도출되었다. 또한 환경지역에서는 '자연 자원보전', '역사 문화자원 보전', '자연생태계 복원' 등의 6개 항목이 핵심지표로 도출되었다. 본 연구에서 도출된 지표들은 지역의 어메니티 계획과 추진전략 수립을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있으나, 지역이 가지는 다양한 여건을 고려하여 재조정될 수 있다. 따라서 지자체에서는 본 연구에서 제시하는 관련 지표를 바탕으로 지역의 특성에 맞게 선택적으로 활용하거나, 새로이 개발하여 지역의 어메니티를 최대한 활용하는 계획을 수립하는 것이 바람직하다.

스마트호텔 고객의 기술 어메니티 수용에 관한 연구 (Investigating the Smart Hotel Customers' Technology Amenities Adoption Behaviour)

  • 4차 산업혁명의 핵심 기술들이 럭셔리호텔에 도입되면서 호텔 이용자에게 새로운 제품과 서비스를 제공하고 새로운 경험을 할 수 있는 문화적, 체험적 공간으로 도약하고 있다. 따라서, 이 연구는 스마트기술이 도입된 럭셔리호텔, 즉 스마트호텔을 중심으로 기술 어메니티 서비스를 사용한 경험에 대한 호텔 이용자의 인식이 호텔의 신뢰와 만족도에 미치는 영향을 조사하여 향후 지속적 경쟁우위와 개선점을 끌어낼 수 있는 스마트호텔의 본질적인 요인들을 파악하였다. 또한, 고객 만족도를 극대화함으로써 해당 스마트호텔을 재방문할 수 있는 효과적인 호텔 마케팅 전략과 방안을 모색하는데 연구 목적을 두었다. 연구가설 검증을 위해 최근 2년 이내 스마트호텔에서 기술 어메니티를 이용한 경험이 있는 호텔 이용자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과 의인화와 기술 어메니티 사용의도, 그리고 지각된 성능기대치와 스마트호텔 만족도 간의 관계를 제외한 모든 가설이 채택됨을 확인하였다. 이러한 연구 결과를 토대로 이 논문에서는 이론적 시사점과 실무적 시사점을 제시하였다. 스마트호텔은 다양한 스마트기술을 도입하며 빠르게 변모하고 있다. 따라서 지속적인 경쟁우위를 확보하고, 차별화된 호텔경영과 마케팅 전략을 수립하는데 있어 의미 있는 자료가 될 것이다.

The Effect of Residential Environmental Satisfaction on Quality of Life and the Moderating Effect of Housing Type: The Case of Gyeonggi, Korea

  • This study examined the relationship between residential environmental satisfaction and quality of life, and how the relationship between variables differed depending on housing type. Residential environments can affect a person's life in a variety of ways. However, there have not been many studies on the relationship between quality of life and residential environments, which increases the importance of this study. In this study, residential environments were categorized according to amenities, safety, and neighborhood relationships, which enabled the comparison of influence between these elements. In addition, this study analyzed the moderating effect of housing type to look for improvements for low-rise housing residents. For testing the hypotheses, moderating regression analysis was conducted with data from the 1st Gyeonggi Province quality of life survey that had 18,953 subjects. Results showed that residential environmental satisfaction had a positive effect on quality of life, with amenities having the largest influence. Furthermore, housing type had a significant moderating effect on the relationship between safety and quality of life. In other words, safety was proven relatively important in improving quality of life for low-rise housing residents. Today, with the limits to quantitative growth, qualitative development has become more important. In this respect, this study provides important implications for many developing countries undergoing urbanization.
