$Ta_2O_5/Al/SiO_2/P-Si$ MIS형(形) 태양전지(太陽電池)의 제작(製作)과 특성(特性) (Fabrication and Characteristics of $Ta_2O_5/Al/SiO_2/p-Si$ MIS Solar Cells)

  • The fabrication procedure and characteristics of $Ta_2O_5/Al/SiO_2/p-Si$ MIS solar cells forming a fine grating pattern of aluminum evaporated on to p-type silicon crystal are discribed. The proper temperature for oxide growing of these cells was found to be about $450^{\circ}C$ for 20 minutes with oxygen flow. The conversion efficiency increased about 3% after $750{\AA}$ thickness of tantalium silica film spin on anti-reflective coating. The best results showed that $V_{oc}=0.545V,\;J_{sc}=34mA$ and F.F = 0.65, which represent that the conversion efficiency is 12%.

LiFePO4/C의 carbon coating 방법 및 다공성 구조 형성에 의한 전기화학적 특성 개선 (Improvement of Electrochemical Performance of LiFePO4 by Carbon Coating and Morphology Control into Porous Structure)

  • 본 연구에서는 리튬이온 이차전지 양극 활물질로 사용되는 $LiFePO_4$ 활물질을 이용하여 전지를 제조한 후 그 특성들을 평가하였다. 공침법을 이용하여 $FePO_4$ 전구체를 합성한 후 생성된 전구체에 리튬을 합성시키며, 열처리를 통하여 활물질을 생성시킨다. 열처리 온도에 의한 결과 중 $750^{\circ}C$에서의 결과가 가장 우수함을 확인하였으며 전도성을 확보하기 위하여 카본을 코팅하는 방법을 물리적 코팅 방식과 화학적 코팅방법으로 나누어 실험하였으며 물리적 카본 코팅의 결과 6wt%를 코팅했을 때 125 mAh/g의 용량을 보였으며 화학적 코팅에서는 코팅하지 않은 기본 활물질 보다 약 40%의 성능향상을 보여 130~140 mAh/g 대의 활물질 용량을 보였다. 다공성 구조체를 형성하기 위하여 nanocomposite을 투입한 실험에서는 $Al_2O_3$를 첨가한 활물질이 porous 형태의 구조체를 형성하고 $SiO_2$을 첨가한 활물질 보다 132 mAh/g의 용량으로 우수함을 알 수 있었다.

Conformal $Al_2$O$_3$ Nanocoating of Semiconductor Nanowires by Atomic Layer Deposition

  • Various semiconductor nanowires such as GaN, GaP, InP, Si$_3$N$_4$, SiO$_2$/Si, and SiC were coated conformally with aluminum oxide (Al$_2$O$_3$) layers by atomic layer deposition (ALD) using trimethylaluminum (TMA) and distilled water ($H_2O$) at a temperature of 20$0^{\circ}C$. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) revealed that A1203 cylindrical shells conformally coat the semiconductor nanowires. This study suggests that the ALD of $Al_2$O$_3$ on nanowires is a promising method for preparing cylindrical dielectric shells for coaxially gated nanowire field-effect transistors.

  • 튜브형 $\alpha-Al_2O_3$ 담체에 졸-겔 침지코팅법과 가압코팅(pressurized coating) 법으로 boehmite 졸과 극미세 입자 SiO$_2$ 및 TiO$_2$ 졸을 코팅한 후 200$\circ$C~500$\circ$C 에서 열처리하여 복합분리막을 제조하였다.

  • Field emission display(FED) is actively investigated in view of the development of full color flat-panel display, which can replace some cathode-ray tube(CRT). Thus, the development of new phosphors appropriate for FED is urgently needed and has been actively investigated. In this work, $SrTiO_3:Pr^{3+}$ phosphor was prepared by sol-gel method and the coating was applied by sol-gel method combined with sonication on these phosphor's surface into diluted precursor solution. It was found that very fine particles of coating material were formed on phosphor's surface. The luminescent intensity of $SrTiO_3:Pr^{3+}$ phosphor coated with $SiO_2$ and $Al_2O_3$ was considerably increased without any noticeable change in color chromaticity. The optimum concentration of coating material was found to be 1wt% and the optimum pH value of the solution was 10.

  • In this study, a molybdenum disilicide ($MoSi_2$) coating process was investigated by hydrogen reduction and Si-pack cementation. At first, the metallic Mo coating was carried out by hydrogen reduction of $MoO_3$ powder at $750^{\circ}C$ for various holding times (1, 2, 3 h) in hydrogen atmosphere. A $4.3{\mu}m$ thick metallic molybdenum thin film was formed at 3 h. $MoSi_2$ was obtained by Si-pack cementation on molybdenum thin film through hydrogen reduction processing. It was carried out using $Si:Al_2O_3:NH_4Cl=5:92:3$ (wt%) packs at $900^{\circ}C$ for various holding times (30, 60, 90 min) in Ar atmosphere. When the holding time was 90 min, a $MoSi_2$ layer was coated successfully and a $15.4{\mu}m$ thickness was observed.

  • [ $LaNiO_3$ ](LNO) thin films were deposited on various substrates as Si and $Al_2O_3$ by sol-gel process using lanthanum nitrate and nickel acetate. The structure and orientation of the films were characterized by X-ray diffraction. The orientation factors of films on Si(100), Si(111), $SiO_2/Si(100)$ and $Al_2O_3$were 97%, 63%, 73%, and 24% respective. The conductivity was $7.6{\times}10^{-3}{\Omega}{\cdot}cm$ with 10 times coating at Si(100) substrate.

  • In order to increase chemical durability of thin films in binary system B2O3-SiO2 and Al2O3-SiO2 on the slide glass by the dip-coating technique from TEOS(Tetraethyl Orthosilicate) and boric acid or aluminum nitrate, phosphoric acid(5~20mol%) was added, respectively. Corrosion of acid and alkali of samples treated with 1N, HCl, NaOH and distilled water at 10$0^{\circ}C$ for 15 minute, were measured IR transmittance and variance of transmittance at visible range. Surface structure of thin film was investigated with SEM and formation of crystal phase according to additiion of phosphoric acid was measrued with XRD. In Al2O3-SiO2 system, change of remarkable characteristic was not obtained at the addition of P2O5 but transmittance of thin film was decreased with addition of P2O5 in B2O3-SiO2 system.

  • The present report is the investigation of the effects of the HIP treatment on plasma-sprayed ceramic coating of $Al_2O_3$, $Al_2O_3-SiO_2$ on the metal substrate. These effects were characterized by phase identification, Vickers hardness measurement, and tensile test before and after HIPing.

Bohemite 나노졸을 이용한 내구성 코팅재료의 제조와 특성에 관한 연구 (Preparation and Characterization of Hard Coating Materials Based on Silane Modified Boehmite Hybrid Materials)

  • Boehmite 나노졸을 이용하여 자외선 및 열 경화가 동시에 가능한 내구성 코팅재료를 제조하였다. Boehmite (AlOOH) 나노입자에 3-(trimethoxysilyl)propylmethacrylate, (3-glycidyloxypropyl)trimethoxysilane 등의 유기 실란 커플링제를 혼합하는 sol-gel법으로 내구성 코팅 재료를 만들었다. 최초 boehmite 입자가 물에서만 분산 가능하였던 반면, 유기 실란이 도입된 입자는 알코올, tetrahydrofuran, acetonitrile 등의 유기 용매에서도 분산 가능케 되어 코팅 공정상 넓은 응용이 가능하게 되었다. 코팅 박막은 spin 코팅 방식을 이용하여 다양한 기질에 제조되었으며 제조된 박막은 FT-IR, Si/Al CP MAS NMR, UV-Vis spectrophotometer, 연필 경도계 및 FE-SEM, Taber abraser 등의 다양한 방법을 통하여 분석을 실시하였다. 유기실란의 배합 비율을 조절하여 최적화된 경도와 투명성을 갖는 박막을 얻었다. 또한 플라즈마로 전처리된 PMMA기질을 이용한 실험을 통하여 전처리의 효과성을 논의하였다.
