에폭시수지가 도포된 폴리이미드와 스크린 프린팅 Ag 사이의 계면접착력 평가 (Interfacial Adhesion between Screen-Printed Ag and Epoxy Resin-Coated Polyimide)

  • 스크린 프린팅된 Ag 박막과 에폭시 수지로 코팅된 폴리이미드 사이의 계면접착력을 $180^{\circ}$ 필 테스트를 통해 정량적으로 구하였다. 스크린 프린팅된 Ag 박막과 에폭시 수지 코팅된 폴리이미드 사이 필 강도는 $164.0{\pm}24.4J/m^2$이었다. 오븐에서 $120^{\circ}C$ 조건에서 24시간 동안 열처리 한 Ag/폴리이미드의 필 강도는 $220.8{\pm}19.2J/m^2$로 증가하였고, $85^{\circ}C/85%$ 상대습도 조건에서 120시간 동안 유지한 Ag/폴리이미드의 필 강도는 $84.1{\pm}50.8J/m^2$로 감소하였다. 전계방출형 주사전자현미경과 XPS를 통해 박리된 시편 표면을 분석한 결과, 열처리 및 고온/다습조건처리 시 스크린 프린팅 Ag 박막과 에폭시 수지 코팅층 사이의 계면접착력은 에폭시 수지와 수분 사이의 가수분해 결합 반응으로 인해 계면접착력 증가 및 감소하는 경향과 밀접한 연관성이 있는 것으로 판단된다.

Low-Cost Flexible Strain Sensor Based on Thick CVD Graphene

  • Flexible strain sensors, as the core member of the family of smart electronic devices, along with reasonable sensing range and sensitivity plus low cost, have rose a huge consumer market and also immense interests in fundamental studies and technological applications, especially in the field of biomimetic robots movement detection and human health condition monitoring. In this paper, we propose a new flexible strain sensor based on thick CVD graphene film and its low-cost fabrication strategy by using the commercial adhesive tape as flexible substrate. The tensile tests in a strain range of ~30% were implemented, and a gage factor of 30 was achieved under high strain condition. The optical microscopic observation with different strains showed the evolution of cracks in graphene film. Together with commonly used platelet overlap theory and percolation network theory for sensor resistance modeling, we established an overlap destructive resistance model to analyze the sensing mechanism of our devices, which fitted the experimental data very well. The finding of difference of fitting parameters in small and large strain ranges revealed the multiple stage feature of graphene crack evolution. The resistance fallback phenomenon due to the viscoelasticity of flexible substrate was analyzed. Our flexible strain sensor with low cost and simple fabrication process exhibits great potential for commercial applications.

PVA의 첨가에 의한 CVD 그래핀상 PEDOT : PSS의 코팅성 향상 (Improved Coating of PEDOT : PSS onto CVD Graphene by the Addition of PVA)

  • PVA를 PEDOT : PSS에 첨가해줌으로써 CVD 그래핀 상에 효과적으로 코팅할 수 있었다. PVA의 검화도 및 분자량에 따른 코팅성 및 필름의 전기적 특성을 검토한 결과, DS는 89%, 분자량은 $100,000gmol^{-1}$ 이하인 것이 바람직하였다. 또한, PVA의 첨가량은 PEDOT : PSS의 고형분 대비 5%가 최적으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 PVA를 사용하여 PEDOT : PSS를 CVD 그래핀 위에 코팅한 필름은 CVD 그래핀 필름에 비해서 표면조도, 부착성, 굴곡 내구성 및 고온($160^{\circ}C$)에서의 저항 안정성 등이 현저하게 개선되는 것으로 나타났다.

전자선 조사를 통한 편광필름용 아크릴계 고분자의 가교화 반응에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Electron Beam Crosslinking of Acrylic Pressure Sensitive Adhesives for Polarizer Film)

  • 전자선 조사 방법을 이용하여 편광필름용 아크릴계 고분자를 가교화시킨 후 이의 점착 특성을 평가하였다. 아크릴 공중합체는 $n$-butylacrylate(BA), 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate(HEMA), acrylic acid(AA)를 기본 단량체로 하여 다양한 조성으로 중합하였다. 아크릴 공중합체를 25 ${\mu}m$ 두께로 PET 이형필름에 코팅한 후 편광필름에 합지하고 그 위에 전자선을 조사하여 아크릴 공중합체의 가교화 반응을 진행하였다. 모든 아크릴 공중합체는 조사선량 50 kGy에서 93% 이상의 높은 젤분율을 보였으며, 아크릴 공중합체에 도입된 HEMA 단위가 많을수록 높은 가교밀도를 보였다. BA/HEMA/AA(89.5/10/0.5 w/w/w)의 단량체 공급비로 중합된 아크릴 공중합체에 50 kGy로 전자선을 조사하여 얻어진 아크릴 점착제가 가장 우수한 박리력, 내크리프성, 내구신뢰성, 내열빛샘 특성을 보였다. 전자선 조사를 이용한 편광필름용 아크릴계 점착제의 제조 방법을 적용하면 액정 표시장치용 편광필름의 생산성 및 작업성을 크게 개선할 것으로 기대된다.

Luminous Characteristics of Transparent Field Emitters Produced by Using Ultra-thin Films of Single Walled Carbon Nanotubes

  • Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are attractive material because of their superior electrical, mechanical, and chemical properties. Furthermore, their geometric features such as a large aspect ratio and a small radius of curvature at tip make them ideal for low-voltage field emission devices including backlight units of liquid crystal display, lighting lamps, X-ray source, microwave amplifiers, electron microscopes, etc. In field emission devices for display applications, the phosphor anode is positioned against the CNT emitters. In most case, light generated from the phosphor by electron bombardment passes through the anode front plate to reach observers. However, light is produced in a narrow depth of the surface of the phosphor layer because phosphor particles are big as much as several micrometers, which means that it is necessary to transmit through the phosphor layer. Hence, a drop of light intensity is unavoidable during this process. In this study, we fabricated a transparent cathode back plate by depositing an ultra-thin film of single walled CNTs (SWCNTs) on an indium tin oxide (ITO)-coated glass substrate. Two types of phosphor anode plates were employed to our transparent cathode back plate: One is an ITO glass substrate with a phosphor layer and the other is a Cr-coated glass substrate with phosphor layer. For the former case, light was radiated from both the front and the back sides, where luminance on the back was ~30% higher than that on the front in our experiments. For the other case, however, light was emitted only from the cathode back side as the Cr layer on the anode glass rolled as a reflecting mirror, improving the light luminance as much as ~60% compared with that on the front of one. This study seems to be discussed about the morphologies and field emission characteristics of CNT emitters according to the experimental parameters in fabricating the lamps emitting light on the both sides or only on the cathode back side. The experimental procedures are as follows. First, a CNT aqueous solution was prepared by ultrasonically dispersing purified SWCNTs in deionized water with sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS). A milliliter or even several tens of micro-liters of CNT solution was deposited onto a porous alumina membrane through vacuum filtration. Thereafter, the alumina membrane was solvated with the 3 M NaOH solution and the floating CNT film was easily transferred to an ITO glass substrate. It is required for CNT film to make standing CNTs up to serve as electron emitter through an adhesive roller activation.

  • Gravure off-set printing recently is used in electronics display market. This method has advantages of mass production and high printing speed. It is also fine pattern can be implemented. We have manufactured low-curable conductive Ag pastes for gravure off-set printing. When printing, the pastes be used different silver powder shape because of the printing characteristics. The pastes were prepared with silver powder by silver powder shape and size, epoxy resin, solvent and homogenized on a standard three-roll mill. And the pastes exhibited a shear-thinning flow at viscosity profile. Moreover the adhesive strength and resistivity of silver film had a good characteristics. With the manufactured paste in this study, touch panel had is manufactured and it had $4{\times}10-5{\Omega}.cm$.

  • A thermal transfer method was developed novel method to form the phosphor screen for monochrom VPT. This method have advantages of simple process, clean environment, saving raw material and running-cost. But now applying phosphor screen for thermal transfer method has been formed three layers (phosphor layer, ITO layer and thermal adhesive layer) on the PET film as substrate. This is complex process, consumption of raw-material and require of high cost. Also ITO paste at present has been imported from Japan. To improve these problems, we have developed ITO paste as conductive paste by using ITO sol and binder resin (AA3003). Ito paste as developed in this study has both conductive and excellent thermal transfer abilities. Thus we could manufacture phosphor screen formed two layers (phosphor layer and ITO layer).

케토푸로펜 소프트 히드로겔의 항염증효과 (Anti-inflammatory Activity of Ketoprofen Soft Hydrogel)

  • Ketoprofen together with various permeation enhancers was incorporated into a novel soft hydrogel which is semi-solid in a container and to form a thin film within a few minutes after applying on the skin. The effect of various enhancers on the skin permeation of ketoprofen from a soft hydrogel was investigated using in vitro and in vivo method. In vitro rat skin permeation of ketoprofen from soft hydrogel was conducted using modified Keshary-Chien diffusion cells. In vivo ketoprofen absorption was also investigated in rats, and the results were compared with that of commercial products. Anti-inflammatory activities were determined using carrageenan-induced paw edema method and adjuvant-induced arthritis method in rats. The anti-inflammatory activity of ketoprofen soft hydrogel formulation with that of commercial products were compared. In vitro as well as in vivo studies showed that $HPE-101^{\circledR}$ was the most effective skin permeation enhancer among those used in this study. Addition of an adhesive (polyisobutylene) in the soft hydrogel decreased skin permeation of ketoprofen. Paw edema and anti-arthritis tests showed that soft hydrogel containing $HPE-101^{\circledR}$ was more effective than the commercial products, which was consistent with the in vivo absorption experiment results.

CMOS 이미지 센서의 웨이퍼 레벨 어셈블리를 위한 스페이스 형성에 관한 연구 (A study on forming a spacer for wafer-level CIS(CMOS Image Sensor) assembly)

  • 본 논문에서는 CMOS 이미지 센서의 웨이퍼 레벨 어셈블리를 위한 스페이스 제작 방법을 설명하였다. 스페이스 제작을 위해서 SU-8, PDMS, Si-interposer를 이용하는 세 가지 방법을 제안하였다. SU-8 스페이스에서는 균일한 두께 특성을 위해서 웨이퍼 회전 장치를 고안했으며, PDMS 스페이스에서는 glass/PDMS/glass 구조의 정렬 접합을 위해서 새로운 접합 방법을 제안하였다. Si-interposer를 이용한 스페이스 제작에서는 DRF을 이용한 접합 조건을 확립하였다. 세 가지의 실험 결과 Si-interposer를 이용한 스페이스 제작 시 glass/스페이스/glass 구조의 접합력이 가장 뛰어났으며, 접합력의 크기는 32.3MPa의 전단응력을 나타내었다.

노즐 인쇄기법을 이용한 유기 잉크 용액 공정 연구 (A Study on Solution Processed Organic Ink by Nozzle Printing Technique)

  • 노즐을 이용한 인쇄 기법은 주로 전자 소자의 봉지를 위한 접착제의 인쇄분야에 적용되어 왔다. 노즐 인쇄를 통한 기능성 물질의 필름 형성은 커다란 도전이 될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 노즐을 이용한 유기 잉크의 인쇄 특성을 실험을 통하여 알아보았다. 본 연구의 노즐 인쇄 실험에서 패턴을 형성하기 위한 잉크는 유기 발광 물질인 TAPC를 사용하였다. 인쇄된 패턴 폭은 잉크 공급 유량의 증가와 기판의 온도의 상승에 따라 증가하였다. 또한 인쇄된 패턴은 건조 후 커피링 형상을 나타내었다.
