This paper presents unsteady oil flow behaviors in the engine lubrication network to clarify the differences between continuous and discontinuous oil supply crankshaft system. Using commercial network analysis program, Flowmaster2, engine lubrication network system analysis were carried out. And effects of crankshaft speed and supplied oil pressure on pressure fluctuation in oil groove and oil flow rate to each bearing were analyzed.

Generally the corrosion expansion of the steel due to outdoor corrosive environmental factor brings about serious problem on the durability of concrete structures. It is the purpose of this study to see whether adapted sacrificial anode method is effective or not. from the experimental results. the potential of steel in concrete in case of adapting the sacrificial anode method satisfies protection standard value (less than -850mV vs CSE).

The performance of mobile radio communication system is dependent on various factors such as channel environment. Especially, the number of multipath components of mobile radio channel and multipath delay property in CDMA system for different bandwidths are changed. Therefore, using multipath components, Rake receiver provides improvement of performance of W-CDMA system is evaluated by computer simulation over the types of ITU-R wideband channel model and spreading rate. The result shows that the performance of CDMA adapting RAKE receiver is Improved by the increase of multipath components in equal level of the received power.

To make use of various switches, relays, and control instruments, a connector (jack) is used to link the battery (power) and operating units. A connector must have precision as well as solidity to control the power in a car. To improve productivity, we researched and developed a connector molding by adapting vacuum system and we've made it possible to minimize the incomplete molding and weld-line. As a result, good quality can be warranted with less costs.

This paper is about the local volatility for the price of a European quanto call option. We derive the explicit formula of the local volatility with constant foreign and domestic interest rates by adapting the methods of Dupire and Derman & Kani. Furthermore, we obtain the Dupire equation for the local volatility with stochastic interest rates.

Since its introduction in 1993, Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA) has been shown to be superior to others in sealing, biocompatibility, and many other aspects of clinical endodontics. MTA is primarily Portland cement with bismuth oxide as a radiopacitifier. Although some studies suggested that the reasonable-priced Portland cement could be used instead of MTA, but MTAs are different from Portland cement in its composition, especially in heavy metal contents. Therefore, clinicians should be meticulous adapting the Portland cement as a MTA substitute.

In this paper, we analyze the relationship between implementation of information technology and inventory turnover as a measure of operational efficiency. We build a regression model including a dummy variable that indicates whether a firm has been nominated for being good at implementing information technology. By using publicly available data, we have conducted an extensive empirical analysis and found that firms' using information technology is not likely to affect inventory turnover significantly. This result implies that we have to take careful consideration in adapting information technology.

A new restoration method of chest X-ray image (dual project filter) was proposed to improve SNR (signal to noise ratio) characteristics. In this method, a priori information of system and anatomical structure and statistics of projected object are used in the design of filter. Dual projection filter varies its parameters, adapting to the local regions of chest(lungregion, mediasternum, subdiaphragm) and the structure of chest (bone, tissue, blood vessel, bronchia). The performance of Dual Projection Filter was 0.1-0.2dB better than Dual Sensor Wiener Filter, which was used for initial estimate of Dual Porjection Filter.

Like other communication networks, the Internet is establishing and reinforcing connections between market participants. By adapting to these networks, market participants are able to obtain the power of network to create new benefits in on-line markets. In this paper, we develop three stage non-cooperative game models to analyze the community related business market in electronic commerce where network externalities are present. It is found that, regardless of its market share, individual firm in a market tends to favor a community network. The analysis also shows there exist some possibilities that these community networks can trap the market in an inferior state when better alternatives are available to yield greater social welfare.

The expanding technique of the Stochastic Finite Element Method(SFEM) is proposed in this paper for adapting direct integration methods in stochastical dynamic analysis of structures. Grafting the direct integration methods and the SFEM together, one can deal with nonlinear structures and nonstationary process problems without any restriction. The stochastical central diffrence and stochastic Houbolt methods are introduced to show the expanding technique, and their adaptabilities are discussed. Results computed by the proposed method (the Stochastic Finite Element Method in Dynamics: SFEMD) for two degree-of-free- dom system are compared with those obtained by Monte Carlo Simulation.
