With the recent advancement of the construction industry, interest in it is growing as the accident rate in the construction industry continues to increase due to the enlargement and complexity of the construction scale. These social issues are focused on the safety of construction work, and research on construction industrial accidents is continuously being conducted, but research on measures to reduce construction industrial accidents is surprisingly insufficient. Therefore, in this study, research on reduction measures to increase the safety of construction industrial accidents conducted for 5 years from 2017 to 2021 is investigated and compared, and it is intended to be used as basic data for future construction industrial accident reduction measures.

Safety accident resulting from construction projects getting larger and complex day by day has occurred more often than ever. Particularly, the accident caused by construction equipment, among others, has been on the rise. To prevent such accidents, it's necessary to come up with the measures for reducing the accident. In this study, the cause of safety accidents was analyzed, reviewing the cases of safety accident maintained by Korea Occupational Safety & Health Agency, and the measures for reducing the accident was suggested with computerized safety checklist. The scope of study was limited to excavator, and the result is summarized as below. 1) Investigation was conducted to identify the cases of accident by excavator with the primary causes. 2) Reduction measures were suggested by category of cause of excavator-caused accident. 3) Checklist to prevent the safety accident, which was based on primary causes, was suggested. 4) The measures to stir up safety consciousness and monitor the safety were suggested, making use of computerized system. This study is expected to lay the foundation for further study in future as well as make a great commitment to reducing the safety accident.

The use of temporary Gondola has been steadily increasing. The temporary Gondola is required to get a safety certification review during installation and to be inspected during use within every six months. Most of them, however, are dismantled before six months, and inappropriate activities are conducted frequently for shorter working hours and convenience of work. In this study, the characteristics of the temporary Gondola and the domestic accident cases that occurred over the past 10 years(2008-2017) are analyzed for the type of accident, the state of the accident by year, and the actions of the workers in the event of an accident. Also comprehensive accident reduction measures were proposed by identifying the fundamental causes of temporary Gondola accidents, problems of existing preventive measures, and system defects by utilizing Bow-Tie techniques.

Total industrial accident rate in Korea is facing a record 0.7% for 10 years since 2000. After entering the continuous versus 0.6% (0.69%) in 2010. In 2011, the decrease was reduced to 0.65%. The level crossing collision accident which comprises more than 90 percent of all level crossing accidents is one of the most serious safety problems. There is a critical need for providing safe strategy and is focusing on the level crossing information rather than measures at a grade crossing. This study is intended to develop technology for accident prevention and damage reduction based on accident cases analysis result and improvement direction to complement shortcomings of safety equipment of conventional level crossing and to establish safety of travelers(train, motor vehicle, person).

Low birthrate is causing a reduction in the number of students at kindergartens, elementary schools, middle schools and high schools nationwide and yet, school safety accidents are on a constant rise, which was reported to be 237 accidents a day on average in 2011. Such phenomenon is proving how the school safety policy is not doing what it was supposed to do. In order to decrease the school safety accidents, first, causes of the accidents should be analyzed and then, prevention measures should be designed. For that reason, the study looked into the present condition of the school safety accidents and safety accident theories and based on the results, "School Safety Accident Analysis Matrix Model" was proposed. With a matrix method of the accident types (17 of them) and hazard factors (9 of them) applied, the concerned model analyzed a total of 153 accident causes. In consideration of the results from the analysis, the study suggested that the education authority should open a safety organization and design a school safety policy that would systematically deal with safety education, prevention measures practice, accident investigation and analysis, and countermeasures practice as well.

본 연구는 국내 건설산업에 종사하는 근로자에 대하여 재해율이 가장 높은 추락재해에 대한 직접비용을 분석하였다. 첫째, 건설업에서 추락재해로 인한 1인 평균 보험급여 지급액은 18,971천원 정도이다. 10년 동안 평균 추락재해자 수가 5,863명 일 때 추락재해로 인한 전체 손실 비용은 1,113억6천만원 정도이다. 둘째, 추락재해 비구조적 예방대책으로 비용중심의 경제성을 분석하였다, 예방대책에 대한 비용과 효과를 화폐가치로 표현한 자료가 없기 때문에 추락재해로 인한 재해손실 비용 금액을 새롭게 도입한 예방대책이 얼마나 감소시킬 수 있는가에 초점을 두면서 경제성 분석을 시도하였다. 셋째, 재해손실 규모를 파악하고 아울러 추락재해 원인에 대한 예방대책을 발굴하여 철저하게 시행한다면 재해손실 비용을 줄일 수 있는 가를 파악할 수 있다. 향후 비용중심 접근방법에서 본 재해손실 비용의 감소를 편익으로 추정할 수 있는 연구가 필요하다.
