로짓모델을 이용한 고령운전자 고속도로 교통사고 특성 분석 연구 (The Analysis of Older Driver's Traffic Accident Characteristic at Express-way using Logit model)

  • 고령화가 진행될수록 고령운전자의 수 역시 증가될 것으로 예상되어 향후 고령운전자에 의한 교통사고는 급증할 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구는 고속도로 교통사고 발생시 고령층과 비고령층의 구분에 따른 교통사고 특성을 분석하였다. 분석결과 비고령층에 비해 고령층에 작용하는 영향요인이 다르게 나타남을 알 수 있었다. 로짓모형을 통해 비고령층과 고령층의 Odds Ratio를 분석하여 사고영향요인에 따른 차이점을 알아보았으며 고령운전자의 사고 분석 모형을 개발하였다. 비고령층에 비해 곡선구간 및 절토구간, 노면의 습기상태일 때 고령운전자의 사고위험이 높은 것으로 나타났다.

서사의 방법과 역사극의 새로운 방향 - <왕세자 실종사건>을 중심으로 - (A study on the method of narrative in the new trend of historical drama)

  • 이 논문의 목적은 새로운 역사극의 등장과 더불어 연극에서는 이러한 현상이 어떻게 나타나는지를 살펴보는데 있다. 통시적으로 역사극의 변화를 살펴보면 새로운 역사적 해석들이 항상 등장했지만 최근 들어 해석의 새로움을 넘어서 역사적 사실을 중요하게 여기지 않는 지점까지 확장되는 경향이 발견된다. 이 논문은 그러한 경향의 연장선에서 <왕세자 실종사건>이란 작품을 통해 최근 역사극의 새로운 흐름을 구체적으로 살펴보려고 하였다. 이러한 새로운 역사극의 흐름은 후기구조주의 역사관, 미시사의 등장과 더불어 더욱 잘 설명될 수 있다. 미시사에서는 작은 개인의 역할이 중요한데 <왕세자 실종사건>에서도 역시 이러한 측면이 발견되며 이 작품에서는 작은 개인이 거대 담론을 전복하기도 한다. 또한 이 작품에는 독특한 시간관이 등장하는데 이는 불연속적 시간의 재구방식을 살펴봄으로써 설명이 가능해진다. 역사극에 멜로나 추리 등의 다른 장르가 섞이는 현상은 영화나 소설에서도 드러나는 바인데 <왕세자 실종사건>에서도 예외는 아니다. 그러나 연극만의 특징은 여전히 유효하며 이미지극이라는 형식의 차용은 새로운 역사극을 참신하게 부각시켜 주는 방법이 되기도 한다.

안전분위기와 안전성과의 관계 및 연령의 조절효과 (The Relationship Between Safety Climate and Safety Performance, and the Moderating Effect of Age)

  • With Zohar(1980)'s research on safety climate and industrial safety, occupational safety and health literatures begin to emphasize the influence of organizational context. Based on this research trend, this paper tried to review the relationship between individual/ organizational factors and occupational accidents. Based on the responses from 294 manufacturing workers, this paper reviewed the relationships among safety climates, safety performance, and age. The results of statistical analysis showed that all safety climate factors have affirmative effects on safety participation and safety attitudes negative effect on accident number, and job load affirmative effect on accident number. Job load and management commitment showed interactive effects on accident number with age.

  • 최근 선원재해 감소를 위한 국내선사들의 많은 노력에도 불구하고 그 감소율은 둔감하고 있는 실정이며, 이에 관한 일과성 유사연구 사례는 있으나 선원정책의 인적요소를 중심으로하는 본격적인 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 현재 승선중이거나 승선경험이 있는 선원을 중심으로 설문조사를 실시하여 선원재해에 관한 의식현황을 분석하여 해상안전 및 선원재해에 관한 대비책을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 본 연구는 도로연장측면에서 본선에 비해 상대적으로 연결로에서 발생하는 사고빈도가 높고, 교통사고가 증가하는 추세인 고속도로 연결로의 교통사고 예측모형의 개발에 초점을 두었다. 연결로 유형별(직결, 준직결, 루프)로 통계적으로 유의한 사고인자를 선정하고, 사고율과의 관계가 비선형 임을 분석하여 변수를 변형(Variables Transformation)하여 All possible 방식으로 예측모형을 개발하고, 통계적 진단 및 검증을 거쳐 유의성을 확인하였으며 이에 기존 개발 모형에 비해 예측력이 더욱 우수한 결과를 보였다. 개발된 사고예측모형은 보다 비용면에서 효율적이고, 안전한 트럼펫형 IC 연결로의 설계와 연결로 교통사고 원인분석에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

PREDICTION OF HYDROGEN CONCENTRATION IN CONTAINMENT DURING SEVERE ACCIDENTS USING FUZZY NEURAL NETWORK

  • Recently, severe accidents in nuclear power plants (NPPs) have become a global concern. The aim of this paper is to predict the hydrogen buildup within containment resulting from severe accidents. The prediction was based on NPPs of an optimized power reactor 1,000. The increase in the hydrogen concentration in severe accidents is one of the major factors that threaten the integrity of the containment. A method using a fuzzy neural network (FNN) was applied to predict the hydrogen concentration in the containment. The FNN model was developed and verified based on simulation data acquired by simulating MAAP4 code for optimized power reactor 1,000. The FNN model is expected to assist operators to prevent a hydrogen explosion in severe accident situations and manage the accident properly because they are able to predict the changes in the trend of hydrogen concentration at the beginning of real accidents by using the developed FNN model.

연구실 사고 유형분석 및 관리방안에 관한 연구 (Study on Analysis and Management of the Type of Laboratory Accident)

  • There have been 1,039 accidents in laboratory(National Research Safety Headquarters). Accidents in laboratory has increased by 71.5% from 158 cases in 2011 to 271 cases in 2016. Accident analysis results show that there has been no death accident after 2011 when 5 death accidents happened. The results also show that severe injuries have been 23 cases(2%) from 2011 to 2016(7 cases in 2011, 2 cases in 2012, 2013 and 2014, 3 cases in 2015, 7 cases in 2016). Minor injuries shows increasing trend from 151 cases in 2011(92.6%) to 294 cases in 2016(97.6%). Among the causes of accidents in laboratory, piercing injuries by injector were 69 cases(10.4%) for recent 3 years, i.e. 22 cases(12.6%) in 2014, 18 cases(14.2%) in 2015 and 29 cases(16%). Piercing injuries by injector with infection such as viral hepatitis and HIV/AIDS were identified in 10 cases in 2014, 5 cases in 2015, and 10 cases in 2016.Therefore, we would like to contribute to the safety of laboratories by suggesting a guideline for prevention and post management of laboratory accidents.

Risk and Responsibility: Understanding the Distribution of Serious Accident Punishment Act

  • Purpose: This paper investigates how companies respond to government regulations and disasters in a risk-managed society, and aims to initiate discussions on the future prospects and challenges. Specifically, it explores how companies can plan to respond to such disasters in the future, and stresses that the law should be to protect people's lives and ensure safety, rather than to punish companies. Research design, data and methodology: The study methodology is based on a review of existing literature, as well as trend analysis through big data analysis. The research analyzes the discourse in our society regarding the enactment of the Serious Accident Punishment Act. Results: This study supports that the Serious Accident Punishment Act should be implemented in a manner that does not impede corporate activities, but rather helps to ensure the safety of citizens' daily lives. The authors call for collaboration between communities, labor unions, and companies in achieving a cooperative governance system for a safer society. Conclusions: It highlights the importance of addressing disasters and government regulations in the context of a risk-managed society, and offers insights for both companies and policymakers on how to navigate these challenges. By prioritizing safety and cooperation, we can work towards building a safer and more resilient society

건설업 안전·보건관리자 선임기준 개선 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Criteria for Appointment of Safety and Health Managers in the Construction Industry)

  • The construction accidents which had been on the downward trend for the past decades have increased for five consecutive years since 2008. In order to let the increasing trend of construction accident slow growing or switching to decline, various efforts are required of all members in construction industry such as government, employers, construction engineers, safety managers, construction workers, etc. Although the criteria for appointment of safety managers in construction site introduced in 1982 have contributed to prevent construction accident as a forefront for the past 30 years, it has not been a remarkable improvement in the safety manager's status and roles which have been required to change according to the changes of circumstances and environments. In associated with a newly introduced the criteria for appointment of health managers in construction site in the year 2015, the problems such as role, status, number of safety and health managers are needed to be considered comprehensively and improved widely. In this study, we propose several improvement plans which will improve the current criteria for appointment of safety and health managers in construction sites.

Recent research towards integrated deterministic-probabilistic safety assessment in Korea

  • For a long time, research into integrated deterministic-probabilistic safety assessment has been continuously conducted to point out and overcome the limitations of classical ET (event tree)/FT (fault tree) based PSA (probabilistic safety assessment). The current paper also attempts to assert the reason why a technical transformation from classical PSA is necessary with a re-interpretation of the categories of risk. In this study, residual risk was classified into interpolating- and extrapolating-censored categories, which represent risks that are difficult to identify through an interpolation or extrapolation of representative scenarios due to potential nonlinearity between hardware and human behaviors intertwined in time and space. The authors hypothesize that such risk can be dealt with only if the classical ETs/FTs are freely relocated, entailing large-scale computation associated with physical models. The functional elements that are favorable to find residual risk were inferred from previous studies. The authors then introduce their under-development enabling techniques, namely DICE (Dynamic Integrated Consequence Evaluation) and DeBATE (Deep learning-Based Accident Trend Estimation). This work can be considered as a preliminary initiative to find the bridging points between deterministic and probabilistic assessments on the pillars of big data technology.
