그린홈 적용 태양광 발전시스템의 편익비용분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Benefit-Cost Analysis of Photovoltaic System in the Greenhome)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the benefit-cost analysis for photovoltaic system in greenhome. Perspectives of benefit-cost analysis for photovoltaic system in greenhome is participant, non-participant, administrator and nation. This study identifies the cost and benefit components and benefit-cost calculation procedures from four major perspectives : participant, non-participant, administrator and nation. The results of benefit-cost analysis from each perspective can be expressed in a variety of ways, but in all cases it is necessary to calculate the net present value of photovoltaic system impacts over the lifecycle of those impacts.

  • At the moment, in Korea, over 90% of energy resources depend on imports, and nearly 60% of electric energy is produced using fossil fuel. Therefore, the government adopted the Climatic Change Convention and has implemented the RPS system since 2012 to actively cope with the dependence on imported energy, and to grow and expand the new renewable energy industry. This study examined the performance results of mandatory supply of solar photovoltaic energy and non-solar photovoltaic energy assigned to providers and the present state after implementation of the RPS system. As a result, the achievement rate in 2012 was 64.7%. Especially, solar photovoltaic energy showed a high achievement rate of 95.7%, whereas non-solar photovoltaic energy showed a low achievement rate of 63.3% due to several problems and was highly dependent on the government. In 2013, the burden of each provider has increased due to more mandatory supply and addition of unfulfilled supply of 2012, and the separate mandatory supply of solar photovoltaic energy established for protection of the solar photovoltaic market is restricting investment. Therefore, there is a need to assign mandatory supply in consideration of the available amount of each new renewable energy.

  • In this study, 20.8% of a p-type Si bifacial solar cell was used to develop a photovoltaic (PV) module to obtain the maximum power under a limited installation area. The transparent back sheet material was replaced during fabrication with a white one, which is opaque in commercial products. This is very beneficial for the generation of more electricity, owing to the additional power generation via absorption of light from the rear side. A new model is suggested herein to predict the power of the bifacial PV module by considering the backside reflections from the roof and/or environment. This model considers not only the frontside reflection, but also the nonuniformity of the backside light sources. Theoretical predictions were compared to experimental data to prove the validity of this model, the error range for which ranged from 0.32% to 8.49%. Especially, under $700W/m^2$, the error rate was as low as 2.25%. This work could provide theoretical and experimental bases for application to a distributed and microgrid network.

  • This paper aims at developing remote control system to control and monitor distributed various devices such as photovoltaic Inverter system through internet. TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) and photovoltaic inverter system operated in a row are adopted for network management protocol and applied device, respectively. For controlling and monitoring distributed devices in real-time, java-environment software is constructed. Also, HelloDevice, general-use interface controller between network device and applied device is proposed. Finally, serial communication such as RS-232C is used between controller and applied device.

  • Utility interactive photovoltaic systems is one of the most premising applications of photovoltaic systems. These systems are employed in applications where utility service is already available. In this case, there is no need for battery storage because utility power may be used to supplement photovoltaic systems when the load exceeds available PV generation. The load receives electricity from both the photovoltaic array and the utility inter-tied. In this paper, Principle and operating characteristic of Utility Interconnected Photovoltaic System is presented. For the purpose of optimal utility Inter-tied photovoltaic system design and installation. It is that demonstrate throughout the installed 3 PV system respectively, 3kW utility interconnected residential system.

  • In this paper, I used microprocessor and sensor and designed to improve the efficiency of the photovoltaic system the photovoltaic position tracker device, and compared the normal photovoltaic system of fixed form with the photovoltaic system of solar position tracked form. Moreover, compared the catalogue of solar cell module and the simulation through a mathematics modelling with the solar cell's characteristic interpreting and, composed an power conversion system with boost converter and voltage source inverter. Used the constant voltage control method for maximum power point tracking in boost converter control and, used the SPWM(Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation) control method in inverter control.

  • Output power in photovoltaic systems changes steeply with the change of the sun intensity. The change of output power has influence on the electric power quality of the system. This paper proposes a residential distributed generation system using photovoltaic power generation and polymer electrolyte fuel cells(hybrid systems). In order to level the output power which changes steeply the polymer electrolyte fuel cells are connected to the photovoltaic power generation system in parallel. Thus the generated power of all the system can be leveled. However, the steep generated power in the photovoltaic power generation system can not be leveled. Therefore, the electric double layer capacitor(EDLC) is connected in parallel with the hybrid systems. It is confirmed by the simulation that the proposed distributed generation system is available for a residential supply.

  • The modeling of PV (Photovoltaic) module is useful to perform detailed analysis of PV system performance for changing meteorological conditions, verify actual rated power of PV system sizing and determine the optimal design of PV system and components. This paper indicates a modeling approach of PV module performance in terms of meteorological conditions and identifies validity of this modeling method by comparing measured with simulated value of various PV modules using simulation model.

  • Buildings are responsible for approximately 50% of current carbon dioxide emissions. Energy planning at a town and city scale needs a strategic approach, supported by strong planning policies. The purpose of this study was to investigate the urban scale grid-connected photovoltaic(PV) system for urban residential and commercial sector applications. The integration of PV technology into roof of houses is an approach that is being championed in Germany, Japan and United states etc. In the Korea, PV roofing systems already are given the large number of houses which are projected to be built by 2012. However unlike germany and Japan, urban scale grid-connected PV system is not yet installed. The solar city which is installed building-integrated photovoltaic system is available to use of renewable energy sources such as solar to meet demand, instead of fossil fuels, with the goal of realizing an ecologically oriented energy supply.

  • 본 논문에서는 태양광 발전의 효율을 높이기 위하여 센서와 마이크로프로세서를 이용한 태양광 위치추적 장치를 설계하여 고정 방식의 태양광 발전과 위치 추적 방식의 태양광 발전에 대하여 비교해 보았으며, 태양전지에 대한 특성 해석과 수학적 모델링을 통한 시뮬레이션을 행하여 태양전지 특성 사양과 비교해 보았다. 또한 전력변환 시스템을 Boost 컨버터와 전압형 인버터로 구성하여 각각에 대하여 실험하였으며, Boost 컨버터 제어에서 최대 전력점 추적을 위해 일정전압 제어법을 사용하였다. 인버터의 제어에서는 SPWM(Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation) 제어법을 사용하여 실험하여 좋은 결과를 나타내었다.
