To elucidate the ancestry of the allopolyploids E. stevenii and E. boöphthona, I examined eleven isozyme loci and 24 morphological characters from 28 populations representing five related Euphorbia species from Australia. According to an analysis of genetic and morphological data, three diploid species differentiated recently, but two independent polyploid species are estimated to have differentiated a relatively long time ago. Fixed heterozygosity for most isozymes in E. stevenii and E. boöphthona strongly suggests that these two species are allopolyploids rather than autopolyploids. The isozyme profiles of E. stevenii indicate that it is an allopolyploid that evolved from interspecific hybridization between the diploid E. tannensis and unidentified or extinct tetraploid species. In addition, isozyme patterns strongly suggest that E. stevenii was one of the ancestors of E. boöphthona. However, E. boöphthona showed a large number of fixed alleles that were not detected in any other Australian Eremophyton species. The most likely hypothesis for the origin of E. boöphthona is that it was formed by hybridization and chromosomal doubling between an extinct diploid species and the hexaploid E. stevenii.

Fourteen species of the genus Eupithecia(Larentiinae) are included, with description of a new species; E. bicornuta sp. nov. and 9 newly reported species; E. clavifera Inoue, E. signigera But-ler, E. supercastigata Inoue, E. viidaleppi Vojnits, E. addictata Dietze, E. repentina Vojnits et Laever, E. antaggregata Inoue, E. consortaria Leech, and E. kamedai Inoue from Korea.

Although the properties of flatness and condition (E) for Sacts over a monoid S are incomparable, Liu([10]) showed that necessary and sufficient condition for a monoid S over which all left S-acts that satisfy condition (E) are flat is the regularity of S. But the problem of describing a monoid over which all cyclic flat left S-acts satisfy condition (E) is still open. Thus the purpose of this paper is to characterize monoids over which all cyclic flat right S-acts satisfy condition (E).

In this paper, we design an 8-bit eSuse OTP (one-time programmable) memory based on a $0.35{\mu}m$ BCD process using differential paired eFuse cells which can sense BL data without a reference voltage and also have smaller sensing resistances of programmed eFuse links. The channel widths of a program transistor of the differential eFuse OTP cell are splitted into $45{\mu}m$ and $120{\mu}m$. Also, we implement a sensing margin test circuit with variable pull-up loads in consideration of variations of the programmed eFuse resistances. It is confirmed by measurement results that the designed 8-bit eFuse OTP memory IP gives a better yield when the channel width is $120{\mu}m$.

Feasibility tests on using liposomes for detecting food-borne pathogenic bacteria were studied with E. coli 0157:H7 as a model analyte. lmmunoliposomes, whose surface was conjugated with anti-E. coli 0157:H7 IgG and which encapsulated the marker dye, sulforhodamine B, were used for the detection label. Among the feasibility tests, the first test was to use a test-strip on which antibodies to anti-E. coli O157:H7 IgG were immobilized. In this format, immunoliposomes that did not bind to E. coli O157:H7 in sample were captured and then exhibited a visible signal which was inversely related with the number of E. coli O157:H7 in sample. The second test was a direct liposome assay followed by immunomagnetic separation. In this format, immunoliposomes which were bound to E. coli O157:H7 were lysed with detergent and produced a signal which was proportionally related with the number of E. coli O157:H7 in sample. The results from both formats indicate that liposomes can be utilized as a detection label.

Per discuteretrattare la problematica concernente un significato intimamente legato a Istria(ora è ilsuolo sloveno ) e a Trieste(ora è il suolo italinao) - quello di ≪frontiera≫, assieme alla ≪cultura e letteratura di frontiera≫ - si dovrebbe fare un'incursione nella storia. In un'altra relazione, analizzando il particolare inserimento di queste città adriatiche nella dinamica fluttuante del rapporto fra centro e provincia nello spazio mitteleuropeo, abbiamo accennato al fatto che, alla fine della prima guerra mondiale, Trieste diventa un centro periferico, situato all'estremo confine orientale d'Italia, in altre parole, una vera e propria ≪città di frontiera≫. E Istria è uno stato dell'Europa centrale confinante ad ovest con l'Italia, percui In Slovenia c'è una comunità autoctona italiana nella parte istriana. Vera "città invisibil" nella topografia del Novecento, Trieste ed Istria ebbero in sorte, negli anni che precedettero la Grande Guerra e la sua (per certi aspetti esizale) annessione all'Italia, un manipolo invidiabile di cantori. Il mito storiografico di una " letteratura triestina" sembrano dovuti, fatte salve le necessarie e risapute considerazioni cronlogiche e ambientali, a una straordinaria intuizione collettva. Più sospettiamo in loro la lucida consapevoleza dell'enorme potenzialità spirituale che scaturisce dalle condizioni materiali: dal determinato assetto di un paesaggio umano, razzi, momenti, e mile compresi. È stato forse proprio Pietro Antonio Gambini a spiegare meglio di chiunque altro questa originalissima configurazione dell'intelligenza e della fantasia in quella Rosa rossa. Il saggio esamina il rapporto di Antonio Gambini con la 'letteratura treistina' e con la movimentata attività letteraria di ≪Solaria≫. Si focalizza l'attenzione con il primo romanzo di Gambini La rosa rossa che rappresenta un omaggio al mondo istriano della sua adolescenza alla base della l'assimilazione di un ambiente cosmopolita a una parlata e a una cultura, nella fattispecie la parlata veneta dei commerci e la cultura.

We report nutritional physiology and non-specific immune responses of vitamin E in parrot fish for the first time. This study aimed to investigate the essentiality and requirements in diets based on growth performances, non-specific immune responses and a challenge test against Vibrio angullarum. Six casein-gelatin based semi-purified diets were formulated to contain six graded levels of DL-${\alpha}$-tocopheryl acetate (${\alpha}$-TA) at 0, 25, 50, 75, 100 and 500 mg/kg diet (designated as E0, E25, E50, E75, E100 and E500, respectively) and fed to triplicate groups of juvenile parrot fish for 12 weeks. The analyzed dietary concentrations of vitamin E were 0, 38, 53, 87, 119 and 538 mg/kg diet for E0, E25, E50, E75, E100 and E500, respectively. At the end of the feeding trial, growth performance and feed utilization of fish fed the E25 were significantly higher compared to that of fish fed the other diets. Liver ${\alpha}$-tocopherol concentration was significantly increased with an increase in dietary ${\alpha}$-TA in a dose dependent manner. No apparent clinical signs of vitamin E deficiency and mortality were observed in fish fed the basal diet for 12 weeks. Among the immune responses assayed, phagocytic (NBT assay) and myeloperoxidase activities were significantly increased with increment of dietary ${\alpha}$-TA levels. During the challenge test with V. anguillarum, E75, E100, and E500 diets resulted in higher survivals than E0, E25 and E50 diets. The findings of this study suggest that parrot fish require exogenous vitamin E and the optimum dietary level could be approximately 38 mg ${\alpha}$-TA/kg diet for normal growth and physiology. Dietary ${\alpha}$-TA concentration over 500 mg/kg could be required to enhance the nonspecific immune responses and improve the resistance of juvenile parrot fish against V. anguillarum.

The purpose of this thesis is to contribute to the activation of e-contract service for one stop e-trade by analyzing the problems and its solutions in e-contract service at home and abroad. In order to achieve the purpose of this thesis, case studies are done on e-contract service providers such as CECTRUST service of NTT DATA in Japan and HanCM.com of Haansoft in Korea and user companies such as Taisei Corporation using CECTRUST service and Hyundai Card using HanCM.com. The problems in the e-contract service are the lack of e-contract service providers, rare publicity of e-contract service, limited use of e-contract service at only home, higher pricing for e-contract service, short time management of e-contract documents by service providers, no application of newly developed security technology to e-contract service, unsatisfaction of requirements of e-contract service provider as trusted third party, absence of lower pricing e-contract service by service provider, authorizing key error in electronic signature under recognized authentication system in case of fail in renewal of digital certificate and reproduction of digital certificate. The solutions of these problems are the upbringing of e-contract service providers, broad publicity of e-contract service, development of e-contract service on a global basis, establishment of lower pricing for e-contract service, long time management of e-contract documents by service providers, application of newly developed security technology such as bio technology to e-contract service, satisfaction of requirements of e-contract service provider as trusted third party by designation of recognized e-document repository, development of lower e-contract service by way of application service provider(ASP), introduction of time stamping of e-contract document and signature key value. The limitation of this thesis is that the problems and its solutions could not meet with the broad recognition as they are conferred by intuition because of few e-contract service provider.

In existing internet, e-mail protocols including POP3 and IMAP4, provide e-mail services for exchanging messages with texts, hypertext and images as well. For the e-mail services in wireless mobile network, mobile e-mail service Providers have to install a mobile exclusive e-mail server or have to convert e-mail to mobile exclusive e-mail with wireless application format in case of POP3 protocol. In the e-mail service of IMAP4 case known as web-mail, It is difficult to view e-mail directly from server without IMAP4 mobile client because e-mail is stored in mail server side with remote file server. In either case, it also has the problems of viewing the e-mail of hypertext and image information at mobile, This Paper Provides e-mail extraction engine with image and hypertext conversion facilities that can be applied in wireless mobile internet and it is optimized In mobile communication environments such as a small display, small size of memory with web-mail protocol based on IMAP4 as well as POP3 mail protocol.

Effects of varied dietary energy densities on immune response and performance of Muzzafarnagari lambs were ascertained in a 180-d study. Animals (n = 24), in three groups, were fed diets providing 100% (100E), 80% (80E) or 70% (70E) of their metabolizable energy requirement. Mean nutrient digestibilities varied significantly among treatments. Nitrogen intake was lower (p<0.01) in the 70E. Nitrogen retention, was reduced (p<0.001) in 80E and 70E vs 100E. The average daily gain (p<0.001) was $47.01{\pm}4.23$, $13.54{\pm}1.72$ and $-16.67{\pm}8.24$ g for 100E, 80E and 70E, respectively. Hemoglobin concentration, haematocrit, total and differential leukocyte counts were lower (p<0.001) for 80E and 70E than for 100E with a similar trend (p<0.05) for serum glucose and total protein. Serum cortisol was reduced (p<0.001) with decreased energy availability. Antibody titre to Brucella abortus S19 showed an initial reduction in 80E and 70E vs 100E. Delayed-type hypersensitivity response was lower (p<0.001) in 80E and 70E vs 100E, accompanying a lower (p<0.001) nitric oxide production by the peripheral lymphocytes. It is concluded that the reduced dietary energy density significantly affects the growth performance and immune response of lambs.
