This study investigated the relationship between depressive symptoms and interests of workers in their 30s to 40s. This study recruited 49 workers who fit the selection criteria. Descriptive, frequency, and regression analyses were performed. To describe participant characteristics and the classification of depression and interest, descriptive and frequency analyses were used. The effect of interest patterns on depressive symptoms was analyzed using a multiple regression analysis, specifying the significance level at 0.05. The results of this study showed that half of the respondents, who were in their 30s and 40s, experienced depression. In addition, this study indicated that interest of workers in their 30s to 40s in daily, cognitive, physical, and social activities in the present was lower than that in the past. This interest level affected depression in past and present interest (p<0.05). This study investigated the relationship between interest and depression of workers in their 30s to 40s and suggest that interest in various areas may help prevent depression.

This research attempted to examine whether there were differences in preference for the shoes according to fashion lifestyle and age by conducting survey on 200 women of 20s and 40s among the adult women who were expected to have interest in not only functionality but also aesthetic aspects of shoes. First, the results of comparing the preferences according to fashion lifestyles showed that those who pursued practical group preferred loafer, strap shoes, and baggy boots, indicating that they preferred low and comfortable shape of shoes which are easy to put on/take off and easy to coordinate with any clothes. Those who pursued personality group and ostentation group were more sensitive to fashion than practical group preferred high heel shoes, which could express their own personality, it would be great to have various designs by reflecting the trendy materials and details focusing on pumps, strap and walker boots which can express individuality and supplement the body shape and height as matching to the trendy clothes. Second, as women in 20s have tendency to show more preference of a certain trendy shoes shape than women in 40s, the shoes designs for 20s should focus on certain types of shoes preferred by them by varying materials and details, rather than having various designs. However, it would be great to show various designs for the shoes for 40s. Most of the 20s are the individual and complex fashion-seeking types while the 40s have the most of practical fashion-seeking type and the least of individual fashion-seeking type.

A low-cost, high-performance 40 Gb/s clock recovery module using a phase-locked loop(PLL) for a 40 Gb/s optical receiver has been designed and implemented. It consists of a clock recovery circuit, a RF mixer and frequency discriminator for phase/frequency detection, a DR-VCO, a phase shifter, and a hold circuit. The recovered 40 GHz clock is synchronized with a stable 10 GHz DR-VCO. The clock stability and jitter characteristics of the implemented PLL-based clock recovery module has shown to significantly improve the performance of the conventional open-loop type clock recovery module with DR filter. The measured peak-to-peak RMS jitter is about 230 fs. When input signal is dropped, the 40 GHz clock is generated continuously by hold circuit. The implemented clock recovery module can be used as a low-cost and high-performance receiver module for 40 Gb/s commercial optical network.

We have examined the structures and cellular distributions of the SV40 late RNAs present in monkey cells at late times after infection. One particular RNA species, spliced at residue 373(373-RNA), was found to be as abundant as the major late 16S RNAs. This result was unexpected since previous reports showed that the molecular ratio of the 373-spliced 19S RNA to 16S RNA is approximately 0.1 among either cytoplasmic polyadenylated or polysomal viral RNAs. Both sedimentation and electrophoretic analysis indicated that the 373-RNA was approximately 16S to 19S in size. Therefore, it was not a splicing intermediate or the product of premature termination of transcription within the late leader region. Whereas most SV40 late 16S RNA is polyadenylated and located in the cytoplasm, the majority of 373-RNA was found to lack poly A, and be located in the nucleus.

This study researched the life experiences of 30-40's voluntary single women. Currently, a growing number of women in their 30s and 40s in South Korea are voluntarily choosing single life to achieve self-realization and focus on their lives. We want to take note of this phenomenon and take an in-depth the lives of voluntary single life beings they are experiencing by using hermeneutic phenomenological study method of Van Manen. The results of this study are as follows. First, 30-40s voluntary single women have experienced desire of self-realization through their single life. Second, they were satisfied with their lives based on the concept of having free choices, stable social support and they social-economic base. Third, they have experienced a low awareness of single life in society and many people. Last, they were preparing for their future lives for their physical health, finances, and role as parents' provider. This study provides a better understanding of the lives of 30-40s voluntary single women.

The purpose of this study is to examine differences between 20s and 40s in visuospatial performance and brain activation areas using functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI). Eight male college students in their twenties ($21.5{\pm}2.3$ years old) and six male adults in their forties ($45.7{\pm}2.6$ years old) who were graduated from college participated in the study. A visuospatial task was presented while brain images were acquired by a 3T fMRI system. Compared to the 20s the 40s showed lower visuospatial performance. There were more activations observed at the parietal and superior frontal areas at 20s compared to 40s. There were more activations observed at the middle frontal and occipital areas at 40s compared to 20s. The results of this study show that the lowering of visuospatial performance with aging was correlated to the decrease of activation area at the parietal lobe and the change of activation area at the frontal lobe.

Ocular lesions induced in 40 specific-pathogen-free Marek's disease (MD) resistant chicks by inoculation at 1 day of age with very virulent strain of Marek's disease virus (WV) were pathologically examined. Grossly,24/40 (60%) chicks had white gel-like materials in the vitreous body, whereas thickening and discoloration of iris (gray eye) were not observed. Microscopically, characteristic ocular MD lesions were observed in choroid (27/40), ciliary (30/40) and iris (23/40) in which small focal inflammatory to diffuse neoplastic Iymphoid cells were infiltrated. Five out of 40 MDV-inoculated birds revealed necrotizing Iymphomas in choroid. These lesions consisted of necrotic and degenerating Iymphoblasts accompanied by intranuclear inclusion body. There was retinal atrophy and necrosis with inclusion body detected in necrotic ganglion, inner or outer nuclear and infiltrated Iymphoblast cells. Conjunctiva showed lymphoid cell infiltration in 29/40 chicks inoculated with MDV, Vitreous body exhibited mild to severe exudation of eosinophilic proteinaceous material in 24/40 chicks. These lesions were associated with Iymphoid cell infutration, edema and fibrosis of choroid. Pecten (7/40) and optic nerve (13/40) were infiltrated usually mildly with Iymphoid cells. From these results, very virulent strain, Md/5 of MDV caused high incidence of ocular lesions in MD resistant chicks. In addition, Md/5 induced exudation of proteinaceous material into the vitreous body and fibrosis of choroid. Necrotizing ocular Iymphoma lesions in choroid is the first report in the MD literature.

최근 들어 국내 40~50대 층에서 SNS사용이 꾸준히 늘고 있다. 반면 신규사용자 유입의 한계에 다다른 인스타그램과 같은 글로벌 서비스 브랜드가 국내에서 사용자를 늘리려면 40~50대의 신규 유입이 필요한 실정이다. 그러나 국내 40~50대는 이러한 서비스에 어려움을 느끼고 있어 쉽게 접근하지 못하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 신규 사용자의 유입에 도움이 되고자 40~50대가 인스타그램 사용에 있어서 어떠한 점이 어려운지, 그리고 국내 서비스와 비교해 진입의 장벽이 무엇인지에 관해 UX/UI 측면에서 사용성 테스트를 진행하여 다음과 같은 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째 글로벌 서비스를 현지화 할 때에는 단순 번역이 아닌 이해가 쉽고 적절한 레이블링에 대해 고려가 있어야 한다. 둘째, 주요 기능 및 자주 사용하는 기능은 메뉴 Depth를 단순화하여 접근이 용이 할 수 있도록 고려해야 할 것이다. 셋째 GUI 측면에서 아이콘의 인식률을 높이도록 직감적인디자인을 개선해야한다. 가능하다면 텍스트와 아이콘의 조합 형태로 제공하는 것이 좋은 결과를 보일 것이다.

본 논문은 10Gb/s 클라이언트 신호를 4 채널까지 매핑 및 다중화하여 40Gb/s OTN 신호를 생성하는 OTU3 프레이머의 구조 설계를 기술한다. 클라이언트 신호는 상호 비동기인 경우 먼저 ODU2 로 비트 동기식으로 매핑된 후 ODU3 페이로드에 자리맞춤 방법으로 매핑 및 다중화될 수 있다.

This study analyzed the change pattern of Korean male body size in their 40s-60s and their current body shape based on the research materials of the 5th(2004) and 6th(2010) conducted by Size Korea. The purposes of this study are to make the related fashion industry recognize the changes of Korean male body size in their 40s-60s and suggest basic materials for clothing design that reflects such trend. As a result of analyzing changes of male body size in their 40s-60s by age, it was found that height, length, breadth and weight decreased across most of the items as the age increased. As for circumference, as the age increased, waist circumference (natural indentation), waist circumference (omphalion), and abdominal extension circumference increased, while other items decreased. In relation to the depth, as the age increased, hip depth and armscye depth decreased, while chest depth, bust depth, waist depth (natural indentation), and waist depth (omphalion) increased. Analyzing the change pattern of Korean male body size in their 40s-60s according to measurement year, height size increased in the 6th year across most of the body part items compared to the 5th year. It means that height of body parts related to body height increased in overall. As for circumference, most items showed decrease, which means that Korean male's body shape in their 40s-60s gets slim gradually. While the breadth of the chest decreased, the depth of the chest increased. which is assumed due to the increase in exercise according to high interest in health in a society. It will be possible to design proper clothes for consumer body type and trends if we design clothes that afford multilateral attention to the patterns, design, or material in clothing design by applying the aspects of Korean male body size in their 40s-60s and body type change.
