Practical problem-based teaching·learning process plan to develop and apply to enhance safety awareness in middle school students (중학생의 주생활 안전의식 함양을 위한 실천적 문제 중심 가정과 교수·학습 과정안 개발 및 적용)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop and evaluate a practical problem-based teaching learning process plan for safety in residential environment to raise safety awareness of middle school students. The plan consisting of 4 lessons has been developed and implemented according to the ADDIE model. Various activity materials (26 student's activity sheets and 8 reading texts, and 8 teacher's reading texts) and visual materials (4 sets of pictures & photos and 8 moving pictures) as well as questionnaire were developed for the 4-session lessons. The plans were implemented by the researcher to 4 classes 121 freshmen of M boy's middle school in Kyeongbuk during December 21st to 29th, 2015. Students were highly enjoyed and satisfied with the whole 4-lessons in the aspects such as the level of participation in the lesson, understanding of the contents, adequacy of materials and activities, and usefulness in own's daily life. Students also reported that they were highly aware to practice the contents learned from the lessons in daily family life at home with one's family and recommended to teach the lessons to other schools, too. It can be concluded that the teaching learning process plan for safety in residential environment would raise safety awareness of middle school students through the Home Economics subject.

Korean University Students' Preferences for the Rental Apartments and Housing Location Factors - Comparative Analysis between Korean and US University Students - (국내 대학생들의 임대 아파트에 대한 인식과 주거입지 선호 특성에 관한 연구 - 미국 University of Washington 사례와의 비교분석 -)

  • This paper aims at, firstly, analyzing the preference of rental apartment owned by real estate companies, and the characteristics of housing location factors which Korean university students prefer, secondly, examining the effect of location factors to housing preferences. Especially, comparative analysis between this study and US students' precedent case study are used, in order to derive the implications about the housing policy. The main results of this study are as follows. Firstly, according to the questionnaire survey results, a great part of Korea and US university students prefer rental apartments owned by real estate companies as next housing after graduation. And a meaningful part of them prefer rental apartments owned by real estate companies as permanent housings. Secondly, according to factor analysis, five new factors such as (1) housing condition, (2) facilities and management, (3) neighborhood, (4) reputation and policy, (5) accessibility are extracted. Finally, according to logistic regression analysis, "facilities and management" and "reputation and policy" factors influence the preference of rental apartment. Therefore, provisions of "facilities and management" and "reputation and policy" factor are important to activate rental apartments owned by real estate companies for young generation.

City Center Regeneration on City Center Function Type in Busan (부산시 도심기능의 유형별 도심재생에 관한 연구)

  • As the survey and the analysis the research can offer the characteristic methods for regeneration in the city of Busan. To figure out the functional regions of city center the research has analyzed 15 Dongs in city center and 12 Dongs in sub centers to find out the donut phenomenon and the regeneration of city center. The survey has chosen 22 variation factors using factor analysis. Major factors in each year are shown 4 factors, presenting 80.4% of the accumulated explanation rate. These factors explain residental centered, commercial centered, management centered, and development centered factor. The donut phenomenon emerges in the city centers as a residential function, and the phenomenon occurs in the sub centers as commercial or managerial function. So it is necessary to plan the regeneration of the total city center owing to the total donut phenomenon regarding the functions. And the methods to regenerate city centers should be established according to the various regional characterizations.

  • This study analyzes the effects of residential satisfaction factors of small sized housing, according to the costumer groups based demographic aspects. To attain the goal of this study, we set 8 groups (male and female : 2 groups, ages : 3 group, marriage : 2 groups, including whole group : 1) and selected 6 independent variables such as the social factor, economic factor, accessibility factor. external comfort factor, physical factor, and convenience of living factor. As a result, it is found that the economic factor has the statically significant determinant in all the 8 groups, with big positive coefficient. And the convenience of living factor is another important significant determinant in 6 groups. But the physical factor shows low the significant influence or insignificant influence in the all groups. Other factors, such as the external comfort factor, the social factor, accessibility factor. and convenience factor, are different depending on the groups.

Cluster and Factor Analyses Using Water Quality Data in the Sapkyo Reservoir Watershed (삽교호유역의 수질자료를 이용한 군집분석 및 요인분석)

  • 삽교호유역에 위치한 19개 수질관측지점에서 측정된 월별수질자료를 이용하여 수질관측지점을 2개에서 7개의 수질특성으로 분류하였으며, 그에 따른 수질요인분석을 실시하였다. 군집분석결과 삽교호유역의 각 하천은 개개의 수질특성을 보이고 있으며, 삽교호, 삽교천, 무한천 및 곡교천의 4개 그룹으로 나눌 수가 있었다. 수질분석결과에 의하면 삽교호에서는 부유물질의 농도가 다른 하천보다 높았는데 이는 하천으로부터 유입되는 풍부한 영양염에 의한 식물플랑크톤의 생물량 증가에 따른 것으로 사료된다. 또한 곡교천의 수질은 다른 하천에 비해 생화학적산소요구량은 $3.5\~4.8$배, 화학적산소요구량은 $1.7\~2.5$배 높았으며, 전반적으로 삽교호 유역의 수질은 부영양상대를 훨씬 초과하였다. 요인분석결과 삽교천과 무한천은 농경지와 주거지에 의한 수질요인이 지배적이었고, 곡교천은 천안도시지역으로부터 유입되는 과다한 유기물유입과 상류에 위치한 하수 처리장의 영향을 복합적으로 받고 있는 것으로 사료된다. 삽교호의 수질은 삽교천과 무한천 및 곡교천에서 높은 부하를 보인 인자가 주된 오염요인으로 나타났다.

  • 건설교통부가 5일 '2007년도 업무 계획'을 발표했다. 건교부는 참여정부 출범 이후 지난 4년 동안의 성과를 평가하고, 그동안 추진해온 각종 정책을 되짚어보고 앞으로의 계획을 7개로 나눴다. 건교부가 발표한 올해 업무 계획의 핵심은 집값 안정과 주거 복지에 총력을 기울여 국민의 신뢰를 회복하는 데 있다. 올해 기대되는 건교부의 7대 계획을 들어보자.

  • 대한주택공사에서는 지역 여건에 맞는 쾌적한 단지조성과 최대한의 실내 공간 확보를 위한 주거환경개선사업의 일환으로 인천 송현지구에 대한 현상설계경기를 실시, 지난 2월 15일 무영종합건축(안길원+손광민)안을 최우수작으로 선정, 발표했다. 총 8개 사무소에서 작품을 제출한 이번 설계경기의 우수작에 장건축(오택길)안이, 가작으로는 다원건축(김영택)안이 각각 선정됐다.

Development and Evaluation of the PBL Teaching/Learning Process Plan of 'Housing Culture and Practical Space Use' for Home Economics in Middle School (중학교 가정과 문제 중심 '주생활 문화와 주거 공간 활용' 교수·학습 과정안 개발과 평가)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop and evaluate the teaching/learning process plan of 'housing culture and practical space use' for home economics in middle school according to the problem based learning(PBL) model. The plan consisting of 4-lessons has been developed and implemented following the steps of ADDIE model. Various activity materials (4 scenarios, 6 individual activity sheets, 10 reading texts, and 5 working resources) and visual materials (4 sets of ppt and 4 moving pictures) as well as questionnaire were developed for the 4-session lessons. The plans were implemented to a single class of 21 junior students at H middle school in rural area, Kyeongnam, from 1st to 12th of April, 2019. Students highly enjoyed and were satisfied with the whole 4-lessons in aspects such as understanding of the contents, adequacy of materials and activities, and usefulness in one's own daily life. Additionally, they have more actively participated in the lessons than usual and even interested in learning more of such lessons. Students also reported that they highly accomplished the goal of each lesson as well as overall objectives. They showed interest in the major part of PBL lesson such as scenario and group activities. And they engaged themselves in drawing the share housing space plan with '5D planner' web program which they described as the best part of the lessons. The teaching/learning process plan developed in this study may be used as a theme of maker education, which is emerging these days. It can be concluded that the PBL teaching/learning process plans for 'housing values and practical space use' would contribute to improving students' attitude on living with others and ability to manage one's individual life.

Residents' Satisfaction with Visual Appearance of the Housing Environment in Korean Multi-Family Housing (주거환경에 대한 거주자 시각만족의 경험적 모형)

  • 주거환경에서 거주자의 '시각만족(residents' satisfaction with visual appearance)은 더 큰 추상적 개념인 '주거만족'(residents' housing satisfaction)과의 밀접한 인과적 관련(Francescato et. al., 1979) 때문뿐만 아니라 인간 기본 욕구 중의 하나인 미적 욕구의 충족과 관련되어 있다는 점(Chin, 1991)에서도 중요시 되어야 할 이론적 개념이다. 본 연구에서는 거주자의 시각만족을 종속지표로 보고, 다양한 영향 가설변수들과의 인과 적 관련도를 경로분석(path analysis)을 통해 검증하고 있으며, 어떤 변수 가 어떤 이유(경로)로 또는 얼마만한 크기로 거주자의 시각만족에 영향을 주는 가가 중점적으로 토의된다. 한국의 6개 대단위 주거단지로부터 다단 계표집 방법과 설문면담 방법을 통해 646명의 응답이 수거되었다. 분석의 첫 단계로써, 다수의 설문문항을 본 연구의 가설 변수로 집약하기 위한 요 인분석(factor analysis)이 사용되었고, 요인 분석으로부터 추출된 변수들간 의 인과적 관련도를 검증하기 위해 최종적으로 경로분석이 사용되었다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약해 볼 때, 본 연구의 가설 변수 대부분이 최종 종속변 수인 거주자의 '시각만족'에 유의한 인과 영향을 보이는 것으로 나타났으 며, 구체적으로 '시각적 무질서'(visual disorder), '시각적 단조로움'(visual monotony), '단지 과밀감'(development crowding) 등이 부정적 영향을, '시 각적 매력'(visual attractiveness)과 '인근 자연녹지의 존재'(presence of nearby natural environment)등이 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 파악되었 다. 그 외에도 '옥외공간이용 편리'(outdoor or recreation convenience)와 ' 이웃만족'(satisfaction with neighbors), 그리고 '주거환경 유형'(building type, building arrangement type)등도 유의한 인과적 관련을 보이므로써, 기존 문헌들이 제시하고 있는 것보다 훨씬 다양한 변수들이 다양한 경로를 통해 거주자 시각만족의 영향인자가 될 수 있는 가능성을 제시하고 있다. 가설 변수의 하나인 '길찾기의 난이 정도'(difficulty of way-finding)와 종 속변수간에 유의한 관련도가 나타나지 않은 이유로 길찾기 변수가 '시각만 족'보다는 거주자의 '안전만족'(safety)과 관련된 변수일 가능성도 아울러 지적되었다. 본 연구의 결과로부터, 주거 계획 및 설계분야 그리고 추후 관 련 연구 분야를 위한 여러 제안들이 제시되었다.

A Study on Housing Affordability of Elderly Households According to Household Types and Housing Tenure (노년층의 가구구성 및 주택점유형태에 따른 주거비 부담능력에 관한 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to find the housing affordability of elderly household according to household types and housing tenure and to contribute to desirable elderly housing policies. The data from the 2010 Korea Housing Survey was used for the analysis of this study and the final sample included 6,780 elderly households. The results of this study are summarized as follows; It was found that all kinds of elderly household for housing affordability were affected by income, residence period, housing location and size of house. And housing location was a highly influential factor. Besides, female elderly house-owners and male elderly renters living alone were likely to have higher housing cost burden. And if elderly renters households suffer more financial burden, they had have higher housing cost burden. It is implies that desirable elderly housing polices by government need to consider elderly househod's diverse characteristics in aged society.
