  • This paper proposes a new approach for digital watermarking and secure copyright protection of video. the principal aim being to discourage illicit copying and distribution of copyrighted material. The method presented here is based on the three dimensional discrete wavelet transform of video scene. The watermark is a copyright information encoded in the form of a spread spectrum signal to ensure the system security and is embedded in the 3D DWT magnitude of video chunks. The performance of the presented technique is evaluated experimentally.

  • We propose a now watermarking scheme that can be used to embed multiple bits and also resilient to geometrical transforms such as scaling, rotation, and cropping, based on off - axis holographic watermark that allows multiple watermark recovery without original content(cover image). The holographic watermark is that Fourier transformed digital hologram is embedded into cover image in the spatial domain. The proposed method has not only increased robustness with a stronger embedding but also imprescriptibility of the watermark in the evaluation process. To compare with the convention기 scheme, the spread spectrum, we embedded and recovered maximum 1,024 bits that consist of binary number over PSNR(peak signal-to-noise ratio) 39dB. And also, we computed robustness with BER(bit error rate) corresponding the above attack

  • A digital watermarking technique applying psychoacoustic model for audio signal is proposed in this paper. In the watermarking scheme, the pseudo-random bit stream used as a watermark signal is embedded into the audio signal in both speech and music. The strength of the embedded signal is subject to the human auditory system in such a way that the disturbances on host audio signal are beyond the sensing of human ears. The experimental results show that the quality of the watermarked audio signal, in term of signal to noise ratio, can be improved up to 3.2 dB.

  • In this paper. digital watermarking algorithm based on human visual system and transform domain is presented. Firstly, original image is separated into RGB thannels, watermark is embedded into the coefficients of DCT so as to consider a contrast sensitivity and texture degrees. In preprocessing, DCT domain based transform is involved and binary image of visually recognizable patterns is utilized as a watermark. Consequently, experimental results showed that proposed algorithm is robust and imperceptibility such destruction attack as JPEG compression.

  • In this paper, a problem of geometrically distorted images is considered. In particular, the paper discusses the detection of a watermark from a photographed image of the watermarked picture. The image is possibly obtained by using a digital camera. This watermark detection problem is made difficult by various geometric distortions added to the original picture through the printing and photographing processes. In particular, the paper focuses on the geometric distortion due to a projective transformation, as part of a camera 3D-to-2D imaging process. It is well-known that a cross ratio of collinear points is invariant under a perspective projection. By exploiting this fact, a projective-invariant digital watermarking technique is developed. By detecting the picture's corners, and the image center point at the intersection of two main diagonal lines, predefined cross ratios are used to compute the watermark embedded locations. From those identified embedding pixel locations, a watermark can be detected by performing a correlation between a watermark pattern and the image over those pixels. The proposed method does not require an inverse transformation on the distorted image, thus simplifying the detection process. Performance of the proposed method has been analyzed through computer experiments

  • In this paper, we propose a new digital audio watermarking technique with the wavelet transform. The watermark is embedded by eliminating unnecessary information of audio signal based on human auditory system (HAS). This algorithm is an audio watermarking method, which does not require any original audio information in watermark extraction process. In this paper, the masking effect is used for audio watermarking, that is, post-tempera] masking effect. We construct the window with the synchronization signal and we extract the best frame in the window by using the zero-crossing rate (ZCR) and the energy of the audio signal. The watermark may be extracted by using the correlation of the watermark signal and the portion of the frame. Experimental results show good robustness against MPEG1-layer3 compression and other common signal processing manipulations. All the attacks are made after the D/A/D conversion.

  • In this paper, an informed watermarking algorithm is proposed that aids in concealing packet loss errors in video communications. This watermark-based error concealment (WEC) method embeds a low resolution version of the video frame inside itself as watermark data. At the receiver, the extracted watermark is used as a reference for error concealment. The proposed DCT-based algorithm employs informed watermarking techniques in order to minimize the distortion of host frames. At the encoder, a predictive feedback loop is employed which helps to adjust the strength of the data embedding. Furthermore, the distortion of the DCT coefficients introduced in the embedding can be removed to a considerable extent, by employing bit-sign adaptivity. Simulation results on standard video sequences show that the proposed informed WEC scheme has an advantage of 3$\sim$4 dB in PSNR over non-informed WEC and that even a non-informed WEC is still superior to conventional error concealment techniques.

  • This paper proposes a stereo image insertion technique on DCT coefficients using the embedded method developed in the digital watermarking in due consideration of compatibility with conventional 2D system such JPEG, and MPEG. In conventional transmission method users with conventional digital TV cannot watch the transmitted 3D image sequence as 2D image, because of affectivity of conventional 3D image compression. To give an answer, in this paper, DCT coefficients are changed according to its disparity on YCbCr channels. Our method can insert stereo images into a conventional image compression method based on DCT.

  • In this paper, I propose a video watermaking method using adaptive threshold value and half-cell motion vector. Conventional method cause a lot of change of motion vectors and bring about a falling-off in invisibility, because it search embedding condition about whole macroblocks and watermarks are embedded in arbitrary motion vectors. Proposed method improve invisibility and decrease in number of change of motion vectors, because it create threshold value by using power of motion vector(PMV), and watermarks are embedded in motion vectors which greater than threshold value. Consequently, proposed method improve invisibility with on an average 5.4 dB ~9.3dB according to video bit-stream.

  • For copyright protection of digital contents, we employ watermarking techniques to embed watermark signals into digital host data. In this paper we propose an adaptive watermarking algorithm for three-dimensional (3-D) mesh models. Watermark signals are inserted into vertex coordinates adaptively according to changes of their position values. While we embed strong watermarks in the areas of large variations, watermarks are weakly inserted in other areas. After we generate triangle strips by traversing the 3-D model and convert the Cartesian coordinates to the spherical coordinate system, we calculate variations of vertex positions along the traversed strips. Then, we insert watermark signals into the vertex coordinates adaptively according to the calculated variations. We demonstrate that imperceptibility of the inserted watermark is significantly improved and show the bit error rate (BER) for robustness.
