Non-uniform 3D grid를 이용한 삼각형망 생성에 관한 연구 (Triangular Mesh Generation using non-uniform 3D grids)

  • Reverse engineering technology refers to the process that creates a CAD model of an existing part using measuring devices. Recently, non-contact scanning devices have become more accurate and the speed of data acquisition has increased drastically. However, they generate thousands of points per second and various types of point data. Therefore. it becomes a important to handle the huge amount and various types of point data to generate a surface model efficiently. This paper proposes a new triangular mesh generation method using 3D grids. The geometric information of a part can be obtained from point cloud data by estimating normal values of the points. In our research, the non-uniform 3D grids are generated first for feature based data reduction based on the geometric information. Then, triangulation is performed with the reduced point data. The grid structure is efficiently used not only for neighbor point search that can speed up the mesh generation process but also for getting surface connectivity information to result in same topology surface with the point data. Through this integrated approach, it is possible to create surface models from scanned point data efficiently.

단일 카메라를 이용한 3차원 공간 정보 생성 (3D Reconstruction Using a Single Camera)

  • 경제성을 얻기 위해 단일 카메라를 이용하여 3차원 복원을 수행한 뒤 그 정보를 토대로 운전자에게 전방에 존재하는 장애물의 통과 여부를 알려줄 수 있는 운전 보조 장치에 관한 연구를 진행한다. 그 결과 depth 정보는 떨어지나 직진상의 장애물을 통과 할 수 있는 정보를 제공할 수 있다. 3차원 복원을 위해서는 내부파라미터를 측정하고, 특징점을 찾아 매칭하여 기본행렬을 계산하고 이를 토대로 삼각측량을 수행하여 얻는다. 실험을 통해 결과를 확인해 보면 depth 정보는 불완전하나, 장애물 통과 여부를 판단 할 수 있는 X, Y 축의 정보는 신뢰성을 가진다.

  • This paper describes an automated system for analyzing the stress intensity factors(SIFs) of three-dimensional (3D) cracks. A geometry model, i.e.a solid containing one or several 3D cracks is defined. Several distributions of local node density are chosen, and then automatically superposed on one another over the geometry model by using the fuzzy knowledge processing. Nodes are generated by the bucketing method, and ten-noded quadratic tetrahedral solid elements are generated by the Delauuay triangulation techniques. The singular elements such that the mid-point nodes near crack fornt are shifted at the quarter-points are automatically placed along the 3D crack front. THe complete finite element (FE) model generated, i.e the mesh with material properties and boundary conditions is given to one of the commercial FE codes, and a stress analysis is performed. The SIFs are calculated using the displacement extrapolation method. To demonstrate practical performance of the present system, a semi- elliptical surface crack in a plate subjected to tension is solved.

UML Design of Graphic User Interface for Aerial Triangulation Using ArcGIS

  • Efficient representation is crucial in the analysis of complex geospatial information. In case of aerial triangulation, most of currently available software are designed as black boxes where only an experienced user would be able to prepares the preformatted input file and interprete the result of the adjustment. This paper introduces a solution to this problem through the UML design of a Graphical User Interface (GUI) for the aerial triangulation task. The design was then implemented with ArcGIS. The error of the exterior orientation of each aerial Imagery was represented with a 3-D error ellipse, enabling the visualization of the adjustment result. The attributes of images and points (control points, tie points and image points) were maintained as a database which enables the searching and querying of adjustment information.

  • A new dimension measuring method for the measurement of diameter of an object has been developed using laser triangulation. The 3-D data of an object was calculated from the 2dimensional image information obtained by the laser stripe using the laser triangulation. The system can measure the diameter of hole not only in a normal plane but also in an incline plane. We can experiment with magnification that is optimized according to size of object using zoom lens. In this paper, the theoretical formula and calibration of the system were described. The measuring precision of the system was investigated by experiment.

  • This paper describes a coordinate measuring technique based on optical triangulation using the two images. To overcome the defect of structured light system which measures coordinate point by point, light source is replaced by CCD camera. Pixels in CCD camera were considered as virtual light source. The overall geometry including two camera images is modeled. Using this geometry, the formula for calculating 3D coordinate of specified point is derived. In a word, the ray from a virtual light source was reflected on measuring point and the corresponding image point was made on the other image. Through the simulation result, validation of formula is verified. This method enables to acquire multiple points detection by photographing.

네트워크 RTK 무인기의 항공삼각측량 정확도 평가 (Accuracy Assessment of Aerial Triangulation of Network RTK UAV)

  • 본 연구에서는 건물이 혼재한 준 도심 지역에서 발생할 수 있는 재난/재해를 가정하여 네트워크 RTK (Real Time Kinematic) 측위가 가능한 무인기를 이용한 항공삼각측량의 정확도를 평가하였다. 검사점 측위의 신뢰성을 확보하기 위해 검사점을 건물의 옥상에 설치하여 네 시간 이상의 GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) 정적 측위를 수행하였다. 객관적인 정확도 평가를 위해 소프트웨어에서 자동으로 인식 가능한 코드화된 대공 타겟을 사용하였다. 무인기에서는 네트워크 RTK 측위의 일종인 VRS (Virtual Reference Station) 방식을 이용하여 영상 취득 당시 카메라의 3차원 좌표를 측정하였고, IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit)와 짐벌 회전각 측정을 통해 카메라의 3축 회전각을 측정하였다. Agisoft Metashape를 이용하여 내·외부 표정요소를 추정·갱신한 결과, 항공삼각측량의 3차원 RMSE (Root Mean Square Error)는 영상의 중복도와 촬영 각도의 조합에 따라 크게는 0.153 m에서 작게는 0.102 m로 나타났다. 더욱 높은 수준의 항공삼각측량 정확도를 확보하기 위해서는 연직 영상의 중복도를 높이는 것이 일반적이나 경사 영상을 추가하는 것이 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 대응 단계의 재난/재해 현장에서 긴급하게 무인기 매핑을 수행할 경우 중복도를 높이기 보다는 경사 영상도 함께 취득할 필요가 있다.

  • In manufacture of printed circuit boards, one important issue is precisely to measure the three-dimensional shape of the solder paste silk-screened prior to direct surface mounting of chips. This paper presents the 3D shape reconstruction of solder paste using the optical triangulation method based on structured light or slit beam and the measurement algorithm for height, volume. area, and coplanarity on component pads from the 3D range image. Futhermore, statistical process control function is incorporated for process capability analysis.
