Survey on the Application of three dimensional product modeling in the army (군에서의 3차원 제품 모델 적용 방안 연구)

  • To expand the use of three dimensional(3D) product modelling in the army, we have analyzed military technical data management system, as well as the military guidelines for the unique format and content of technical data package. Because traditional munition sector is based on the machinery and equipment industry, they have usually applied two dimensional(2D) drawings to prepare a design and to make a product. For that reason, there is no provision for 3D product modelling as a technical data package in the military guideline. In this study, we proposed an improvement scheme for the vitalization of 3D product modelling in the army not only in terms of related guideline but also military technical data management system.

An Analysis of Research Trends in Clothing Construction Field - Focused on Korean Journal Publications from 2010 to 2021 - (의복구성학 분야의 연구동향 분석 - 2010~2021년 까지 국내학술지를 중심으로 -)

  • This study aims to present the direction of research for rational clothing design and production and improve the productivity of the fashion industry by analyzing the most recent 11 years (from 2010 to 2021) with regard to the clothing construction field. Analyzing the research trends in the field of clothing construction, which is deeply related to clothing production, will suggest the direction of research for clothing design and production. To analyze the current status of research in the field of clothing construction, research trends were analyzed, focusing on 525 research journal articles from six Korean clothing-related journals with terms related to torso and upper and lower limbs. The analysis results of this study are as follows. First, the rapid development of IT technology requires changes and innovations in all processes of clothing construction, including body shape analysis and pattern design. Therefore, it is believed that both body shape and pattern research should be continuously conducted to produce clothes with an excellent silhouette and fit depending on the body shape through studies, such as developing 3D patterns and converting 3D body figures into 2D patterns, among others. Second, since body shape studies are concentrated on young, middle-aged, and the elderly, it is believed that various body shape studies should be conducted on infants and elementary, middle, and high school students who have significant changes in body shape due to changes in the living environment. Third, if the content of pattern research is expanded to various items and is widely conducted, it will contribute to the production of clothing that has an excellent fit. Fourth, at a time when aging in society is accelerating, it is believed that research on patterns and clothing systems that can increase the fit of clothing by analyzing the body types of elderly male and female consumers should be actively conducted. Because the analysis was conducted only among six Korean academic journals, there is a limitation in the expanded interpretation of the results derived from this study.

  • In order to prevent the environmental pollution, the dryers are commonly used to treat sludge that one of sewages is polluting the quality of water. Generally, the drying method is various as to the property of material and use. Rotary dryer is a good apparatus to treat them. It is the way that is to make substance transmission and heat using hot air between sludge particle and heated gas. In this paper, we developed a 3-pass rotary dryer for a design program for the 3-pass rotary dryer with various conditions. The working conditions of dryer are a raw sludge feed rate, input & output water content and operation time etc.

A Study of Design and Implementation of Cultural Property Contents Using Augmented Reality (증강현실을 이용한 문화재 콘텐츠 설계 및 구현 연구)

  • Augmented reality is used in various fields such as culture, education, military, medical. This is a method of recognizing information of an augmented object on the camera. Exhibitions and educational contents for children are already produced in various ways. This research showed the developed contents deliver cultural property information using augmented reality. 'Galgibi AR' and 'Jang Young-sil's Invention AR' allow you to experience cultural assets up close. 'Galgibi AR' is the experience content in the form of 3D blocks. It makes to understand the structure of the zeolite, Galgibi. 'Jang Young-sil's Invention AR' make you to watch out four objects in detail by zooming in, zooming out and rotating. It can also take pictures with the inventions. Both contents implement what we want to deliver accurately through simple content. They increase the enjoyment of cultural heritage through experience contents. This research addressed to help the cultural property information spread to the public by using Augmented Reality.

A Study on the Registration of Patent and Utility Models by Fashion Firms in Korea -Focus on IPC A41B and A41D- (패션기업의 특허.실용신안 등록현황에 관한 연구 -IPC분류코드 A41B와 A41D를 중심으로-)

  • This study analyzed the registration of patent and utility models by fashion firms in Korea. A total of 2,291 registration cases of IPC A41B-H from the period of 1996 to 2009 were collected by KIPRIS of the Korean Intellectual Property Organization (KIPO). All cases were analyzed by year to review the longitudinal trend and 481 cases of IPC A41B (shirts, underwear, baby linen, and handkerchiefs) and 1088 cases of IPC A41D (outerwear, protective garments, and accessories) were analyzed by content (provided benefit type and developing method), by detailed product items and the characteristics of the applicant. The results of this study were as follows: 1) Registration of IPC 41 increased steeply by the year (especially since 2006) and the patent registrations increased more than those in the utility model. 2) Analyzing the application content of A41B on the basis of benefit showed that 75% were to provide new functions and the rest were for health. In terms of the developing method, 83% of benefit provided by the application were by design development, 11.2% were by material, and the rest was by process, In the cases of IPC A41D, 23.6% were for safety and protection. In terms of the developing method, the process and material development were more frequently adopted than in the cases of A41B. 3) The major product types of A41B were socks, underwear, and infant wear, whereas gloves and parts of clothing were major items in A41D. 4) In terms of the characteristics of the applicant, registration by firms was greater for patents than for utility models and registration by foreigners increased in 2006 due to the complete opening of the retail market. 5) Fifteen universities registered for a total 57 cases and major applications were for IT related clothing or high-tech protective items.

This thesis aims to study on the character of 'namsadang' group what have been produced in ansung-si, that the show up to people about an-sung 4D Contents what local actually character and to make it more competitive through 3D,4D spacial character project developing process. It is need for new various characters, that (3D,4D-VFX) -Graphics of new an-sung'namsadang' group. that will be total different and new development. total VFX; 4-Dimantion visual graphics released in next an-sung local festival, Business prospects are bright and receiving benefits are increasing. As seen in the case of the character of in 2015, it can be a measure to earn benefits as a higher value-added business if it is managed in the local autonomous entities. In this thesis, I propose what the of character in the local special graphics; VFX style characters design. also I was show up to '4D contents character;' ; 'namsadang' group; creative processing including planing. It is possible to be ranged from special 4D series animation, a feature-length special effct cartoon film, character products, and even local doom Theme parks show up film. which are all expected high profits. These profits will be returned back to the an-sung local autonomous entity, who can use them to develop new contents, one of foundations in local economy. As a result, it is helpful to make local traits and effective tourist attractions.

  • In this paper, it was implemented an algorithm of multimedia fingerprinting in DCT block. For the improvement of the limits of DRM’s ability, the proposed algorithm could be decided a responsibility boundary to judge a traitor who falsified the content according to perform separately a watermarking of content provider and a fingerprinting of content user. At the test image size($128{\times}128$) and block size($8{\times}8$) of the content provider, the measured PSNR is Inf~46.6dB with watermarking strength ${\Theta}=0.5{\sim}1.2$, and at a number of users and user's code length are n=7,15,31,63 and l=7,15,31,64 each, the measured PSNR is Inf~46.1 with fingerprinting code length l=7,15,31,63. Finally, a traitor tracing of the falsified content is approached to a trace ratio 1 which is extended to n-1.

  • Existing art, media art, accompanied by a new path of awareness and perception instrumentalized by the human body, creating a new way to watch the interaction is proposed. A Process of making contents is intent planning, content creation, content production point cloud in the form of image, 3D gestures for interaction design process, go through the process of holographic film projection. Visual and experiential content of memory recall process takes place in the consciousness of the people expressed. Complete the process of memory recall, uncertain memories, memories materialized, recalled. Uncertain remember the vague shapes of the point cloud in the form of an image represented by the image. As embodied memories through the act of interaction to manipulate images recall is complete.

Development of High Erosion Resistant Fe-based Alloy for Continuous Hot Dipping Line (연속용융 도금라인 용 고내침식 Fe계 합금 개발)

  • In this study, the material used in the hot dip galvanizing equipment was poorly corrosion-resistant, so it was performed to solve the cost and time problems caused by equipment replacement. The theoretical calculation was performed using the DV-Xα method(Discrete Variational Local-density approximation method). The alloy (STS4XX series) of the equipment currently used has a martensite phase. Therefore, the theoretical calculation was performed by applying P4 / mmm, which is a tetragonal structure. The new alloy was chosen by designing theoretical values close to existing materials. Considering elements that contribute to corrosion, most have high prices. Therefore, the design was completed by adjusting the content using only the components of the reference material in the theoretical design. The final design alloys were chosen as D6 and D9. Designed D6 and D9 were dissolved and prepared using an induction furnace. After the heat treatment process was completed, the corrosion rate of the alloys was confirmed by using the potentiodynamic polarization test. The surface of the prepared alloys were processed horizontally and then polished to # 1200 using sand paper to perform potentiodynamic polarization test. Domestic products: 4.735 mpy (mils / year), D6: 0.9166 mpy, D9: 0.3372 mpy, alloys designed than domestic products had a lower corrosion rate. Therefore, the designed alloy was expected to have better erosion resistance.

Application of electrical resistivity for assessing characterizations of frozen and unfrozen soils

  • Permafrost refers to the condition where the ground is frozen. It is crucial to review and evaluate the ground's characteristics before construction. In this study, electrical resistivity surveying is chosen as the investigative technique to apply and illustrate the results on the state of permafrost ground and to summarize its applicability. Field experiments are conducted in the Yeoncheon area of South Korea, which has a freezing index of 522.6°C·days. The target area is categorized into two ground conditions: the first where the original ground freezes, and the second involves excavating the original ground up to a depth of 3 meters, backfilling it, and then artificially injecting fluid. Thus, frozen ground conditions are simulated under both natural and artificial circumstances. Electrical resistivity surveys are performed under both above-freezing and sub-zero temperature conditions, with the experiments conducted at sub-zero temperatures revealing relatively more high-resistivity zones due to the temperature conditions. In this area, the distribution of soil moisture content is also investigated using the Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) technique. It is observed that the ground into which water is artificially injected had a relatively higher moisture content, although the difference is minor. Finally, a 3D map of the target ground is constructed based on the measured electrical resistivity values, and through this, the distribution of porosity, a crucial design parameter, is also depicted. This research demonstrates that the electrical resistivity technique can effectively evaluate the state of frozen and unfrozen ground and further suggests that it can detailed extract the characteristics of the target ground.
