Analysis of the Meaning of the 2022 Revised Curriculum (2022 개정 교육과정 의미 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest improvement directions by analyzing the meaning of the 2022 revised curriculum. Research methods include literature research, surveys, and interviews. The conclusion is as follows. First, The background of the promotion has been revised to cultivate the competencies necessary for the future society and to strengthen the learner-tailored education. Second, what characterizes the 2022 revised curriculum is that it is being created in collaboration with people as a future-oriented curriculum for the first time in history. Third, the implementation of the 2022 revised curriculum is being directed towards individuality and diversity, decentralization and autonomy, digitally based education, and public performance and accountability. Fourth, the principal contents are curriculum innovation in response to future changes, cultivating community values and capacity building for learners, strengthening education for elementary, middle, and high school students to develop digital and AI literacy, and strengthening the curriculum for all.

Occurrence status of three major insect pests in orchards in Chungbuk province from 2021 to 2022 (2021~2022년 충북지역 과수원의 주요 해충 3종 발생 현황)

  • The occurrence of eggs and adults of Pochazia shantungensis, Lycorma delicatula, and Lymantria dispar was investigated in 11 cities in the Chungcheongbukdo region. The results showed that the overwintering eggs of P. shantungensis occurred in 24.2% of the region in 2021 and 22.1% in 2022, while adults occurred in 25.2% in 2021 and 24.3% in 2022, indicating the highest occurrence among the pests studied. The occurrence of overwintering eggs of L. delicatula was relatively low, with 2.6% of the region affected in 2021 and 1.9% in 2022. Adult L. delicatula occurred in 3.2% of the region in 2021 and 3.6% in 2022. Overwintering eggs of L. dispar occurred in 4.1% of the area in 2021 and 1.7% in 2022, showing a decreasing tendency compared to the previous year, and their occurrence was only low to middle in terms of the degree of occurrence. Adult L. dispar occurred in 4.6% of the region in 2021 and 2.7% in 2022, showing occurrences that were insignificant compared to L. delicatula. According to a survey of host preferences, both the wintering eggs and adults of P. shantungensis were found in apples and peaches between 2021 and 2022. In both 2021-2022, adult L. delicatula had a high incidence in peaches, apples, and grapes, and winter eggs were the highest in grapes. However, the incidence in apples and peaches was low. A high incidence density of L. dispar moth adults and overwintering eggs was found in apples in both 2021 and 2022.

A Critical Analysis of the Draft Proposal of 2022 Revised Practical Arts (Technology·Home Economics) Curriculum (2022 개정 실과(기술·가정) 교육과정 시안에 대한 비판적 검토)

  • The government has proposed various policies to 'extend the time for teaching information education in elementary schools'. However, in the 2022 revised practical arts (technical·home economics) curriculum, information education is still organized for only 17 hours the same as before, and there is not enough connection with the middle school information subject. In this study, policies related to information education in elementary schools such as National Strategy of Artificial Intelligence, Comprehensive Plan of Information Education, Education Policy Direction and Core Tasks in the Artificial Intelligence Era, and Digital Talent Education Plan were analyzed. In addition, after the '2022 revised national curriculum guidelines' was announced in 2021, the problems of the practical arts curriculum were analyzed by analyzing materials of the draft proposal of the curriculum and comments posted on the Public Participation Communication Channel. Finally, I suggested a plan to link the 2022 revised practical arts (technology·home economic) curriculum to the information subject of middle school in detail, and to expand information education in elementary schools.

Exploring the Direction of Middle School Statistics Education through a Comparison of Statistical Content between China & Korea: Focused on the Revised 2022 Mathematics Curriculum (중국의 중학교 통계 교육과정 분석을 통한 통계교육 방안 탐색: 2022 개정 수학과 교육과정을 중심으로)

  • This study is necessary for the stable settlement of the 2022 revised mathematics curriculum 'data and possibility' area. This study was conducted centering on literature analysis. The purpose of this study is to realize statistics education in line with the 2022 revised mathematics curriculum. This purpose was achieved by examining the statistics learning contents of the 2022 revised curriculum, analyzing Chinese mathematics curriculum, and analyzing Chinese mathematics textbooks. In this study, the following studies were conducted. First, five elements were extracted through the analysis of the 'statistics and probability' area of the Chinese mathematics curriculum. The extracted elements are the 4th grade goals, synthesis and practice content areas, achievement standards for statistics and probability (6), (9), and (11). Second, examples presented in Chinese mathematics textbooks and Chinese curriculum appendices related to the extracted elements were analyzed. Regarding the 4th grade goal, the statistical problem-solving process of the 7th grade 2nd semester mathematics textbook was analyzed. Regarding the synthesis and practice content area, the data analysis unit of the 8th grade 2nd semester mathematics textbook was analyzed. In relation to the achievement standard (6), Example 85 of the curriculum appendix was analyzed, in relation to the achievement standard (9), Example 86 was analyzed, and in relation to the achievement standard (11), Example 87 was analyzed. Third, based on the analysis results, implications for the development of new curriculum and 'textbook development, teaching and learning methods' according to the 2022 revised middle school mathematics curriculum were derived. Through the results of this study, we expect the successful realization of the 2022 revised middle school mathematics and curriculum statistics education.
