래디알 동전기 휠의 다축력 특성 (Multi-axial Force Characteristics of Radial Electrodynamic Wheel)

  • The rotating electrodynamic wheel over a conductive plate produces thrust force as well as normal force. Specially, separating the conductive plate and spacing apart each part, the lateral stability of the rotating wheel is guaranteed due to the restoring force into neutral position. In this paper, the force characteristics of the electrodynamic wheel rotating over the conductive plate is analyzed using the finite element tool. First, the dominant parameters are identified considering the geometric configuration and the operating condition. And the sensitivity for the parameter deviation is quantified for the high force density. The above topology can be applied as an actuating principle for inter-city train as well as contact-free transfer device.

  • Auto Guided Vehicle (AGV) equipped with mecanum wheels can move in all directions, unlike ordinary wheeled AGVs. In this paper, we propose a robust trejectory tracking control method for the mecanum wheeled AGVs in the presence of disturbances. It is constructed by combining impedance control with Integral Sliding Mode Control (ISMC), which shows robust performance against disturbances, and adding a disturbance observer (DOB) that estimates and removes disturbances. Simulation result using MATLAB/SIMULINK shows that the proposed control method has robust performance in tracking the reference trajectory under the circumstance with disturbance. The control performance is further improved when the disturbance observer is additionally used. In addition, the performance of the proposed control method was verified through experiment. It shows the result of tracking the set trajectory well.

  • 정지궤도복합위성은 추력기 분사를 이용하여 자세제어, 궤도 유지, 휠 오프로딩 등을 수행한다. 장착된 추력기 중 1, 2, 3번 추력기는 태양전지판과 같은 축에 장착된다. 이로 인하여 추력기 1, 2, 3번은 플룸 외란의 영향이 크게 발생한다. 그러므로 위성 설계 단계에서 부터 플룸 외란의 영향을 분석해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 정지궤도복합위성의 초기 형상을 이용하여 추력기에서 발생하는 플룸 외란을 계산하는 과정을 기술하고 추력기 조정각에 따른 플룸 외란의 영향을 분석하였다.

  • A new type of flywheel energy storage system that has a horizontal axle with High $T_c$, superconductor bearings using Y123 single-domained crystals was developed.The dynamic Properties, stiffness and damping of the high $T_c$, superconductor radial bearings were experimentally estimated using a imbalance excitation method. The imbalance excitation method applied to this rotor- bearing system identified the identified stiffness and damping of the high temperature superconductor beatings to be 2.8 $3.3 {\times} 10^5 N/m and 775 204$ Nsec/m respectively.

  • Hot-forging Process and die design was made for a large-scale compressor wheel of Ti-6Al-4V alloy with 2-D FE analysis. The design integrated the geometry-controlled approach and dynamic materials modelling(DMM). In order to obtain the processing contour map of Ti-6Al-4V alloy based on DMM, compression tests were carried out in the temperature range of 915$^{\circ}C$ to 1015$^{\circ}C$ and the strain range of 10$\^$-3/s$\^$-1/ to 10s$\^$-1/. In the die design of the compressor wheel using the rigid-plastic FE analysis, forging dimensional accuracy, the capacity of the forging machine and defect-free forging were considered as main design factors. The microstructure of hot forged wheel using the designed die showed a typical alpha-beta structure without forging-defects.

  • The establishment of a practical ultra-precision grinding technique using Diamond and CBN wheels is one of the major key technolo-gies to improve production techniques for machine-to-difficult materials without finishing process such as lapping and polishing. But the special efficient dressing technique for ultra-fine grit type grinding wheels to stabilize the grinding ability was not developed. Recently electrolytic in-process dressing technique is proposed to ultra-fine grit type metal bonded diamond wheels to protrude abra-sives continuously from the tool surface. This technology can be widely used to surface grinding and cylindrical grinding but cannot be used efficiently to internal grinding because of the electrode attachment trouble. This paper describes the effect of interval type electrolytic dressing as proposed newly to cast iron bonded diamond wheel for efficient internal grinding with mirror type high quality ground surface.

  • For the fine grinding process development of semiconductor monocrystalline silicon, wheel rotational speed, chuck rotational speed, feed rate and hysteresis force were controlled. Magic mirror system was used for grinding wheel pattern analysis. Curvature of wheel pattern was measured by fitting equation. The modeling of surface wheel pattern was related to wheel and chuck rotational speed. The calculated curvature of the model was well matched with the measured curvature. The statistical analysis indicated wheel and chuck rotational speed were significantly effective on.

  • 본 논문에서는 전력 시스템의 저주파 진동을 효율적으로 억제하기 위하여 기존의 PSS 를 이용하는 방법 대신 FESS를 적용하는 방법을 제시하였다. FESS PID 제어기의 최적 파라미터를 선정하기 위하여 GA를 이용한 방법을 제시하였다. 최적화 파라미터 선정시 사용되는 평가함수를 2가지로 선정하여 선정된 파라미터를 이용하여 FESS PID 제어성능을 평가하였다. 다양한 동작 조건하에 몇 가지 외란이 발생한 경우 비선형 시뮬레이션을 통하여 기존의 PSS를 이용한 방법과 동특성을 비교 고찰하였다.

  • This paper presents a new approach to the design of speed and azimuth control of a mobile robot with two drive wheels. The proposed control scheme uses a Gaussian function as a unit function in the neural-fuzzy network and back propagation algorithm to train the neural-fuzzy network controller in the framework of the specialized learning architecture. It is proposed to a learned controller with two neural-fuzzy networks based on an independent reasoning and a connection net with fixed weights to simplify the neural-fuzzy network. The performance of the proposed controller can be seen by the computer simulation for trajectory tracking of the speed and azimuth of a mobile robot driven by two independent wheels.

  • This paper reports some experimental result in grinding and polishing of silicon cathodes used in semiconductor manufacturing process. Cup shape diamond core wheels were used in experiments and the radial and tangential grinding forces were measured with surface roughness. In polishing experiments, flat type and donut type wool polishing tools were tested. The experimental results indicate that the grinding forces are proportional to the material removal rates and the surface roughness are inversely proportional to the spindle speed. The surface roughness of polished Si decreases with polishing time and higher spindle speed.
