Al-doped and F-doped ZnO (ZnO : Al & ZnO : F) thin films were coated onto glass substrate by sol-gel method. These films showed c-axis orientation in common, but different I(002)/[I(002) + I(101)] and FWHM (full width at half-maximum). In particular, the grain size of the ZnO : Al films decreased with the increase in the Al-doping concentration, while for the ZnO : F films the grain siae increased up to F 3 at% and then decreased. For the electrical properties, Hall effect measurement was used. The resistivity of the ZnO : Al films and the ZnO : F films were, respectively, $2.9{\times}10^{-2}{\Omega}cm$ at Al 1 at% and $3.3{\times}10^{-1}{\Omega}cm$ at F 3 at%. Moreover compared with ZnO:Al films, ZnO:F films have lower carrier concentration (ZnO : Al $4.8{\times}10^{18}cm^{-3}$, ZnO : F $3.9{\times}10^{16}cm^{-3}$) and higher mobility (ZnO : Al $45cm^2/Vs$, ZnO : F $495cm^2/Vs$). For average optical transmittances, ZnO : Al thin films have $86{\sim}90%$ and ZnO : F films have $77{\sim}85%$ comparatively low.

The phase differences of the omega were observed continuously for the A-C pair and the A-E pair from Sept. 1, 1980 to Feb. 28, 1981 and from Sept. 20, 1981 to Feb. 82, 1982 at Fisheries University of Busan350$^{\circ}$ 07'.9N, 129$^{\circ}$ 06'.3E)In this paper we deal with the reappearance of these phase differences by annual, month, day As a results, annual eappearance are in good condition both pairs and daily reappearance in day and night are better than an hour around the sunset, and very bad reappearance is found by month.
The influence of $O_2$ partial pressure on saturation mgnetization, coercivity, anisotropy field and effective permeability (over 1GHz) of as-deposited Co-Fe-Al-O thin films, which were fabricated by RF magnetron reactive sputtering method, were investigated. The $Co_{69.9}Fe_{20.5}A_{14.4O_{5.2}$ thin film fabricated at $O_2$ partial pressure of 4% exhibits the best magnetic softness with saturation magnetization 4${$pi}$Ms of 18.1 kG, coercivity of 0.82 Oe, anisotropy field ($H_k$) of Oe, and effective permeability (${\mu}_{eff}$) about 1,024 above 1 GHz. the electrical resistivity of Co-Fe-Al-O thin films were increased with increasing $O_2$ partial pressure, the electrical resistivity of $Co_{69.9}Fe_{20.5}A_{14.4O_{5.2}$ thin film with the best soft magnetic properties was 560.7 ${\mu}{\Omega}$am. Therefore, It is assumed that the good soft magnetic properties of $Co_{69.9}Fe_{20.5}A_{14.4O_{5.2}$ thin film results from high electrical resistivity and large anisotropy field.
The objective of this study was to examine the effect of supplementation of high linoleic ($C_{18:2}$) oil or high linolenic ($C_{18:3}$) oil to the diet on milking performance and content of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) isomers in goat milk fat. Forty five dairy goats (Sumnen, 25 d post-partum, $62.5{\pm}1.2kg$) were randomly assigned to three treatment groups with each group of 15 dairy goats. The goats were fed a basal diet (CON) consisting 1.2 kg concentrate and 1.2 kg chopped hay (0.6 chopped alfalfa and 0.6 kg hay) daily with 4% soybean oil (SO) or 4% linseed oil (LO). Daily feed intake was not influenced (p>0.05) but daily milk yield (p<0.001) and milk fat yield (p<0.001) were significantly increased by supplementation of oils. Supplementation of oils decreased the short chain fatty acid, medium-chain fatty acid and saturated fatty acid in goat milk fat while increased trans vaccenic acid (trans-11-$C_{18:1}$, TVA), oleic acid ($C_{18:1}$), $C_{18:2}$, $C_{18:3}$, cis-9, trans-11-CLA (c9, t11-CLA), trans-10, cis- 12-conjugated linoleic acid (t10, c12-CLA), unsaturated fatty acids, mono unsaturated fatty acid and long-chain fatty acid in goat milk fat (p<0.001). Especially, c9, t11-CLA, t10, c12-CLA and ${\omega}-3$ fatty acid ($C_{18:3\;n-3}$) in milk fat were highest when goat fed LO diet. Based on the result, it is suggested that supplementation of linseed oil should be an effective method to increase CLA isomers and ${\omega}-3$ fatty acid in goat milk fat without negative effect on lactating performance.

A mixture of methyl ester derivatives of fatty acids from the oils of pine nuts was well resolved to five fractions differing by degree of unsaturation by silver ion solid-phase extraction column chromatography ($Ag^{+}$-SEC). Polyunsaturated fatty acid with non-methylene interrupted conjugated double bond (NMiDB) radical held more strongly to silver ions in the column than methylene interrupted conjugated double bond (MiDB) one when they had the same number of double bonds. Although both the picolinyl ester and DMOX derivative provided clear mass ion species powerful enough to elucidate the structure of the polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) with NMiDB and/or methylene interrupted conjugated double bond (MiDB) radical in the oils, the picolinyl ester of PUFA with NMiDB radical did not provide a cluster of mass ions neighboring diagnostic mass ions induced by the double bond in the proximal to the carboxyl group. However, the DMOX derivative of PUFA with NMiDB group as well as MiDB showed abundant mass ion species differing by gaps of 12 amu, which made it possible with greater ease to locate the double bonds in the molecule. The oil contained $C_{18:2{\omega}6}$ (46.2 %) and $C_{18:1{\omega}9}$ (25.4 %) as main components, and considerable amounts of PUFAs with NMiDB radical such as ${\Delta}^{5.\;9.\;12}-C_{18:3}$ (16.0 %), ${\Delta}^{5.\;9}-C_{18:2}$ (2.3 %) and ${\Delta}^{5.\;11.\;14}-C_{20:3}$ (0.8 %).
A strictly aerobic, non-motile, ovoid-shaped Alphaproteobacteria, designated strain $JC2049^T$ was isolated from a tidal flat sediment sample. The results of 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis indicated that this isolate belonged to the genus Thalassobius, with a sequence similarity of 96.9-97.3% to other valid Thalassobius spp. The cells required 1-7% NaCl for growth (optimum 2%) and accumulated $poly-\beta-hydroxybutyrate$. Nitrite was reduced to nitrogen, but nitrate was not reduced to nitrite. No genetic potential for aerobic anoxygenic photosynthesis was detected. The primary isoprenoid quinone (Ubiquinone-10), predominant cellular fatty acids $(C_{18:1}{\omega}7c,\;11\;methyl\;C_{18:1}\omega7c\;and\;C_{16:0})$ and DNA G+C content (61 mol %) were all consistent with the assignment of this isolate to the genus Thalassobius. Several phenotypic characteristics clearly distinguished our isolate from other Thalassobius species. The degree of genomic relatedness between strain $JC2049^T$ and other Thalassobius species was in a range of 20-43 %. The polyphasic data presented in this study indicates that our isolate should be classified as a novel species within the genus Thalassobius. The name Thalassobius aestuarii sp. novo is therefore proposed for this isolate; the type strain is $JC2049^T(=IMSNU\;14011^T=KCTC\;12049^T=DSM\;15283^T)$.

In this paper, a couple of 10Gb/s transimpedance amplifiers are realized in a 0.18um standard CMOS technology for optical communication applications. First, the voltage-mode inverter TIA(I-TIA) exploits inverter input configuration to achieve larger effective gm, thus reducing the input impedance and increasing the bandwidth. I-TIA demonstrates $56dB{\Omega}$ transimpedance gain, 14GHz bandwidth for 0.25pF photodiode capacitance, and -16.5dBm optical sensitivity for 0.5A/W responsivity, 9dB extinction ration and $10^{-12}$ BER. However, both its inherent parasitic capacitance and the package parasitics deteriorate the bandwidth significantly, thus mandating very judicious circuit design. Meanwhile, the current-mode RGC TIA incorporates the regulated cascade input configuration, and thus isolates the large input parasitic capacitance from the bandwidth determination more effectively than the voltage-mode TIA. Also, the parasitic components give much less impact on its bandwidth. RGC TIA provides $60dB{\Omega}$ transimpedance gain, 10GHz bandwidth for 0.25pF photodiode capacitance, and -15.7dBm optical sensitivity for 0.5A/W responsivity, 9dB extinction ration and $10^{-12}$ BER. Main drawback is the power dissipation which is 4.5 times larger than the I-TIA.

We present a micromechanical digital-to-analog (DA) variable capacitor using a parallel digital actuator array, capable of accomplishing high-Q tuning. The present DA variable capacitor uses a parallel interconnection of digital actuators, thus achieving a low resistive structure. Based on the criteria for capacitance range ($0.348{\sim}1.932$ pF) and the actuation voltage (25 V), the present parallel DA variable capacitor is estimated to have a quality factor 2.0 times higher than the previous serial-parallel DA variable capacitor. In the experimental study, the parallel DA variable capacitor changes the total capacitance from 2.268 to 3.973 pF (0.5 GHz), 2.384 to 4.197 pF (1.0 GHz), and 2.773 to 4.826 pF (2.5 GHz), thus achieving tuning ratios of 75.2%, 76.1%, and 74.0%, respectively. The capacitance precisions are measured to be $6.16{\pm}4.24$ fF (0.5 GHz), $7.42{\pm}5.48$ fF (1.0 GHz), and $9.56{\pm}5.63$ fF (2.5 GHz). The parallel DA variable capacitor shows the total resistance of $2.97{\pm}0.29\;{\Omega}$ (0.5 GHz), $3.01{\pm}0.42\;{\Omega}$ (1.0 GHz), and $4.32{\pm}0.66\;{\Omega}$ (2.5 GHz), resulting in high quality factors which are measured to be $33.7{\pm}7.8$ (0.5 GHz), $18.5{\pm}4.9$ (1.0 GHz), and $4.3{\pm}1.4$ (2.5 GHz) for large capacitance values ($2.268{\sim}4.826$ pF). We experimentally verify the high-Q tuning capability of the present parallel DA variable capacitor, while achieving high-precision capacitance adjustments.
Agar-hydrolyzing bacteria were isolated from the coastal sea water of Jeju Island. One isolate, designated as S4, was selected for further study. The S4 cells were Gram-negative and rod-shaped with smooth beige surfaces and single polar flagellum. Cells were grown at $15-42^{\circ}C$, 0.5-5% (w/v) NaCl, between pH 6.0 and 9.0, and in media containing 0.5-5% (w/v) NaCl. The G+C content was 49.93 mol%. The major fatty acids (>15%) were $C_{18:1}{\omega}7c$, $C_{16:0}$ and Summed feature 3 (comprising $C_{16:1}{\omega}7c/iso-C_{15:0}$ 2-OH). Based on 16S rRNA sequencing and biochemical and chemotaxonomic characteristics, the strain was designated as Vibrio sp. S4. In liquid culture supplemented with 0.1% agar the cell density and agarase activity reached a maximum level in 72 h, while agarase activity in the culture without agar was negligible, implying agarose expression is induced by agar. The optimum pH and temperature for the extracellular crude agarase of S4 were 7.0 and $45^{\circ}C$, respectively. However, it also exhibited 98.6% and 87.6% at $40^{\circ}C$ and $50^{\circ}C$, respectively, of the maximum activity seen at $45^{\circ}C$. The crude agarase hydrolyzed agarose into (neo)agarotetraose and (neo)agarohexaose.
The purposes of this study were to 1) examine the dietary patterns of fatty acids and the fatty acid composition in serum, 2) determine selenium (Se) concentrations, and 3) investigate how serum fatty acid compositon affects serum levels of Se in Korean elementary school children. The subjects consisted of 168 school children(82 boys & 86 girls) belonging to 1st through 6th grades, and their dietary assessment was evaluated. The serum fatty acid composition was analyzed by GLC, and the ICP/MS method was employed to measure serum Se concentration. Total average intake of PUFA, MUFA and SFA were 10.5g, 12.7g, 11.2g respectively. Total average dietary P/M/S ratio was 1.10/1.18/1.0. The average intake of $\omega$3 fatty acids and $\omega$6 fatty acids were 1.33g, 9.19g, respectively. The $\omega$6/$\omega$3ratio was 14.2 which is higher than the recommended range. In serum fatty acid composition, PUFA, MUFA, SFA were 40.6%, 28.1% and 31.6% respectively. The average $\omega$3 fatty acid composition was 3.80%, and the mean value of $\omega$6 series was 36.8%. The M/S ratio of girls was significantly higher than boy's in fatty acids intake and in serum composition. Mean Se concentration of total subjects was 416.7ug/l and it was significantly higher in the lower grades(1st-3rd)than in the upper grades(4th~6th, p<0.05). Although the mean serum Se concentration was negatively correlated with PUFA composition in total boys and girls, it was not significant. Serum Se concentration was negatively correlated with P/S ratio and C24:1 concentration(p<0.05). In addition, serum composition of $\omega$6 PUFA and C24:1 showed negative correlations with serum Se in only lower grades girl(1st~3rd), and further studies are needed to clarify in these phenomena. In conclusion, the mean serum Se concentration was significantly lower in upper grades (4th~6th)than in lower grades(1st~3rd) of elementary school children and was negatively correlated with P/S ratio of serum fatty acids. More detailed studies on relationship between Se and fatty acids are required.
