Development and evaluation of Pre-Parenthood Education Program for high school students based on Home Economics subject (고등학생을 위한 가정교과 기반 예비부모교육 프로그램 개발 및 평가)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop and evaluate pre-parenthood education program(PPEP) based on Home Economics(HE) subject for high school students. The development and evaluation of PPEP based on HE subject in this study followed ADDIE model except implementation through 4 processes such as analysis, design, development, and evaluation. First, program development directions were set in three aspects such as 'general development', 'contents', and 'teaching and learning methods'. Themes of the program are 11 in total such as '1. Parenting, what is being a parent', '2. Choosing your spouse, happy marital relationship, the best gift to your children', '3. Pregnancy and birth, a moving meeting with a new life', '4. Taking care of a new born infant for 24 hours', '5. Taking care of infants, relationship with my lovely baby, attachment', '6. Taking care of young children, my child from another planet', '7. Parents and children in healthy family', '8. Parent-child relationship, wise parents to make effective interaction with their children', '9. Parents safety manager at home,', '10. Practice to take care of infants', and '11. Practice of community nurturing support service development'. In particular, learning activities of the program have major characteristics such as 1) utilization of cases including practice problems related to parenting, 2) community exchange activities utilizing learned knowledge and techniques, 3) actual life project activities utilizing learning contents related with parenting, 4) activities inducing positive changes in current life of high school students, and 5) practice activities for the necessities of life such as food, clothing and shelter supporting development of children. Second, the program was developed according to the design. Teaching-learning plans and materials for 17 classes were developed according to 11 themes. The developed plans include class flow and teacher's reference. It starts with receiving a class-related message from a virtual child at the introduction stage and ended with replying to the message by summarizing contents of the class and making a promise as a parent-to-be. That is the basic frame of class flow. Learning materials included various plans and reports necessary for learning activities and they are prepared in details so that they can be play the role of textbooks in regular curriculum. Third, evaluation of developed program was executed by a 5 point Likert scale survey on 13 HE experts on two aspects of program development process and program development results. In the evaluation of development process, mean value was 4.61 and index of content validity was 97.4%. For development results, mean value was 4.37 and index of content validity was 86.9%. These values showed that validity in the development process and results in this study was highly secured and confirmed that PPEP based on HE was appropriate and valid to enhance parent qualifications of high school learners.

The Effect of Deodeok Contents on the Quality of Deodeok Wine (더덕 함량이 더덕 침출주의 품질에 미치는 영향)

  • The physicochemical characteristics and sensory properties of Deodeok wine, formed by leaching of Deodeok at room temperature for 180 days, were investigated over the following range of Deodeok levels: 10, 15 and 20% (all w/v). The higher the level of Deodeok, the greater were the final values of total sugars, reducing sugars, total polyphenols, and crude saponins. The Hunter's b-value (yellowness) of Deodeok wine varied markedly with Deodeok levels, and yellowness was highest in Deodeok wine containing 20% (w/v) Deodeok. Non-volatile compounds, that form the basis of the liquor tax law, were 0.64, 1.38 and 2.11% (all w/v), respectively, at day 160. Of these values, that of 2.11% (w/v), the level of non-volatile compounds in Deodeok wine containing 20% (w/v) Deodeok, was in accord with the liquor tax law (that requires this figure to be 2.0%). Sensory evaluation showed that Deodeok wine containing 20% (w/v) Deodeok was superior to the other wines tested.

Flow Resistance of Plane Nettings for Net Cages (우리 그물용 평면 그물감의 유수저항)

  • In order to make clear the resistance of plane nettings u,sed widely in constructing net cages, the resistance R taken by $R=kSU^2$, where S was the wall area of nettings, U the flow velocity, and k the resistance coefficient, was measured in a circulating water channel by using nylon Raschel nettings and PE trawler-knotted nettings coated with anti-fouling paint or not and then the properties of coefficient k were investigated. The mesh size L and the angle $\phi$ between two adjacent bars was given by the function of Reynolds number ${\lambda}U/v$ in the region of ${\lambda}U/v<180$, i. e., $$k=350(\frac{\lambda U}{v})^{-0.25}$$.where $\lambda$ was the representative size of nettings expressed as $$\lambda=\frac{{\pi}d^2}{2L\;sin\;2{\phi}}$$On the other hand, the coefficient k was almost fixed between 92 and 102 ($kg{\cdot}s^2/m^4$) in the region of ${\lambda}U/v{\geq}180$ and varied according to the ratio $S_n/S$ of the total area $S_n$ of nettings projected to the plane perpendicular to the water flow to the wall area S of nettings, i.e., it was given by $$k=98.6(\frac{S_n}{S})^{1.19}$$ regardless of the coating of paint.

Effects of Mixed Application of Chemical Fertilizer and Liquid Swine Manure on Agronomic Characteristics, Yield and Feed Value of Rye (Secale cereale L.) (화학비료와 발효 돈분 액비 혼용 시용이 호밀(Secale cereale L.)의 생육특성 및 영양성분에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the growth characteristics, yield and chemical compositions of rye according to mixing ratio of chemical fertilize r(CF) and liquid swine manure (LSM) in paddy field cultivation. The experimental design was arranged in a randomized block design with three replications. The manure fertilizer ratio of five treatments were CF 100% + LSM 0% (C), CF 70% + LSM 30% (T1), CF 50% + LSM 50% (T2), CF 30% + LSM 70% (T3), and CF 0% + LSM 100% (T4) of rye. At this time, the application of liquid swine manure was based solely on nitrogen. Plant length did not show significant differences among treatments. Ear length, leaf length and leaf width were the longest in C, T3, and T2, respectively (p<0.05). The stem diameter showed in the order of T4 > T3 > T2 > T1 > C, which was thicker as the LSM application rate increased (p<0.05). Fresh, dry matter and total digestible nutrient (TDN) yield were the highest in T4 (p<0.05), whereas the lowest in C treatment. Crude protein, neutral detergent fiber (NDF), acid detergent fiber (ADF) and crude fiber content were did not show significant difference among treatments. However, compared to C, crude fat and crude ash were significantly higher in T2 and T3, respectively (p<0.05). Total mineral content decreased significantly as the LSM application rate increased (p<0.05). Total free sugar showed high in T3 and T4 with a high LSM ratio, but showed significantly lower in chemical fertilizer treatment (C) and low LSM treatment (T1) (p<0.05). The analysis of all the above results suggests that the application of LSM is very effective, considering the dry matter yield and the contents of free sugar. In addition, LSM may be possible to grow rye without chemical fertilizer.

  • These Xenon flashlamp power supply for Ultra Violet has converter with high voltage conversion ratio. General model is composed of transformer with high voltage conversion ratio and voltage doubler rectifier circuit. Purpose of power supply leads dielectric breakdown of Xenon flashlamp and passes current rapidly. When passing current, it has to limit current to avoid over-heat, damage of electrode and acceleration of gas oxidation which are cause of performance degradation of lamps. Generally, inductors and resistors, which are called as "Ballast," are used to limit currents. Generally, Transformer has high turn ratio to make high voltages. But we can get high voltages using the transformer with low turn ratio which is driven with self resonance. Also, an advantage of self resonance is to make a circuit simply through impedance of transformer in resonance frequency which filters output voltage. As using an unique impedance of transformer, the circuit does not need other impedance elements like the ballast. So the power supply assures high efficiency of the arc discharge.

Field Survey and Analysis of Natural Ventilation Characteristics of Multi-span Greenhouse with Different Roof Vent (연동형 비닐하우스의 환기창 형태 조사 및 자연환기 효과 분석)

  • The objectives of this study were to investigate the standard and roof vent type of multi-span greenhouse and to analyze the characteristics of natural ventilation of multi-span greenhouse with different roof vent using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) code. The vent area proportion of surveyed farms averaged 10%, it was analyzed that the vent design for natural ventilation is insufficient. The results of natural ventilation efficiency of multi-span greenhouse according to roof vent type showed that the temperature of the position in which the crops grew was the lowest in the conical roof vent type and the highest in the half conical roof vent type. For the natural ventilation effect, the conical roof vent type was the best one, but the structural stability should be evaluated in light of wind load.

Extraction of Parameters for Acupoint Discrimination and Design of discrimination system (경혈식별을 위한 파라메터 추출 및 식별시스템의 설계)

  • The conventional pattern-methods for discrimination of acupoint, meridian line which is the basic object of diagnosis and medical treatment in oriental medicine is discriminated the conduction point by the stimulation in body skin with DC. But, it is not sufficient to truth in discrimination ratio, coincident ratio, body effect, reproductivity. Therefore, this paper is extracting the optimal parameter of frequency and waveform in order to improve the conventional pattern, and proposing the SPAC(Single Power Alternative Current) stimulus pattern applying that. Also, this algorithm proposes to be able to discriminate with low pressure of the electrode by displaying in the level meter both the absolution and relation value of the skin current. It is able to decrease pain and body effect by electrode pressure and discriminate acupoint regardless of skin current in difficult discrimination spot. It is compared the performance of system applying the extracted optimal parameter and algorithm, and it is confirmed that there is difference in discrimination parameter of acupoint reacted to the individual and the meridian. It is compared that discrimination, coincident ratio of the traditional acupoints as the acupoint stimulation pattern. It is confirmed truth of optimal parameter and discrimination algorithm. The Effects of Mathematical Problem Posing Activities on 10th Grade Students' Mathematics Achievement and Affective Characteristic of Mathematics (수학적 문제제기 활동을 반영한 수업이 고등학교 1학년 학생들의 수학 학업 성취도 및 수학 교과에 대한 정의적 특성에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of mathematics classes focused on mathematical problem posing activities on 10th grade students' mathematics achievement and affective characteristics of mathematics. This study was conducted in a total of 45 regular mathematics classrooms with 81 students from two classes through a nonequivalent control group design. The results of the study showed that the teaching method based on mathematical problem posing activities had a more positive effect on students' mathematics achievement and the affective characteristics of mathematics than the teaching method that focuses on problem solving. The teaching method based on problem posing activities proposed in this study could induce students' self-reflective learning motivation, which in turn gave them a more solid understanding of the mathematical concepts they had learned. In addition, it was found that students' problem solving ability, mathematical communication ability, and mathematical thinking ability were positively influenced by problem posing activities. Regarding the affective characteristics of mathematics, the mathematical problem-posing activity suggested in this study turned out to be a very effective strategy for improving students' interest in mathematics.

Theoretical Proposal for the Mix Design of Recycled Cement Utilizing Inorganic Construction Wastes (무기계 건설폐기물을 이용한 재생시멘트 배합설계에 관한 이론적 제안)

  • Until now, the construction material industry has been recognized as a typical environmental destruction industry. However, recently, in order to reduce $CO_2$ emission, the main cause of environmental problems, lots of studies have been done about recycling industrial by-products and construction wastes. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to confirm whether it is possible to use as an alternative material in cement production process as a part of the development of recycled cement using an inorganic construction waste. For this study, the inorganic construction wastes was collected and analyzed each chemical component by XRF(X-ray Fluorescene). Also, the inorganic construction wastes were combined based on the chemical component of the cement, to perform this analysis. As a result, when the inorganic construction wastes was properly combined, it is possible to consider the development of the recycled cement used the inorganic construction wastes.

Analysis of the Effects of In-service Education Program on Rural Amenity (농촌어메니티 교원 연수 프로그램 효과 분석)

  • 본 연구에서는 초 중등 교원들의 농업 농촌에 대한 가치 인식 및 학교 현장에서의 학생 지도력을 높이기 위해 교원들에게 농촌어메니티에 대한 이론과 체험 학습을 제공하는 '농촌어메니티 체험 연수 프로그램'의 개발 적용하고, 프로그램의 효과를 분석하였다. '농촌어메니티 개념 및 정책 이해', '농촌어메니티 현장 이해 및 체험', '농촌어메니티 수업 적용'의 3개 영역으로 구성된 총 20시간의 교원연수 프로그램을 개발하였으며, '09. 7. 23. ~ 8. 13.까지 2박 3일씩 5차에 걸쳐 200명의 교사를 대상으로 연수 프로그램을 운영하고, 연수 전후 설문조사를 실시하여 그 결과를 분석하였다. 연수에 참여한 교원들의 인구통계학적 특성을 분석한 결과, 여성의 비율이 56.9%로 남성(43.1%)에 비해 높았으며, 일반교사의 비율(53.3%)이 부장교사(26.9%)나 교장 교감 (19.8%)의 비율에 비해 높았다. 연령 분포에서는 50대가 35.2%로 가장 많고, 40대가 32.7%를 차지하고 있었으며, 경력이 20년 이상인 교원들이 67.2%인 것으로 나타났다. 근무기관 분포에서는 초등학교 교원들이 54.8%로 가장 많았으며, 중학교, 고등학교 교원이 각각 20.3%, 18.8%인 것으로 나타났다. 근무지역 분포에서는 중소도시에서 근무하는 교원들이 70.6%로 대다수를 차지하고 있었으며, 농촌거주 경험이 있는 교원들이 64.8%인 것으로 분석되었다. 연수 참여 사전-사후 설문조사를 통한 인식 변화를 분석(Paired samples t-test)한 결과 참여 이후 '농업 농촌에 대한 관심 정도', '농업의 중요도에 대한 인식', '농촌의 생활 정주, 관광 휴양 여건에 대한 인식', '농촌어메니티에 대한 이해도'가 모두 개선된 것으로 나타났다. '농촌어메니티에 대한 중요도 인식'(5점 척도)에서는 환경자원, 자연자원, 역사자원, 경관자원, 시설자원, 경제활동자원, 공동체활동자원으로 분류된 37개의 세부자원들에 대한 중요도 인식이 연수 참여 이후 높아진 것으로 나타났다. 단, 환경자원 가운데 '수질'의 평균 점수는 사전 4.8671, 사후 4.8960로 유의미한 차이가 발견되지 않았다. 연수 전반에 대해 만족하는 교원의 비율이 98.5%로 나타났으며, 연수 이후 농업 농촌에 대한 이해도가 증가했다는 응답이 98.0%, 학생 지도력이 증가했다는 응답이 95.0%, 연수에서 학습한 내용을 학생지도시 활용하겠다는 응답이 97.5%로 집계되어, 개발된 연수 프로그램이 설계시 수립한 목적 달성에 기여하고 있는 것으로 분석되었다.
