  • We study multiplication operators on the weighted Banach spaces of an infinite tree. We characterize the bounded and the compact operators, as well as determine the operator norm. In addition, we determine the spectrum of the bounded multiplication operators and characterize the isometries. Finally, we study the multiplication operators between the weighted Banach spaces and the Lipschitz space by characterizing the bounded and the compact operators, determining estimates on the operator norm, and showing there are no isometries.

  • We consider the stochastic differential inclusion of the form $dX_t\;\in\;\sigma(t,\;X_t)db_t+b(t,\;X_t)dt$, where $\sigma$, b are set-valued maps, B is a standard Brownian motion. We prove the boundedness of solutions under the assumption that $\sigma$ and b satisfy the local Lipschitz property and linear growth.

  • We consider a class of discrete parameter processes on a locally compact Banach space S arising from successive compositions of strictly stationary random maps with state space C(S,S), where C(S,S) is the collection of continuous functions on S into itself. Sufficient conditions for stationary solutions are found. Existence of pth moments and convergence of empirical distributions for trajectories are proved.

  • We deduce the necessary conditions for the optimality of endpoint constrained optimal control problem. These conditions comprise the adjoint equation, the maximum principle and the transversality condition. We assume that the cost function is merely differentiable. Therefore the technique under Lipschitz continuity hypothesis is not directly applicable. We introduce Fermat's rule and value function technique to obtain the results.

  • In this paper, we introduce and study a system of mixed variational inequalities in Banach spaces. By using J-proximal mapping and its Lipschitz continuity for a nonconvex, lower semicontinuous, subdifferentiable, proper functional, an iterative algorithm for computing the approximate solutions of system of mixed variational inequalities is suggested and analyzed. The convergence criteria of the iterative sequences generated by iterative algorithm is also discussed.

  • We considered a new system of generalized nonlinear mixed variational inclusions in Hilbert spaces and define an iterative method for finding the approximate solutions of this class of system of generalized nonlinear mixed variational inclusions. We also established that the approximate solutions obtained by our algorithm converges to the exact solutions of a new system of generalized nonlinear mixed variational inclusions.

  • In this paper using Lipschitz continuity of the resolvent operator associated with general H-maximal m-relaxed $\eta$-monotone operators, existence and uniqueness of the solution of a variational inclusion system is proved. Also, an iterative algorithm and its convergence analysis is given.

  • Using the center instead of the Lipschitz condition we show how to provide weaker sufficient convergence conditions of the modified Newton Kantorovich method for the solution of nonlinear singular integral equations with Curleman shift (NLSIES). Finer error bounds on the distances involved and a more precise information on the location of the solution are also obtained and under the same computational cost than in [1].

  • We approximate a locally unique solution of a nonlinear operator equation containing a non-differentiable operator in a Banach space setting using Newton's method. Sufficient conditions for the semilocal convergence of Newton's method in this case have been given by several authors using mainly increasing sequences [1]-[6]. Here, we use center as well as Lipschitz conditions and decreasing majorizing sequences to obtain new sufficient convergence conditions weaker than before in many interesting cases. Numerical examples where our results apply to solve equations but earlier ones cannot [2], [5], [6] are also provided in this study.

  • In the present article, we study some approximation properties of the Kantorovich type generalization of $Sz{\acute{a}}sz$ type operators involving Charlier polynomials introduced by S. Varma and F. Taşdelen (Math. Comput. Modelling, 56 (5-6) (2012) 108-112). First, we establish approximation in a Lipschitz type space, weighted approximation theorems and A-statistical convergence properties for these operators. Then, we obtain the rate of approximation of functions having derivatives of bounded variation.
