A Development of Project Performance Predicting System(PPS) considering Construction Project Characteristics (건축 프로젝트의 특성을 고려한 성과 난이도 예측 시스템 개발)

  • Currently, The failure of construction project is increasing to be caused by a changing construction environment. According to this circumstances, Researches of project success factors affecting performance have been presented to develop strategies for efficient construction project management in the construction industry. However, Conducting efficient construction project management is difficult because project manager could not know which project success factors can be improved or not. Especially, although the project characteristics were derived the level of difficulty for performance, research of the project characteristics which could not be improved as influence factor to performance is lacking. Therefore, This paper has developed the Performance Predicting System(PPS) with Fuzzy set theory to establish. PPS has been developed to establish efficient project management strategies and to save time and effort. As Contractor inputs the project characteristics, PPS can predict the level of difficulty of performance.

  • As a city and industries are developed rapidly, a traffic accident and congestion take places on the road link become serious and it can be a large problem of the society in the future. Especially, most of the traffic accidents on the signalized intersection are caused by the human factor, vehicle and environmental factor mutually. The relation of the traffic accident and volume is acting on the outbreak of the traffic accident and the mistake of driver altogether as a major cause. The purpose of this paper is to develop a model for the forecasting of the traffic accident and to use research data gained to predict many traffic accidents. The data of this study were used with real one of the 73 areas of the four-legged signalized intersection in Kwang-ju city from 1996 to 1998 for three years to develop a model for the forecasting of the traffic accident. The statistical methods used in this paper are the principal component, regression and correlation analysis. We studied accident models to find out useful data from the statistics method and applied the data to the different area of the Choun-La province for the verification of the model. So, the result of this paper showed a reasonable model for the forecasting or the traffic accident and possibility of the model for simulating on real case. Finally, This study would be made of a study continually for the safe design and plan for the four-legged signalized intersection.

은밀 수중음향통신

  • 본고에서는 은밀 수중음향통신과 관련한 연구동향과 수중 채널 환경의 특징들에 대해 소개한다. 육상 무선통신 환경과 마찬가지로 수중 채널에서도 전달 손실, 다중경로 전달, 도플러 효과 및 잡음이 장애 요인으로 작용하나 물 속의 상황을 정확히 예측하기 어렵고 시간에 따른 변동성이 매우 심하기 때문에 통신 시스템 설계를 어렵게 한다. 이러한 장애 요인들을 극복하면서 은밀 수중음향통신으로써 대표적인 대역확산 기법과 함께 수중 생체 모방형 신호를 사용하는 방법을 소개하고, 실제 국내 해역에서 획득한 데이터를 이용한 결과들을 제시한다.

Satisfaction Factors and Determinants of Visitors in Byeonsanbando National Park, Korea (변산반도국립공원의 탐방객 만족요인 및 예측모형 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to provide basic data for developing the practical park management. For this, satisfaction degree, satisfaction factors and estimated model by satisfaction variables of visitors analyzed through a questionnaire survey in Byeonsanbando National Park, Korea. In the evaluation of the satisfaction, variables of 'careless cooking'. 'collection of natural plants & animals', 'Noise and urination on the road' and 'Littering problem' at Naesosa and 'crowding', 'touting', 'Indiscreet use' and 'Illegal merchant' at Gyeokpo was most unsatisfied than any other variables. Satisfaction factors by Factor Analysis were loaded with 'user management' at Naesosa(65.1%) and 'business behavior management at Gyeokpo(68.4%) by the highest contribution degree. In estimated model of satisfaction by Multiple Regression Analysis showed in order of 'Injury of landscape resource', 'Lack of information facility', 'crowding' and 'Lack of employee's guidance or kindness' at Naesosa and 'Injury of landscape resource', 'Lack of information facility', 'Illegal merchant', Lack of facility to stay' and 'Lack of employee's guidance or kindness' at Gyeokpo. So, Mountain and marine National Parks needed different management policy and are required to institutional apparatus for user education.

  • The paper provides an approximate cost estimating model that can be used for tunnel. Based on the previous study analyzed critical factors that have impact on tunnel construction cost, this paper establishes a cost variance index table that reflects the cost impacts due to the change of the critical cost factors. An estimating procedure is described utilizing the index table. For the verification of the suggested model, the comparison of the estimated construction cost with real project cost is performed. The estimated results range from 95%~111% of the real project costs. As an approximate tunnel cost estimating model, the model can be utilized to quickly estimate tunnel construction costs based on the conceptual information at the planning stage and to efficiently make a decision on design alternatives.

A Study on Machine Learning-Based Estimation of Roadkill Incidents and Exploration of Influencing Factors (기계학습 기반의 로드킬 발생 예측과 영향 요인 탐색에 대한 연구)

  • This study aims to estimate roadkill occurrences and investigate influential factors in Chungcheongnam-do, contributing to the establishment of roadkill prevention measures. By comprehensively considering weather, road, and environmental information, machine learning was utilized to estimate roadkill incidents and analyze the importance of each variable, deriving primary influencing factors. The Gradient Boosting Machine (GBM) exhibited the best performance, achieving an accuracy of 92.0%, a recall of 84.6%, an F1-score of 89.2%, and an AUC of 0.907. The key factors affecting roadkill included average local atmospheric pressure (hPa), average ground temperature (℃), month, average dew point temperature (℃), presence of median barriers, and average wind speed (m/s). These findings are anticipated to contribute to roadkill prevention strategies and enhance traffic safety, playing a crucial role in maintaining a balance between ecosystems and road development.

A Study on Determinants of the Ecotourist's Satisfaction with Geumgang Birdwatching Destination (금강 철새도래지 생태관광객의 만족에 영향을 미치는 결정요인에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this research is to suggest appropriate directions for the desirable ecotourist attraction management through the investigation of the tourist's satisfaction with ecotourism in case of Geumgang birdwatching destination. This research focus on the identification of the determinants of the ecotourist's satisfaction and the estimated regression model. The results of this study for the tourist's satisfaction with the ecotourism are summarized as follows. First, as a result of the factor analysis of the tourist's satisfaction variables, five factors like 'knowledge information', 'experience', 'ecological value', 'guide service', 'facilities environment' are deduced. Second, as a result of the test of significance, the difference of the satisfaction with ecotourism in aspect of the tourist's demographic characteristics like age and academic background is confirmed to be statistically significant except sex. Third, the tourist's satisfaction with ecotourism appears to be positively correlative with the tourist's overall satisfaction.

Effects of Road and Traffic Characteristics on Roadside Air Pollution (도로환경요인이 도로변 대기오염에 미치는 영향분석)

  • While air pollutants emission caused by the traffic is one of the major sources, few researches have done. This study investigated the extent to which traffic and road related characteristics such as traffic volumes, speeds and road weather data including wind speed, temperature and humidity, as well as the road geometry affect the air pollutant emission. We collected the real time air pollutant emission data from Seoul automatic stations and real time traffic volume counts as well as the road geometry. The regression air pollutant emission models were estimated. The results show followings. First, the more traffic volume increase, the more pollutant emission increase. The more vehicle speed increase, the more measurement quantity of pollutant decrease. Secondly, as the wind speed, temperature, and humidity increase, the amount of air pollutant is likely to decrease. Thirdly, the figure of intersections affects air pollutant emission. To verify the estimated models, we compared the estimates of the air pollutant emission with the real emission data. The result show the estimated results of Chunggae 4 station has the most reliable data compared with the others. This study is differentiated in the way the model used the real time air pollutant emission data and real time traffic data as well as the road geometry to explain the effects of the traffic and road characteristics on air quality.

A Study on Global Sourcing Based on Information Technology (정보기술을 기반으로 한 글로벌 소싱에 관한 연구)

  • A key concern at these days is where to find a suitable location for their business activities, bearing in mind that they must find the right balance between global integration and local responsiveness. This article suggests that globalization may be enabled by Information Technology. It focuses on the sourcing process, an area where globalization is often claimed to be the case. Re-examination of empirical evidence shows that global sourcing is not as generally predominant as is claimed. Consequently inhibitors to global integration exist and these inhibitors are classified into three categories: geographical, relational and environmental inhibitors. The role information technology plays in reducing these inhibitors and formulate propositions that are then illustrated in two case studies. Information technology is proposed to reduce the geographical and relational inhibitors, but it will have no effect on environmental inhibitors. However, the latter category of inhibitors will become more prominent in the future. Information technology thus shifts the balance towards global integration, but simultaneously creates new problems in managing internationalization.

  • 본 논문에서는 Scikit-learn 패키지의 LinearRegression 모델과 Keras 딥러닝 모델을 활용하여 수도권 도시 환경 요인에 따른 범죄 발생 건수를 예측 모델을 제안한다. 연구 방법으로 범죄 발생과 유의미한 관계가 있다고 파악되는 수도권의 각 자치구 별 데이터셋을 분석하여, CCTV, 파출소, 가로등의 수가 범죄 발생에 유의미한 영향을 끼치는 것을 확인하였다. 독립 변수들 간에 Scale을 줄이고자 정규화를 진행했고, 종속변수의 정규성 확보를 위해 로그변환을 취했다. 손실 함수는 회귀문제에서 사용되는 'relu'함수를 사용했고 모델의 성능을 확인할 수 있는 지표로 MSE(Mean Squared Error)를 사용해 모델을 구성하였다. 본 논문에서 설계한 이 프로그램은 범죄 발생율이 높은 지역구에 경찰 인력의 추가적 배치, 안전 시설 확충 등 실무적 조치를 취함에 있어 근거를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.
